Amazing staff, amazing atmosphere! 10/10 would recommended if you’re in Austin and wondering where to go, this is the place.
Front desk guy has some serious snark. Not into it. At all. This is a good stand in when I can’t get into Love Cycling, but the attitude from that guy simply because I was wrapping up a business call instead of giving him my undivided attention as I came in left a bad taste in my mouth. We’re all doing out best in the pandemic, it’s hard to even fit a work out in, so please, save the negativity for someone else, not paying customers. We’re coming to workout for a POSITIVE experience.
Seriously one of the funnest workout classes in Austin. All the instructors are friendly and like to have a great time while riding. Bring water, get ready to sweat, and burn at least 300-400 calories per class.Love classes with Mark and Tasha specifically but everyone has their favorites.
My least favorite in town unfortunately. A little boring.
I have been going to ride for almost 3 years now. I try to go at least once a month because I prefer lifting. But RIDE is something I always want to fit into my workout routine. I am very picky on instructors and I love Sandys class. She is so much more than just a fitness instructor. She truly makes the ride an experience and almost a therapy experience. The studio is always clean and staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly suggest checking RIDE out if your looking for something new or switching up your workout routine.
The employees were super welcoming and had excellent customer service - however, I would recommend that you come in with some cycling experience. Class is super fun, just would take a couple classes to get the hang of it, so I wouldnt say its beginner friendly. Overall though, lots of fun!
Good workout & good safety protocols.
Join me, cowards!Im a woman who is...not 22...and somewhat short of breath and awkward of body. I found the thought of spin class fairly terrifying. Boy am I happy to have found RIDE. Not only are there dark corners to hide in, but a bunch of super friendly, no-judgement staff! It goes surprisingly fast and when you are done you feel great. I would particularly like to recommend Sandy, who is not only the hottest woman on the planet, but full of kind motivation and advice and someone that will truly get you through a workout with flying colors, no matter what your fitness level.
Can remember my very first class at RIDE - Allie (Z) was one of the most kind and welcoming people Ive ever met. She probably spent 20 minutes chatting with me after class and encouraged me to come back. #MarkAfterDark bring me the humor/ratchet flare I always need after a long day work. I brought in my 26th birthday & 100th ride on the podium in Marks class. Whenever my best friend visits me in Austin for the weekend, we never miss a HipHop Saturday on the side bar.I started taking Ryans 4:45 class on Thursdays over a year ago and I dont think Ive missed a Thursday with him since Ive started. The empowerment, liberation, and energy he brings to the podium has been imperative in making RIDE my 2nd home. I could go on and on about these instructors, in addition to the desk staff + entire RIDE community. Every instructors at RIDE deserves recognition but for the sake of time, I want to say thank you for getting up and doing what you do each and everyday. Your impact on my life has been transformative and compelling.
Ride Austin...Youre the truth. I was there a couple months ago for a conference and had to get my spin fix. Im so happy I found you. I took two classes while I was in Austin and bother were amazing. David was amazing!!! Great way to start my day with an AM kick my butt spin class!
I havent been to Soul Cycle in Austin yet, but this is my favorite rhythmic, cycling class in Austin so far. Studios are streamlined, clean, organized, and well managed. Instructors are upbeat and motivating without being obnoxious. Theyre obviously experienced. Amazing full body workout. Music is on point.
Ive been going to RIDE now for a year and can confidently say I looove it. Everyone there is so nice which makes for such a loving, supportive community. They seriously swept the Austin Fit Awards, for good reason. Im usually in Alana, Mark or Tashas classes because their times work with my schedule and I just love they have a 7:45pm class because Im such a night owl that even 12pm classes sometimes feel too early. Love how it feels like a total party!! One of the first biggest things that drew me to it was the parking. I can park right across the street and get it validated for two (!!) hours... Downtown feel without that crazy mad dash for downtown parking right before class
Simply the best workout for the time and money invested! I was encouraged to try Ride by my wife. I balked a bit a t the idea because my workouts consisted of wandering around the gym, lifting some weights and treadmill / cardio. Why would I just want to go pedal a stationary bike?? However, I tried Ride after enough prodding. My first time was a little crazy and awkward but we got to half-way point and took a break to stretch - Another 20-25 minutes and we will be done, I rationalized. Except, there ISNT a stretch break - it had been over 45 minutes and we were done! My clothes were soaked, I could barely stand, but it went FAST and was FUN! It wasnt just riding a bike, it was anything but that! I had been spending 45 minutes on a treadmill to get a little sweaty, another 1/2 hour to lift some weights and thats about it up until this. This changed the game for me! I am now well into Ride and love the energy and all of the great instructors, especially Caprice!, Tara, Carly, Todd and Alana (I see them the most!) - but have NEVER had a bad experience. These are great people with a great program! (Did I mention Im also down about 30 lbs?)
Tasha kicked my ass!As an experienced rider, but not super crazy like hitting top 10 on a leader board - but experienced, I got one of the best work outs. I would not have to think twice about coming back to Tashas class. Killer, thank you!!!
This place is unlike any other spin class! As an avid spin-class attendee, I was overwhelmed by how fun this class was! It basically feels like you are at a dance party on a bike. The classes have amazing music, incorporate toning/weights, and will make you feel like a rockstar.Tip - your first class is free so give it a try (just dont steal my spot).
Great classes but parking is difficult and the studio is always packed.
Just took my first ride class at the new Hill Countey Galleria. It was an awesome workout and my instructor, Ali was fantastic. She really knows how to keep you motivated and working hard throughout the class. I think this is my new favorite workout! Highly recommend.
Great sweat, and cardio. This indoor cycling studio is one of my top 3 in Austin. Capris, Alana and Mike are great upbeat instructors! Clean studio, and they give you nice aromatic cold towels after each class 👌🏻
This RIDE will kick your bootie into shape and youll love it. Worth the $20. Youll be dripping with sweat, rocking to some great music. Definitely recommend this place compared to other local indoor spin classes.
LOVE the classes and instructors! I always get a great workout in :)
RIDE Indoor Cycling generously donated 5 free class passes to the Side by Side Kids 2017 Topgolf Fundraiser. This donation is a huge value for East Austin students! Due to their dedication to the Austin community and superior products/services, Side by Side Kids strongly recommends RIDE Indoor Cycling.
Super high-quality instructors, and a really good vibe could make Ride one of the best spin studios in Austin. Its huge downfall, however, is their space. Despite what they may say on their website, they dont really have locker rooms or showers. The womens bathroom has a single toilet stall, and a single shower, which often floods the entire bathroom. Obviously this makes it sort of impossible to take a shower--or even change--quickly after a large class lets out. This is a huge inconvenience, especially since theyre right downtown--since presumably most people would be headed from class straight into work after their morning classes. I basically gave up and use my offices showers at this point. The contrast between Rides shower experience and the price and vibe upfront is just so stark, its bizarre. Hopefully theyll find the space/time/money for a remodel soon! So basically: great place, great instructors, but only go if youre ok with the worlds saddest gym shower situation!
The teachers are great and the classes are great. The only reason it doesnt get five stars is because for some reason, they believe that the classes have to have the stereo so loud that it blows your eardrums out. Even with earplugs. I have tinnitus is in my left ear and can no longer go to the studio because even with earplugs my ears are ringing after these classes.
❌❌❌ horrible Studio. They are banned them blocked from the number one Instagram site @indoorcycling ❌❌❌
Love this place so much! Please open one west/northwest - 360 near 183 would be perfect :)
Ride indoor is always clean and all the staff is amazing. All the instructors are awsome.
Im a regular here at Ride, its my therapy! You cant beat the location and the classes are always amazing. Best spin studio in Austin.
