Wow, I have found my dentist! Dr. Grimm was absolutely top-notch. She spent so much time with me, answering every possible question about my dental health as well as holistic health. She even gave me references to some nearby doctors she recommends! It was a long first appointment, but worth every minute. I have never had such a thorough appointment with a dentist (and Ive seen some great ones), and the hygienist was wonderful!

Visited Shoal Creek Dental Care for the first time a few months ago. I am new to Austin so needed to find a dentist in town. Everyone is so kind and welcoming and made me feel at ease. My hygienist was SUPER helpful in explaining problems she saw in my teeth and giving me advice on how to improve my overall oral health. For the first time ever, I am actually motivated to improve my habits because I understand why they are helpful. The dentist was very kind and professional as well. I got two cavities filled and he was attentive to my comfort levels and got everything done quickly. Could not be more satisfied with my visit!

I have been a client of Shoal Creek Dental Care for longer than I remember. I am always greeted and very rarely have to wait past my appointment time. My hygienists Jennifer and Dr Jenkins are what keeps me coming back to Shoal Creek Dental Care and I have no plans to change.

I am very dental phobic. I avoid the dentist like the plague. After 3 years without a cleaning, I decided to get the courage up to schedule a visit. If anyone is like me, PLEASE SCHEDULE A VISIT AT SHOAL CREEK. They are kind and wonderful and caring and it didn’t hurt at all. They scheduled extra time for my cleaning in case I needed breaks, and let me stop whenever I needed with no judgement or anything other than actual concern and kindness.

The X-ray tech did not cross contaminate her gloves while working with me (I’ve contracted a virus from another dental office in the past). I’m pleased and relieved to be a pt here.

Ive been going to Shoal Creek dental for 17 years. Theyve always been professional, helpful, and polite. They are constantly updating their techniques with the latest technology. While in 2002 I needed a cavity filled with drills, now they use lasers. No shots of novocaine needed. The work looks great too. Ive recommended them anytime I hear someone is looking for a dentist.

The cleanings that my husband and I had done recently were excellent. Weve always had wonderful care by Shelley, Jennifer and Dr. Jenkins. Our only concern is the increase in prices. The bill is getting pretty expensive. There must be a way to keep costs more affordable.

Super nice folks. If you are a new customer, you can feel good about going there and getting your dental needs taken care of in a very professional and reassuring environment. Yesterday I had a cavity in a molar filled by Dr. Harger using the new laser technology. It could not have been a swifter, smoother experience - no needles, no numbing, no pain and less than 30 minutes in and out. Seamless procedure. And this is coming from a patient with an extreme phobia when it comes to dental work of any kind.Dr. Harger is always kind, compassionate and patient with explanations, information and encouragement. His work is impeccable. I enthusiastically recommend him.The staff up front, May and Leslie, are the best. Both are thoroughly professional making scheduling appointments, processing insurance and any other business a breeze. The staff are very friendly, the hygienists are great at their jobs. Dr. Harger filled my teeth and told me it would only be sensitive for a few days. It has been 3 weeks and it is still hurting!

Dr. Harger has seen my family of 8 as well as my parents. He was my moms dentist when she had Alzheimers, and he and his staff were excellent and patient with her. He now sees my dad, who has dementia, and again, the staff are so patient and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Harger.

Doc Harger has taken care of me for something like 12-13 years now. I drive in from Georgetown to get worked on. Well, this go around I had a tooth that had to be removed...one of my prominent front teeth. Dr. Harger walked me through the process, and I just got the final implant...it looks perfectly natural and feels perfectly natural as well. My staff all say they cant tell anything ever happened. Im actually surprised at how perfect they can make these things. Great job Doc and staff! :)

Dr Jenkins at Shoal Creek Dental is the most excellent dentist I have ever been to.I have been going to Dr Jenkins for over 20 years and would highly recommend him.I have had fabulous experience with Dr Jenkins and no pain!

I got several fillings last year. I had an abnormal amount of sensitivity for almost a year and since switching dentists they told me that those fillings are terrible. They are ugly and not well done. They have increased the likelihood of more problems in those areas going forward because the fillings will trap even more food there. The staff is very friendly and nice, but I wouldnt trust Dr. Harger with any procedures even as simple as a filling.

I went in today to be fitted for a new nightguard and bottom retainer, and was pleasantly surprised that I didnt have to get any impressions. Dr. Harger has this new technology that generates a 3D image of your teeth. Really high tech! The technician (sorry, I didnt get her name) used a wand with a light beam to scan my teeth, inside & out, top and bottom, and I could see the image on the computer screen. I was impressed. Ive always had good experiences at Shoal Creek Dental. My hygienist, Shelly, is fantastic, as is Dr. Harger and all of the staff.
