We have been buying from this company for a long time no issues. Our customer decided to validate the prices we have her. This by calling the company to verify prices. The man that answered was extremely rude saying he cant help my client. I figured no this company has been great never an issue even delivered. So I called explained im the contractor for the job could he please place and order for 7 pallets. He said he cannot help me and said I cant sell you anything we cant sell to you anymore. Then he even asked my company name and then hung up on me. Just like he did my client said he dud her.I have used this company for the same client in other homes she owns. We didnt use profanity or were we rude. Now I have to find another company to trust after all this years.I explained to my employees the delay on this job. That we are not welcomed to buy at Austin Turf anymore. I explained what happen to all my managers of each group.My client she ordered from some out of state place now.Several of my employees said maybe its because im a woman and client that called too. If she was rude to him he still didnt have to treat me like that. Even when i explained who I was and how much I liked their company. After all I own several lawn care, landscaping companies through out Austin Round Rock Lakeway Pflugerville.

Their grass is worth it! The quality of it was just amazing. We got the St. Augustine grass and it was just beautiful, it was already catching within 2 weeks.Yes i was able to find cheaper grass (saved $30) but it wasnt worth it. I will always come here for my grass!

Ive bought sod here three times, it all took, and was healthy. The place isnt fancy, its a sod yard, not a nursery. The women who helped me twice was straight forward, no problem. I talked to a man this most recent time, he explained how they do things, again straight forward, no problem. He held half a pallet for me, told when to pick it, it was there, and looked good. The guy working the fork lift loading the sod made sure the load was centered over the wheels, had us loaded and on our way in just a few minutes.

Minimum delivery required. 8 pallets to certain parts of town. I received a call from Austin grass about my review. The person on the phone was not happy about the review. He explained why he could only deliver a minimum, he is down 2 drivers. Which he said was none of my business. But if he had told me that I would have understood. Which would have been helpful when I first called. He Informed me that I should never buy grass from them again... I have been buying grass from them over the years the have great prices and never had a problem with them. Up till this time. I was not important enough for him to give me an explanation of why he could not deliver 4 pallets, at first he had told my wife they did not deliver, that we had to pick up.when I called he said the minimum was 8 pallets to deliver to downtown. And that he had told my wife that. till I added the review, then all o a sudden Im important enough to get a call back.

They have grass when others dont! Had an order with another company, but got a call last second that they wouldnt have the grass to deliver. No other grass company could get any at all. Even though they are a bit far from me, I called Austin Turf Grass, picked up two pallets, easily done. Needed more, they obviously accommodated, even though everyone else was still without grass.I can see why people might say customer service is not perfect, but theyre just too sensitive. One lady is just busy and to the point over the phone, extremely nice in person. Everyone there is really nice, I completely recommend doing business with them!

These folks have a horrible attitude. I bought 34 pieces of sod from them and after driving home I called to ask whether I could buy the rest of the pallet and pay the full pallet price (much cheaper rate per piece). The office manager (woman) said No, you should have asked for a whole pallet when you were here. I tried to explain to the woman that she would not be losing anything by doing this and would create a loyal customer. She said, I dont need you to tell me how to run my business, and suggested that I buy my grass at Home Depot. In my opinion, there was NO reason for the way she spoke to me.

The broken, disregarded signage leading to this business should have alerted me to what I was about to get into. Nonetheless, I proceeded to Austin Turf Grass to complete my home landscaping project. Upon arrival, the male, working outside continued to kick up dust moving palates around, pretending as if he did not know anyone had arrived. Even when I exited my vehicle he continued on, not once acknowledging my presence. I proceed into an unkempt, unmarked double wide trailer assuming this was where I needed to go for assistance. Once inside I was met with yet another disinterested employee and instructed to grab what I need and let her know how many pieces I had before leaving. I proceed as Instructed, move my vehicle to a grouping of palates and begin to load up. The worker on the heavy machine comes close to me and I can feel the machinery vibrating near me and look up to see his lips moving, but I am hard of hearing and can not make out what he is saying I motion to my ears and he tells and points to another group of palates of grass. I make that out to mean I need to move over there where he is pointing. I place the few pieces back and he returns to moving palates and throwing dust all around yet again.The back of my vehicle is nearly half full when the forklift worker comes again this time seeming angry with me yelling the told me to get grass from another area. I simply reply you pointed here when I was at the only other grouping of palates. He rolled his eyes and proceeded to ask if i was sure I wanted to get it from here. At this point I am not certain but I have all but a few pieces that I need at this point and refrain from interacting further with this individual and proceed inside. I disclose how many pieces I have and finally get their pricing to discover not only have I had the worst customer service in my life but their pricing is inflated at least 15% over home depot for the same product.Go anywhere but here unless you like to overpay for being ignored, yelled at and covered in dust.

Their grass is fairly good quality. And if you need a couple of pallets to finish up a job their price is very good and almost always have some extra in the morning

Soooooo sad .Wanted 3 pallets of permuda grass for my back yard, the guy installing the grass gave their number to place order, I called at his presence and placed an order for pick up the next morning, the guy took my order said will be ready after 7:30 AmSo I paid a guy to pick it up, after my guy got their, he called me and said it’s not ready, and my order was for San Agustin Grass.I asked for the sales man, he start acting rude, saying I placed order for delivery and will be tomorrow, and I said as Agustin,What a crab.I told hem I know what I want and what I orderedHe insist that he was there when I placed the order...So I said no problem when can you get it for me,Guess what is his answer, he suggested I buy it some where else......I said I already waited a day so can you get it for me tomorrow???He said I don’t know !!!!!!Ok are going to call me tomorrow or should I call you to confirm?He said go buy it somewhere else and hung up on meWhat a sad experience.....I hope he was not the owner .....If he is an employee, I feel sorry for the owner ....He just lost a 500 dollars sale to grass outlet...A very professional and polite sales woman.Stay away and don’t waste your time

Youd think they have a monopoly on sod the way they treat customers.

I only needed about ten pieces of sod. They pointed me to a stack of damaged pieces. I looked them over and told them they were unacceptable. The guy inside was very unpleasant.
