Got my eyebrows threaded at Monas and she did amazing, she took her time rather than rushing. She offered to color my eyebrows in, I declined at first because I have never before and dont know how to, she showed me how and filled them in for no extra cost. I will defiantly be making this my number one spot. My eyebrows look great!

Shivali does a wonderful threading job on my brows and is very proud of her work. I recently started going to her for a body wax and she is very friendly and professional. I am very comfortable with her and will continue to go to her for all my waxing and threading needs.

This is the BEST place to go for anything that has to do with beauty. They gave me a haircut, and my daughter as well. My daughter is autistic and she got a haircut and nails done at the same time. She inspired me to get a manicure. Since then I go get my nails done twice a month. Linda is awesome with nails, I also got my toes done as well. Then Melissa is the best in cutting hair. She has cut my hair for 22 years. I always get asked where do you get your hair done at. The other day a lady came in and needed to get high lights in her hair and she just walked in. Melissa said, No problem. So she got right to work and it looked beautiful.

I went in super excited to have my hair done in years! Needless to say it was the worst experience ever. I never will trust anyone with my hair ever again. I went in to get a Carmel color with some highlights. My hair came out a dark ugly uneven brown, with uneven highlights! To make matters worse my hair is completely fried! My hair was in good condition before going. I didnt even have this much damage when I went blonde years ago. I have a wedding to go to this weekend, in a desperate attempt to salvage my hair and look presentable, I went to Sallys a bought hair dye to cover up the terrible job they did. Perhaps having only one person take care of people as they come in plus taking care of their own appointments, is not the best way to help clients. This just calls for a sloppy job.

I wanted to treat myself to a new hair color and cut for my birthday. I had an appt. with Melissa Valero for 9:30 last Saturday and didn’t leave until a few minutes after 6 pm. During this time I had been sitting with bleach on my hair for approx. 6 1/2 hrs. Melissa was texting and talking on her phone throughout the entire stay, periodically walking away or writing things in her appt book. She also worked on 3 other clients all while I waited. I then left the salon with a completely botched haircut and balayage hair color, as well as with dye all over my face. Luckily my sister had advised me to go to Sally’s Beauty Supply to purchase dye remover or I would have showed up to work with it on my face. I made an appt with Erin at Essentials in the Marketplace and she was able to fix it as best as she could including having to cut inches off from all the damage. While I was getting my hair fixed I was told Melissa had only dyed patches of my roots. She only partially colored my roots, skipping the crown of my head, and bleached the entire rest of my hair not weaving or leaving out any of my dark color to blend my hair together as opposed to being choppy and contrasted. When I asked for a refund she begged me to allow her to fix my hair, saying it only needed toning. That clearly wasn’t accurate as my hair had to be darkened again and color pulled down to break up all of the orange from the bleaching process. In the end I was told by Melissa she would only dye my hair back to the original color it was in, which was quite humorous considering she spent a vast majority of the time telling me how bad black hair dye is. I should also mention that she contacted my friend (whose lady admitted she didn’t know how to do balayage’s and therefore recommended me to Melissa) attempting to plea with her, instead of responding to my attempts to contact her. I would never recommend anyone to Melissa, because obviously she doesn’t know how to put her customers first before her pride or paycheck.
