The group class and materials from Love the SAT really helped my daughter and put her on a great path for college. All of the practice tests especially helped her get a feel for the timing of the tests and gave her confidence to that she would improve. She went from a 1300+ on her first official SAT to a 1500+ on her second official testing.

Christian was my daughter’s third SAT tutor. She’s easy going and a hard worker, but for some reason she didn’t click with the first two. I knew that she was capable of significantly raising her score, but she was understandably reluctant to try out yet another tutor. When I saw Christian’s Facebook post comparing preparing for the SAT to tackling a tough song on the piano (something she could relate to as a piano player herself), I knew he was the right choice and that it was worth her trying one more time. She took four classes with Christian and felt confident going into the June SAT. When it was canceled, she was gutted. She signed up for the August SAT and asked me if she could take more classes with Christian in preparation! She went from grumbling about having to take classes with the first two tutors to requesting additional classes with Christian. She took all of his advice very seriously and worked diligently over the summer to prepare. She was thrilled with her score, which was a 160-point improvement from her previous test. Knowing that her score is above average at most of the colleges to which she’s applying and well within the average range of her reach schools is a game changer! I highly recommend Love the SAT! and Christian and will be using him again when it’s time for my son to prepare for the SAT.

Our son attended one live session of SAT prep. Over COVID, Love the SAT! kept in contact with online classes, suggestions and practice tests. I am continually impressed with how much they are willing to share at no cost and no pressure. What you pay for has added value x10! Both the group classes and the one-on-one tutoring were terrific. At the end of the day we were able to realize a substantial score improvement and a terrific final score.

Love the SAT was recommended to me by a friend a couple of years ago for my older son. He was unhappy with his score and we signed him up for private tutoring with Christian. In 3 sessions, my son’s score improved by 50 points.In the summer before my younger son’s junior year, it was a no-brainer to register him for the summer prep course at Love the SAT and purchase the Founder’s packet for private tutoring. Although the course was held virtually because of the pandemic (summer 2020), my son enjoyed it and learned a lot. The one-on-one sessions with Christian were also held virtually. My son learned some important and effective test-taking strategies, time management skills, especially on the test as a whole and individual sections. After much agony with canceled centers, my son finally took the school day SAT in April 2021 and he scored a 1540! We were ecstatic for him as was he. His advice to students taking the SAT test is practice and practice relentlessly. This should sound familiar to those who are in the course as Christian advocates for this.As a parent, I loved that they offered free SAT/ACT practice tests for their students almost every Saturday. Christian is phenomenal in staying in touch periodically via email to share insights and encouragement. I found the meeting to be very helpful. I went in feeling like I wouldnt be able to do this, but once I had a conversation my fears went away. I had a good time talking about working out time to study and after this I really felt like I can do this now.

My sons score rose from signifcantly as the difference between his SAT score and his PSAT score is 190 with the SAT score having a very satisfactory result. The lessons overall were helpful for him as the lessons sought to help identify critical traps that the SAT often tries to set up, and the teacher helped pinpoint my sons flaws in how he was taking the test so that my son would not fall for any traps and know how to solve certain problems on the SAT, both in the reading and the math section.

My son (a high school junior) leveraged the 1x1 advanced tutoring with Christian between his first and second SAT dates. The strategies he learned and the confidence he gained helped him improve his score by 150 points! The online sign up process was easy, and we found times that worked with after school schedule (which was our preference). I had some up front questions and received fast and thorough responses. They also send great tips and tricks on email and offer many perks outside of just the tutorials. Cannot recommend I Love the SAT! enough!

I cant say enough good things about Love the SAT! My children have been both tutored and have taken classes there. My sons scores rose 8 points on the ACT, and he is now a rising senior at an Ivy League. Additionally, my daughter recently completed the month long online class and her score improved 250 points on SAT practice exams!

My son took this 5-week course. He improved his SAT score 150 points from the first time he took the test. Love the SAT gave him some helpful pointers on working through the test in a timely fashion. He improved the reading/writing section by 80 points and the math section by 70 points so the improvement was fairly split between both sections.

The team at Love the SAT has been wonderfully responsive and the investment of time and $ was definitely worth it.Our son gained confidence as they taught him about the ACT test and how to prepare and execute.After one group course of a few lessons and three “1:1” sessions, he increased his score on his test by 5 full points! We are very happy with that outcome.

Christian is a great teacher. I took the SAT twice before coming to this class, one score being 1010 and doing worse the second time getting a 1000. I decided to take this class and Immediatey felt great about going. The strategies are straight forward and easy to pick up, as long as you buy in to what Christian shows you. After this class, my score WENT UP 100 POINTS!! I now have opened lots of opportunities for college and scholarships with my 1110 score! Overall AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

Our son, a high school junior, used a combination program offered by Love the SAT! to prepare for his ACT. He enjoyed the tutoring sessions, both group and private, and felt they provided a lot of helpful information. He did very well on his first test, waited a few months and took it again, with a practice test and one tutoring session in between and did significantly better. We are very pleased with the services and personal attention he received at Love the SAT and would recommend it to other high school students.

Love the Sat has been a life saver for my sat score! I came into it thinking it was just another SAT class, but after just one class I felt an improvement. My attitude about the SAT has changed into a more positive one because of the teacher, Christian. His enthusiasm and tips and tricks made a huge difference! After a set of 8 tutoring sessions and several practice tests on Saturday, our daughter scored a 100 point improvement on the SAT and a 33 on the ACT, a 6 point improvement. Weve even had to upgrade her list of colleges to include a higher tier school. I never would have thought Johns Hopkins would be potentially in reach, but the investment in Love the SAT opened up the door. Thanks to Christian, who helped unlock her potential!

I would like to thank Love the SAT for Nathans success on his SAT! Before seeing Christian he was doing mid 1200s to low 1400s on his scores. Very inconsistent. After 4 sessions with Christian, he took the PSAT this past Oct. and got a 1430. (I think all the techniques Christian taught him were there during the PSAT, but he was probably under a lot of pressure and stress because he was trying to be a merit finalist). He then took the SAT in December while all the techniques Christian taught him were still fresh in his brain and he did a lot better, he got a 1560! Way better than what we expected. Not saying this is all Christians doing, the student would have to put in his own effort of course, but I think without proper guidance it would be difficult to score this high. Especially in such a short time. My son is a junior and he took the SAT earlier than the rest of his class. Now he doesnt have to worry about taking it in March or during his senior year. What a relief! He can now focus on other stuff like his extra-curriculars and prepare for other college admission requirements.Also Josie had been a pleasure to work with, she had made the process of registration easy for me and always got back to me quickly when I had questions for her.We plan to register our freshman son too with them when its his turn. Woo-hoo, great tutors, and a great company (everyone we dealt with was helpful and professional)! My son had one-on-one tutoring with Christian (I am sure Christopher is a great tutor also) and improve his composite ACT score by 5 pts! He went up in every measure and even got a perfect score in Reading (6 point increase from the earlier ACT test). Your mileage may vary but I am sure any high-schooler will really benefit from their tutoring service. We are so grateful for the service they offered and highly recommend Love the SAT. This was an excellent investment in my sons future and I am so glad we took the leap of faith and purchased the tutoring - they really care about help your child. Thank you Love the SAT!!! (P.S. we also tried Kaplan previously but found it very unhelpful - I do not mean to trash the company but the course offered in Sunset Valley was not good and did not work enough on the specifics of the ACT test).
