This place is great! My younger child got the haircut sitting still in a vintage metal vehicle watching the show of his choice. They even let my older child play with a game console while we waited. It was quick and pleasant and he wants to go back!They require appointments, which may just be during covid times. For now there was a small added charge for extra sterilization, understandably.

Honestly it’s a hit or miss. Really depends on who is working. We’ve been here multiple times some have been great and others not so much. It’s also expensive for kids BASIC haircuts. We continue to come here only because it’s very kid friendly (obviously), fun and the workers are patient they also have cartoons playing to keep the kids entertained while getting their cut. They are STILL charging a COVID fee in July on top of their already high prices also it is still appointment only. (Used to be walk-ins only)

Worst experience, ever. The haircut they gave my son I could have done myself with kitchen sheers. The First Birthday Award they advertise is simply a Ziploc bag of hair and a flimsy piece of paper from a home laser jet printer thats clearly running out of ink (they didnt even fill it out with his name). They do not take $100 bills but no one bothered to tell us that during the 3 phone calls setting up the appointment, checking in or on the way there. They require masks for fully vaccinated people and give the excuse of THEY dont want us asking for vaccination proof to forego this requirements. Normally, I dont mind wearing a mask but I had a job interview after the haircut that day. They had every opportunity to set customer expectations. My kid cried the whole time because mom was outside looking in through the glass. No apology, no empathy, no compassion. But they snatched up my money QUICK. Not cool. Not cool at all.

EDIT TO ADD: I CALLED SHARON THE MANAGER WHO IS AWESOME SHE IS GOING TO FIX HIS HAIR AND MAKE IT RIGHTI have taken my son here 3x in total Sharon and another lady were excellent with him and cut his hair great. We went this last friday 8/20/21 and my son was just not having it hes 2. The lady wasnt too friendly and cut his hair horribly. I asked for a comb over like always there was no blending at all seriously looks like a bowl cut with a harsh line, she also did not put on a neck liner so he was extremely irritated by the hair on his neck. I had to pay a sanitizing fee which she literally did in 1 min not sure how sterile that is? Not sure if we will go back maybe only to Sharon.

Depends on who you get, and honestly time and the type of day those angels had. Ever try giving a screaming kid a cut? These ladies deal with it all!!! I should say the 4 stars is not for the service, but for the actual facility. Definitely could use an upgrade not only for customers, but for the ladies as well.

We love Cool Cuts because they have allergy friendly hair products and entertainment for younger children. We have gone several times, and I would normally give 5 stars. However, yesterday the stylist put layers in my daughter’s hair without asking. Now her hair is poofy, and cannot be put into a ponytail.

The website should really be updated to say appointment only so people don’t waste there time driving over there for no reason.

Love this place my son has been here a few times but they’re so patient with him and even take the initiative to hold him or play with him so I can check out without my hands being full and as a mom of two it is such a relief to not feel over whelmed definitely love them and how friendly they are to not only myself but kids !

I rearranged my entire morning for this and they didn’t even have the decency to show up. The entire place was closed yet they’re supposed to be open at 9am. We waited until 10:05am and no one showed, answered the phone or the door. Waste of our time and money. Thanks for nothing

This place is wonderful and caring for the littles. You dont have to be embarrassed if your child is a screamer or scared as really little ones often are. We have been coming here for years and have gotten very nice cuts. Even during covid they really try to help you within the constraints of our new reality.

The staff is so patient with the little ones getting their haircut. Clean salon & friendly atmosphere. They work with the parents to get the job done.

Staff was so friendly. My 1 year old never lets me brush his hair so I was shocked to see how calm he was during his cut. They have everything from toys, bubbles, and TVs. Will definitely go back. Little pricey but worth it.

I had an amazing experience here cutting my 8 month olds hair for the first time. They save a lock of hair and give you a little certificate of first haircut to put pictures in. You take the pictures though. I will definitely be going back to cut his hair soon.

I paid 21.99 for them to chop up my two year old other hair cut. I just wanted her to take off from the sides & leave the top alone. She cuts the entire front off, not taking him again. I rather do it my self.

I gave this place 4 chances, since it was a kids hair salon. All four of those times they did a terrible job. The staff never have a smile on their face, they always look miserable. I ask them to do a fade on my son and never seem to understand what a fade is. They always use one size clip for the whole head. They leave longer hair on some parts. I expected a better cut and better customer service from this place. And to top it off their prices are high. Twenty dollars for a kids hair cut, at least they should treat you nice. Never plan to go back. Do not recommend to anyone.

I usually never complain about anything but today I took my son to get his first hair cut. I thought he was going to act crazy and wild, but he was very calm and happy. The lady who cut his hair as nice and friendly but her quality of work was horrible. She left his hair patchy and didnt even cut it how I wanted it. I even provided several photos and she did not deliver. I paid her 20 dollars for a 4 minute haircut. Dont go here just ask your regular barber. That is where I got his hair cut fixed.

We have been going there since our son turned 1 year old. He is now turning 5. We highly recommend it. Chairs are designed like a car, they get to watch a movie and get candy in the end. Plus they save your info from last haircut. Staff is very professional and fast.

The stations have cute themes everything from Coco to Cars... They have games and movies playing. They even have computers and a small play area. My child would not stay still anywhere else but here

I took my son here for his first haircut and it went surprisingly well. I dont remember the ladys name that did his hair but she did really well. I dont even think he knew his hair was being cut lol she was like a ninja Haha. I highly recommend this place for a first haircut. Its a lil pricy but definitely worth it!

I dont care about all bad reviews. We went there last night. My 1 and a half year old son had his first haircut. We were happy with there service. Gina was a fast hair cutter. We like her and definitely recommend the place.

Not like before. I used to bring my daughter here and it was a nice place. Today, I arrived and talked to the same stylist and she told me it was going to be an hour wait, so we came back after one hour. I asked her how much more time we should wait and she said 30 more minutes. I told her that we had already waited one hour. Her reply wasthere are people with appointments. Well, she should have said that when we arrived, not let us wait for one hour.

Used to love this place when Jennifer worked there. Took my 2 year old a few days ago and didnt realize how patchy and uneven they left his hair. I couldve saved my $30 and done that myself.

I never thought Id be leaving a bad review on anything, but I feel I have to warn other parents.All the good reviews are for boys. Parents, dont take your daughter their for her first trim. We went thinking it would be a great experience. Our first time trimming her hair was the complete opposite. It was bad the moment we walked in the shop.Two barbers and we waited 5 minutes to get signed in. Not even a well be with you in a minute.We wanted a few inches off the bottom, which the lady did do. But she didnt even it out! It was very poorly cut. There were so many areas that were longer than others. We had to keep telling her where she missed hairs that would stick out past the line. The ends did not go straight across. Im no barber, but even i know you must wet long hair to even out the ends. It was not wet even when I requested it. When we got home, total disaster. There were so many areas that were not cut. I wish I could post a pic to show the disaster. We ended up finishing the job ourselves. We shouldve just done it ourselves to begin with. We shouldve asked for our money back.Stay away from these types of commercialized shops who hire whoever walks in the door. Stick to those shops where the owner is doing the work. They make a living off it and know they have to do well to keep business coming in and make a living.Keep your daughter away from this place!

Got my sons hair cut here... his hair isn’t even cut in straight lines! Looks horrible!!!! He wasn’t even moving around or crying

My son is deathly scared of clippers but his hair had to get cut. When he doesnt want something to happen he will kick and scream and try to push you away and hes a pretty strong 5 year old. The hair dressor was able to cut his hair with clippers despite his wild tantrum without hurting him and she remained calm throughout the whole thing. I gave her a $20 tip because I was so impressed.

Great place to get the kids hair cut. We have a 10 year old with severe autism and two other boys with lots of energy and they love this place. Theres a separated play area with a movie playing, legos, and toy. There are also a couple of video game stations in the waiting area though some of the equipment needs to be replaced. Theres a row of toddler hair cutting stations with various vehicle seats and a tv for movies at each station. Theres also a row of stations for the older kids with a tv, DVD player, and game system at each one. The hair dressers are all vey nice, patient, and do a great job on the kids hair. Our oldest son ids very hard to get hair cuts for but this place had been wonderful with him. Each time they were extremely patient, went at his pace, and worked very hard to find just the right way to help him through the cut while still making him look good (and not just doing a basic pine length all over buzz cut).

Rude employee from the time we walked in. Employee did not cater to small children which is the clientel at this business. My daughter didn’t know any better but we will not be coming here anymore. It was our first time inside and I did not feel welcomed at all. Dont waste ur time and money coming to this place!

I got my sons first hair cut and every hair cut after here they do a great job w him. The ladies are really friendly and nice my daughter got her hair cut as well and the lady even styled it.
