The employees seem to really care about the client and the wellness of the pet that reflects a culture of caring instilled in the team. My experience in Houston was great, and to be fair when you go to a 24 hour ER expect to pay more. The price was fair, and value was very good. I’ve seen reviews complaining about upfront deposits and high charges. It’s difficult to separate emotion of a loved family member’s health from the financial Impact of emergency care. Especially in these difficult economic times it is hard to make a financial decision. The hospital does offer financing options for care to lessen the immediate financial impact. Ask lots of questions and get a clear picture of cost vs possible outcomes and own your decision. I’ll say The quick action of the team made all the difference between a good outcome and a bad one. I highly recommend Pathway.
That is pathetic that desperately the company want to boost the ratings on Google by Asking their employees to put five stars on here. Unorganized company and most of the employees agrees but they sees this as an opportunity that may slow in the future(growth). It is a great opportunity but you need to invest in your infrastructure to be able to manage them easily without over working your stuff to save some money..
Pathway, over and over again, continues to prove they care about People First! Many new programs have been rolled out recently to support people both professionally and personally. Everyone truly cares for each other. The leadership is phenomenal and goes above and beyond. Recently, during the Texas storms that devastated so many, they arranged for team members and their families to stay in hotels. I highly recommend Pathway Vet Alliance.
We partnered with Pathway 1 year ago and as one of the managers my experience has been great. We have a lot of autonomy and thing really havent changed much for us except for the better. We have great benefits and still get to take care of pets and pet parents like we always have. We still get to run our business as usual and have all of the autonomy like before.
I felt very confident and comfortable w Dr Brandy, she and her staff were more than competent and I felt like they cared about me as a pet owner. They worked together and kept me informed about the status of my Golden retriever Lola. I felt like they really cared about her well being and my well being as her pet parent. I would recommend to all my friends and any pet owner!
Our partnership with Pathway began a little over a year ago. The minor things that have changed in that time, have truly been for the better of our staff. Pathway has been hands off in our practice but available on a number of levels when support is needed. Would certainly encourage any practice to consider a partnership with this group. Their motto “change agents for good” holds true.
I have had nothing but great experiences since we partnered with Pathway. The company is very people-focused; understanding that when hospital teams are supported in every way, then customer service and top-tier medical care can be delivered. Our employees are now more educated and have better benefits, which provides them more job satisfaction and job security....all of which helps contribute to better patient care.
We have been patients of Pathway Vet Alliance hospitals for years and have always had wonderful personal and medical treatment for our four legged family. After speaking with several hospital team members and people who work in the home support office, I understand they really are all about Pets and People...they walk the talk!
I would recommend reconsidering selling to this corporation. There is so much gaslighting. Have legitimate concerns? Well there is obviously something mentally wrong with you and you should go see a therapist about it. Also, a frequent phrase is youre lucky to have a job when you try to get those concerns addressed in a professional manner. Great, thanks for the support. Management is also never in the building and is completely clueless.
Pathway is a fantastic company! The employees are truly valued here, and the work-life balance is exceptional! The company offers opportunity to learn and grow, competitive salary, and exceptional benefits. What really stands out to me is that the management values their team members input and offers continuous support and in-depth training opportunities to all position levels in various areas, from software to EQ training. Overall an amazing company!
Working with Pathway has been the best career choice I ever made. The people are top notch, genuine, caring, and really want to make this world a better place. Great benefits and great career advancement opportunities exist. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an exciting and rewarding professional experience.
We partnered with Pathway one year ago and the experience has been very good. Our employees have better benefits, less expensive health insurance, paid maternity/paternity leave, etc. When the pandemic hit in March all of our communication from Pathway was centered around keeping our staff safe and zero about revenue continuation. This showed us what we thought we knew - they care about people and pets. Above board company and we have been treated well.
I would recommend reconsidering selling to this corporation. I have never ever experienced so much gaslighting in my life. Have legitimate concerns? Well, obviously its nothing were doing. You might want to go see a therapist about that.
The fact that these reviews are fluffed with fake ones from corporate Pathway employees should tell you a lot about Pathway. Just look at the reviews that have the most likes (One star reviews). They fired a good, caring, genuine manager and replaced her with a money-driven, corrupt manager that made the workplace even more stressful than it already was without a manager. I was written up and let go for events claimed on days I didnt even work, and when I tried to get clarification for other events I didnt recognize or didnt make sense, I was blown off and the manager refused to help me fix whatever she deemed to be an issue. It was clear later on that she was just trying to get rid of me to cut costs. Thats Pathway for you. They get gradually more and more controlling of your practice and tell you what you can and cant do, sell, and even how you decorate. The clinic I was let go from has only gone down hill since Pathway acquired it, and thats coming from the CLIENTS. It is one of the lowest rated clinics in its area.
First visit to Pathway after being referred by a friend. Staff was friendly and I got right in to have my dogs scheduled exam and routine shots. Dr Thomason was thorough and great with my sweet lab. My dogs new doc!
I’m super happy and very grateful that there is a company like Pathway. Their culture is incredibly positive. When I partnered my hospitals with them it allowed me to get balance in my life. Its very refreshing how they put a priority on the wellbeing of their team members. For instance they just added 8 weeks paid family leave and great family care benefits on top of everything else they do thats so awesome. They are making a real positive change in veterinary medicine.
Worked for Pathway for 2+ years – Enjoyed every minute of it. Everyone I worked with was caring and understanding, from executives to department/team level. Will always point back to Pathway Vet Alliance as a key landmark in my personal and professional development.
Great company with a positive culture. Pathway treats employees fairly and are advocates for clients and their pets. Ive worked for several companies in the past, Pathway stands out as superior in many ways.
The actions of this corporation do not uphold what they are trying to sell. They repeatedly lied and had no respect for their employees. I feel for the current employees, and future business owners looking to sell. Its all money to Pathway. Numbers matter, not the animals or employees. They have made that abundantly clear. I am actually surprised that their rating was this high. Looks like the positives are mainly made from current employees.
Their motto is “Change agents for good” but none of their changes have provided anything good for those who deserve it- the clients, pets, and employees. Since Pathway has come in, we can’t order the supplies we need, we are always short staffed, there has been a hiring and raise freeze, wait times for clients have doubled, we can see fewer pets, and the staff is so overworked that mistakes are happening more frequently. We were initially promised by Pathway that they were only there to provide us with the resources we needed to make us a better clinic, but there has been ABSOLUTELY no investment into our clinic. Here’s a new motto for you: “Only the money matters”
Pathway had an incredible impact on the culture of the hospital I managed; their mission and vision driven approach was exactly what we needed and with the focus on culture OUR hospital culture changed to being a place everyone looked forward to coming to work. I have been with Pathway for several years, the focus has always been on the people and I am proud to be part of the team.
I have been with Pathway for three years and it’s been the most rewarding three years of my career. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with people across different departments as well as the executive team and they are all top notch people.
Pathway Vet Alliance operates with core values and a mission that has the best interests of pets, people (clients and employees) and the veterinary profession at the heart of its business.
I love working at Pathway Vet Alliance. I appreciate that we offer lots of flexibility and family friendly programs and policies like 8 weeks of paid parental leave and subsidized childcare to help working parents. Very proud to be here!
I have been with Pathway for 5 years. Its been an incredible ride to say the least. It all started with 15 hospitals and a small support organization in August 2016 and about 350 employees. Fast forward to August of 2020 we have almost 400 locations and 8000+ people. So the growth has been off the charts. Last spring our new majority investor TSG Consumer became our partner. TSG has an impressive 30+ year history investing in some of americas most well known consumer brands. They will help in Pathway version 2.0. The focus is on people, culture, technology and enhanced benefits for our people that are truly industry leading. As an example earlier this year Pathway became the first company to offer two months of paid parental leave. As the company roles out best in class benefits we hope to achieve our goal of becoming the best place to work. A great management team and the best people in the world. Really excited to see the company go beyond high growth to people/pet and customer service centered. Go Pathway Vets!
I wish I could give this company negative stars. The veterinary field doesnt get enough credit for how hard it is to work in the animal medicine profession as it is. Then Pathway comes along and buys out veterinary practices feeding false promises that ALL your benefits will stay the same as the doctors who previously owned them. THEY LIE!First thing they do is take away ALL your benefits and even try to cut staff, lower pay, and change your budgets! They dont care for the employees well being or hard work. They just want more money in their pockets.I do not recommend selling your practice to this company or working for them.
Dont sell your business to Pathway! Theyve owned the office for 8 months and 75% of the employees have quit. These are employees that were there for 3-7 years. And Pathway has made it clear they will not hire new employees bc it wont fit in the budget. What a scam. They want people to leave. They want to squeeze all the energy & money out before abandoning ship. This is a high jacking company. Do yourself a favor and never sell to them, or give them any business.
Pathway is committed to providing innovative support and service to the veterinary industry. It is a people-centric organization that respects and honors the past, present and future of veterinary medicine.
Had a terrible experience with one of their clinics in killeen. The vet tech didnt even ask more than 5 questions, and everything seemed really unorganized and unthorough. Obviously went out of their way to run more tests than where needed, given what I tried telling the tech.
I dont like liars and false promises. If you are selling your practice do not sell to these people. They are the opposite of what you worked so hard for.
Zero stars. If your practice is selling to this company, kiss all your benefits at work goodbye. I work for an emergency hospital. Once we sold to Pathway they changed everything to benefit them. Just like any other corporation they only care about money. Corporate bosses wont help with any problems. We have reached out multiple times to get our questions answered or just to get help with something, we were told to document everything before we could get a resolution, which never happens. Pay is low. constantly being told Well that is what pathway wants They do not care about employees. No work life balance. Blocked C.E. websites such as At dove, A.C.T. and vet girl. Constantly hearing about how to improve. We never get credit for the good things we do. Goal is to lie to people and get as much money out of them to ensure they get paid. The only thing I enjoy is WHEN I LEAVE WORK. If you want to get paid 11.00 and hour come right on down! Health insurance is a joke, profit sharing is a joke. Constantly short handed because we dont pay well, but its okay the rest of us will just pick up the slack since its costs them to much to pay people more. Ezyvet and smartflow is difficult and no support when transitioning. Only can work with approved outside vendors, even if it affects the business negatively, because they have contracts with them so it saves them money. We have CORDED PHONES IN EMERGENCY, because they were more cost effective, definitely helpful when Im holding a patient for x rays or the patient is critical. We nickel and dime clients all day. Oh and we dont offer payment plans, so if your animal is dying Sorry but payment is due at the time of service go ahead and take your pet home and watch it die since you dont have any money. Management is never in the building, they work from home. Management has no problem solving, its up to us to figure it out while patient care is neglected. Old equipment, never reliable. We had technician we couldnt seem to fire after she KILLED 3 PATIENTS! Excuses were made for this employee constantly. If a pet is in critical care and is most likely to die, we will go ahead and hospitalize take thousands of dollars from you and then call and let you know your pet is dead and you still owe us money. Marketing is a huge priority we have 12 different phone numbers to our hospital, which is extremely confusing for clients. So sad to see our clinic go from a happy, healthy work place where I used to enjoy work, to feeling like I am slave to just another corporation that is out to LIE, STEAL, AND CHEAT EVERYONE.
I was over charged at one of their clinics by over $300! I have tried for almost a week to contact these people to try to resolve the issue before filing an insurance claim!!
*Edit*This establishment has reached out multiple times to ask me to delete this review going as far as visiting my professional website to get my email. So adding a star for persistence. I’d delete this post per request but there is still no signage saying they are NOT a vet clinic. Just a bunch of misleading photos of vets with animals. So if someone like me is in trouble and tries to search for the closest veterinarian, the same will happen to them. Still no one answers the phone and the voicemail doesn’t explain who they are. I’ve ran into other dog owners who were also confused on what this location is.###One star for not having adequate signage to get to the place. I can’t carry my 75 pound injured dog around seaholm trying to figure out where the heck you are. And answer the phone!
Awesome location and an even more incredible company. Their desire to change the world for the better sounds great to me!
This place is phenomenal! But, hey, dont get confused, it is not a veterinary clinic so dont bring your pet!
Great place
Unprofessional.
Trash. Do better. You cant just fire your entire staff without notice. Not to mention closing your doors and all methods of communication to clients.
