Had car trouble at 2 AM. These guys picked up at the first ring and showed up very quickly. They were friendly and surprise me with how fast they showed up. They towed my vehicle and it was a pretty easy process.Very friendly as well. I recommend using them.

This place is by far the worst tow yard Ive had to deal with. Complete scam artists. My car was stolen and when the Covina PD recovered it, they had Jans Towing pick it up. When I went to go pick it up on the first day when my storage fee was $298, they refused me my car because I didnt have an ID, mind you it was stolen along with my car. And even after the Covina PD verified my ID for them, they still refused to give me my car. The next day while I was already driving to them from Hollywood, I called only to be told that even though they advertise that they close at 5pm online, they had actually closed at 12 so I would have to wait and pay another day for storage. The next chance I got to go pick my car up, I called them numerous times to let them know that I was on my way with all the documents they required and the money but that I might get there a few minutes late due to traffic. They told me that I would be allowed to pick my car up if I paid a late fee of $115 even though their daily storage fee is $65. So for being 4 minutes late, they were going to make me pay an obsurd amount. But once I got there, they told me they had closed 4 minutes ago and would have to come back the next day. Complete scam artists. Wouldnt recommend them if my life depended on them.

Pretty bad experience.I had to wait long for lock out service then when they got here they refused to service us because we had just bought the car and title transfer was still in the making.I reminded them that Aaa was the ones who towed my car to me from the old owners home just days before but they still wouldnt budge.I called aaa to get consent to proceed with services as the driver instructed.Jans towing never showed up and i was stuck with no other option but to allow locals to get my door open with some damage of course.Jans towing needs a new way of dealing with customers.Not only did they leave me hanging the attitude of the driver was sour, short fused, and offensive.Next time they should help find a solution rather than waste time arguing their point.And next time...try showing up to a service call as instructed.

Great service!I tried using the roadside assistance that came with my car. It was an awful experience communicating with them and I gave up after hours of waiting.So I called Jans, and within less than 90 min my car was dropped off at the destination and I was back on track!Thank you!

This towing company is absolutely the best towing company their is in SoCal. They have always been extremely professional and they are fast with their response. Don’t waste your time calling AAA for help call Jans and then tell the driver you want to use your AAA. You will not regret it ! Do not waste your time ever getting another tow company especially if it’s Hadley’s.

Normally when I get roadside assistance I don’t leave a review but man this guy Rick-Ray knew what he was doing. Extremely helpful, the people at Jans Towing are smart, fast, and most importantly of respectful, and I don’t mean in a fake way I mean as in they understand that you don’t know what your doing so they actually help you understand what’s happening so you know how to prevent it in the future. That kind of respectful.

My daughters vehicle was impounded and because she claimed the employees stole items from it, THEY REFUSED TO TOW IT TO HER HOUSE EVEN AFTER SHE PAID THE BILL IN FULL AND TRIED TO USE HER AAA CARD. Richard Lugo at the Azusa location was as good as it gets to great customer service. Prompt and safe service. My car broke down near downtown Azusa close to midnight, on my way home from work. He reassured me that all would be okay, made my Mom and I laugh, and had my car in our driveway quickly. (Towed from Azusa to La Verne). If youre looking for safe, prompt and great customer service, this is the place and guy! Thank you Jans Towing!

Jan’s auction sells cars with broken transmissions, that look nice. And have inside guys bidding up the prices on cars to get a cut themselves. Super crooks. Don’t bother going to this auction

My car got towed. I understand they deal with unhappy people, but the staff perpetuates the negativity. My registration was right on top in my glove box, they made me go get the pink or another printout from dmv. Then, they lost my keys and blamed me. Finally they found the keys. I received a very hollow apology. $300, and hours later, I was thoroughly treated like garbage by the Jans towing staff.

My experience with Jans Towing was a pleasure the ladies in the office were very professional and very helpful and kind also everyone followed the covid-19 guidelines even had cleaning disinfectant supplies in the office so you could wipe down the area as you sat down after the person before you and they allowed one person in the office at a time it kind of made the others a little upset but I was grateful for them being so cautious especially right now with the pandemic bless all of them may they all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

Went there to sign a release form for my car to my insurance.. Ron in the front desk made the transfer so easy and he even explained things to me in details.. ron is absolutely nice and friendly.. customer service is phenomenal

Went with friend to get truck from impound using my driver license, which was not convenient for me. The receptionist asked only for his credit card, not a valid license which was a wasted trip for me but a bonus if we had no license on a police impound. He had no issues with the impound so I dont have more to review.UPDATE 3 MONTHS LATER: Had a second opportunity to interact with Jans for a family member and experienced great service and help with getting our situation straightened out. It was late in the day but we werent rushed. Added one star for satisfaction for a 5 star review..

The auction didnt have all the vehicles listed for sale, and rude employee insisted I wear a mask while outdoors thats totally unnecessary 😑

Gil in truck 42 helped me out today. I had a flat tire and needed to be towed. Gil was great. He checked my tire and put air in it to see if it needed to be replaced, first. He explained everything he was doing. His truck was nice and clean. We had a good conversation during our 5-mile drive. He made the whole situation less stressful.

My baby was accidentally locked in the car with the keys in the front seat. I called AAA and they dispatched Jans Towing to our location. The driver, Richard L, responded and was there within five minutes as he was near by. When he arrived he got straight to work and got the door open in under 10 minutes so I could get to my baby. This is not the only time they have come to my rescue, whenever Ive called AAA and Jans has come theyve always been so prompt and the drivers are always extremely nice and helpful. I love working with Jans Towing.

They came out and put a sign and then they found out it was the wrong apartment. They took it off and never fixed the holes.

They towed are car at Azusa canyon... we were parked with everyone else, no signs sayin (no parking).. after are 12 mile hike tired and exhausted we get to where are car use to be with no cell service To get down the mountain luckily some one was nice enough to give us a ride down... this was ridiculous it should be against the law to tow someone’s car up there leaving them stranded with no way to call for help... I hope this towing company gets shut Down or the driver gets fired....These people are strait thieves took are car just because they could... watch out in Azusa even if there’s no sign that says NO PARKING they will still tow your car then charge you $500 And then tell you there closing so they can keep my car over night and make us pay more money.... these people are SHADY SHADY SHADY!!!!

I called Jans Towing for a flat tire. The receptionist was very friendly and let me know that the tow would be at my location shortly. The tow was there in 10 minutes...I was very pleased with the response time. The gentleman that drove the tow had my car hooked up quickly. He was very kind making sure that I didnt get out of the car while other vehicles were passing. He was a cautious driver and I made it to the tire shop safe and quickly. Jans Towing turned an inconvenient experience into a much smoother process. I would highly recommend Jans Towing if you are looking for a quick and professional experience. Thank you Jans!!

I called AAA and they sent Eli. Absolutely the nicest Key and Lock Service man I have ever encountered. He was so nice to my Grandson. Im 62 and he was able to make everything a laugh finding my keys werent in the ignition. THEY WERE IN MY FREEKING SHIRT POCKET! 🙄😏 Anyway. He must have a kid the same age. If not, HE SHOULD! I LOVED ELI. you will too. Someday he will have the keys to the building and train everyone. 🤨😉😊

Great place good service with a smile

Was in an accident this morning by Glendora, while I was on the phone sitting in my car on the shoulder away from traffic .Tow truck pulls up saying CHP called them and he told me to hang up the phone several times after I told him I was talking to insurance company . He was persistent about towing me to a shop he recommended that’s close by . I said I was gonna wait for my insurance . He replied saying it was prob gonna take 4 hours . Very unprofessional . After I declined, he convinced the guy that hit me to get towed . White guy with tattoos . The whole thing sounded very shady .

I was broke down in my truck pulling my 5th wheel trailer coming on to the 210 in the on ramp blocking a portion of the road. This place rocks. From the super comfy, clean, nicely decorated lobby which by the way smells nice and offers free bottles of refrigerated water to a nice flat screen TV, to the very nice, friendly efficient staff. I would highly recommend Jans for all of your tow needs

In addition to that while fixing my tire, two of my dogs escaped out of the house and without asking he even helped me get them back in! Very pleased with the service! Jon was amazing!

Carlos Garcia is a great employee. About a week ago, I needed a flat tire change while I was on the freeway and he came to help in no time. He helped with the flat tire and changed it quickly. He was also very polite and focused on his work. Great service!

I have used Jans towing many times for battery issues and tows. Have always have great service from the person answering the phone to the drivers who came to my rescue. Just looking at their equipment and you can see they take pride in their company. If you want something done right go with the pros and dont mess with the second string tow companies

Jon Carrera from Jans Towing was very professional and knowledgeable when I called AAA to have my battery replaced. He was able to successfully remove the positive terminal of my battery after being told by another technician that I would need to go to a mechanic and have it replaced. Jon saved me money and gave helpful tips for future reference. Extremely pleased with Jans Towing service!

AAA told me @ least 1/2 hr. >>> Jorge Arias ( driver of Tow Rig) was there in less than 15 mins., Amazing young man ~ his first concern was to get me to a safe place to wait while he hooked up. After getting me to sit in his truck & checking my ID / AAA membership. He went to work & took care of every little detail! Even cleaning the oil spill that my truck created when it dumped everything out! Very courteous, super professional, pleasant & relaxing attitude, instantly put me at ease & that isnt easy to do! My car wouldnt start and I needed to get it towed all the way to Monrovia. Dan M. came in a timely manner and was so nice and patient with me. We had a conversation about so many things and he really made something that was a bad thing, and turn it into a positive experience. I am so thankful Dan was the one who came to the rescue!

I called AAA to change a flat tire. In less than 10 minutes they sent Carlos Garcia from Jans Towing. He was extremely professional and polite. He quickly changed my tire and assured me to contact Jans towing if there were any other issues. I would request Carlos again if I had any issues with my car.

Called AAA for a new battery 2 hrs after I left Toyota of Glendora and specifically asked Toyota to check my battery and they said it was fine after my oil service. Well they were wrong. Battery died. I was so upset. But thanks to Carlos from Jans Towing everything worked out. He was patient and took his time cleaning off the battery acid. He explained that there was no way Toyota checked the battery because it was really bad. Called Toyota twice to complain now they want me to come back tomorrow to make things right. I told them I now dont trust that they even completed the service. Happy to have a AAA battery with a great warranty. Thanks Carlos for your help!

Called AAA for battery assistance and they sent us Jon Carrera from Jans towing. He was very quick in getting to us, very friendly, and very patient in explaining to us what the car needed to have done and even tried to help us troubleshoot what might have caused the battery to die. Amazing experience, we were driving the car again within 45 minutes of initially calling AAA. I would definitely recommend.

Came to the auto auction to buy cars. Some good deals and some not so good. But over all it was a good experience.

Called AAA, Jans Towing responded quickly. Mr. Barraza was the one who came out to help us. We work up to a flat and just needed some air to get us to the tire shop where we had an appointment to get new tires! He filled us up and even took a few minutes to explain some techniques to maintain the tires. But above and beyond, he drove behind us for a couple miles to make sure the air held and we got to the tire shop safely. Jans Towing does need to give the smaller vehicle drivers a bigger compressor though. He had a dinky little thing trying to fill up one of my Tundras huge tires.

Staff in the office are rude, uneducated, and trashy. basically if you arent white they arent going to treat you with respect.

We were charged $214 for a 5 mile tow and $58 to store my vehicle. I had my car stolen and they were called to pick up my car after police found it a mile from my home. They wouldnt let me pick it up the day it was found and then charged me $58 for an over night storage fee. When I called to find out how much it would cost to have my car towed the 5 miles they quoted me $90 but they said since the police called it was $272!! Way to price gouge after already having my car stolen and damaged. If anything you should offer a discount to innocent victims of crime, not double the fees. You should be ashamed.
