Definitely come here for your mammogram needs!There are two doors when you arrive, so make sure you chose the one on the left to check in for your mammogram.  When you walk in, all you will see is a hallway, but just walk a short distance and the check in will be on your left.I found checking in to be very easy, and the women at the desk to be very friendly.I waited a very short time before I was taken to the scanning room. I was given time to undress in there (no changing rooms), and my mammogram began.It was an easy process; I was treated with kindness and respect.I will definitely return here for my next mammogram. Its nice to be at a place that isnt a general x-ray/radiology business.

I cant say enough great things about my experience here. All the staff were highly professional, friendly, and provided highest quality of care. I received an attentive warm attitude of staff and doctors, and exellent and quick exam review with a detailed explanation.Thanks everyone. See you next year!

I recieved an invoice via mail for $55, written 3/18/2021, mid April for an US taken in December. Rose imaging turned the bill over to collections before I had the opportunity to pay and I began receiving phone calls about an outstanding medical debt today (5/4/2021).I was never contacted about my bill by the imaging practice, I was not sent any notices of outstanding balance before the invoice arrived, or given any notice this bill was sent to collections in the past 3(!) weeks. After this experience I will not be using them again, I would appreciate a provider with a little more patience and grace.

I really love coming here each year for my contrast imaging mammogram! The staff is so professional and friendly. The decor is just lovely and very clean!

They over charged me, then never called me back for 2 months. When I said I needed to both give a complaint about the office manager, Denise, and speak with the doctor about my results, I then NEVER received a call back from the doctor although I called multiple times to ask about my care. They eventually cancelled a bill because I kept calling and said I would report them for negligence. Doctor has still never called me back to talk about my exam, because I had additional questions, like most people do after they leave a doctors appointment. I am concerned about being able to get my records sent to my new doctor, when it’s time for my next check up. I’ve never had to deal what I dealt with at this doctors office.

For my first experience this was definitely the place to go. The staff is nice and helpful, the scenery was comfortable clean and didnt have me sitting for a long period. Staff was gentle ..Dr.Winston was awesome she was professional and her presence was comforting which was a plus. I am a self pay patient and fees are very reasonable. Will definitely be making this my yearly mammogram stop.Thanks to all the staff.

My OBGYN referred me to Austin Breast Imaging to diagnose a lump felt during my annual exam. The office is tastefully decorated, and my imaging technician was kind. However, Dr. Winston did not give me the time of day when discussing my results. She rushed into the room, basically said breasts change all the time and are more tender at different points of the cycle, that I had nothing to worry about and started to leave. (The whole exchange took about a minute). I had to ask for her to stay to discuss my results further; I still feel like I did not get enough time to fully understand the test and my results. Lastly, I received an unexpected bill from ABI. I know my insurance comes into play here as well, but it makes me so frustrated to not know how much I am going to have to pay for a procedure.

Very easy to make an appointment, they called me within hours of my doctor’s appointment at which the referral was placed. My doctor at Texas Oncology spoke very highly of them and explained that all they do is breast imaging and that the radiologist provides you with your results after your procedure so there’s no waiting for a phone call or for the results to be sent to your doctor. Same day results is unheard of in radiology so that’s a huge plus.The building is located just off Mopac and is easy to get to. Ample parking in the back of the building and a very clean and nice building as well as office. Front desk staff is very nice and check in takes just a few minutes- I only had 2 papers to sign, both were pre-filled with my name, address & insurance information. Wait was less than 5 minutes. Second waiting room is where you’re given a locker with key for your things and change into a gown. Less than 5 min wait from there to see the technician.Mammogram was quick and painless, my first ever, it took another 5 min. My technician’s name was Lisa and she was extremely kind and knew what she was doing. I had to follow up with an ultrasound but if you’re only doing a mammogram, it’s a quick and painless process. They have it all down to a T, from the time you walk in until you leave. After my ultrasound the doctor came in and discussed my results, she was super sweet and thorough. All employees are female, so it is a trauma friendly environment which is super important to me personally.In the time I was there, at least 4 patients were checked in, had their mammograms and were on their way. I highly recommend Austin Breast Imaging and wish more medical offices were as organized and the medical staff as competent as this one. A great example of how a medical practice should function.

I had my mammogram done at Austin Breast Imaging. The office is clean and beautiful. The staff are friendly and professional. Most importantly, this place produced the highest quality breast images I’ve ever seen in my life (I am a healthcare provider also). I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and patients.👍

What a great place to have a mammogram, ultrasound and bone density test! All the people I interacted with were exceptionally excellent! I left there with full confidence that everything was just fine. I cant believe how much easier this mammogram and ultrasound were compared to where I used to go. Im actually looking forward to next year! Its a spa like atmosphere. I have never left a place after having a mammogram happy until now! I cant say enough great things about this place and the people!

WOWWWW! What a fabulous experience. I went for a diagnostic appointment and from the minute I walked in it is decorated so beautifully and makes you feel so relaxed with the Zen music. It felt like I was in a spa. The office staff from the girls at the front desk to the technicians and Radiologist were just so awesome. I cannot say enough about this office. I will without a doubt be using them for all my imaging needs. Thank you Austin Breast Imaging for such a beautiful positive experience! 5 + stars!! :)

I had two biopsys done, I was terrified but the atmosphere and the staff are so wonderful it was actually a pleasant experience. Lisa the nurse was so comforting and Dr. Plaxco so professional and nice. State of the art equipment. This facility is the best medical experience I have ever had. I highly recommend this facility and staff. The white and turquoise decor and relaxing spa music just puts you in the best relaxed mood.

They over charged me over by around $350.00 and are giving me the run around to get my refund. It’s been a horrible experience.

Finally, a physician explanation so beautifully presented instead of a letter stating the findings of my exam using medical language unfamiliar to me. I appreciated the explanation and felt the doctor was talking directly to me. My experience at Austin Breast Imaging went way beyond my expectations: a beautiful, serene and relaxing spa like atmosphere imbued with a gentle consideration of a womans anxiousness. The kindness and gentleness of Lisa, the technician, was outstanding and rare. I have had many annual exams over the years but never as pleasant as this.

I always have a pleasant experience there......so much so that I hate to leave. The office is decorated and accessorized to provide a serene & calming environment. Lisa is my favorite tech and I got to meet Monica last week (Operations Mgr. & decorator) and she is awesome.

In addition to having a very caring and respectful staff, the setting of this place will make you feel at home.The carefully chosen colors, music, furniture, decor, and refreshments will help you relax. They give attention to all the details, even to the fabric on the gowns and the nice thick robes that keep you warm.You will feel very comfortable in this office with women caring for women.

I would highly recommend Austin Breast Imaging. I had my first mammogram and different biopsies in both breasts. I was stressed and anxious, because of each one of them, my experience was so much easier than I expected. The front desk, the Dr, the sonographer and the mammographer are all compassionate, warm, caring people who do everything they can to be kind, understanding, and reassuring. Im glad I chose to come to this office, they are wonderful.

If you like poor management and unethical billing practices, this is the place for you. Any “good” service at my appointment was far outweighed by the complete unresponsiveness in customer service.I received an outrageous, surprise bill FOUR months after my exam. After calling them out on their attempt at insurance fraud, I received a revised outrageous bill but still NO response to any of my questions or concerns regarding their service or billing practices.I sent a second letter, again without any verbal or written response. If you care about your health or your money, stay away from this horrendous business. They have no idea how to manage a business or provide even basic customer care. If they can’t handle those basic items, I have no idea how they’d find cancer in your breasts.

Extremely disappointed with this facility. I was never told in advance of any estimated out of pocket exams. Four months after my exam, I received a bill for $1300. I wrote to them to dispute the bill and let them how how completely negligent it is and horrendous service on top of that, not to notify someone in advance that they might need to pay so much. I requested a resolution from them in my letter but never heard from them. Instead a month later, I receive another bill for a lesser amount (this time they had at least acknowledged my insurance discount that I had to point out to them). It seems like they have very unethical billing practices and I highly discourage other people from using this negligent practice. I will never go back to you and luckily I work in healthcare, so I can tell a lot of people just that I work with, to never go there.

A great place to get your tests done and a great business to work with in every way.The staff is extremely caring. I went to the office for a mammo and further tests and I was taken care of so very well.Even after all my tests were completed and I had some questions with the billing dept, the director of operations Ms. Monica took great care to personally help me through the entire process till my problem was solved.As a patient, she wanted me to rest and not worry about anything. This is great customer service.Thank You

Complications from biopsy that appear to be from too much Lidocaine

The technicians and doctors were wonderful. Unfortunately the same does not apply to the receptionists. Amanda was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable for asking questions about the forms. She proceeded to slide the glass window closed and trash talked us to her coworkers. The glass is not sound proof.

They resolved my issue! whew! :)

This is an exceeds your expectations amazing medical facility because they have accomplished the impossible, PERFECTION! Yes, its true, they have, and I know because I have been to quite a number of these kinds of medical scenarios in 8 states over a lifetime of imaging exams for 45+ years! The exceptionally remarkable ABI team that I have met and/or spoken with over the phone, each and every one of them, have beautiful souls that emanate kind, caring, gentle demeanors accompanied by confident clear communications and excellently executed expertise! My experience at ABI was unlike any other imaging experience I have ever had. I am an oncology rehab therapist and therefore have had a lot of experience with imaging centers both personally and professionally. The center is beautiful with a spa-like atmosphere. Getting a mammogram can be extremely stressful. However, the environment at ABI was calming and I truly felt taken care of. The staff is kind, empathetic and highly skilled. The radiologist Dr. Winston reviewed my imaging while I was there and came out and spoke with me personally about the image findings. She took her time answering all of my question. To have your results given to you while you wait, immediately after your mammogram is rare and incredible. I cannot say enough about the quality of care and service I received at ABI. I will never get imaging anywhere else and will tell all of my patients about this wonderful center.

Amazing!!!! I have previously went to ARA in the past, worst experience. ABI is like going to a resort spa. Really spa mammogram!!!. I will recommend ABI to all my friends.
