Horrible experience. I walked up to my home and there was a box full of trash and other boxes sitting outside of my door. Once I entered my home I instantly noticed every single light left on in my home. In addition, I reached out to the contact number via text to let them know my frustrations and Amy’s response was that I didn’t inform them where the dumpster is. Keep in mind, I received a text earlier in the day while they were in my home cleaning, asking if I told the ladies to clean out my refrigerator and oven for an additional cost ($100 extra). Which I did not ask the ladies to do that and had no way of asking them since I was at work and they were in my home. With that being said, I’m not sure why they can reach out to add additional services but not reach out to confirm information to complete services included.Amy was only able to communicate with me via text and wasn’t professional. I waited over an hour for a call to discuss the matter and she would only communicate via text, until I posted this review. Even then. She hung up on me and then charged me full price.Please view attached photos.

Modern Maids has topped my expectations for several months now. I have them come clean my house bi-weekly on Wednesdays and its hands down my favorite day of the week. You can tell they take pride in the work. I consider them to be the best maid service in Austin.

I found this cleaning company on Google and booked them for a deep house cleaning before a party at my house. I have never had a professional maid service and I was so impressed. I used Modern Maids for a deep cleaning of my home on Saturday after we had a small gathering on Thanksgiving. I was so impressed with the quality they provided and the friendly staff they had at the office that were available for any questions I had. They cleaned areas that I did not know even needed cleaning, which showed me they really knew what they were doing. I’ll definitely be calling Modern Maids again during Christmas time. Thanks again!

Very unfortunate that I have to write this kind of review about a small business but the service I received was so poor that it needed to be mentioned for people to make a informed decision.I had got a house and I scheduled Moving cleaning with Modern Maids. I can tell you from my experience that I didnt find any difference in my house before and after the cleaning. Attaching pictures to tell how they left my dishwasher and refrigerator. You can see for yourself. I saw so many small things which were not paid attention to.I reached out to the company since they claim to make it right. Well, here too, the company had absolutely no empathy. I gave them multiple opportunities. Problem also was that there was absolutely little communication .They couldnt care less. After I followed up twice over a months period, they just carelessly gave 50$ credit.Will not go to this company again.Update after seeing Modern Maids response to the review above:Short version : I am surprised to see the company twisting the version of events. I guess this company can say the text messages and bank statements lie.I dont want to get into war of words but since the purpose of a review is to make sure other people make informed choice, I would absolutely recommend NOT to use this company/service based on my experience.Long version:Let me also put the timeline that I observed.March 5 2021 - The company perfoms Move-in cleaning.March 30 2021- I contact the company that they have done a poor job. This is my mistake too, since I contacted them after 25 days ( I hadnt moved into the house by then ). I wasked asked to provide the pictures I have taken. I provide them almost immediately. (same as the ones posted in the review).No communication/ radio silence for 2 weeks.April 13 2021 - I ask if there is anything that they have/would like to do to rectify their mistake. I am told we can give you credit or come out again, but our schedule is tight, so might as well take the credit. I say OK to credit.No communication/ radio silence for 3 weeks. Note that the money is not refunded at all during this time contrary to what the company claimed in their response.May 3 2021 - I text again, to ask if there is any update ? I get a text saying that they gave me $50 credit.Credit received.May 6 2021 - I texted to ask : How did you calculate the refund amount?Today is May 26 2021 - I have still not received a response to my text 3 weeks later.Please choose wisely.

I keep my house fairly clean, but recently I got busier with work than normal. I called Modern Maids to come help pick up the house before it got too out of control. They did a professional job from start to finish. Friendly office and friendly staff that worked from the time they arrived to the time they left.

We use modern maids for our deep move out cleans. We have used them on many properties and are always satisfied. They are always prompt and on time. If there is every a discrepancy, they don’t even argue. They go right back out but we hardly have to call them back! Justin & his team are awesome!! I have used them for work and personal!
