Started with awesome bacon tasters. The sandwiches were large and tasty. The house made pastrami was excellent. I here breakfast sandwichs on the weekends are coming. The only issue you will have is trying to find the place. Dont park off 2222, in the front. Go to the back off 56th st. and park next to the loading dock.

Bacon is one of my favorite foods and this place has some of the best Ive tried! The bacon is dry cured (which means less sugar in the meat) and you can really taste the good quality. My family and I also love the bacon/nuts mix and the spiced pretzels for snacks. The sandwiches and salads are delicious and very large-portioned, and you can also buy slices of ham to make your own sandwiches at home. Plus, the owner Jerry is very, very nice and takes a lot of pride in his products, and you can feel good about supporting a local business that has been part of the Austin community for years. The hours are a bit limited (Tuesday through Saturday 11:00am to 2:00pm) but Jerry is great about having your order ready for a quick pickup if you text him ahead of time.

This gem is amazing! It is a must try. The Rueben is fantastic. I can’t figure which I like the best. I will order the bacon next visit. Drop by for some amazing meats.
