Place was very pleasant to the eyes. Its just your standard office space area. Its nice and clean well-lit and the person I talked to you was very professional. Came here for a drug test and I passed, so Im happy about that. The building is quite large and houses many Corporate Offices. The outside of the building is well maintained and taken care of.

From the beginning of the contract, which was FAR under the rate it should have been paid, I didnt receive paychecks, was given incorrect information regarding the hours I would be working, rarely received timely responses to my concerns and was altogether a terrible experience.DO NOT RECOMMEND.Would give 0 stars if possible.

I WOULD NOT USE THIS AGENCY TO FIND WORK. PLEASE BE ADVISED! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! NOT VERY RESPONSIVE! I MOST DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!💯👎When I spoke to Will one of there recuiters here over the phone last week he sounded very sketchy and unprofessional like the guy was asking me some VERY odd questions like Where have I applied to? Have you had any callbacks from jobs youve applied to? What do these jobs pay? Hows my Job search going? etc.... In my opinion these are questions that you DO NOT ask people because for 1. Its none of there business and 2. Its VERY unprofessional to dig into someones elses personal life like that. Ive had several conversations like this with this recuiter before in the past so this isnt the first time this has ever happened. Id advise you stay far away from this agency and Will who is currently a recuiter here at this agency. This man is VERY unprofessional. Also this agency isnt very responsive, Ive called and left several voicemails in the past on there phone lines and it took them WEEKS!! to return my calls.

Volt scheduled me for an interview with a company they wanted me to do an assignment with. The morning of my interview, my daughter had a fever - and I reluctantly had to cancel the interview so that I could take my daughter to the doctor. (FYI - my daughter rides the bus to school every weekday - a bus that has NO heater. The weather had been very cold with many of her fellow students coming down with the flu). This is not something I wanted to happen, nor did I plan for it to happen. But as a parent it is something that I have to deal with. Sometimes you have to make those hard decisions.I notified my recruiter about two hours before my scheduled interview.I get an email reply from my recruiter saying this will make it difficult for Volt to move forward with you in future opportunities. What does that even mean?Am I being blacklisted for a situation that was beyond my control? I have a family, and my family comes first. In my opinion, I didnt do anything wrong. I notified my recruiter as soon as I knew I had to cancel. I could have easily said nothing and not shown up for the interview. But, I was honest and forthright and tried to make the best out of a less than ideal situation. In my opinion, this behavior is incredibly unethical on Volts part - to even say something like this is, to me, bullying.I get the feeling that Volt, like many employment agencies, sees its workers as cattle, nothing more. And, frankly, I dont HAVE to contact them again. And YOU dont either.

Several emails from a Ryan were received but I never actually got a call. I called the number posted in the email and left voice messages but to no avail. Worst company ever. With no luck for a job from a suspicious emailer, I was forced to move out of Austin. Jeremy Starr is a man not a woman, Daisy Ruiz works there. Her review was typed up by the staff. Y. Maring and JoeCoupwood are both forgery reviews. Conner Mason and Amber Fisher are both names from television. Maxwell Vallee might be the only real human. Lastly, Abdo Laa is a made-up name.

I began working for Volt in December. As it turns out, two months later my mother passed away, the. COVID-19 hit, and I have medical exacerbations. Bottom line is this, it is highly not understood why a technology company like the one I was assigned to uses a company like Volt for their recruiting. Had I been a direct hire to the company, I probably would not have been stressed out having to deal with non-essential people of this company.

My experience with Volt has been incredible thus far. I have been working with Marissa Gutierez-Saenz for close to a year and she is a force to be reckoned with. She is always always always there when you call her. And she is always prepared to place you where you would be best fit. I have never in my life experience a Recruiter (yes, with a capital R) with such drive and tenacity as Marissa. She has given me hope when I thought there was nothing out there for me...at my wits end! SHE IS THE REAL MVP.

I came to Austin from working two consecutive years at another company in Killeen. The fact that I havent been able to hold a contract longer than a month or be in steady contact with my designated recruiter is mind blowing. Ive been through 3 recruiters and two contracts since my move here in July. If it were up to me, and I knew the area better, I would certainly go with someone else or do the job search myself. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I have been with 6 different staffing agencies in Austin, Volt was the worst of them all. I was treated well in the beginning before I started my position at a large tech company but then after some time, I was cut from my contract in the most unethical way I have ever been treated. During my last conversation with the on site volt manager I was told that I wasnt allowed to do certain things on my breaks that regular large tech company employees were and when I asked why this was not brought up to me (i did these things almost every lunch break), they told me were not required to inform you of our policies which my reply was, how was I supposed to know then? After bringing up the logic behind that circumstance, the manager then moved to a different reason why my contract was being cut- I was pursuing a different job. This is what I really told her when she first met me and asked what my future plans were I want to eventually move up from my position to either a higher tier or explore another department. After explaining the logic of that circumstance, she then got frustrated and said they dont have to give a reason for firing someone and then basically hung up on me.FYI- My metrics and performance at this job were high. I did the job well and it showed in my numbers. I also got along with every person on my team, including my manager.I will never understand why this large tech company uses VOLT as their only staffing agency.

I was really lookin forward to start working with Volt Workforce solutions.I was offered a job on site for volt. I would be working with them, I was excited. They sent me all the stuff to get started background check, drug test, Etc.. Everything came out clean and was just waiting on my background check. I waited for almost three weeks ... Quit my previous job & kept an update on my background check & the lady was reassuring that Im good and trying to get me a start date etc. She finally told me it would pass in a week.. Well two days before I get a call and she said they no longer need any one for the position..I cant describe to you how I felt in that moment, I was lead on & deceived. I have emails & so on about me being hired I can prove. Its just crazy how much they kept me hanging after I even quit my job for them and now Im stuck with nothing. Kind Decitful people.

Made me believe I had a job, reorganized my life for the job, then dont have one and back to sqaure one. Horrible, I should sue your pants off.
