I’ve been here for about 7 months now and I waited to write my review to give an accurate experience of living here. So far it’s been great .Here’s what I like - The area is quiet and I never have trouble with my neighbors . The apartment layout is pretty decent. Cable and internet is included in the rent through spectrum. There’s only been one time so far since I needed maintenance and they responded pretty quick, actually the repair was done under 24 hours . Very pleased. I never have too hard of a time getting a hold of the office . The pool is very nice luxury style and they are currently remodeling the gym. The apartment complex is right by a shopping center which is also in walking distanceHowever, there’s just a couple minor things. The parking gets very tight because majority of the spots are made for compact cars, so it causes bigger cars to squeeze in .I had to resort to covered parking. Rent is a bit high, but it isn’t easy finding anything cheaper in this area.So overall my experience has been great and I would recommend anyone looking to live here do so. Very pleased with the complex and management
Natalia at the front desk was wonderful. It was evident that she truly appreciates and cares for the tenants at Center Ridge. Totally competent and kind leasing agent. The place is gorgeous and comes with so many amenities at such an affordable price.
Staff have been incredibly helpful and the moving process was smooth and easy! Neighbors have been quiet and friendly. The apartment itself is clean, modern and a great deal for the price and the location. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings
Very fast and efficient at taking your money but seemingly impossible to get a hold of at any other time. They will drop an eviction notice off at 9am if you are one day late but if you put in a request to fix something expect about 2 weeks. Good luck trying to get them on the phone at anytime, leave a message and expect a call back in a few days. But hey if you are a brand new resident they can connect you instantly! Luxury on the outside but the service is just not here.
Great apartments. Great maintenance workers also!! And the management is awesome also. Love the layout of the apartment complex. Only found 1 homeless digging in the trash can sense i have been there and i kicked him off the property personally. Austin police department on the other hand suck and if you need to call them you will be waiting along time for assistance. Apartments for this area is 10 stars to me. Very clean, the police response time for anything sucks for this area though.
My overall experience is good but they dont know how to answer the phone so I can ask about rent they tried to set me up with online pay but I dont have a card I dont get direct deposit so its pretty pointless for me
From viewing the model apartment, to signing our lease and our welcoming has always been an amazing experience. Our CARES team is awesome 🤩 and love that we have them so involved with the community
Youre coming to the reviews to help guide you in your decision-making, correct? Well, dont reside here unless you have a tolerance for noise. Not from your neighbors, but the cars. Yes, the car club that meets up every weekend in which the cops dont do anything to prevent it from happening, yeah its pretty sad.The leasing agents arent bad. They try to be helpful. Maintenance is outstanding. Theyre very responsive to the service requests. A quick turnaround is expected. Parking isnt as bad as people make it out to be.Overall, its not that bad of a place, just the noise from the cars, which make it not so great. Think wisely before you sign the lease.
DeeDee helped us find the perfect apartment. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Love the pool and the fitness room. The units have everything that you need including modern kitchen/bathrooms. Super excited to start living here.
2bdr is $1260... But with everything included its about $1340-$1360. Its not worth it. Theres no upgrades inside (lived here 9 years ago, left and now no change inside as a current resident), every parking spot is compact (including the carport), every parking spot is taken, and you pay for a gate remote thats useless bc the gate stays open all night (I have used the remote about 3 times since staying here for about 2years. They got rid of onsite security and transitioned to cameras. Of course I am not renewing.
Lived here for over 8 years.Property has changed Management several timesQuality of the complex has gone down over the yearsPros:Cheap rent rates / Online payment systemInterior is nice / good appliances / built in mid 2000sMaintenance is excellent / Fixes things right awayOutside Cameras and sometimes security patrolsNice pool and BBQ Pit (If your into going outside)Apartment gives out free food and hosts events every now and thenGood Pest controlCons:Pool area is a constant distraction / Loud participants until late hoursPool equipment is noisy if your apt is by the poolPolice and fire dept frequent the complex / Fire / Water heater explosions / People getting arrestedThe gate has been broken since it was put in / People keep hitting it?The AC unit has stopped working a few timesLoud and questionable neighbors / Screaming / Bass / banging / lots of talking in the outer hallwayNo-where to park / parking lot fills up quick / Have to park at the officeBroken down cars in parking lot wasting spacesUnable to reach to office / Goes to voicemailCrime rate has increased over the years / Stole parts of my car enginePackages were stolen from my front door / Live saving medical suppliesAt one point there was a homeless camp next to the complex / Gone nowThe washer and dryers damaged my clothes and stayed dirtyCarpet wasnt new when I moved in / Had some issues with sugar antsNow that rates have gone up, I plan to move to a nicer apartment complex in the same price range.
The reviews are always good before they move in and base the reviews on how great the leasing agents treat me or the residents before they move in. Moved in and already had scratches on the hardwood floors, never parking after 8pm, had to park about 3 minutes from where I lived. Got charged a 70$ cleaning fee when most of the apartment was spotless. Guests are always taking the the parking spots. Apartments prices are super high for barely any sq footage. Apartment layouts are outdated and don’t even come with laundry and washer unit. Not worth it. Nice pool and clean indoor gym though.
Renewed my lease because I love the location, amenities and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. The pool is my absolute favorite!
I am so excited to be here at The Bridge at Center Ridge! I love it here. Beautiful property and lots of events to attend. This is a gated community as well which is really nice. From the office staff to the maintenance staff they take very good care of their residents.
Great place to live. I lived there for 6 years. I’m considering going back.
Be careful with these thieves! I was moving to a better department and I still hasnt finished taking my belongings out of the apartment when the items were stolen by maintenance workers and evaluated for a total of $ 3,000. The manager says that they were thrown away or that they were taken out of the apartment and that the neighbors took them away, but I am sure that maintenance workers stole my stuff and didnt give me a coherent explanation of where those valuable belongings are ., they took out the most insignificant and stole the rest .. CAREFUL, AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY ... I already made a report with the police
The Bridge at Center Ridge was my top choice of apartments when moving to Austin after 32 years of life in NY. It seemed like it could be an indefinite wait for an apartment, but Deedee personally knew of the perfect apartment for me and the current resident who was on the way out but hadnt filled out official paperwork yet. She called me back the same day with confirmation that I could apply immediately. Coming from NY, all of the forms and everything was a bit overwhelming but Deedee is patient and knows how to make things simple and clear. Looking forward to my residency in December 2019.
Dee Dee has been SO wonderful to work with. She’s very understanding, flexible, and has such an upbeat attitude. She has made the moving-in process such a breeze, leaving no surprises along the way. I move in next month and Dee Dee has me very excited to do so!
Is a quite place to live, the only thing I dont like You stop using the gate, and is always Open, I liked when we have to use the code to Enter to the apartments, You feel safe!
I am in love with this property! Beautiful landscaping and wonderful resort style pools. This complex is in a perfect location. Beautiful floor plans and the office staff, well lets just say they are absolutely amazing! Make this your next home you will not regret it!
I’m so excited to be moving into my new place pretty soon, Especially after dealing with Dee Dee! She makes me feel welcome. Even after numerous emails I have sent her with my questions and concerns, she still answers them very quickly and without any problems.
Great apartments! Lived her 3 years and rent has only increased like $15 this whole time! The staff if really helpful and nice and very responsive. Whenever I have an issue in my apartment they get it fixed within 24 hours. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. And it’s a great location!
I moved here a few weeks ago and I’ve felt nothing but welcomed and at home! The property is absolutely beautiful and well kept. The office staff is also very sweet and welcoming! My apartment is nice as well, I definitely feel at home here!
Dee Dee has been so wonderful during this entire move-in process. She helped me find the floor plan that fits my needs, is extremely efficient collecting all of the documents required, answered all my questions quickly and has been very clear setting expectations for what’s to come. I love the bridge at center ridge!!! Thank you Dee Dee!
Leasing agent Dee Dee provided excellent service! She took out the time to give me and my roommate a full tour of both properties. We loved the property and her service so much we decided to sign our lease that same day! We look forward to be residents because of this pleasant experience Thank You Dee Dee..
Very friendly and professional staff. DeeDee did a great job explaining procedures and policies while giving us a excellent tour of our new home. Not to mention she was fast and efficient with any documents needed or questions and concerns. I highly recommend Bridge at Center ridge, I felt at home before I even moved in!
Deedee is the sweetest women at the front desk and helped me and my fiancé get our apartment. Super patient with us and gave us great customer service!
A great place to call home and kind, caring staff! The property is well-maintained, with a lovely pond and resort style swimming pools. I just renewed my lease for my fourth year here. The longest I’ve ever lived in an apartment community. I have to give a shout out to Dee Dee for making me feel special by showing her concern for my comfort here. I also received a carpet shampoo which made a huge difference! Also, shout out to Juan and his maintenance team! My a/c went out four times in one week last summer. Each time the maintenance staff showed up within 30 minutes and got my a/c running again. I haven’t had a problem with a/c since. I highly recomend the Bridge. Thank you for all you do to make this a great place!
Stay away from these thieves! The email module on their website is spotty so now I am paying an extra month of rent simply because their module never delivered my email letting them know I wouldnt be renewing. The gates never work and strangers come in and out as they please. Parking is a nightmare and youre lucky if you make it through your lease without having your car scuffed by other cars trying to navigate the tight parking spots.
I visited this property and Dee Dee Cheatam greeted me with a smile. And even though is was close to closing time she took the time to show the property and answer any questions I had without me feeling rushed. I have signed a Lease and through the process Dee Dee was quick to answer my emails and made everything go smoothly. Its always so nice to find someone so professional and pleasant to work with!
A great place to call home. The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. One night I realized my disposal didnt work and the maintenance team was there the next day to immediately fix it. I love the interiors. They are beautiful, spacious, well planned, and very comfortable to live in. Best views by far.
I have been really really happy living here. Safe, quiet, nice spacious apartments. Really great price for the size. Moved from another state site unseen and it was a great apartment to save money and live close to my work. Would stay longer if I wanted to stay in North Austin. Only negative has been its relative distance from downtown (~23 min). When I first moved in a few things needed to be fixed but the maintenance men were prompt, courteous, and skilled. Everything I needed done was fixed in the next day or two. Office people here are great. The pool is SO NICE.
I’ve currently been living in Austin going on 5 years now and just signed a new lease at the Bridge at Center Ridge with Dee Dee Cheatman! Let me just say she has made this the easiest process I have gone through when it comes to signing a lease! she was very welcoming and went out of her way to make sure all my needs and questions were met. The Bridge was at the top of my list so I’m really happy I will be moving in Very soon!
Fantastic facility and apartments. The pool area is amazing and the apartments are modern and adorable. Great pricing for the Austin area as well. Ask for Dee Dee in the office SHE IS A DOLL! Helped me through so many issues I had with the application and is always available to help.
Dee Dee, at the front desk, is awesome! I was in a bind to quickly find an apartment. She was helpful and gave me a tour of the complex. Also, whenever I have questions, shes quick to answer. I appreciate Dee Dee and ALL that she does!! She my favorite apartment peep!!
Amazing place to live - great staff and management. We left for a year and totally regretted leaving so were coming back. Dee Dee is the best! Super helpful and always friendly! Cant wait to come back. Thank you Dee Dee!
Yesterday I was looking for apartments and stumbled upon the bridge at center ridge. When I walked in the main office Stephanie greeted us at the door and made us feel right at home. Don’t worry about going in thirsty because she offered us candy and water. She was very detailed while describing the place on our tour of the apartments. Overall great customer service.
Dee Dee helped us move into our apartment and made the process super easy. She was helpful and fast at responding. We love the Bridge at Center Ridge, amazing amenities. Only wish that one of the pools was a hot tub and there was a bigger dog park.
Affordable rent for the size and quality of the apartments. Dee Dee in the front office is very friendly and gladly answers any questions you may have. The grounds are well kept, lots of space to walk your dog, and the complex pool is beautiful.
Deedee was very kind and compassionate to my needs. She is always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. Every day when I interact with her she has a wonderful smile and lovable personality. Deedee is the one to go to for issues at hand and she always has an answer or will get right back to you with a suggestion or help for your needs.
I will be moving in soon and let me tell you, this staff is VERY professional! They actually care about who will be living there and will try to go above and beyond what they can do to get you into an apartment. Dee Dee.. OMG this lady is SUPER AWESOME! Very polite, very professional and GENUINE ! Anyone that I have come in contact with in the office from Jacob to Jamie have treated me with respect and have been very helpful! Cant wait to move it!
I have lived at the Bridge at Center Ridge for over a year (renewed and have recommended to friends). I have nothing but great things to say about the staff, Dee Dee is always available and ready to help in the office, quick and efficient maintenance responses, and overall quality of the apartments. Happy to have found such a high quality apartment at a reasonable price with great people working there
From the first communication to post move-in, the team (Dee Dee and Jacob) at Center Ridge have been responsive and extremely helpful. The property is well-kept and the landscaping is beautiful.
Im about to finish my second month here and have been completely impressed with the management and love everything about this property. Ive lived in many apartments before and have never experienced such a problem-free place. The walls are thick, the a/c is effective, there is enough space and their pest control/door/window seals are on point - from my experience that can be a huge/the biggest issue! Theyre quick to address the tiny issues Ive mentioned, theyre gym is well stocked, and the pool and water feature/nature scenery is all an added bonus. Even the mail and shipping is above and beyond. HEB around the corner and Walmart across the highway. I would recommend this place to anyone!
The property is in a good location and looks great! Maintenance is quick to respond, takes care of everything, and management is quick to solve problems and always friendly. I have no plans to leave.
I’ve been a resident at the Bridge @ Center Ridge (previously known as the Marquise @ Center Ridge) since 2014. Over the past few months, the community has quickly become unpleasant; neighbors are rowdy, there is constant through traffic from sister complex, there are abandoned vehicles occupying parking spaces, neighbors are leaving breezeway trashy, neighbors are not picking up pet fesses, security gates are never working, transients are perusing through community, visitors have no respect for person nor property, and Top Flight security is no where to be found. Unfortunately, due to the “fabulous” prices the management is now allowing anyone to move in.The community has went from a 5* to a 1* compared to how pleasant the apartments once were. I will not be signing a new lease.
I want to give big thanks to Deedee she was awesome in helping me with everything and made me feel welcome thank you again
I will likely post two reviews since I am hoping to move in July 2018 but so far, I have had the most wonderful experience working with Dee Dee during the application process. She was guiding my friend and I step-by-step through the process and answering all of our questions to the best of her knowledge. During my recent apartment hunting, I experienced poor customer service, which easily made me move on to the next complex (even if it checked everything off my list). But Bridge at Center Ridge won me over for being under our budget, a great location, and most importantly great customer service from Dee Dee. I will write again in a few months after having lived here for some time but until then I cant wait to move in!
Just got finished doing the process for this complex. The atmosphere is amazing and from the help from front office staff member Stephanie! She helped me find a new blessed home!! I’m so grateful for her gratuitude and can’t wait to see the new home 😄❤️
I moved in over a month ago and have no complaints whatsoever about this apartment complex! Taylor gave me a tour whenever I inquired and I signed the same day. Whenever I moved in, everything was ready for me and Erick made the transition as smooth as possible. I definitely got lucky with this place!
Great area and location. Awesome staff. I love my new place..
Ive lived here since April 2016. This is the first place Ive lived where I actually feel as though Im surrounded by quiet people, and that the office employees are not in my business 24/7. Despite some of my neighbors throwing their trash out of their 3rd floor bedroom windows because theyre too lazy to deliver it a few steps to the dumpster, this has been my favorite place to live so far.
I am so dissapointed about the staff in this residence, as soon as my lease ends I will move to other place.3 important reasons:- It is not safe, the gates are always open, no gate codes are needed,- There are not spots to park.- My aunt has been treated really bad, the manager was negligent, it is a long story that you will be able to read here...was a resident for almost 2 years there, I always paid my rent on time. Last year in October with so much effort I bought a house, I informed the managers assistant and other people from the office about this situation, they never told me I needed to send a letter to notify them formally. At this point I was not under a contract. My contract had not been renewed and I was only paying month to month. I assumed that because we had discussed this arrangement I was not obligated to provide 60 day advanced warning. Since November I tried to talk to the manager but she wasnt there, for 3 consecutive Saturdays no one provided me assistance. My nightmare started in December, a new assistant told me I could just send a letter by email, then the manager finally appeared, she replied to the email warning me that they will charge me more than $4000.00 because I had to do it 60 days in advance. They explained to me it is because they cannot rent it immediately. The huge surprise is my neighbors told me they rented it after 10 days!! So basically they receive much more money for 1 apt! I wonder how many people have been scammed here... I have proof of it ( videos and pictures). When I wanted to talk to the manager she lost her mind, she was acting really violent and almost kicked me out, she is racist, dishonest, and is hardly ever at work... The only reason I posted this note is because we cannot talk in a civilized way and I dont understand how they have someone with such poor people skills in such an important position and representing the company. It seems unfair that I have to pay over $4000 due to their mistake.
Very friendly staff and great property! Ive had nothing but positive experiences with the staff (DeeDee and Stephanie) at Center Ridge. Prompt responses to my questions and moving in was easy.
Property in a great area and their staff was wonderful! Wood floors and spacious apartment i loved staying there! Only moved because i relocated to another state.
Updating this review after living here for almost 5 months I can say I am pleased with the apartment and its staff (Dee Dee and maintenance for always looking out for me). Whatever you need they get done for you that day or within minutes to a few hours. You dont need to constantly follow up and they keep in touch with your needs! Pretty safe (night time patrol), quiet, and high quality apartments with normal residents. Solid option out of all apartments Ive seen and considered for wanting to live in North Austin. For as long as I want to live in North Austin and/or 10 mins from the domain I will probably stick with this place!
I have lived here long before it was The Bridge about 10 years and Ive seen this property grow into a very nice and beautiful complex. The current owner is one of the best in the business and he does not mind investing in this property and making sure it stays nice. As residents we have a responsibility to do our part to help keep our community nice and beautiful. Now you will always have a hand full of residents who just dont care about anything period. These people dont care about how the property looks, how their actions affect their neighbors...Loud music, smoking weed, trash outside their door, riding through the property music blasting. These are the people that bring down the property. So for everyone who wants a nice place to live lets do our part to keep it nice, we have a Great Manager and staff and our maintenance team is Great as is the owner. We all and I mean ALL of us will have to do our part to live together and be respectful and courteous to our property and our neighbor.I got nothing but Love for ALL the residents here at the Bridge...☺☺☺
Really great place to be. It has a nice pool and most of the rooms are pretty good. I loved being there.
Thank you Deedee for everything youre awesome 😁!
I havent moved in yet, but I had a very pleasant sign-up experience. Dee Dee was GREAT help and she worked hard to get our documents in order and get the apartment we wanted.
Thus far my experience has been great! Mrs. Dee Dee is awesome sauce and helpful and I cant wait to move in!
Looking for a new place to call home I stumbled upon The Bridge at Center Ridge. Not knowing what to expect and overwhelmed. Leasing agent DeeDee Cheatam, who was very warm and welcoming and walked me through the whole apartment renting process. I’m very thankful for having the opportunity of moving into the Bridge. Thank you so much, DeeDeefor all your wonderful help!!!
I would say this place is just “okay”. Leasing office staff seem nice, rent is cheap, maintenance is on point, and I’m content with the overall comfortability. With that being said though, I have a few complaints. I never got to see my actual unit before I moved in because it wasn’t available to show at the time. When they flipped the unit for my move in, they neglected to clean the dust off all of the floor boards and any other surface they repainted, so the paint looks dirty and you can see visible specks. I had 2 broken cabinet doors and there was mold completely consuming the inside of my shower head. I’ve lived in many different apartments and this was by far one of the laziest flip jobs I have ever seen. The worst part (at least for me) is the parking situation. It’s a TOTAL nightmare. I work nights and I don’t get home until 2 or 3 am most nights and there’s very rarely a spot within a 1 min walk of my building. My building is the 2nd building after I enter the gate and I have to park on the complete opposite end of the complex most nights. What happens when it’s raining? Or I have to bring in groceries? I have to walk a few min in the rain and groceries take me 20+min to bring in. Tried to park in handicap temporarily to do this and save time and I got harassed almost immediately by patrol. Also, all of the spots near the buildings are compact spots and people park like complete jerks taking up multiple spots. This is unacceptable. There were only 6 available spots in the entire complex. I drove around twice and counted. There are a lot of physical spots and there are plenty of garages that I’ve literally never seen anyone use. There’s no way there’s that many cars that live here. So a lot of people either have multiple cars or there’s people parking here that don’t live here. I recommend parking passes for residents or fixing the damn gate (been here 5 months and it’s never worked) because I probably won’t be living here after my lease is up if the parking continues to be this bad. If you have better options than here, go with them.
Super friendly staff & amazing property! Elexis was extremely helpful & did a great job at making me comfortable in the starting process of looking for a home. I highly recommend contacting this property &/or Elexis if you are transitioning from home to apartment home, its a VERY comforting environment.
Does not answer office phone.*IS NOT* LOCATED NEXT TO Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park. Runners, bikers, and outdoor enthusiasts will love the freedom of the trails. Canoe, paddleboard, or fish Walnut Creek for a perfect summer weekend in the heart of Texas. We are also walking distance from Austin Community College Northridge, a great campus for walking your pet or taking a watercolor class. There web site designer sucked at this
I have no complains at all, prices are awesome staff its so wonderful and welcoming including maintenance they take care of everything so quick, grounds are so well keep, love the costumer service, Thank you guys for caring about your residents !!!
My experience Have been great Im going on 2 years and I cant find any reason to complain I will be doing another year if possible love the level of professionalism of staff and maintenance
The leasing agent they have its one of the worst ones Ive dealt with. I called to get information about possibly leasing there and her tone of voice couldnt have been worse, I literally had to continue asking specifics about the unit to get a word out. I decide to show up in person and see if I got a different experience than what I had over the phone but was highly disappointed, such a nice property for such shitty leasing agent that acts like its such a hassle to show future prospects the property and give information. Will not be leasing there and mainly because I dont want to deal with leasing staff that will make my stay uncomfortable and act like they hate their job. I deff dont mind paying more for a place that I know I will be helped professionally.
Great front office staff. Ms. DeDe is the best. Good maintenance team
Dee Dee made the application process a breeze and kept us informed and updated with our application.
I had an awesome experience with Dee Dee she was friendly and made everything go smooth! Thank you for having her!
Toured the complex today and the leasing office was very welcoming and helpful! Had a great experience!
Like the previous reviews have mentioned, they NEVER answer the phone. You have to make time from your busy schedule to walk in if you want to contact them. Very inconvenient.
Writing of behalf of M.R. I have been a resident of The Bridge for almost 1 1/2 years. My encounters with DeeDee Cheatam have always been pleasant! She is always cheerful and helpful. She is my favorite employee at The Bridge. Five stars for DeeDee!
Incredibly rude. First of all, I walked up and the leasing office door was closed even though there were people inside. Then finally a woman poked her head out the door and asked, Sorry, but can I help you? Like Im somehow annoying her with my presence? I said I would like to look at apartments and she told me to come back over an hour later. Thanks, but Ill be looking elsewhere. If this is how you treat potential residents, I dont want to know how you treat current ones. (Management: Woman working at 11:30am on 1/21 needs more training on how to deal with customers.)
Awesome worker ms.Dolores chatmen keep up the great job
Very upset was told by Taylor I was moving into the Bridges at tech ridge just to sign the lease and after the fact look more into it and notice I had a different address and it was center ridge. Once I told them they brushed it off like it wasnta big deal and said there was nothing they could do. I feel lied too and tricked. On another note I was at center ridge to go over my lease and get the keys and the lady was late didnt arrive till 10:15?....I am VERY upset and not please. So far the outside seems very ghetto ugly bright orange cheap looking... Lets see how this goes Im honestly more looking forward to this 12 lease being over. If you see Taylor beaware she might accidently forget to mention important details....
They dont do anything about bug/insect infestation
Great staff great office!!! One of the best places to live in Austin!!
Ive delivered for Amazon for almost 7 months now and this is the first apartment complex that I have had an issue with when leaving a package at the front office. The Bridge is labeled as a luxury apartment complex, so when I arrived with 4 packages to different apartments, I originally took them into the office to see if they would prefer for me to leave them in the office. Most high end apartment complexes gladly take packages for their residents to prevent theft, which is a huge deal in the Austin area. One package in particular had specific instructions to leave at the leasing office. Dee Dee was the only person there and right off the bat she made it clear that holding packages for residents was a courtesy only, meaning they dont necessarily have to hold them for anyone if they dont want to. She told me to return them to her if noone was home at the apartments, including the package that had clear instructions to leave at leasing office regardless. She was not displaying a luxury level of customer service in my opinion. Working in customer service for over 10 years I know that wording different policies and procedures when conveying them to customers can make a huge impact on the experience! When all packages were delivered except for the last one that was supposed to go to the office, I followed instructions and knocked on the customers door to ensure noone was home. On their front door was sign that read, Please do not leave any packages at our front door, our neighbors are huge pieces of ---- and are stealing them. Leave at leasing office, they will sign. Thanks! . So, my original thought was correct, the customer had been getting robbed, and wanted the office to hold the packages. I took a picture of the sign on the door and brought it to DeeDee to see. I asked her if she was aware of this matter and why she would still insist on me going to their door and seeing if they were home. She said she had no idea of the matter and that usually packages are safe at the front doors and that she never heard of people getting robbed in her apartment complex. Being a victim of package theft myself and working for Amazon, I am very careful when I deliver my packages, hiding them whenever possible and clearly adhering to the customers selected preferences. Dee Dee then said shed accept the package but wont sign for it, so I told her I needed a signature by whomever was accepting the package if it were someone other than the owner. She again refused, but then offered to sign the General Managers name but not her own, and that is when I cut her off and stated She was not allowed to sign another persons name when accepting packages. Ive never heard of a person willing to sign their managers name instead of their own! I was very upset and told her I was going to call Amazon support about this issue because it was a break in service to customers who live in that apartment complex. I went to my car, called support, notified them of the situation and watched as Dee Dee came out to my car read off my license plate to whomever was on the phone and went back inside. I gave her my name, too, just in case she wanted to relay the situation to her manager. The customer was also notified that I had an extremely difficult time handing off their package to the leasing office. Needless to say, this is the first time Ive written a review for a delivery Ive made with Amazon. They are a great company, with great customer service, and great products, but when apartment complexes fail to properly protect their grounds from theft, and packages go missing, Amazon has to bite the loss and replace everything at their own cost.
I just renewed my lease again and im just loving it here.the staff is great and the maintenance mens do a wonderful job he, they are on top of everything i love work with mrs Dee Dee and we have a new young man in the office name jacob, he fresh but he will do alright here.WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE...IM SO HAPPY THAT I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE TO MOVE HERE .PEACE AND QUIET,THE GROUNDS ARE KEPT UP REAL GOOD AND I JUST LOVE THE POOL AND THE GYM.THE STAFF IS REALLY GREAT, DEEDEE AND STAFF ARE GREAT. EVERYTIME I COME IN TO USE THE COMPUTER. THEY MAKES ME FEEL RIGHT AT HOME HERE,WHAT A GREAT STAFF AND A WONDERFUL MANGER.
RENTERS BEWARE: As you will undoubtedly notice from every other review on the internet that the landlord hasnt authored, this place has gone downhill ever since being taken over by Clayton, Williams, and Sherwood (CWS). Wife and I lived here for four years without any complaints, but weve dealt with an unresponsive and shady landlord ever since CWS took over. Drainage issues with the bathtub and a broken garbage disposal have not been repaired despite numerous requests for help. Furthermore, we have been repeatedly billed for late fees or other bogus charges related to our rent even though we have been paying the full amount a week early every month. No matter how desperate you might be to find a place to live, do not sign a lease with these people. You will live to regret it rather quickly.
Nice property. Awesome management.
Its been one bad experience after another, literally from the first day! I moved in to the Marquis at Center Ridge complex over Super Bowl weekend to a unit which had been vacant for some time, due to this the water had a strong sulfur smell whenever it was turned on; I was unable to shower or wash my sheets/towels and the stench was permeating the entire apartment so I called the 24-hour maintenance regarding the issue and was told that did not constitute after-hours service and would half to wait until their office reopened Monday morning. They no longer even offer after hours maintenance, which is VERY inconvenient to someone who works and is in school, and due to the lack of after-hours service I was left with a major security risk in the form of a damaged deadbolt for well over a month! I have had packages stolen not only from my doorstep but even gone missing from the office, to which their response was that the post office must have put the package slip in the wrong box... Ive come home to find maintenance slips stating theyve completed work that a) was never in need of attendance in the first place and b) was never requested! When I called management for an explanation, she laughed at the fact that she sent them to the wrong apartment! And the latest, as a full-time student I was offered the opportunity to dog-sit for extra income and called to inform them as a courtesy and was told I would have to pay a $300 deposit, plus an addition pet rent for the duration of my lease when I would have only been watching the dog (which would have been crated at night and while gone) for 5 DAYS!! I cant say its a CWS issue as Ive lived at sister properties, although their corporate office is about as worthless as the onsite management.
No one EVER answers the phone. Tried calling 8 times. This is ridiculous. What do you have a phone for if you never answer? What do you guys do all day in the office?
Great place to live!
Never seen such incompetent management
Extremely rude lady in the office. EXTREMELY RUDE.Edit: you have no record of me being a resident because I never was one and never want to be one. A first impression goes a long way.
I like the Tech Bridge leasing office service, the community here and infrastructure.
Our first month of living there our rent money gets stolenour last month of living there my car gets stolen :(
For the amount of rent that I pay I would expect the office staff to answering the damn phone!
Dont live here, it sucks
Ms. Jade and The Marquis Staff are greats!!!
