We had two other companies come out, but couldnt do the job.We contacted Natures Own Chimney Cleaning.Dustin came out to inspect and removed animal, vacuum and sanitize our fireplace. Friendly and polite crew, and the work done seems good? (well see during fire season), but highly disorganized when it comes to quoting and billing.I originally had them out to do a sweep and quote some work that was recommended on our inspection report.They came out, quoted it up and said lets hold off on any work until we have the parts and can do it all in one day. I said thats fine.A few days past, and I had my CC incorrectly billed (with receipt) for a chimney clean (despite no work being done at all). After several follow ups by me asking why I had been charged despite no work done, this was changed to a deposit for the full $649 quote/scope of work and I agreed to move forward with it.When they finally got out onsite to do the work within the original quote (Chase replacement, chimney clean, firebox repair, ignitor log replacement), I was then informed that it was actually a misquote after all and there was no way that they could do the scope of work they quoted themselves at that price point ($649).At this point, I just paid whatever it was they claimed a chimney cleaning, firebox repair, and gas log replacement cost (minus the money they had already charged me for a clean that did not happen prior - of which I had to remind them to deduct it from the final bill and show them their own receipt as proof) and then off they went.They then sent a follow up quote for an additional $500to finish up the full scope of original work (that was originally $649 all in, and which I had now paid in full for half the job).I will not be moving forward with this as I dont have faith that the quote is reliable, or frankly if thats even a good price at this point.Friendly people, but a very undermining billing and quote process - too disorganized.

We had the pleasure of dealing with James both times we hired this company to provide a service. We didnt realize that they provided so many different services. James is always a pleasure to deal with and his experience is plenty and he defiantly knows his chimneys. Thanks again for the good treatment.

Update - Management called and apologized for theMiss. The fact that I got the phone call back and they sounded like they do care. I’m updating the rating on here.I used the service for lawn aeration and machine was ran on dripping tube on sideway by road. Any experienced technician should have know not to use those spike aerator in that area. I was given assurance that they will fix the damage but no communication after that.If all goes well than great but in case of any damage they will not fix it and completely ignore you. I would advise to stay away and use someone with better reputation.

I found this company through online reviews and very pleased with the work they performed! I had part of the chimney rebuilt, inner steel liner installed and point entire chimney. They were prompt, professional and excellent work! They cleaned up afterward where you would never know there were any construction work done prior! Jordan was great, he remembered all tasks we discussed during our consultations and completed them all.Highly recommended them.

Service technician showed up on time and swept our fireplace that hasnt been cleaned in 10 years. Definitely a dirty job and bay was there a lot of buildup. James was very good with his clean up and the job was done with no mess. Very happy with service.

Our chimney was in need of a good cleaning and inspection so I did some research and found some great reviews on Natures own chimney cleaning. I scheduled an appointment for the following week . I received a reminder the day before and a call before they arrived. Technicians Brandon and Patrick were our techs. Patrick was the cleaner, he was very careful setting up his equipment and taking the time to explain what the process was and everything they would be doing. He was thorough and extremely detailed. Brandon was doing the inspection around the top of the fireplace on the roof where he did reveal a few dangerous issues that we are having repaired. I am so thankful for all the care and work that Brandon and Patrick did protentally keeping us from a serious accident in the future.Thank you natures own for being there to keep our home safe and at a cost we could afford.

I just had the most delightful appointment with Roy to discuss building a fireplace wall with an electric insert for me. He was so professional and personable and had amazing customer service skills! I’m so excited to get started on this project with him and his team. I just had to show him a few pictures and he took it and ran with it. He came up with amazing ideas I hadn’t thought of. He was extremely knowledgeable and even gave me advice on a separate project. I would choose him again and again. He will be able to handle every aspect of the project, beginning with the fireplace insert to all the construction including built-ins on the sides. I’m very grateful I don’t need to go to one place for the insert, one place for the construction, and another for the odd and ends. The other people I have talked with have given me a list of at least 3 companies I need to talk with. It’s a one stop shop. If you’re considering adding a fireplace wall, either real or fake, I highly recommend calling Nature’s Own Chimney and have Roy come out for a visit. One last thing, I had to call around to a lot of places before I found a company willing to come out for an estimate. Most places I called wouldn’t come to my house because it wasn’t a big enough job. Big props to Roy for making me feel like a worthwhile customer.

We called Natures Own to clean our fireplace since we never had it cleaned. James customer service was perfect and he sure does know a lot about fireplaces. We also got a new cap put on and we did some concrete work at the top that looked really bad. Great folks and service thank you.

I had natures own give me a quote on my house and the guys that came told me I had all kinds of issues that were false. They came of with an estimate that was almost $3k. I had 3 other companies give me estimates and I had the fireplace inspected and natures own was way off and I feel misleading (try to upcharge me for stuff I didnt need). There other estimates were all under $1,000. And here is the thing that really bothered me. They guy in charge said he was going to send me a written estimate and he never did. Maybe he was trying to do this work on the side and not report it to natures own. I dont know, but the whole experiance was shady. I dont recommend, there are much better companies in Austin.

Spoke with James today and was so nice! Have them booked to come out within 48 hours for a cleaning and inspection! Very professional and easy!

Appt. was set for a chimney cleaning on 12/12/2020, with an appt. time window between 4:30 and 6:30pm. I was told I would receive a half-hour heads up call prior to arriving. As of 6pm I hadnt received a call, so I called their office and left a vm asking if my appt. was still happening. I did not get a call back. At 8:50pm they arrived and said that they were running late and did I still want service. I explained that I had assumed my appt. was canceled with no prior phone calls and it was almost 9pm. The person said that he was extremely busy, and that no one would have been at the office past 3pm on a Saturday anyway to have received my vm. When I said that it was too late now, and that I would have appreciated a heads up they were running late, the service person said Well, sometimes people fall off roofs. He also told me the company would call me to reschedule the appointment as I was no longer interested in getting my chimney cleaned, at 9pm, on a Saturday night, with a service person who was possibly injured and seemed annoyed.Would never EVER recommend this company. Also, no one ever called me to apologize or attempt to reschedule.EDIT: I see the business has responded. You called me on March 1, 2021, and left a voicemail telling me to call you back. The horrible customer experience I received happened back on December, 12, 2020. 3 months is too late.

I called Natures Own Chimney Cleaning after getting an exorbitant estimate for relining my chimney. Unlike the other company, Matt pointed out the cracks and explained how the liner worked and the installation process. The two men who did the work were neat and very helpful in answering all of my questions. When they were on the roof, they noticed that the chimney cap was almost completely rusted out. They went to get another cap and presented me with two options, one more expensive than the other. They discussed the pros and cons of each cap so that I was able to make an informed decision. This wasnt part of the job but they took the time to pick up and install the cap before leaving. Natures Own Chimney Cleaning responded immediately when initially called.Several years ago, Matt came to take a look at my roof when I was told that I needed to remove another chimney due to a roof leak. He told me not to do this and, as it turned out, the leak was nowhere near that chimney. His advice saved me thousands. I highly recommend this company.

After doing a little research online, and seen the great reviews I made up my mind to go with Natures Own Chimney Cleaning. They were able to set same week appointment which worked perfect with my busy schedule. Just wanted to thank john for a great work he did on my chimney. Very easy to set up an appointment, i didnt had to call several times, he did picked up right away. I also had very tight window, when he could come in for an inspection. He did moved some of his chores around to accommodate me and did schedule it for me. After inspection he told me that this issue need to be fixed ASAP, so he scheduled an a repair for me on next day. I have to say his work is very professional, clean and fast. I had to leave house for a while and i didnt feel like I cant leave john in my house unattended. When I was back, he was already done and ready to go. Just want to say that I am very pleased with his service and I highly recommended him for everyone.

I hired Natures Own to clean my mothers chimney. I live in a different state than her so I placed the call, they were very helpful and professional over the phone. When they came to her home to do the job, their customer service only improved. Mom called right away to tell me what an amazing job they had done and how friendly the man that came to her house was.
