My first visit I was turned away and made a life attempt. It only got worse from there.

This is a place where you find good friends, plus the staff are nice and friendly.

I would like to know who the organization is/was that provided a house on the 900 block of Devore Avenue in Bakersfield, CA 93308 in 2013. The recipient is a Vet. HIs name is Chris and I understand he works with troubled Vets. Large amounts of money were spent on this houses renovation, to include complete removal of a pool. The resident Vet has let the house go to complete hell. The back fence is falling down and into his neighbors yard that was supposedly built by the organization that gave him this house. It has become an eyesore to the neighborhood and devalued property values to the point no house for sale on the block can sell with this JUNKER on the street. Your intentions might have been good, but wasnt there anything told the the ex-soldier that appears to have no problem with living like he grew up in the slums that its not ok to do it here!!!! Im a proud citizen and respect our military. Their duties are to their country, including the neighborhood they have been provided a free place to live in. This is shamefull!!!
