I moved to Austin and was looking for a dentist that I can trust and this Horizon Dental Care is beyond my expectations! Everybody there is super nice and friendly. Honestly I don’t like dentist but they comforted me very well, they played some music and I felt really relaxed. I recently had my wisdom tooth extracted there, this was my very fist time to extract tooth but Dr. G was great and I could trust her very well. I’m very happy and glad to find a great dentist!

Dr. G and everyone on her team are amazing. She’s done so much for me - I can’t thank her enough! I’m ex-Army so I’ve traveled a lot and had dental issues my entire life, so I have been to many different dentists and Dr. G is “hands-down” the absolute best!

I had a very good visit recently at Horizon Dental in north Austin. My appointments are always handled in a timely manner. Dr. Guirguis has a professional, sensitive touch and I have a deep trust in her treatment of my dental needs. I also have to commend the staff supporting the Doctor in the various procedures required to maintain my oral health; their professionalism is always top notch. The front desk personnel keep me well informed regarding appointments and insurance matters via phone and email communications. I live in Canyon Lake, so I travel to Austin because Horizon Dental provides the best dental care I have found in Central Texas.

Dr. G is a dentist I would highly recommend. Ive referred her to friends or people new to Austin who are looking for a dentist. Always the same experience, which is excellent. Ive had a few dental emergencies, and have been able to get an emergency appointment that day. She will be my dentist until one of us moves out of Austin.

Dr.Guirguis is the best Dentist I have ever worked with. She has been so patience with me and listened to my concerns I had during my first visit regarding how nervous I was and why. I had such various bad past experiences with other dentists growing up but Dr. Guirguis and her staff has completely changed that for me. I look forward to the visits now and feel immensely grateful to the work she has has done for me. I bring my kids here and they also look forward to visits, which is a huge plus for me. I dont usually leave negative reviews but my experience at this clinic in 2017 left me with dental issues that Im still dealing with. The staff and the doctor are SUPER friendly, kind, etc. and I trusted them. I saw Dr. G and she was great with the interpersonal stuff, but she did told me I needed like 4 or 5 fillings in my teeth so I did them because I trusted her. Unfortunately she messed up my teeth so badly I had to go back three or four times just to get my bite correct and my teeth to stop killing me. After my fourth time going back for the same issue I realized I needed to see someone else. Two of the fillings Dr. G put in ended up falling out on their own.About six months later I went to a different dentist who pulled out a piece of plaster that had been stuck down deep in my gums and helped correct my bite. My teeth will never be the same.

This practice is by far the best dental practice I’ve experienced in Austin. The doctors all have a lite hand especially needed when getting my root canals and they are always positive and patient with you. They never make you feel like you’re in a rush and they even work with you on payment plans even though I didn’t have a credit card. They are simply amazing! Can’t recommend them enough!

I have been going to Horizon Dental for over 10 years. They are quick when it comes to routine exams. That is the main reason I chose them, I am busy with work and I usually like to get it done within my lunch hour and they always have me ready to go with time to spare. Dr.Guirguis (Dr. G) and all the staff there are very nice and super helpful. I recently got veneers (for aesthetic reasons) and Dr. G did them for me and did a great job. The process was explained to me properly-so I knew what to expect and reasonable payment plans are available if needed. I was also able to call any time I had questions during the process.

I had moved to Austin at the end of 2019, and the Covid situation was delaying my preventative dental care. The staff at Horizon Dental were very accommodating and quickly fit me in with the dental specialists that I needed. Their insightful counseling on my teeth care, and the services provided were the best that I have ever received. I can’t say enough both for the dental specialists and front office personnel. Entering their office felt like family from the very first visit. If you are considering a change in dental care, I 100% recommend that you look at Horizon Dental Care first!

I never thought I would be giving a dentist visit a five-star rating - I mean, who looks forward to going to the dentists? Well, that all changed yesterday! I had an exceptional experience at Horizon Dental, Austin office. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable. I was immediately greeted with a welcoming smile. I never had to wait long. Holly was my hygienist. She was wonderful. I had the best teeth-cleaning I have ever had. After my teeth cleaning, I met with Dr. Guirguis. She checked my teeth and then sat with me to throughly go over my X-rays and answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed.I had been putting off going to the dentist ever since Covid-19 hit. I was impressed with the steps the office took to protect the patients as well as everyone working there. The office was very clean and everyone was wearing a mask. Overall - Excellent experience!!! Highly recommend!!

This honestly has to be the friendliest and most professional dentist Ive ever visited, all the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. My options were all explained to me in great detail along with the associated costs and potential issues. Im glad to no longer feel super nervous and anxious when going to the dentist.I had my first tooth extracted here and it was a much easier process then I originally had anticipated, if you want a friendly dentist go here.

I really dont like leaving bad reviews but I feel this is necessary. The front desk is perfect, everyone there is very friendly to be honest. The problem comes with the doctor. I came here because I wanted to make sure my teeth were in perfect shape and if not, I wanted to receive the right treatment.Everything was fine until Doctor Guirguis Told me I had a broken tooth which needed to be extracted, so I did. It was the worst experience I ever had, I have a jaw problem which does not allow me to open big like is needed. I told this to the doctor, by the time she was trying to pull my tooth out she was moving my jaw side to side in a way that I felt my jaw was about to break, I had to stop her several times.The pain was awful since day one, I went a few days later because I had a dry socket, I was treated by another doctor, and he did not even clean the dry socket in the proper way. Two days later the pain was worst, and I decided to go back, and things started to get worst, she had to cut out the bone graft she previously put on the side, put a medicine and put stitches again. The pain never went away, at this point I was done with this dental clinic. I got my dry socket treated in another clinic, and the told me I would take a long time until is fully healed since they really injured my jaw bone.I would not recommend this place at all, I am really surprise how they still have this 4.9 star.

The best dentist experience around! Ive never had to wait longer than a couple minutes in the lobby, staff is always kind and helpful, and the treatment is personal and rewarding. Dr. Guirguis was exceptional and really took her time catering to my questions.The routine cleaning was thorough and informative (e.g., teeth cleaning, flossing, x-ray, gum measurements, filling checks). They took great care of me and passed on many tips and advice; past dentists, that Ive been with for years, have never even mentioned to me some of the things Ive learned in my few short visits at Horizon Dental.

My experience with Dr. Guirguis and the staff was phenomenal!! I went there several times. I had fillings and an implant done there. Dr. Guirgis made sure to carefully extract my tooth, and she later put in my implant. She made sure to follow up with me to make sure that I’m fine. Dr. Guirgis and the staff were very professional, they took care of my teeth in a manner that was very well pleasing. They answered all of my questions, and they always made me feel comfortable enough to ask anything. Every time I went there they made me feel very comfortable, and they wanted to make sure that when I left I was happy. I will continue to see Dr. Guirgis in the future, she’s amazing!!!

Extremely impressed with this dental office. I cant ever recall any office where everyone was truly enjoying their roll at the office. Very professional and laid back I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to visit to have their dental needs met. Im beyond impressed with Horizon Dental! Dr. Mughrabi has an eye for detail! She was able to create a new partial for me that looks and fits better than anything Ive had thus far. There was no need for any bite adjustments and the color matching is so natural. My partial was ready within two days and the office was accommodating to work me in as soon as they received it. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I havent smiled this confidently in a long time. Horizon Dental has my business!

I just had one of the best dental experiences as an adult. After switching insurance plans and dentist offices because of the distance, I was exhausted and overwhelmed through selecting a new dentist. I’ve has some bad experiences in the past, but Dr. Miriam Guirguis, Olivia and the rest of the staff were very accommodating with getting me in for some prior work that needed to be done. My cleaning/filling was a breeze and I’ve never anticipated wanted to come back before my next 6 month appointment until now 😊. They were all super nice and I look forward to my follow up.

This is by far the best dental office Ive been to since I moved to Texas. I feel like Im spoiled with the way everyone in there treats their clients. Everyone is nice and helpful. I especially love the way they remind you of your upcoming appointments - its not automated and impersonal, like most clinics are these days. They actually take time to contact you and work with you and your schedule.

I wanted to take a second and make a review for Horizon Dental. I’m not the type of person that usually goes online and write reviews about companies unless I really think that they have gone above and beyond. I just want to say how pleased I am with the way I’ve been treated here. The dentist office is not typically a place that you think of as “a happy place” but I can certainly say that going to Horizon Dental changed my outlook on that. Ive been coming here for years and I wont ever change them for any reason. Sure, the place is absolutely nice, but its the beautiful staff what makes this place amazing. Unlike other dentists, they legitimately care about you, take their time to make sure their work is right, and always make you leave with a big smile.

Dr. Miriam Guirguis and all the staff are amazing people! I am a traumatized patient and finding Dr. Guirguis was a relief and a blessing! Im not good navigating insurance, the office walked me through the details. Dr. Guirguis is beyond caring and careful. She plans what is the best approach in long term, coordinating with insurance possibilities. She warned me this anesthesia will hurt, I felt no more than a pinch. Got home so excited that my husband is now her patient too, and as satisfied as I am.

I have incredible anxiety with dentists, but this place impressed me from start to finish. The receptionist went above and beyond to help set up an appointment, and the dentist herself and her assistant were down-to-earth, efficient, and compassionate. I needed a root canal and in all honesty, yes it was painful at points (especially since I couldnt have good drugs due to pregnancy), but it was actually a good experience. Would definitely recommend them.

Just moved from Denver and had a chip in my bonding. I called 3 other dentist before finding this office and they were the only ones who didnt answer the phone and immediately place me on hold so I scheduled an appointment to have my binding fixed. They got me in the next day and worked quickly to have me in and put of the office... they did such a good job Im going to make them my primary dentist and even scheduled a cleaning for the next day.. the ladies in this office are all sweet and helpful.

Im not a review person, but I was promised theyll love me forever if I write one and thats a bargain so here we go. Dr. G and staff are professional and kind. They worked really fast as well. Place is chill. Extra point for remembering my name with correct pronunciation (not the one above, that would be ridiculous). I doubt that is due to my personal charm but to proper business practices. Small things like that helps you not run out of the world screaming at the idea of visiting the dentist. Appointment reminders for dummies! I should write something negative as an unbiased reviewer: Flimsy looking coat hanger. Does that count? (It did hold though.)

I have always hated the dentist, which has prevented me from going for a while (this story is probably comparable to most). I would have dentists that would seem as if they were just wanting to get more money out of me and tell me about certain dental procedures that I never really had to get done. Horizon Dental is honest and kind. They give me tips and suggestions, but never leave me leaving the office worried or upset. I live SUPER south, but travel all the way north (which is a long long drive) to get their services. I recommend them to all my colleagues and friends because theyre one of a kind. Amazinggggg people and service!

I had a great experience there. Going to the dentist is completely underrated. Its not as bad as people make it to seem. I mean yeah there may be slight pain, but thats just typical with any bodily procedure. When it comes to teeth, I understand that could be scary, but Dr Gurguis and her assistant Olivia, were very helpful and made it rather entertaining with a little sense of humor. Im glad I got to do my root canal, filling and cleaning for the first time ever here. Overall, good first time experience!

I went for a routine checkup and cleaning a few days ago. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, however, my dental hygienist wasnt the best. She smelled of smoke and wouldnt stop bring up Invisalign. After I politely declined even fancying the idea she continued to bring it up. It really felt like I was at a rental car place getting pressed to buy their insurance.

My case was simple there was tooth filling done last year after that I had sensitivity for more than six month then again doctor ask me to wait but then I had mild pain, I again visit them on 24th dec but it got worst after that doctor, I dont know what she did to me and I suffering since than more, I expected help but you guys made it worst !!!

I’ve visited Horizon Dental in North Austin several times now. What sets Horizon apart from other providers is the warmth and friendliness of everyone from the front desk to the dentists themselves. Dr. Mughrabi and Dr. Guirguis take the time to learn your name and history and also ensure you’re comfortable throughout your visit. The dental exam is thorough and the results are presented in a straightforward manner. Every time I’ve gone, they were ready for me the moment I walked in the door - no waiting whatsoever. It’s strange to admit, but I think I actually enjoy going to the dentist now!

I found Horizon Dental on my list of preferred providers on my insurance plan. I was pretty nervous at first because I havent seen a dentist in a while, and I was having issues with my wisdom teeth. I started having issues on a Friday, I called Horizon Dental (even though they were closed) and left a VM and my call was returned the next day, despite it being the Saturday of the month that they were off. I was so relieved, I was scheduled to come in early that next week. Beverly was so kind and she helped accommodate me with my work schedule. My consultation with X-rays and surgery went so smoothly, Ive never encountered such professionalism and care at a dentist in a major city before. Dr. Miriam Guirguis did my wisdom tooth removal surgery, and she was extremely attentive to me and my needs. My boyfriend (bless his soul) stayed to watch/take me home and he was extremely impressed at how well they took care of me. All in all, Ive never written an online review in my life but I felt compelled to share my experience because this office and staff is amazing! If youre nervous and need to see a dentist, call them! I live in north Austin now, the office is a convenient 5 minute drive from my apartment. Im more than likely moving to south Austin in the next couple of months, but I am more than willing to make the drive across Austin to see these guys in the future!

On top of everyone being delightfully friendly and helpful, they got me in and out for my appointment, like it should be.

Dr. Z and the whole Horizon Dental staff are amazing, always very helpful and able to fit my appointments in around my schedule. Great family environment, I have been coming to Horizon since they were located on Rutland Dr. and it has been the same awesome service
