Incompetent and shady. They installed our sprinkler system without getting the plan approved by the Fire Chief ahead of time. They eventually produced a plan that showed water drawn from the street side, when it was located in the alley. THey didnt even bother to work off of City approved plans, but off of prelimary sketches which were categorized as such when presented to them when we asked for a bid. When this whole debacle came to full light, Jason, who claimed to be their regional supervisor, offered to knock $1,500 off our bill. He sent a revised proposal where he specifically excluded all of the work they messed up, work that was included in the original proposal--I think that is called a bait and switch. They eventually sent their designer out to the job where he proceeded to insult my father and cast blame his way because changes were made to the approved plans. If they had done their job and actually worked off of City approved plans, as opposed to preliminary sketches, then that would not have been an issue, I know this because this whole nightmare has provided me with a crash course in fire sprinkler installation that I never asked for and didnt want. Our project has been delayed for weeks and counting. You cannot create a problem-solving environment when you act with incompetence, try to dupe your client, then try to blame your client for your own incompetence. It should also be noted that they go by several different names and their contractors license is associated with at least half a dozen different company names.
