We recently purchased a home from M/I and had a wonderful experience from beginning of the project to closing. Our sales rep was fantastic, well informed, and very kind. (Hannah Martin) And our build manager (Scott Richter) was amazing. He kept us well informed during the entire process and was very quick to respond to the few questions I had along the way. He made sure every detail was perfect and we truly appreciate all his effort. I plan to live in this house until I die, but if I ever built again it would most definitely be with M/I homes. 10/10 do recommend.

This is one horrible house maker I could tell you for sure. I have experienced Highland homes, David Weekley and other house builders for my friends and distant families. But none of those are as irresponsible as that of MI homes warranty guys.First they never respond to requests submitted on website for warranty for months. Then some guy comes and checks the things and does not tell when things get repaired.Then half of the requests are ignored saying non-issue.Rest of the work gets scheduled for a few weeks later. Meanwhile you keep living with non-working conditions of things.This doesnt stop there. Their customer rep marks the request completed though the work items dont get completed.The agent who comes to check and fix things notes down things to repair but never enters into their system so you cannot even claim that there was a few repairs.Latest experience is, they delayed my request of faulty Bathtub repairs by saying due to covid-19 we are not able to get contractor here ... this gets delayed and then the 1 year after that the guy who made that commitment to repair moves out of MI HOMES and new guy says I dont know any such pending repairs.Their customer rep Christina does not talk empathetically but rather sound rude.Their workman guy Chris Watson left the company without handing over the requests to next guys and MI HOMES simply dont care for that.I moved into house 2019 and now after 26 months I still have many maintenance issues pending.DO NOT FALL FOR THIS TRAP ... BUY SOME OTHER BUILDERS HOUSE

Continuous issues with Construction Manager and contractors showing up to complete warranty issues or even being remotely on the same page . We have had continuous no call, no shows to get warranty items completed. Sales staff was amazing, service after the sale a HUGE disappointment!

I’m really impressed with M/I Homes, as a Realtor and designer. The homes are solidly and nicely built, keep up with today’s trends while maintaining classic styling, and Level 1 standard features are nicer than typical builder grade materials.Great people, too. From the Sales Team, Lenders and Designers, it’s been a great experience for me and my clients!

Good company but Brian Goclan(Director of purchasing) is the demise of its future. Brian Goclan is lacking leadership skills and the mental stability to help M/I succeed.

Builder doesnt honor paying real estate agents after registering buyer. VP Craig Conner called and tried to explain why he cut our agent out of the deal. Asked if we had a buyer rep agreement.. shocking business practice
