I do NOT recommend them. Was quoted for both top and bottom windows in my bedroom to be replaced and only one was replaced because apparently that’s what they had initially quoted me for which was not true. The technician came and measured and asked me if all of it was being replaced because clearly both were broken. Why would I want 1/2 my window replaced if both are broken. I called twice for a receipt before they even came they never sent it the first time. The customer service was awful and they should have done what they quoted me for. Also was just installed today and the edge is coming off.

Glass Doctor is awesome! Theyre super responsive, quick to schedule, follow up promptly, were early! and did a fantastic job! They were even able to reapply the window film I had on the original window which I thought I would have to trash (this is why the window looks filmy and bubbly in the fixed pictures)! They cleaned up too, you couldnt even tell they were here! So amazing, quick and professional. I would definitely recommend them!

Glass Doctor is as good as it gets! We had this cracked window pane for God knows how long (cus it’s been blocked from view by the blind). I called this morning to see about having a sales representative come out and submit a proposal for replacing the glass panes on all the windows of my mid-1980s home. After speaking to the phone representative about my needs, I was informed there would be a $125 service fee just to have someone come out and take a look. When I balked at paying such a high price just to have someone give me a quote (I could understand maybe $35 to pay for the sales reps gas and time); they told me I could apply the service fee cost against their proposal amount. None of their competitors in the Austin area are charging any fee (or a very small one) for providing a proposal. Im always hesitant of doing business with a company who would demand such a large sum up front and then justify it with saying well, youll get it back IF you use us. Sorry, but thats not a good way to do business or build customer confidence. Hope this policy changes and wanted to make other potential customers aware of this ahead of time.

The grandchildren accidentally broke a glass pane on a back door. Glass Doctor recommended tempered glass since it is in a high traffic area with three active grandchildren 10 and under.It was very reasonable and looked fantastic when the job was done. The technician was at the top of his game. I am extremely satisfied with the repair.

Worst experience! We hired them to replace glass panes in our living room and dining room and we were left with busted up window frames, broken glass all over our deck, living room and dining room, and windows installed upside down. They have come out about 4 time to try and fix the mess and were unable to. The manager Karen does not respond to emails and has an excuse for everything (“you should of signed a waver, our guys can’t do wood work, hmm that’s unlike our technician..”). How they stay in business is beyond me.

Had a guy come in to give me a quote on a few jobs and send me measurements for a piece of glass we needed to order. They did send me a quote... but for just 1 of the items I requested a quote for. I got a follow up call about if I was ready to move forward and asked where the quote for everything else was and for the measurements. Had no idea what I was talking about. Called in today and still no response.They act like they know what they’re doing, but this seems like a big company that manages branches all across different locations. If you inquire about a local level job, you have to talk to an upper management person who doesn’t actually care about following through on the local level because they’re not directly attached to it.Glass doctors, if you see this soon, please don’t bother sending me the rest of the quote.

Both the office personnel and the technician were professional and thorough. They installed a half wall, from the ceiling 4’ down to the lower 4’ half wall, 15’ long. Three separate pieces of tempered glass were required. In addition, the ceiling and walls were not perpendicular. The technician factored these aberrations into account, completed all the work timely, and materials and labor were reasonably priced. I strongly endorse and recommend Glass Doctor.

I had a window that my son broke one of the panes. I didnt want to replace the entire window which would cost me $800 plus dollars and a huge installation mess. I just needed one side repaired. If they wouldve stated they would credit me the install fee if I look at other doors that wouldve been fine, but that wasnt an option I received. Again, thank you for your quick response in the matter.I reached out to Glass Doctor for an estimate for my shower doors. I had recently remodeled the bathroom and the new tile was thicker than my previous one. I had two employees come by who measured my previous shower door and panels, and stated that they would be able to reinstall as they would just need to trim it down a little. Great.Come day of installation with two separate employees - they were not able to do so. The door doesnt close and they say I need a new door. I advised that that is why I had the previous guys come in to make sure but they stated that they wouldnt have been able to know that unless they installed it so they shouldnt have told me it could be reinstalled, more like they would try and reinstall would be better terminology. $300 later since they did do something I have a shower door that doesnt close and was offered a quote for them to replace everything. Hard pass as I cant trust this company.

Glass Doctor repaired a China hutch glass door I accidentally cracked while refinishing it. I didnt have much hope It could be fixed because the glass was imbeded during the original manufacturing. But, somehow the repairman found a way and it iis awesome! I am so happy. They charged me a very reasonable price which was a very nice thing to do. Id have paid double!🥰

Overall a good experience with replacing a window pane in a wood frame. They were professional and responsive. The replacement window was slightly too small, but the installer added caulk to make it look acceptable.
