Easy place to live. Been here almost two years. It’s on the frontage road which I like because it avoids pedestrian traffic. You can barely hear cars driving on the highway. Downtown is a 15 minute drive - Buda is two minutes away. Large complex with lots of families so keep that in mind.
Would not recommend this place to live! You will move out and they will charge you for all of these “allegations” that are clearly false. Luckily for me I have photos / documents proving all these allegations that I’m being charged with wrong.Take photos before you move out to save yourself!!!
Bad place to move ! they took forever with the application ( 3 weeks ) they charge you so many fees like pest control and NEVER come and spray we had to put in 8 maintenance request to come fix our stuff never called or came by and they would put it down as complete, they never pick up the trash on time my trash has been sitting out there for the past 3 days. so many things wrong with this place
I absolutely loved living here. Even though there was a lot of turnover in staff they were always very helpful. The complex is always clean and quiet. They returned my deposit in a timely manner unlike other places that make you fight for it.
I moved here a few months ago because I needed to live closer to downtown Austin. I recommed this place 10/10. The move in procedure (signing all documents, paying the security deposit, etc.) was super easy and quick. Shout-out to Megan, who from the first minute on interacted with me in the most professional and friendly manner. She answered any questions I had in a very timely manner and went above and beyond to make sure that my happieness as a resident was ensured.I have amazing neighbors and feel very welcome and safe here. The units are clean, modern, and definitely worth their price.
Be careful, they will cancel your application and still charge you application fee.
Terrible customer service. You would think with almost half the country vaccinated, and it being June 2021, that they would open up their office for customers.. nope still not letting anyone in. A roundabout way to be extra lazy.. let people in with a mask guys. The whole world is doing it.
I want to give a big shout out to the maintenance crew they were very promp.and very good at handling this winter storm situation and was making sure all of us tenants were good with everything much love to them
I actually will say 4 stars for apartment layout but 0 stars for office management- unprofessional - Garbriela S. - hangs up on customers when she does not want to take accountability for her errors which is $6000 billing error when I did my due diligence sent in my document promptly. Make sure when you move out to make sure you dont have any mistakes made by negligence.... because they will just brush you off and tell you ... that your file is closed! Luckily I was able to resolve it without having to file a complaint with HUD. If it was not for the that would of gave them 5 stars - may be management might turn over again
Weve lived here for several years (apartment living for over twelve years) and as my family needs have grown, Ive moved into different units. We have enjoyed living here, and found the customer service to be some of the best ever ever had with apartment staff. The units are decently priced and my family had plenty of space. The community was friendly and helpful, which is good and not always present in an apartment complex. We felt safe and concerns were responded to promptly. If we were going to stay in Austin, we wouldnt live anywhere else.
I lived here for one year. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. I loved my apartment. Very spacious with everything one could ask. The location was close to my work and greatly reduced the stress of driving on 35. I would highly recommend you check it out.
I went yesterday me and my wife 2 find one bedroom for rent on July first .the People in the office they was very nice .the place is very beautiful.the apartment it’s really nice inside and room in big and balcony big .i recommendation and it’s worth It will for 1200$ a month .
We relocated to Austin for work. We had never seen Onion Creek Luxury Apartments until the day of move in. While I will say if you have kids opt for first floor, as the walls are thin and foot steps can be heard much louder than you think. Our family was happy here for the year we lived here. Also, take care of your apartment as you should. Move out process went so well! Our account was closed within 24 hrs and we are actually getting part of our deposit back!! There were four of us and a lab in the apartment. Youll love the pool. The only suggestion wed have is fixing up the dog park as it doesnt look like the pictures online. The girls in the office are great! So helpful. Understanding. Efficient. The maintenance guys have a lot on their plate. They are nice once you get to talking with them. They should be appreciated much more than they are.
Moved here in Aug, so far the service request has been completed pretty fast.
Upon move out you will be charged extra fees that are not explained to you when signing paperwork and the management property personnel Tyra Lindquist is very rude and will not reply with explanation of the charges or will just out right ignore you. I was charged for extra rent that was not adding up right and when asked the property management personnel just write it off as they didn’t charge the full rent amount in the last months charges. I would not recommend this place or any sister properties to military personnel or families looking for an honest place to live.
Weve lived here for 7 months and this apartment has been a problem since day 1. Roaches. Are. Everywhere. No matter how clean you keep your apartment or how much you spray. Our cabinet doors are constantly falling off. Were still waiting on work orders to get done from the first week we moved in. Our AC has stopped working twice. The management is inconsistent and lie; We cant have bicycles on our balcony or we get letters on our door for being unsightly; yet everyone seems to have one on their balconies. They told us to let our faucets drip so the pipes wouldnt freeze, and then the pipes right in front of the leasing office burst so now theres only 1 entrance and the gates are wide open...not to mention the water was flooding the parking lot for 2 days until they shut it off. The water is currently turned off to 10 buildings. The pool is closed a lot and you can only have 1 guest per apartment. The place is inconsistently micromanaged and its not worth the hassle. NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR HASSLE.
MOVING OUT UPCHARGED! I recently learned that onion creek charged me 765 of who knows what. I have not lived there for 6 years now and am unsure why it would take this long for me to learn that. I contact the property and was referred to the account specialist who has a fax phone number, i called back onion creek and requested a diff phone number or email address and they provided me with another phone number that goes straight to a voicemail. It is unclear who represent onion creek after moving out. I had never dealt with a property that seems so unorganized. If someone who is willing to help can call me back this post will be removed. if you are planning to move here know ahead of time that moving out will cost as much a 1 months rent.
I have lived in this apartment since January 2012. It’s the most spacious 1 bedroom in the area. Easy access to everything. There has definitely been ups and downs but apartment living isn’t for the faint of heart. Some negatives are the the walls are thin and you always run the risk of inconsiderate neighbors. I have gone through my fair share. The staff aren’t the most efficient but have always been friendly and have always corrected any mistakes. There has been a lot of turnover in the staff over the years but the current ones are great! The maintenance guys are awesome and take care of issues promptly although in the 6 years I have lived here, I haven’t had many issues. The parking definitely sucks and there is no designated guest parking so many people take up spaces. I eventually got a covered parking space and that has been awesome. The apartment rules are strict but that’s because people don’t take care of what isn’t their’s so people have ruined things in the past, like bringing glass to the pool and the pool having to shut down. My biggest complaint is the mail... I order a lot from online and I am not home when the office is open so I usually have to wait till the weekend to get my packages so that’s super irritating. It would be cool if they had a better system. Overall, I love this place and don’t plan to move until I buy a house.
TL;DR this place is a business that wants you to pay for anything they want.3 reasons#1 they dont require renters insurance - didnt know what renters insurance was. So I was forced to pay 4.5k in damages.#2 they never tow away cars that shouldnt be there - I had a car without a parking sticker for 6 months without ever getting a warning.#3 theyll over charge you when you try and leave - I had deep cleaned the whole place and they had the gall to give me a 450$ fixer uper bill right after I handed them a check for 2.3k for the last of the repairs. Even though on move in I found 2 rusty nails I could have stepped on during move out/in (I found one on move in and the other when I moved out) plus it was on carpet I could have been not warring shoes.I could have gone into other details. The gym closes at 9pm-10pm . The trash isnt removed when I am at my apartment for once but never pick up when I am. They keep putting mail in my box that doesnt belong to me or my roommate. But those werent really a problem to me.
WARNING PLEASE BE AWARE THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU WHEN YOU MOVE OUT!!!!! PLEASE BE AWARE!!!! NO ONE DESERVE TO BE IN THIS SITUATION!!!! SYSTEMIC RACISM!!!! DONT GET OVERCHARGED!!!! PLEASE CONTACT Shelton & Valadez TO REPRESENT YOU AND GET COMPENSATED!!!! READ THE EMAILS!!! EXTORTION BY OVERCHARGING EVERYTHING!!!
Been living here since 03/18 and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about OCLA. Its a great place to live & close to everything that I need. I do intend on signing another lease once my year is up. I would def recommend this apartment complex to others!
These Luxury Apts are definitely the place you will want to call home! The staff is friendly, helpful, always remembering holidays or events, the whole complex is clean and maintained, security is never a problem, no rift raft, plus the monthly rent is quite affordable!
Lived all over Austin in the past 25 years. Just signed a fifteen month lease and so far in the past couple of months things have not been so bad. I was notified by the staff that information on my occupant would be processed, I was okay with that at least I was notified. I agree with other writers, the rent is pretty steep for what you get and the walls are thin; but the economy speaks to that in Austin. The apartment itself is not bad, make sure you spot check any apartment you choose and take pictures or walk through with a video cam. Right now, Im happy with my new place but lets see how things go in the next several months. Ill be back.**8-15-2013 Okay, so I completed my fifteen month lease; and renewed a one year lease, heres my review. The first year there were constant repairs on the security gate which can potentially increase rent to re-coup repair costs. A suggestion was made; post security cameras, since then; there havent been as many repairs, maybe one - kid you not. The office staff has changed from a year ago; the staff always seem to be OCCUPIED, you can find yourself waiting for someone, anyone to acknowledge your presence. No complaints about receiving packages, no complaints about rent payments, no complaints about unit service requests; they are usually pretty quick about repairs. Some neighbors are a bit more careless; when it comes to placing trash in receptacles; than others but youll have that problem anywhere you go in Texas. So, no major complaints about the Apartments here. I choose to give them a high rating.
I lived at this place for four years. The apartment was nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. The maintenance staff was always very prompt to respond to request. As far as the leasing staff goes, they were always nice but not always helpful. I think it has to do with the training and direction they get from the management company and not a personally trait of each staff member. Brie was great though! kind, understanding and helpful. Overall I had a good experience renting at this complex and recommebd it to others.
I would suggesting adding a carport to the lease if one is available due to full lots toward the end of the day. The majority of the time it is quiet. Noise from the IH is minimal. Shopping and downtown close by. No package notification, use tracking. Trying to observe the staff before judging. You have to add family members to lease if they visit youoften. The leasing office states that this way they can go wherever they want. Not sure if this applies to everyone or only those that are interrogated when entering a leased apt? Due diligence in process.🤔
My bestie lives there so I went to visit with her. My goodness they are beautiful in the inside and wooden floors absolutely great perk to have in an apt. And spacious.
I wish I had read the reviews before I lived here. I lived here from 2008-2010. Reading these other reviews, I just smile, thinking about how they screwed ME over as well. Dont get me wrong, I LOVED my apartment, it was beautiful. I took great care of the place, thinking I had a snowballs chance in hell of getting my deposit back. Unfortunately I had a cat who broke some of the blinds, so there goes that. The management, who I am certain has changed by now, was horrible, rude, ugly, useless people who loved to harass, threaten, criticize, and charge for everything. Of course they wouldnt listen. OH NO, trash was on the porch for an hour! I am SO SORRY I left my Christmas decorations out! There was never anywhere to park in front of my own building, I always had to walk across several parking areas, which is fun with groceries and a kid in tow.The walls ARE paper thin, I had a neighbor call the cops nearly every time I laughed.Did I mention how rude and hateful the management was? They went in, a day before my lease was up, and cleaned out everything, claiming my apartment had been abandoned. Um, yeah, I was just there the day before, moving and cleaning. They are still trying to charge me $4000 for a bunch of bullshit, years later, including $800 for TRASH REMOVAL. EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS. For trash!!While I adored the apartment, having to deal with the stress of jerks and liars is just not worth it.It warms my heart to see that not much has changed; hopefully karma will get these scammers in the ass. If I can stop just one person from wasting their money (and happiness) there, I will have won.
Snakes. Dont ruin your time in Austin by staying at this place. I dont know where to start all I can say is I always felt unwelcome here. First off dont leave anything on your balcony. Theyll leave letters each and every single freaking time. I lived on the third floor (like anybody could even see up there) and once left a basketball on the balcony. BOOM !!! Letter on my door. Towel from pool BOOM letter on the door. Golf bag BOOM letter on the door. Theyll threaten you with fines. So forget about using your balcony for anything else but a chair !!!!! On top of that constant glares from staff and maintenance.Gate was always broken. Also upon leaving we didnt get the final bill till 3 months later. Once we did it had a $130. bill for blinds which we reported were broken when we moved in. Ive tried contacting them sense and apparently no one can handle the matter except only one lady. Whos never in the office and never calls back. Im glad to have left this place and moved on. Theres such a bad taste in my mouth. Beware there SNAKES!!!!!
Very unsafe environment. I live in these apartments and cut my self on broken counter tops and the management ignores issues and way over priced. Steer clear of this establishment. I wouldn’t not recommend anybody to rent from this apartment complex. Law suit filed.
Just moved out to be closer to work, and I’m really going to miss living at OC. Best staff and the maintenance staff is really nice. Please consider checking out this place. They are ADA friendly and won’t charge you extra for disabled reserved parking. Bye luxury living at OC!
Do not move here. Completely overpriced for how sub-standard the apartments and complex are (paying at least 200$ less for a bigger, nicer place closer to central Austin). We constantly had bugs, and maintenance took forever to complete requests. Mandatory fees made rent over 100$ more than they told us upon application. Terrible traffic and noise from I-35; good luck trying to get anywhere quickly. I should have known from how much they screwed us during the application process that things would only get worse. Lesson learned! Now (after move out) theyre charging us hundreds for things we paid to have replaced before we left. I would try the Asher next door! Newly renovated everything (;
REALLY disappointed with this apartment complex. We needed a short term lease and were sold on leasing terms that were not accurate. We werent able to see our specific unit ahead of time and were disappointed with the quality of the apartment. For example: our neighbors smoked and our apartment would wreak of smoke when we came home from work. The bathroom regularly smelled like sewage. Neighbors were horribly loud and when we called the on-call security phone number, no one would answer and voicemails were never returned. Issues with bugs in the apartment. The dog park is covered in dog poop and since the dumpster is right next to it, it always smells bad. This is a gated apartment community and one of the gate key pads doesnt work and the gate doesnt close, making an easy entryway for non-residents. We reported it twice to the leasing office and it was never fixed during the several months we lived there. The leasing office doesnt respond to voicemails or emails, so you have to catch them while they are in the office - which can be troublesome if you work full time. I completely regret living here and would not recommend it to anyone. Now we get to continue to pay rent and utilities on a crappy apartment that we dont live in anymore. Super overpriced for the quality and level of service - VERY DISAPPOINTED.
DO NOT LEASE WITH THEM.. I am not the type to leave negative reviews but ONION CREEK LUXURY APARTMENTS really screwed us over. When we moved in not very long into our lease the AC started to leak from its into the wall which lifted up the wall and into the flooring it took them almost a week to fix all that mess which we were only able to use one bathroom which the water pressure was so low, Second the Living Room wall started to crack out of no where and i mean crack across the whole living area we called the front let them know what was going on they had someone go just to cover it with some type of pud din and paint over it. And of course the crack across the wall came back after a few weeks. Theres a lot of roaches that was never taken care of, now i gave a deposit of $600 I was only give $40 back, so basically I am paying for them to clean the air duct (which by the way the whole yr i was there never once did they go clean ) hello i am only a renter I dont own the property it not my job, second I also paying for them to clean keep in mind that we DID NOT LEAVE THAT APT FILTHY. WE CLEAN IT but we are paying them to clean it to get it ready for whoever moves in next. We are being charge for the cracked wall which we had nothing to do with that..I regret leasing with this apartment complex and the only reason i gave it a star is because i had too but i would give it a BIG FAT NEGATIVE RATING.. I dont recommend this place at all.. Apparently theres no number to contact Head Quarter which its a LIE. I feel robbed and taken advantage of. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THESE APARTMENTS UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO REALLY GET SCREWED OVER BY THESE LYING PEOPLE.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. The management is hard to reach and super unqualified for their jobs. In one instance, I dialed the front office and after many rings (during open office hours) the call was forwarded to an answering machine giving me the option to press 1 to leave a voice message. When I pressed 1, the machine looped into another round of ringing and led back to the same answering message with absolutely no point for me to leave a message.... The complex will swindle your money at any chance they might get. Dont do it. Big regret not reading any reviews before signing a lease here.
Overall, the staff sucks. They try to get you to sign a lease and act all innocent when new people are there but when you move in, they are rude and nasty. They take FOREVER to get maintenance to fix things. The guys are lazy, lazy, LAZY. The girls are liars, liars LIARS.The manager will smile to your face and then stab you in the eyes while laughing. Then there is Sarah who is just nasty and talks to you like youre taking up her precious time.If you move here, DONT MOVE OUT!! They will take you for every penny you have while they smile at your face and STEAL from you.
What a horrible living experience, capped off by an even more unpleasant moving experience. Through the last 6 months of our 12 month lease the building our apartment occupied was overrun with roaches, and despite our continued pleas for help from the front office, not once did anybody come to help. Nevermind that the front office staff was sometimes absent and ALWAYS rude and unhelpful. Oh, and their maintenance crew will attempt to rob you.
We thoroughly enjoyed living at Onion Creek! The staff always took care of any issues we had and we always felt right at home.
I HATE LIVING HERE!!!!!!!!! I cant wait for my house to get finished. I have lived here for a year and a half. The first 6 months not so bad. But it is a living HELL!!!!!. Its the ghetto on crack. No joking, last month the FBI did an early morning drug bust. I have complained for moths about people double parking. IT HAPPENS EVERY NIGHT ALL THE TIME WITH ABOUT SIX DIFFERENT CARS. I too have gotten the letters about lights, bikes and trash. Really???? If they paid less attention to such stupid stuff and more time on themselves.....I have a few letters of my own. How about getting the cars parked right??? How about putting lights in the hallways so I can see my key to unlock my door at night???? How about getting kids to stop painting on the walls???? How about just having the halls clean and not smelling like a porta potty????? How about getting rid of the roaches instead of sending a scary looking guy with a syringe of white goo?????? IT DOESNT WORK!!!!! There are about 4 brand new apartments being built next door and across the street. GO TO THEM!!!!! Oh yea dont go to the office staff. They LITTERALLY just shrug shoulders and go oh well, cant change anything. Really, that was said to me.
We lived here a year ago and when we move in we had a girl sign us for a 6 month lease, which is exactly what we wanted. Come to find out she sent us the wrong paperwork saying she accidentally sent over a one year contract. Well she then told us she cancelled that contract then we ended up signing one for the 6 month lease. Apparently when we were ready to leave after 6 months they told us that we signed a one years lease..Even though we had the proof we signed the 6 month lease after the gal had messed up the paperwork, the girl ended up leaving this complex and the manager never signed off on the correct lease.. We got a $3,000 bill in the mail not too long ago stating that we broke our lease.. I am appalled and discussed with the way they handled business, We always had bug problems and our bathroom always smelled of pot from one of our neighbors…. This was by far way to expensive for the amount of living space and all the bullshit you will have to be put through. I highly recommend you never rent from this place!
Lovely apartments! Clean complex and nice neighbors
Apartments and facilities are great! Just management need some improvements.
The apartment was filthy when we moved in so we had to clean our place. There was already a stain on the balcony for which they charged us after we moved out and they charged us for pet stains on the carpet....well, we never had a pet in the apartment. We tried calling the Account Resolution manager but they wouldnt remove these charges. There was always a pest problem even though someone came to the apartment to address the issue. Dont waste your time on this apartment complex.
The apartments are fine, plenty of space for a decent price, the management is a joke and seems to be looking for anything to complain about to younger tenets. We had rope lights on our balcony and were asked to take them down or we would be fined, we could not put our bikes on our balcony or we would be fined, if we put our trash out outside of the scheduled times we would be fined. Things that didn’t make a difference in the quality of life while living there seemed to be the biggest deal to the management here but there can be cars taking up 2 spots, moving vans blocking garages, cars sitting in 2 spots for days and no actions were taken. Having to park far away because people can’t park isn’t what I pay 1300 plus got to live here. Recieved a notice of lease ending 2 days ago and was told today that I didn’t give them 60 days notice and that my lease was extended another week, another way to screw money out of the people living here. Find another spot to live, it’s not worth it, it’s not close to anything, you practically live in Buda, 35 is a mess, DONT DO ITEdit:expect canned responses like this from anyone you talk to
Terrible Management. The people in the office are nice, but the company itself is awful. They will charge you money for every little thing, even after you move out. Pool is overcrowded by people who dont even live there. There are many other apartments in Austin that offer the same amenities. I suggest you look else where.
$400 in petty charges billed to us once we moved out of our 6 month lease... This place went so far to find things wrong with our apartment that I guess they found a few hairs on the sink and decided they should write it down. They billed us $15 to replace their cheap blinds that if you so much as look out the window they would bend, $80.90 for carpet cleaning, $99.36 for regular cleaning, $201.02 for PAINT??? I normally do not write bad reviews but I am highly disjointed in this place. Once I received the bill I went up to the office, of course mad, to speak to the person who did our move out walk through with their magnify glass so they could find any little thing to keep our deposit. They informed me that she was not in and to speak to someone based out of San Antonio to resolve the bill. I told her I was not leaving until I spoke to the manager who signed off on the move-out statement. She informed me that the manager was not available. I am sure this is because they do not want to deal with the issue. Though once she saw I was not leaving the manager came out and told me the same thing and basically told me she was going to call the cops if I did not leave. Note: I am sitting down and barely raising my voice... They believe they can play with peoples money any way they please and when you do that I am sorry dealing with the people who you are stealing from is what comes with the territory. They did not apologize for anything, feel bad, and the most unprofessional bunch I have ever come in contact with when dealing with apartment staff. The manager even had the nerve to walk away with out discussing anything with me besides how I needed to call the person in charge of it now. DO NOT RENT FROM ONION CREEK, I promise you will not get your deposit back and billed on top of that.Other Cons:-Very high electric bill: 3 bedroom about $220 on 72-BUGS BUGS BUGS: Huge cockroaches, spiders, beetles inside your 1st floor apartment. My two year old would get bug bites all the time at this place and I was worried a brown recluse was going to get one of my girls, so we had the house very clean just because of this reason.-The patio rules are unrealistic. We had a yard and the did not want any of my girls toys outside, small bbq pit, etc ... What is the point in having a yard.-Did I mention the 2 roaches-Overpriced compared to other nicer apartments. Landmark Double Creek is real luxury w/ yards right across the highway for the same price as this place. We would have stayed there if they had availability when we needed it.I will be disputing the charges but wish we would have listened to the reviews before we moved here... I have other things to worry about than people trying to scam you. If it was $100 that would have been fine and understandable, but $400 give me a break and start doing an honest job when dealing with peoples funds!
My friend lives here and the apartments look great and the layout is great too
I have been renting from Onion Creek for over one year now. I have been paying for a covered carport and now today I get a notice that I am not authorized to park in the spot they gave me one year ago. What idiots!!! Not all of the sudden Im in the wrong place and someone that owns a motorcycle has my carport. WOW!!! I guess Ive been paying for the WRONG place.... Who does with their short memory low class. I would not recommend this to board my dog.
Our overall experience here was ok. Neighbors were nice except the one who hit my car and failed to take responsibility. But that can happen anywhere you go. The thing I want to warn all future renters is that you get no reception in this complex. None whatsoever. We got a box from our cellphone provider thats supposed to enhance the service but it hardly worked which means we would drop calls like crazy. It became common and normal for our family and friends to text us instead of calling bc the calls were always dropped. Because of this Im giving the apt complex only 2 stars. Aside from this, the complex was always kept clean and the office staff was always nice to me. We had to call out pest control several times for ants and little bugs but when called they came right away each time. Parking sucked or at least where our building was but we purchased a carport to help with that. Moral of the review: if you dont talk or text as much on your cell and dont internet surf this is a great place for you. We even purchased an Internet package and still dropped calls and received texts late like crazy. Staff is friendly and maintenance was great. Would I move here again? No. I personally dont like living without a cell phone especially if an emergency were to arise.
Very nice looking high-end area
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! The management is awful, uncoordinated, and rude. Had a roommate move out, another move in she filled the paperwork, paid application fee...8 months later they say she was never put on the lease and even though they had paperwork she needs to fill out new paperwork bc a leasing agent that was let go couldnt validate the paperwork. Not to mention the security is awful, neighbors are too loud, dog poop everywhere, selectively enforce rules to certain residents..just terrible terrible management. DONT live her, the convenience of south austin and 35 is not worth it.
These are very nice apartments but the staff is pushy when you inquire about availability. I decided not to rent mostly because I did not want to have to deal with people like that for 1 year or more.
Very thin walls! Heard everything my neighbors did. Complex is kind of rowdy. Nice pool, but no hot tub. Management changed my lease without authorization when they were bought out, which was annoying!
Horrible Management. Entering Apartments with no consent. Dog leash rule not enforced. Dog poop everywhere. Very noisy. Pool is a white trash gathering place. Pool always dirty. And loud inappropriate music around children. Grills by the pool are filthy as are the tables and counters. Rude and Lazy Management. Cant wait to move!!! Stay away!!!
After I left and paid to have my carpets professionally steam-cleaned, and meticulously went over the whole place cleaning it and making it perfect, Onion Creek Apartments not only withheld my whole deposit, they also charged me $390 because their pest control service, WorldWide Pest Control (actually local to Austin...) claimed they found bed bugs in the apartment subsequent to my check-out.This was obviously worrying to me, since I just moved into my new home with all my stuff! So I had all my belongings inspected by a pest control professional. Guess what: no bed bugs, at all. I didnt introduce bed bugs to that apartment, and there probably werent any when I left, either. But because I didnt know that I should get an INDEPENDENT inspection before I left, Management Support, and specifically their debt collector Tyra Hernandez, refused to alter their bill, OR to provide any actual evidence of infestation beyond an invoice from WorldWide called Bed Bug Agreement.Thats right, not inspection -- agreement! Its pretty obvious from their use of language that WorldWide and Management Support do have a little agreement -- to bleed their former residents with fraudulent charges as soon as they have left.Unless you want to be defrauded, pick a different apartment complex, and make sure that it isnt run by Management Support, or by their owner, the Frankel Family Trust, which is owned and managed by Edward Frankel, and based in Santa Ana, California.Want to know the names of other apartment complex in Texas they own and manage? You should avoid renting at:Ballantyne, Briargrove, Broadstone Desert Sky, Carrollton Park, Chateau De Ville, Crescent Cove, El Lago, Estancia at Ridgeview Ranch, Estates of Northwoods, Estates on Frankford, Lakeview at Parkside, Las Colinas at Black Canyon, Lodge at Shavano Park, Lodge at Westover Hills, Mira Vista, Onion Creek Luxury Apartments, Rancho Palisades, San Antigua, San Marin, Sedona Ranch, Springs of Indian Creek, Stoneybrook, The Palisades, The Vintage, Villas at MedicalCenter, Villas on Hampton Avenue, Villas at Oakwell Farms, Villas at Parkside, Villas in Westover Hills, Villas of Preston Creek, Villas of Vista Del Norte.
I wish I could give no stars. Racist staff. Overpriced. Strung us along for a month before finally telling us that we hadnt been approved. All in all, shite place.
The schools are bad the place has lots of space the pool is so much fun but the dog park is biger then the kids
This place was overpriced, filled with MOLD, so much mold, my whole family was hospitalized for 3 weeks. They were such a hassle to deal with. We moved within 3 months after moving there. Do Not Rent here. Horrible. We were given an apartment that didnt look like the apartment that was shown to us. Then the cabinets in the kitchen were off the wall, microwave was broken, and other horrific things. JUST A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
DO NOT MOVE HERE! If i could give this place zero stars I would. The management is HORRIBLE, the maintenance takes forever and wont even help with most of the problems. You will be harassed every time you use the gym, pool, or basketball course. One month they lost our rent and told us if we didnt have the receipt we would have to pay in full again plus late fees. But as soon as we found the receipt is magically reappeared. The women up front are impossible to get ahold of and when you do they are as rude as can be. Upon moving out they made it impossible to get in touch with them about paying them for moving out fees. This place is a SCAM, they accept anyone good or bad credit because when you move out they make it impossible to get ahold of them. And when you manage to do so, they just simply say I cannot give you any information dealing with that please contact Tyra. If you thought the apartments were hard to get a hold of just wait until you try and get in touch with Tyra. I contacted her 4 days in a row with no response of anything back then the 5th day I receive a letter from the first day that I contacted her saying that if my balance was not paid in 4 days they would contact the credit bureau. I paid the balance before I even received the letter in mail and did not receive any sort of contact back until the day of the date that was given on the letter. This was the worst living experience I have ever had, this place is the biggest scam you could possibly fall for. DO NOT waste your time or money with this place, it was very unprofessional and a nightmare the entire stay there.
The apartment was decent, but this complext is HORRIBLE! When I tried to move out they wouldnt relsease my rent history which made it nearly imporssible to get approved for a new place.. Horrible they said it was their policy.
Poor treatment of people! Very unethical management staff.
Amazing apartments for fair prices considering all of the amenities!!
Not very luxurious. Low class neighborhood.
Terrible not kid friendly and very rude staff best thing that happened to me this year was the lease being up also maintenance guys are super creepy
Horrible customer service and the agent we met with seemed a bit racist in her comments. She made remarks against our Hispanic heritage and culture.
The sad part is that I never lived here but would visit a family member constantly. Almost everyday it was something with this apt complex harassing them. Awful planning on the parking spaces. Could never go to the pool because of their strict rules.
Beautiful homes wonderful staff.
Thank you to everybody who opens the gate for me because I can never get in
The numbering is assanine. I dont know why it goes 6, 1, 2 on one side and then 3, 4, 5 on the other
