During this pandemic, Owner of Lux Haus, LeeAnn Biffle, refused to consider any sort of accommodation of credit/transfer of stay as strict travel restrictions fell upon us again, two days before travel to Austin. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!The property building itself is very nice and unit is very clean, staff at The Catherine building are really great, especially front desk and bar. Overall location good... Very disappointed however about the customer service while raising feedback and a complaint so soon after departure. As a guest youd not be satisfied for the plumbing to be so poor in a property, during the day and especially night.Every time the toilet flushed the pipes made a horrendous and loud noise for 5/6 minutes... So unless you can hold your bladder through the night, your sleep is disturbed.When I called after the trip, deliberately so because my wife and I did not want any maintenance coming into the unit during our stay, I was accused of not raising issues earlier during the stay and even blackmailing as a customer. We simply requested however, that The Lux Haus could restore our faith in the future as frequent travelers! It was absolutely disgusting then having responded to my AirBnB review making misrepresenting and false statements that I demanded a refund, called the host during our trip and did not raise the issue - Both of which are untrue!Having also left electrical goods in the property (not headphones as they inaccurately understood, but charging equipment for toothbrush and shaver), the host was unwilling to do anything until the current tenant had left the property and then claimed nothing was found, despite being told very clearly that they were in the top bathroom drawer.Id strongly recommend anybody that values satisfactory and good customer service to avoid this company as quickly as you possibly can by looking elsewhere!
Loved staying here. Probably stayed there half a dozen times or more. Had a death in family and needed to cancel, they refused to have a credit or reimburse. Just poor business.
Great place to stay if you are in Austin! Really friendly service and a beautiful spot.
