I had the best time today! I was there for a little over an hour (legs, Brazilian and underarms) and the company of my tech (I think it was Brianna!) was well worth the pain. I could have stayed much longer haha that’s how much fun I had. She was very thorough and you could tell she was a perfectionist. Thank you for making me vacation ready! Basically AMAZING. Quality of the wax, professionalism and friendliness of Jetara, the speed of service, all perfect!! Instructions were clear, process was quick, and Jetara walked me through the whole thing (including aftercare) with such patience. The only reason I have to give this place a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is because of the icky smell inside... the place itself is very clean, its just the smell! I almost had to leave/cancel it was so strong and overwhelming while I was waiting. Needed to shower as soon as I got home to take the smell off of me and my clothes.

This is an extremely great local place. I found it originally through Groupon as I just moved to Texas from New York. And my technician was a sweetheart. It wasn’t really painful which is surprising because wax always hurts me. Easy location to get to if you live in the southside and great price for the value. I highly recommend it. Don’t over pay and a lot of these places that don’t even do a good job.

I found this little place on groupon it’s no doubt they have the best waxing prices in Austin! The girl who did my wax was so nice and professional, I even recommend a friend but when she called to schedule an appointment she was hung up on by the receptionist because she said she was busy and was told to schedule online before she could even say a word.

When I got home, I had some wax left over inside my (ya know) and in my back area as well. First place I decided to try in Austin for waxing and it’s become my go to spot for months now. Not only is it affordable but the quality of the service is unmatched and the staff is friendly and easy going.

I went about 3 weeks ago and Jetara was amazing and so patient. She was very informative with the laser hair removal. She explained the recommendation what I should be using such as hard wax or sugar wax. Definitely recommend this place and the technician!

I wanted to try and let corporate know before I wrote a public review anywhere else, but I could not find the direct customer service contact information. Ive always had a decent experience with the Austin location. However, my recent encounter with my regular esthetician Jetara was rude and unprofessional. For the sake of her job, she appears to be nice, but each time I have encountered her Ive had to match her aggressive energy and walk on eggshells, I never knew how to take her. At my appointment today, it was obvious that she was very agitated and frustrated from the moment I spoke to her. I was doing my best to make small talk and make the conversation between us light, but from her body language and dry responses, I gathered that she wanted to be left alone to get the job done and I understood so I remained quiet during my appointment. I usually tip Jetara, but there are very few times when I cant. This time, I did not tip her based off of my experience and as well as me not being able to. When I left she stopped me in the parking lot and tried to explain to me in a condescending way, that since me and my friends (other clients) dont tip her, she was going to refer us to someone else that was okay with not getting tipped. She also tried to make it seem like she understood that people cannot always tip, however deep down she seemed pretty upset. I tip her often, so its not like I dont tip or disregard to pay at all. I was so shocked and so offended but I dont want to let this experience with one employee stop me from continuing to do business with Relax & Wax. But she was very rude and rubbed me the wrong way today and her customer service skills were not worthy of a tip.

This was the place I went to for my very first brazilian wax ever and I was extremely nervous but the technician I had, Jetara, made me feel extremely comfortable and talked me through the nerves. The workers here are extremely respectful conversational and make you feel safe! I found it on Groupon and Im so glad I checked it out because Ive been coming here for almost 6 months and its a great experience each time!

Ive been sugaring for years and this was the most painful sugaring session that Ive ever experienced. It was excruciating. I dont normally find sugaring or waxing painful at all. The technician had an extremely rough touch. Also when I came home I discovered that I had tons of hair left over which was also a first for me. :(

I was recommended this facility because my friend had been to this chain in the Houston area, so I thought it would be worth a try. After my first session I chose to try another waxing service to see if the experience was any better. I’m saddened to say it was 100x better; which is unfortunate because the prices at this location are the best in the area. I couldn’t even finish my first Brazilian here because the wax was way too hot and the lady was passive aggressive. I honestly thought I was the problem untill I went to Just Jill beauty and was shown otherwise. Just thought I would give my honest opinion for others that may get discouraged.

I saw there weren’t many google reviews so I wanted to write one because I LOVED my experience here! I got my first Brazilian done and I forgot the name of the lady who did it but she was so nice! Honestly, I was nervous because someone is all up in your V but she talked to me about other stuff and made me feel so comfortable. It didn’t hurt either, I think getting my upper lip (on my face) waxed hurts more. 10/10 would recommend. I’m definitely coming back after I grow out too!
