Dewey is great! My mom has used them for years, so once I moved out, obviously I was going to use them! They are always on time and very professional

Overall just a terrible experience. I do NOT recommend anyone going with them. They might promise you a really good price but in the end it wasnt worth it. Take my experience as a learning lesson and go with a different pest control company. They did not delivered on the service that the door to door salesman promised. If I could rate negative stars I would.

This company scammed our family into purchasing a mosquito control unit that never did it’s job and was never maintained by anyone from Dewey’s. I called multiple times and personally went Into their office and was given the run around by the office personal the manager himself would not get back to me and when he did he promised to find a solution to the problem and now avoids contacting me. All I asked for was a refund on that part of the service and they refuse to refund $210 for services never provided. I would not recommend them as they are nothing but scammers to families that trust that they would sell them something that is reliable. My son is extremely allergic to mosquito bites and that was the main reason for this purchase.

Elser is the best!we have had him as our personal exterminator for the past 5 years. We only saw dead bugs after he sprayed ..I definitely recommend Dewey

It wasnt until Stefan Munoz became our technician and turned around our community within weeks. His due diligence and hard work has brought back our community within the standards we expect it to be. Stefan Munoz is an admirable employee and deserves his recognition to detail.

Technicians are friendly and professional. Office staff have etiquette. No matter the issue, Dewey Pest control has come through for my family.

It hasnt been a month yet since we switched to Dewey Pest Control and we are already disappointed. My husband had called the sales agent Jared (who said could be reached in case of any problems) BUT no answer nor callback from him. It hasnt been a month yet from they last serviced our home and we had already seen so many insects inside our home that we have never seen nor experienced before when we were with Dans Pest Control! My husband called their office too but no answer! How I wish we didnt switch to Deweys and I shouldve checked their ratings first before we made this decision!

This pest control company has been great! The Manager named Eric was very helpful and knowledgeable about my pest problem. When I called the office staff was friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend Dewey to anyone for taking care of their pest problems!!

I have used Dewey since about May 2016. The service of the field technicians is outstanding and highly professional. They are very knowledgeable about the different pests and the most effective form of long term control. I have had the same applicator, Ed, for the duration of my service to date and his customer service is superlative. He spent about 45 minutes of his time patiently explaining to me how to maintain my yard, house, vegetation, and landscape watering schedule to naturally deter common pests. He explained the pertinent life cycles of the various critters and how give my yard the best health. Ed is incredibly thorough and is also very efficient. When I finished talking his ear off, he completed a comprehensive service quickly. My yard is quite challenging to spray and he was done in about 20 minutes, including the inside.About the product: When we first came to this house, it had been vacant for a number of years. The backyard was a living carpet of cockroaches at night. The eves of the house were infested with all sorts of spiders. There were myriad other mutant looking creepy crawlies all over the place. The first night after the application the yard looked like a mass bug suicide. The next night, we only saw a countable number of roaches. Since that point we have only seen a single roach (outside only, never once inside since we began service,) a few times over the course of several years! If we do see a pest, Dewey usually is able to make it out the same day if called early enough. At the latest they will be there the following day.The office staff is also very polite, efficient, and competent. Ive always had my problems handled expediently.They are fairly priced for the service and the product is very effective.Highly recommend, especially Ed!

We recently were convinced to sign a contract with this company since the sales guy pitched us all the great services we would receive, and a month into services weve learned that every word that came out of that salesmans mouth was pure lies. Ive called the company to cancel my services and they want to charge me a cancellation fee! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEST COMPANY

I love Deweys. They are very friendly and accommodating. Ive dealt with Angela in the office several times, shes always so pleasant and helpful. Theyve also taken care of our ant problems outdoors, as well as once inside. Definitely recommend.

Excellent service from technician David Smith. He contacts me and lets me know one day ahead of the service so I can inform him of any bugs problems. He does a very through job of webbing all house eves, patio cover and fences. He sprays around the patio furniture dramatically reducing spider webs between service.

Thank you to the staff from Dewey in Bakersfield, I went in this morning to pay a bill and had very nice attention from the office staff and the young man in the office who may have been the manager. Anyway they were very hospitable and it was very much appreciated.

When my wife and I first moved into our new home, we were having a lot of pest issues. We signed up with Dewey. The sent Anthony out to get rid of our problems. He came very polite and confident in resolving our issue. He knew what he was doing and with that he eliminated our pest problem. Thank you Anthony and Dewey for your help.

I was repeatedly being overcharged for service per the contract. Would have to call the office and wait on hold several times to be corrected. The tech would call less than 12 hours before service day to schedule and would not call when he arrived on the property to get access inside. They did a mediocre job controlling the bugs and a cleaning cobwebs. There are better pest control companies in town with better rates.

I requested an appointment for this company to come out and give me a consult. They called me back with a day but never a time and said the would call me the next day right before they came. They never called and never showed up. This was last week.. 👎🏼

So today my wife had an issue with ants in our pantry, I called our provider which is Dewey Pest Control and we were told our regular tech Eugene was out on leave which was kind of frustrating, however I spoke to the Branch Manager by the name of Eric and he assured me that he would send out another tech to take care of the issue. A tech by the name of Pablo came out and did great service. I hope the ants dont return but if they do Im sure theyll take care of it.

Hey, my friends Tech, Jr., does such an amazing job. I go over there all the time and i have never seen a spider or a roach. My friends says that he is quick and very nice to them, as well.

If I could give them no stars I would worst pest control ever the salesman that sold me the contract made it sound so nice said if I ever needed them to come in between service they will no problems but I wouldn’t need it then he said Only had to pay a sign up fee of $59 then from there a Bi-monthly fed off $66 well I have been charged a $59.00 in May and $67 in June. I still have a bunch of spiders and ants and when I told them they said well it’s because you have a bimonthly service and I told them no you I’ve made you guys come out here at least every month due to how bad service they show up when I’m at work when I told them I will be there at 4:30 pm on the dot they don’t even clean up the webs when I call and complain they say oh we will send a technician that’s better and more experienced which I don’t think it’s the technician I believe it’s their product because when I have used Terminix or a local pest control in the past literally spiders come down dying as soon as they spray please save your money not worth the hassle Im stuck with a contract that if I cancel I end up paying more then keeping them.

I would not recommend this company. The service tech that does my house is very rude and condescending and never shows up on time. David the new office manager says he’s gonna call you but you never hear from him. I’ve given him plenty of chances to fix the problem and nothing. Going back to my old company.

The Bakersfield exterminators coming out were great. The secretarys need to be re-trained when it comes to cancellation. I had cancelled at the end of June 2017 after my yearly was up. They said they would still have to come out in July because they need a month in advance. I said fine. Their last service call was in July 21 but come August 16 they still took money from my account. I distinctly asked the secretary if i would not be having any withdrawal from my account for August, she indicated no, but guess what? they withdrew it for August. So when i called them about that, they did see on the paper work it was cancelled but they said it would take 2 weeks for my account to be credited, I said how is that? if other businesses make a mistake they credit your account within 3 business days? When first signing up they want you to stay with them for a year before cancelling. If you cancel before that its $127.00. I understood that but, they would withdraw the money every 16th and wouldnt come until sometime during that week. When i first talked to them they said no money is taken out of your account until we come to your house to do the service.i wont be going back to them i would rather be with an extermination company that is trustworthy in every way.

So Im just a renter, but I informed the owner there was something eating the molding around the door frame in front of the washing machine....carpenter ants, termites...??? he called dewey pest control, I found a note when I came home from work, the inside and patio were treated for ants......what ants??? I have never seen an ant in here or outside!! I called the office, only a manager can come look at all the wood droppings that are STILL sitting there (dont know why Teresa didnt see it last week..??!!)....but it wont be until later this week....when Im not home, again...to explain or show what the problem is....before anyone can come........poor customer service if youve already mistreated the place for the wrong insect and now another week will have gone by before anyone can get here. I would think a manager would have immediately addressed the problem last week when it was brought to their attention......

I am very very upset with this company... they send u charges for future months ... and try to screw u over for a hole monthly bill even when ur service dosent get done... u try to speak to manager Eric to explain ur situation and tell them u have receipts but nothing they just money hungry expect u to pay no matter what.. Eric says they will investigate but they r full of it. I called before Xmas of 2k17 now its almost Valentines of 2k18 and still waiting for manager Eric to call me back!!!!!! Now I have received a letter from a collection agency for 72 dollars .. for 72 dollars they rather lose a customer than to make it right wow what a way to run a company how is a customer suppose to pay for months that they didnt service the home.. somehow the worker said they did the job but have no proof or dont have a receipt to go with monthly work.. Eric b careful who u hire workers might b pocketing the money... I truely dont recommend this company at all... CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! Will try to get a hold of corp....

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I will be paying the 100 dollars to get out of our contract with them because they are so terrible.For one thing even though we were paying for pest control, our spiders and ant problems are worse then they ever have been.According to them they will come out free of charge to spray anytime in-between the regularly scheduled three month intervals. We had to do this multiple times in the nine months that we received their service. I believe they are intentionally trying to use bare minimum of product to save themselves money.One of the times we called them out to spray ants in the backyard, the man they sent out made me extremely uncomfortable after I realized he was trying to see past me into my house. Not cool!!Although they said they would give 24 hour notice before showing up, they sent people to our home unexpectedly. I dont think they ever sent the same person twice either. My husband had to call and remind them that we needed to know they were coming first.The last incident which led to us cancelling our service was also because they showed up with out my prior knowledge. I was at home alone with my 2year old. I will not open the door for anyone that I do not know or am not expecting. They knocked at the door, but I did not open it because I didnt know they were coming. The man kept knocking and ringing the doorbell for several minutes until I yelled thru the door that he needed to go away. He then told me he was from pest control to which I responded that I did not know they were coming and that we would need to set up a time. To this he said that I needed to open the door so he could hear me. I told him No, and that he needed to leave now. I then grabbed my baby and ran down the hall to call my husband and then the police if needed. The man continued to ring the doorbell and knock for a total of 15 minutes. My husband called, first to see if it was them and then to complain about the whole situation. He was told by the manager It was a miscommunication and his worker just wanted to make sure you got your service and He could not hear with the baby crying and the dog barking Let me just say if he heard a baby crying when she was only pretending to bark like the dog, then he most definitely heard me yelling thru the door!!No thank you Deweys Pest control!!! We will take our business to someone that hires professional, courteous employees that actually know how to control pests!
