We had the worst service provided by this team out of any hired workers to date. We flip homes for a living and have yet to come across this level of unprofessionalism. First, the team they sent made an absolute mess. I mean, every inch of my floors and ALL of the walls in the house were covered in floor adhesive until about 3 feet up the walls. To their credit, they sent a team of better workers to clean up the mess (which took one full day of work) and they tore up half the flooring laid. They had to buy more boxes of our flooring to be able to do the job. Once the team was done doing a *satisfactory* job, we needed the baseboards finished (they left many un-caulked) and the flooring to be fixed in some areas where it wasnt well installed. The owner proceeded to slowly ghost me at that point, as they had already received final payment. All in all, they made us spend more time, more money and most importantly - hours of my time scraping adhesive off of all my walls that I simply can never get back.
We just got our new floors put in. The crew came out and knocked out the demo in record time, got the floors and baseboards installed a full day ahead of schedule. There wasn’t any sacrifice to the quality of the install. The crew was friendly, professional, and efficient. I would recommend Texas Flooring Professionals for anyone looking for new floors!
We used Texas Flooring Professionals to replace the carpet in all three of our bedrooms. We went with a beautiful 7 Oak Coretec and we could not be happier! Ashley and Billy were extremely easy to work with, as were their entire team. The crew was able to completely finish our house in one day!! They did an incredible job and our house looks beautiful. The installation fast and efficient and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking to get a great quality floor!!
Jason from Texas Flooring Professionals did a wonderful job on an engineered wood floor for my mother. Her house was flooded due to a malfunctioning washing machine that required her to move out of her house for the duration of the drying out, demo of the ruined floor and the installation of the new floor. We visited numerous flooring stores trying to find a similar floor to be installed and all the stores we visited showed us similar flooring but it would take at least 3 weeks to just get the flooring delivered to Lockhart. Jason understood the rush to get my mother moved back into her house and he went above and beyond to locate an acceptable engineered wood floor that was in a local warehouse and he was able to obtain the flooring and get it installed in 1 week. The floor looks great and my mother is back in her house. Thanks so much Jason!
Billy and his crew did a great job on my floors. They demolished over 1700 square feet of old Spanish tile and installed beautiful new wood-look tile...Gabe and Luis were very detail oriented and pleasant to work with and Billy was very easy to communicate with via text and phone call. I’m really happy with the finished product!
Please, for the love of all that is holy, BEWARE and AVOID AVOID AVOID this company.UPDATE 2018: I just wanted to post an update on our floors after our nightmare experience with this company, who claimed in court that their shoddy work (which we found to be a breach of contract, as they did not install a floating floor as promised) was the fault of the cracked foundation. Well, its been two years now, and the replacement floating floor installed by another company still looks perfect. There has not been ONE single instance of buckling or warping such as you can see in my photos below of Texas Flooring Professionals job. The problem was not our foundation, but the fact that TFP company did not install the proper floor as agreed, and then would not fix their work. BEWARE AND AVOID.********************************************************************I am posting in the text of my Yelp Review, to save typing. I should note that Im disturbed to see, yet again here, mentions of lawsuits being filed by this company for payment against (presumably similarly) dissatisfied customers -- followed by threats to sue those disgruntled former customers for slander. Relating dissatisfaction and negative experiences is not slander, and I have reported them to Yelp for threatening reviewers. In our case, we certainly paid this company. They did not sue us; we sued them. We called to ask for advice regarding cracks in our foundation before they went to work for us. They twice represented to us that they would install a floating floor to deal with possible moisture issues from the cracks. We cleared the room (twice, a job that took 2 days each time) and bought flooring and underlayment at their instruction (twice), and TWICE they ignored the underlayment and just glued down flooring over the cracked slab. The first time, our daughters floor buckled horribly within 8 months. The SECOND, time they didnt bother to re-install the floor as promised at all. They just pulled up and re-glued a few planks! Those buckled again within 48 hours (see photos). We lost a lawsuit for damages against them this week somehow, despite reams of supporting materials documenting their various misstatements, and it was the final massive headache to add to a YEAR-LONG headache of the botch job they did on our daughters room. As of this writing, we may appeal, on the principle that this may be some sort of pattern for them and wed love to see it stopped. We have never sued a contractor before despite hiring many people for a variety of jobs around our house. Weve been happy with deck builders, house painters, carpenters, you name it -- but these guys take the cake.BEWARE.(15 minutes after my Yelp review went online, Texas Flooring Professionals replied to me! That was amazing, as when they were working for us, you couldnt get hold of them for love or money). The reply didnt even threaten to sue us for slander. :) It was as follows:**I understand you are upset that the court ruled and again notified you that you have foundation issues.**They seem to have to tell a LOT of people that they understand they are upset about what happened in court. In any case, the foundation was why we CONTACTED TFP. They saw our foundation issues and recommended a FLOATING FLOOR that they twice did not install.**Please take note that you also did not purchase your materials from us and are still using and walking on the floors that are not affected by your foundation crack.**No, we are not -- we finally gave up on them and had a real flooring professional, EL FLOORING, come rip out their shoddy, buckling, leftover work and install a floating floor as they twice promised to do. Miraculously, he did the work. It looks great.
I used them for carpet install. Here are the reasons why I like this company:1. Nimble company, fast to respond, provide estimates and quotes.2. One very important thing: their quotes are very good from the start. They dont pad them to reduce them later. They just want your business and act accordingly. I experienced this first hand: I wanted a carpet for which the competitor asked for a very high price. Asked Billy if he could supply that same carpet (never told him that there is a competitor), right out of the bat he gave me a very good price.3. If a problem occurs theyll fix it, period. They brought initially the wrong pad. Talked to them, acknowledged, came with the right one within an hour.2. His install crews are very good. I liked them, very decent hard working guys. They did a very good job, very satisfied.3. Billy inspected the work the next day, made sure we are happy.4. Payments and billing very straightforward. I paid, 1 minute later the invoice was in my inbox. My conclusion: used them, I like them. You cant go wrong. Theyll make it right to you.One more thing. One week after the install was done, I realized I forgot to tell them to install carpet in a very small closet. Called them, their response was, yes well come, well install it for free dont worry. What can I say, judge for yourself!
Texas Flooring Professionals did a great job for me. They installed about 1100 sf of engineered wood flooring (glue down). The house was empty as I had just bought it and hadnt yet moved in. They did an excellent job, and you couldnt even tell they had been there because they left it very neat. The trim they installed was done well. It all looks so nice. The only con is there were several places where fingerprints were on the wall and a few places where there is glue on the wall - wall was newly painted. Small spots, and very few, but thought I should be totally honest. Great job; and Rigo was a straightforward guy. I would definitely hire them again.
Great job! Very professional and friendly. We received an installation quote on Friday and they started demo and installation the next day. +1100 sqft of tile/carpet demo and wood floor installation was completed within 72 hours of the quote. The installation crew was helpful and did a quality job. Weve had the floors for a month now and no issues have come up. Id easily hire them again.
Steve Osiecki and his crew did a fantastic and perfect job. They laid travertine flooring for our entire main floor. Steve and his crew worked hard moved furniture and put back when through. The job was over 2,000 square feet and was done removal of old wood and tile floors and new floors in just over 3 days. They even installed tile base boards in “wet” areas per request. We Loved the job Steve and his crew did and continue to get complements with each friend and anyone who comes to our home. Steve and his crew are just the best workers to deal with friendly, courteous, and delivered what was promised and more.
I inquired about having engineered hardwood flooring installed for this summer (2015). I setup an appt. with Eddie and he showed me samples of the different products they carried. I liked the fact that he was thorough and patient (as I tend to be inquisitive by nature). He did a great job taking the floor measurements and giving me an estimate to the T. I am very pleased with the outcome of my floor installation. It is exactly what I had envisioned! Beautiful work!Thank you,-Rochelle
They just installed 2300sq ft of bamboo flooring for us, including stairs and new baseboards throughout our house. It looks absolutely beautiful! We would definitely hire them again should we ever need new flooring in the future.
I found Billy at Texas Flooring professionals while shopping for hardwood in the Austin area. He was one of the designated installers for Hardwood Bargains. We ultimately did not go with Hardwood Bargains, but went with Simple Floors instead. Even with the switch we decided to stick with Billy as our hardwood installer. Billy was extremely quick and responsive to my hundred and one questions. This was the first time we were doing such a big job and his professionalism and assistance throughout the process was amazing. It made us feel so much more comfortable that we had someone so accommodating as Billy on our side. We had so many changing variables, that Billys flexibility made things sooooo much smoother for us. It was probably 2800 sq foot of hardwood being installed. His guys came and picked it up from the warehouse. They were easy to work with and did a FANTASTIC job. they did the install fairly quick (4-5 days). They had to demo carpet & tile, and covered everything to prevent dust from going all over the appliances. Any remaining things that needed to be cleaned up, Billy made sure he sent over some maids to help clean up. The installation, the cleanliness, the speed, the professionalism, the flexibility, and overall customer focus from Billy was awesome. I would use Billy again in a heartbeat. He was also very competitive pricing wise. He took care of us which ultimately is what matters at the end of the day.
I referred Texas Flooring Pros to my father for his rental property remodel. Billy was extremely professional and knowledgeable. My father called me raving about the service. Id highly recommend them again! Floors look awesome!
We just had all the carpet in our home replaced with hardwood from Hardwood Bargains in Austin and installed by Texas Flooring Professionals. Our shipment of flooring was delayed about a month due to a longshoremans strike and throughout TFP was flexible and patient as the installation date changed and were able to jump right on it once the shipment finally arrived. The installation crew was friendly and very focused. They did a superb job and got the whole house done in two days. They were professional down to the last detail. For example, we arranged for them to install baseboards in the entire house that I supplied. I guess I expected to go back and caulk them myself but the crew took care of that. They also installed quarter round in the kitchen at no extra cost. The floors are perfect, and the total cost was about a thousand dollars less than had been quoted to us by one of the big box home improvement stores. We could not be more satisfied.
The workers had no respect for my home or personal property. The owners did not care about the installation of $10,000 in hardwood floors laid uneven with no prep work done to sub floors. The workers did not show up with any tools to work on my sub floors and I had to do the work myself and buy my own materials. Owners were not willing to work with me or help me out in any way. Beware!!!! Stay away from the Texas Flooring Professionals!!! Bad people and even worse craftsmanship and service!!!
I had the pleasure of working with Texas Flooring Professionals in March. I was unhappy with the tile in my condo (which had been installed prior to buying) and looking to install something new and fresh. TFP were incredibly helpful in assisting me on what to pick out. They were clear on the instructions for installation and kept me apprised every step of the way as the installation took place! After installation, we reviewed their work together to make sure I was satisfied. TFP were incredibly professional, hardworking and the job was well done! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to install new flooring.
Great work and customer service. Matched new wood flooring to existing flooring perfect!
STOP go back do not use this company. They did not do quality work on our floor. Floors uneven workers didnt do any preparation before they put floor down. We paid extra for concrete to level floors as they told us no big deal to level floor they do it all the time. The crew left my house a mess. Didnt tarp or tape off rooms so dust everywhere. Glue on walls finger prints everywhere. Garbage left outside my home plastic bottles, cans, cigarette buds everywhere. Dont have them move furniture either they broke a pottery barn changing table and just left it, broken one of a kind lamp ect. The owner doesnt know whats happening but will promised the world then say they never agreed to it or its not their job to do this or that. Bottom line when we came home to the floors and mess we asked company to honor 4 year warranty and they refused. Not even one day after work was completed would they not try to fix problems address issues. I would be sure to know what is the industry standard and put everything in writing. We believe in someones word and a handshake and this bit us in the end. I belive its better to pay a little more and go with some other company. This is to be used as reference to our experience with this company. I have videos to back hollow spots, un level floor and creaking on second floor. Also eyewitness to dust in home and damages. This is facts of the final work done and overall experience. This sites intention and mine is only to review and give facts so people can make informative choices.********Please save yourself the trouble the response from company below to my original review is filled lies and just goes to show how little they know about flooring. Why put flooring down with out any sub floor correction and then guarentee work? Its a sham and we did pay for sub floor work. This company just didnt want to do it. And when my husband caught them they said they didnt have the any tools to do it. Find a company that does not have these types of reviews. Two very bad reviews and one that was removed because they were threatened to take person to court if they didnt take down.
I am not one who normally posts reviews, but I honestly am extremely pleased with the service I received from this group of professionals. They provided top service and I would recommend them to anyone looking into home improvements.
