Nursing care exceptional. Drs great. Food services poor. Meal totally missed, dept. Closed. Ordered per direction. 4 1/2 wait, 5p delivery time 6:43p, says on cart but never delivered.

My daughter came here as directed by her doctor and was treated horribly! The doctor Regina Stiles and the assistant Tomas was rude and nasty to her. In a world of so many rudeness people dont need to be treated so badly. Whatever happened to being kind and ???? She was in Orthopedic clinic with a fracture wrist and to have her foot x-ray after a fire . She had to go down the stairs with out her boot on that mad her injury worse.

I have had a number of checkups and procedures here in the last five years, and have always had a highly satisfactory experience.The facility is not so large as to be intimidating, and the signage is easy to follow. And the staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful.

My partner had to stay overnight and I cannot believe how kind everyone in this tacitly is! The nurse Marie is very tenacious and through. The hospital is extremely clean.I am so thankful we have this in our back yard! Thank you very much

If I could give the ER zero stars I would. Do nothing time wasters. I left in more pain then I went in with. They didn’t see or visit my bed in the hallway (what a joke) for over 1.5hrs. Meanwhile I was in the worst pain of my life and I handle pain very well. I couldn’t move or walk. They gave me two Tylenol. Performed no tests. Sent me home. Laughable

My husband was in rehab in Avon. He pulled out his central line and had to go to Cleveland Clinic Avon. They discovered he had a severe fungal infection in a wound that was in his blood. Had he not pulled his line out rehab would not have taken him to the hospital and he would not have surrived. The staff at CC Avon has been AMAZING, they literally saved his life!!! The facility is beautiful, the staff is attentive and very kind. 3 West staff, nurses and aides are hands down the best and I am beyond grateful to them. The case management has kept me updated daily. The attending physician and surgeon have been amazing. I cant thank them enough for all they have done!!

Had a 2 night stay, was treated very well, hospital is modern, and clean, Food was exceptional for a hospital. Staff friendly and helpful.

Had my first Colonoscopy today and Dr. Gutnick and his team were awesome. Made me feel comfortable and informed which in return made me feel relaxed. The before and after nurses were just wonderful making sure I was doing good. Thank you for making something uncomfortable not so uncomfortable.

Doctor Cooper is not professional and he refused to treat me. I went in one day and he did nothing. My illnesses never got better so I waited a month before returning. I wish I went to a different hospital because I unfortunately had to deal with Dr. Cooper again. Immoral and unethical treatment of patients. I’ve never been so let down by a healthcare professional.

Knowing I had Coronavirus I was sent to the Avon campus for complications. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful. They took great care that I was comfortable. Explained everything as we went along. Took their time to explain the test results and were thorough in ensuring I understood the path forward. The attending physician just called to check on me and my progress. I’m from out of town and the care I’ve received as a visitor to the Cleveland area has been phenomenal. Thank you to all the frontline workers in the Cleveland Clinic family!

Im currently a patient and have been since 11/17/2020 Came to the ER for a horrible back and chest pain, cant say enough to all the staff from being greeted by security in the ER, CLEVELAND CLINIC POLICE OFFICERS, ER Staff, LAB, to be admitted, to all the wonderful staff on the 3rd floor, from the. DOCTORS,NURSES,PCNAS,OFFICE STAFF, DIETARY, HOUSEKEEPING, TRANSPORTER and Back to RADIOLOGY, PAIN MANAGEMENT. Everyone has been very helpful in explaining everything to me, making sure I and my family have everything they need. So from one FIRST RESPONDER to so many others here. THANK YOU ALL.

I have never received anything but the best care at Cleveland Clinic Avon. Come on people, it’s not a vacation resort !

My loved one went to this ER and was treated with utter disrespect. So disgusted in the staff, especially a nurse named Hanna who was incredibly rude. They have zero compassion for someone who was so ill. We regret coming here and will certainly not use this facility ever again. I’m not sure if posting this matters to the Cleveland Clinic, but I wanted others to know our awful experience.

I just want to say Thank you to the amazing team that I had while in the ER on 1/24/2020. I had 2 amazing nurses Meghan and Heather and an amazing Dr Libertin. I came in with a serious situation, they treated me with care and love. I recommend this hospital to anyone and everybody!!!Thank you again!!!

We’ve been here for Medical care several times and always have received excellent care. I can’t believe people are giving it 1 stars for food! Or a food delivery guy saying they have a tough time picking food out. This is a medical facility people! Rate them on their primary service. Most hospitals do not have restaurant quality food.

Received directions to Radiology from security at ER... very nice and helpful. Also treated extremely well by personnel in radiology. Totally impressed by all I reactions today!!

Five stars 10 stars if I could give them. ER is always clean. Nurse staff always attentive to patient needs. Do you know how hard it is to tote 3 small kids by yourself into the ER when a mommy is sick?

My brother went here three weeks ago with a high fever and cough. He was told he had the flu and they refused to test for covid, saying he wasn’t high risk enough (even though our dad is an essential employee who interacts with the public and is elderly). Now my mom and dad are very sick and they have all tested positive for covid as of this morning. If he had been tested as he’d wanted, he could have isolated and maybe our elderly parents wouldn’t be gasping for breath right now. ANYONE with covid symptoms should be tested. It’s disgraceful they aren’t and I’m furious.

I can only speak to one recent experience. The ER. Jim(nurse) and M. Kelley(physician). These two individuals were extremely professional. I was treated with respect and compassion. R. Starck should definitely be proud.

I was not pleased when I arrived at the hospital at 2:30 in the afternoon to discover my mother who is a diabetic had been served no lunch and no lunch have been ordered for her. After placing her food order she had to wait another 45 minutes to be fed.Evidently their food system requires a sick confused patient to call down and order their own food, even when theyre too sick to do it for themselves. You would think feeding a patient would be part of the patient care. I have to wonder if patients who dont have family there to help them go hungry.

This is a great facility full of awesome people performing wonderful services. I’ve always been met by cheerful people with a desire to be helpful. I appreciate all of those who are at the Cleveland Clinic Avon Jacobs Center

As BIG as this place is the waiting rooms are very small in the speciality departments I. E. Radiology, Blood Lab etc. Parking is horrible never seems to be enough spaces and way to far away from medical center and Hospital. Valet used to be easy to use but lately something has changed, there is no signage, and difficult to tell if anyone is working there or not. The place is like an airport with hundreds of people coming and going. It used to be a little more laid back and relaxing to go there. Now its is packed and everything and everyone seems in such a hurry and its busy, busy, busy. I find it very difficult that there are that many sick people but the place is always filled to capacity. Are there really that many sick, or health failing folks that this place is so busy day in and day out? If so then we have a much bigger problem because ALL of Cleveland Clinics buildings and healthcare centers are consistently filled. I guess I got off track a little but gee whiz its getting harder and harder just to go to the hospital or Emergency anymore. 😟

This was my first time. My mother had continuing issues due to a allergic reaction. She spent the night and I stayed over There was a small recliner chair to sleep but I had to request a blanket and pillow w a pillow case. Respiratory and nurses were great. Food is gross good luck.

I went into for a Mammogram screening walk-in and the lady at the front desk said I needed an appointment. Then she said I didnt have orders for it. I called my doctors office and they told me Avon office deleted them. There were there prior. Dr office also told me I didnt need an appointment since they have walk-in hours. Front desk are RUDE!! Need to hire new people/

My 93 year old Mom received excellent medi al care with attentiveness, respe c t and compassion. Her dignity was maintained.Nd

My mom was hospitalized last week and was extremely ill as well as ammonia level high. I drove 7hrs from falling Waters WV. I stayed for 2 days and cried when I left and told she wouldnt be released for at least 3/5 days since she was so ill. I left 2 days later and the next day they said she was medically cleared??? I talked to her nurse and stated how is she being released when she cant walk and still very sick? I also stated my mom would be right back to the hospital because she is not better. Guess what!!! My sister called to tell me my mom was just taken by ambulance right back to the hospital. She is even worse and needs a blood transfusion!!! I am furious and will take legal action immediately if anything happens to her!!!

Brought daughter in to have very minor surgery. Cold and uncomfortably feeling as soon as you walk in building! Patients are moved like cattle in and out of out patient area. Given an id number and Told to check on reader board for progress. Wow really!!!

I see a few doctors, use the lab, been in yhe hospital, and had physical therapy there. Clean and friendly environment. Cafe food has improved over the past couple years.

5th floor staff is amazing. But the social workers and adminstration are a joke. If it wasnt for the nurses everyone would die.

Unfortunately, I had no choice but to eat here due to some scheduling difficulties with my company. I wishvi hadnt. The fries were sitting out the soup looks watery. I cant believe I bought this fries because they were either soft and moist or so hard you could break a tooth on. The Ruben tasted like buds meat and was not pain bread it was white bread smashed into oblivion, and one of the pieces was a crust piece flipped around so you couldnt see the crust. Im a little sick to my stomach and I was going to get soup but after seeing what it looked like in a second time around, I just couldnt. I feel bad for people as I heard they are going to be open 24 hours a day....ugh. Every one was super sweet though. No I didnt complain. Whats the point. I mean they know. They must. I tried giving them a 2, I cant.

This is the absolute worse hospital I have ever been too. The stafff is completely incompetent and does not know how to deal with patients, and I am looking into filing a lawsuit over the matter. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY

The BEST staff in the ICU that anyone can ask for.

My elderly mom was admitted. She left the nursing home with her dentures in her mouth. Somewhere between the emergency room and then being admitted they lost her teeth. According to the nurse because the teeth were not on the personal property list she didnt have them. Yet she had them when she left the nursing home. Mom had a back injury. They let her go 8 half hrs between pain meds. She only got her meds after I asked the nurse for them. Mom could order her meals except she couldnt get out of bed to walk across the room to get it. I say no phone in her room either. I hope she never has to go back there again.

The ICU deserves 5 stars, really Dr. Taylor and a nurse in her 30’s. God bless them for saving my dad. Now, for me... I was misdiagnosed and sent home. That BS almost cost me my life. Inexperienced staff and nurses. Doctors are far and few between. It’s a learning hospital. There’s a couple of quality nurses there. But, the lackluster NPs and other incompetent nurses need a state investigation. Stay the hell off floor 3, a few staff members told its mismanaged. Trust me I lived it for 9 days. If, it’s serious go to the main campus, maybe Fairview.

The hospital rooms are to white and clinical..if youre in there for more than a day and the sun comes thru it gives you a very bad headache..also the decorating of the rooms are very bland..they need curtains above the windows and some artwork..not just a part of a wall thats brown wood..I was expecting comfort like fairview hospital but didnt get it..when youre sick you want something comfortable to be in not a exam room or emergency room feeling..otherwise the staff was good and the hospitalists were very knowledgeable..it was just the comfort feeling wasnt there..

The worst experience ever at the ER!Went in with pain and high blood pressure and left with pain and high blood pressure.

I was admitted and the nursing supervisor on 5 East refused to let my service dog be with me. This is a huge violation of ADA!

Customer service is waaaaay less than the main compass. I called for a hydration treatment they kept transfer me from one to the other and now i been on hold for 20 min

Might want to avoid their outpatient lab. Some very weird and unexplainable results lately on routine blood tests.

ER personal are the worst, they are very condescending, unsympathetic to their patients if possible go to Fairview hospital or downtown.
