This company is a joke. I NEVER leave reviews because theyre not worth my time, but they have refused services over and over again that all FOUR of my sons mental health providers have recommended. They handle our health plans mental health services and thanks to them were looking to change plans because our workers have all advised us that they are difficult to work with and that other providers will approve the needed services that they dont. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Good luck getting needed services if you chose them!!!
By far the worst managed care organization Ive ever dealt with. From poorly trained customer service reps. to unprofessional provider network specialists. From a provider perspective, contracting with them should only be out of complete necessity to build your patient population. They will find any reason to deny claims and authorization requests. They represent everything that is wrong with managed care in this country.
Will not pay my provider, so my provider had to stop seeing me. They insist that the provider mail medical records through the post to them, and wont accept faxed or emailed medical records. After sending the records via post three times, and calling to check up, Cenpatico stonewalled them -- left on hold for 2 hours multiple times, and then told there was no number or person with which they could speak. Like not just out of the office, but no person at the company at all. Terrible -- Ambetter should not deal with Cenpatico any more, as no one should until they get their act together.
