Poor customer service skills, lacks respect for people who pay this high in rent and just overall very poor minimal service!! Leasing office acts like anything you may need or issues addressed is an inconvenience. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONES FOR RESIDENTS. I usually call about 6 times just to get through & it’s been times even then no one picked up. It’s ridiculous how many times I have to call to get through, they also don’t answer emails. I’m still getting billed extra on my bill for WINTER STORM WATER...... huh??? Back in February? We’re in September!!!! Ridiculous charges constantly added, $100 rent late fees, random water rates, etc. Management also is never in office or available when needed. Only time I had my call answered was by a lady who stated she doesn’t work at this location. Not to mention in just January we had a +$50 surcharge to our water, which is ridiculous when ever was complete out of heat and water!!! LEASE SAYS NO GRILLING, BUT NEIGHBORS HAVE GRILLS ON PORCHES & OPEN DISPLAY. Very rude staff!! The Apartment staff will even lie and “help” your application just to get you approved, knowing you don’t make that income. Apartments have completely made a turn for the worse.
This place was a very highly anticipated apartment on our list to visit when we flew to Austin together to pick out a place to move to in a few months. We arrived on a nice Saturday and we greeting so happy by the woman at the desk, she quickly informed us that she didnt normally work at this location but works with the same property and property management company at a different location in South Austin and that they were understaffed at the moment. She took us on a tour and knew most of the amenities and we toured the show apartment and even allowed us to go see the one unit they had available for our move in so we could see where we would be. She printed out a 48 unit cost hold so we could hold the price of the unit if it went up at all. We were so excited and trilled that we found one at this place because it was a very desirable location for us.After we flew home, we decided that this was the apartment we wanted to choose as our new home, and called within our 48 hours to apply. Thats when it went downhill. The property manager answered our call, because we just wanted to clarify the price and term, and told us that all the information we had been given was wrong. She said the price of the unit we wanted was for a 10 month lease, not a 12 month lease. (The website as well as our 48 hour hold said 12 months for that price) She also said that the 12 month for that apartment was almost $300 more than a 10 month, (It usually goes the other way, less term for higher rent) and said she would not accept the 48 hold price we had been given for that unit. (Which is Illegal) She further explained that the person who gave us the information didnt work there normally and that is why she wouldnt try and help us.Unfortunately, this brought out some red flags that made our feelings and excitement for this place almost perish. 1) The property manger didnt take responsibility for the employee she hired and had work for her on Saturday, (We own a business and understand that if you dont have staff to work, the managers/owners need to work to make money and she didnt want to work Saturday and brought someone in but couldnt give the correct tools to her and doesnt take responsibility for her) 2) Disregarded the 48 hour hold we were given which is a legal document and acted as if she could care less if we wanted to be there, only about the money, 3) She said the website was wrong or glitched and that it wasnt updated correctly, but we were also told that the website has the most updated information (It has been 2 weeks since we were there and the website is still messed up but more listings are posted so they are monitoring the website but not fixing the issues, money over quality)Please be care when looking at this place for your new home. Poor management and lack of staff quality can make for some bad disasters in the long run of move in and move out service. It seems they have their own agenda. My only hope is if the property management company and speak with their manager regarding these issues. Best of Luck!
Was incredibly difficult to get someone on the phone. Prices on their availability website (secure cafe) are $300-400 less than the real price. Very misleading.
I went on tour with Elysia, and she took the time to show me both units I was interested in as well as show me an available garage so I could measure it! She even helped! The customer service at the property is amazing. My family is new to Texas and will be moving in to join this community on December 31,2020.Thank you Bell Partners for having such a wonderfully culminated team.
Living here for the past 2 years has been amazing! The apartments are very nice, clean, and up to date. My kitchen has an amazing open floor plan with lots of natural light and I love it. The staff, especially Kassandra, is extremely friendly and very helpful, I don’t plan on moving away anytime soon! I recommend these apartments to all of my friends, it really feels like home here ♥️
Bell four points have failed us. They fail to tell you when move here that the central heat wont work if the water is turned off. Here we are in the worst times with electricity but no water which means no heat. Its 47 degrees in my apartment. And now we get an email that its gonna be another 2 days!!!! Better believe before I rent anywhere, Ill be asking hey, if my water is off will I still have heat?
This has been the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. The units were built poorly, staff sucks, theft is rampant from the neighboring complex and they’re WAY over priced! If you choose to rent here, you must be completely out of options or LOVE drama.
I had a great experience at Bell Four Points! I loved my apartment. The assistant community manager, Kassandra, was helpful and kind. My maintenance requests were always taken care of in a timely manner. I would recommend this apartment complex over others in the area.
I went on a tour with Kassandra and I am so excited to have Bell four points be my future home! Kassandra was so welcoming and knowledgeable, she made me feel right at home, she even gave me the run down of all the cool bars and yummy restaurants! I Had an amazing experience and cannot wait to move in 😊
Aquel Davis is an excellent leasing consultant. Thank you so much for being an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable consultant when it came to every single specific question that I had addressed. Aquel listened to exactly what I was looking for and she continued on providing further in depth floor plans options, style of amenities, community activities, and even offering garage options. Its so refreshing to experience a nice welcome to Austin when you are new, such as someone like myself. Thank you so much Aquel!!!!
I CANNOT STRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS PROPERTY!! The office staff is knowledgeable and polite and so so SO helpful! The same can be said about the maintenance staff! The grounds themselves are so well kept and any issue Ive ever had has been met with compassion, empathy and prompt resolution. I have seen members of the staff faced with what I can only imagine are the most absurd complaints from the RUDEST tenants - many of whom Ive seen in these reviews - and I felt compelled to share my incredible experiences. If I could give this property 20 stars I would.
Very good community. Lived here for one year and my experience Is good. Their maintenance team is awesome
Worst apartments I have ever lived, poorly constructed. Floors and walls are thin as paper so you hear everything from your neighbors. If you contact the office about indecent loud behavior from your neighbors, they wont take action theyll tell you its normal apartment living. Trash is all over the breezeways from your neighbors as well, it looks like a ghetto.
Went on a tour with kassandra and she was so nice and helpful! I’m hoping to move in soon! Love this property and their office staff!
Very great! I still live here now-Pros: Great surroundings it was so nice when my family moved here! Great Service, pool ext:)
Its been almost a year and so far its been really enjoyable living here. It is pricey but the apartment is really nice. Maintenance people always do a fast and fantastic job. The office has the nicest staff.Traffic on normal days is bad on 2222 but since the pandemic it isnt that bad anymore and they are making the road wider so thats good. Its right by HEB and Target so you can literally just walk over. The only down side is my upstairs neighbor walks like a giant. The trash butler also admitted that they do not take our recycle bags to the recycle bins. They just dump everything in the trash so don’t bother buying those blue recycling bags.Overall really enjoy my stay.
WOW! I received OUTSTANDING customer service from Ben at Bell Four Points Apartments when inquiring about these beautiful apartment homes!! Ben is extremely informative and caring and gave all my options. He did not rush me but genuinely wanted to help me find my next perfect home! The property is gorgeous and the apartments are very reasonably priced. I cant say enough about Ben. He made the whole process so easy!!
My experience living here has not been a pleasant one. Typically, I dont write reviews however, I feel compelled to write one for this facility. Please understand this review is in no way retaliatory; some of the issues stated are not a fault of property management. Its my honest and objective review based on my personal experiences as a tenant.Issue 1: The person above our flat has been a problem ever since moving in, and likely the reason why this flat was unoccupied. They pace back and forth endlessly, stomping. Some might consider this heavy-footed, however, in order to perform a sanity check, we have had others over to witness it and they all unanimously agreed that it is not heavy-footed walking, it is stomping. This tenant has some manner of abnormality as it begins early in the morning, continues throughout the day and into each night, sometimes until midnight and later on the weekends. Each day, each night, endlessly. It even wakes our 9-year-old daughter and theres no bedroom above hers - can you imagine!? When was the last time youve heard of a 9-year-old kid complaining about noise?! Yes, THAT IS HOW AWFUL AND INTOLERABLE THIS PROBLEM IS. It is so loud it can be heard over our TV, our radio, our bathroom fan, even in the shower! The floor creaks in the bedroom. Its absolute misery for us. Ive filed a complaint with the police so they have it on record if it continues into the future. We have reason to believe it is being done intentionally.Pluses: The bathroom in our place is great. I cant speak for smaller units but it is definitely one of the positives. The kitchen counters are made of a faux granite and are good quality, if only the appliances were to match. Super disappointed that they still use old, black appliances and wont replace them. I think you could sell more units with stainless steel. Just my 2 cents, but then again, Im not in property management. The pool is pretty nice as well. Very well-maintained and always clean. The gym is okay but it could use a good cleaning more often.
I was interested and looking forward to getting more info and touring this apartment. My daughter and I showed up for an appointment I scheduled on their website and was met at the door by a leasing agent who said unfortunately we would not be able to tour because they had just had a tour and needed to clean and sanitize before they could let us in and asked if we could come back in an hour or later in the day. Basically we were inconvenienced because they were not prepared for a scheduled appointment. Apparently they do not check the site for appointments. The leasing agent also said she could not find or see any appointment scheduled even though it was on their direct website under schedule a tour! Would it have mattered anyway? My advice would be don’t bother with this property and look elsewhere. Customer service is not their priority 😕
Love my apartment. Beautiful, quiet property. Great amenities, both in the apartments and on site. Really superb staff and the office is amazingly helpful and professional. They host fun events pretty much monthly. Completely recommend to anyone looking for a new home.
Staff and maintenance are great. Kassandra your the Best.
Its just about an average place to stay. The Assistant Manager is very rude & definitely needs to be polite to a customer. She has no ear for anything you say. Further when you leave deductions are made unilaterally & when you ask for proof, they do not have any photographic evidence that any damage was done. I would definitely say that Kassandra was the only one who was good & helpful in the front office.
We love these apartments! They are one of the most up-kept and clean properties inside and out that you can find at a good price, especially for the area. The staff is super professional, proactive, and SUPER friendly! We are not even eager to upgrade to a home as we used to be since the layout of the apartment is modern and open, the landscaping impeccable, the staff is super-friendly and proactive and the pool is the best for this price range!
Kassandra was so nice and answered all of my questions :)
It is in fact, not even an apartment complex.
Ive lived here over a year now and have loved it. The only problem I had was being charged a late fee when my rent wasnt late, but they immediately credited the fee back to my account after I brought it to their attention. Lovely apartments with beautiful wooden floors and granite counters. Best price for the best quality in Austin. They often serve free food in the leasing office or outside of the office on your way to work in the morning. Ive loved it so far. Management has always been very courteous with me and worked with me instantly if I ever had an issue. Only wish there was a hot tub! Id recommend it to anyone.
There were a lot of issues but I will say they did a great job addressing all the problems with my unit in a timely manner which awards them 2 stars vs 1 - I was initially going to give them a 3 before Stephanie further complicated my move in. The actual move in experience was poor. In regards to the unit itself, it was not move in ready and staff had a lot of time between the lease date and my move in date to prep the unit. Not cleaned, window panels broken, oven was smoking, bathroom and bedroom lights were out (great when I moved in at night not being able to see in my bedroom). When these were corrected I ran into other issues with management. Inconsistency with rules and regulations of the apt caused me having to pay a lot more money to get my contents here. Moved in with a POD but Ben tells me I can definitely at least have the container placed at the back of the facility and Stephanie (community manager i think) totally shuts it down mind you I was speaking with Ben about it for days. I even got an email from the trash valet about not being compliant with the use of the appropriate bins for my trash though I never received a bin. I had to ask for it. I would do retraining for the staff. They are not proactive or attentive to residents. Ensure your policies and restrictions on move in are clearly identified somewhere on the site as well to avoid any problems with residents.
Fair warning... Nice while leasing but the minute your not leasing they set out to destroy your credit and add on charges that are false and add up to unbelievable amounts. Not once reaching out to you to resolve any dispute only sending straight to collections and making your credit destroyed ynd impossible to lease any where else. They are rude and will not talk only argue . The manager seems to always be out or gone or unavailable. Not a place I would refer anyone in the future.
Very rude staff. We are looking for an apartment and drove a long way up to this place for more information. The guy at leasing office said he was booked up and wouldn’t have time today, which was completely fine. But his attitude was horrible and made us think we should never move here to deal with rude staff.
Worse place to live in Austin 😞
There was a fire in one of the units and there was no communication from the management about the incident.Response to management: Fire was on 8/19/18. A management change should not be an excuse. Also this happened like 2 weeks ago. Emery (former management company) would swap staff around when short handed. Emery was a way better management company than Bell.
Nice quality apartments for the price. I like how close it is to the lake but not a fan of the traffic on 2222 and 620. Mila is the best! Shes super friendly and will take great care of you. Always takes the time to listen to your issues and does her best to make sure it was completed. Never fails to follow up. Thank you, Mila!
Benjamin MitchellAssistant Community Manager is the best thing that ever happened for this complex. He is on top of everything and so kind ! P.S he needs a raise :)
This apartment location is great. Its walking distance from Target and HEB, the pool is absolutely beautiful, and the staff has gone above and beyond in making this is a comfortable place to live. I would definitely recommend it to any friend.
Do not let the great reviews fool you! These reviews are for when this community was known as Escape at Four Points. They recently transferred ownership and are now Bell Four Points. In short: Bell corporation came in, and immediately changed our utility billing methodology (without notice) tripling our (the community) utility costs. It took two full months of the entire community fighting this, and ultimately the PUC (Public Utility Company) informing them the change was unethical, and to switch back. They started a community message board to build a stronger community. FYI: It is censored, and if they do not like a post, they will have it taken down. We posted a question to our neighbors asking if Their utility credit seemed correct, and if they felt Bell had made the changes they said they had made. (This was month one of two during the utility billing issue). This question was removed from our online community message board. They are not above towing your vehicle. Yes, even those who live on site, and pay rent. They failed to properly schedule out a tree trimming, and with less than 48 hour notice sent an email saying, anyone parked in in front of said building after 9am will be towed at your expense. This is unacceptable for those who travel for work, or may even be out on vacation. This is only month three of their take over, and they could not pay me to recommend a friend to live here. Its not worth it!
Lived here for 2 years. I didnt like the way they transitioned to the new management company but after a while things started to settle. Escape was so much better of a name! I didnt like how often they closed down the common areas to do maintenance. Staff, even the new ones, were really helpful with noisy neighbors. Also didnt like the thinness of the walls. Wearing shoes in home made a lot of noise and subwoofers or action movies couldnt be enjoyed. All in all Id recommend this place for someone looking for an upscale spacious place to live in the north west side.
Absolute nightmare... no one should deserve to live with pests and especially SCORPIONS for that matter, you call this a place you can call home? I guess you can if that includes belittling, insulting, and pure neglect from your own property manager... no one should be told to get used to having scorpions and other creatures living inside their living space!! are you kidding me? so much for every resident deserves the best, PLEASE STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A PEACEFUL LIFE NOT FILLED WITH PESTS!
Notice all the 5 star ratings are from a year ago. We began our lease while this property was the Escape at Four Points. This spring, Bell management bought the property and it went downhill fast. If used to be a great complex. The new management is beyond rude, they charged crazy fees, refused to fix simple maintenance items, etc. THEN, in the spring, they decided to use river rocks to completely cover a storm drain. The next time it rained, the water had no where to go, except into our first floor apartment, ruining drywall, carpet, and a lot of our furniture. For over a week I had drywall dust coating everything, 5 industrial fans, a dehumidifier, and constructions guys in my apartment non stop. The place was unsafe and unlivable during this week. Bell refused to compensate our hotel fees, saying we could sleep in the apartment (imagine sleeping next to a jet airplane- thats what it sounded like with 5 fans plus a dehumidifier running in a small apartment 24 hrs a day for a week.) Plus we had to crawl over fans, wires, etc. Not safe for my 2 young boys. Management never apologized for their mistake, didnt even come into our apartment. They had their insurance cover their losses, but refused to cover out damaged furniture, despite their negligence. I have never been treated with such hostility and disrespect. Terrible customer service. Avoid this place at all costs!
Despite the high price tag (you get what you pay for), I have had nothing but good experience with this complex. Although the staff changes very frequently, that hasnt changed the level of service you get. Always quick to respond to issues (have only had 1) and leaves you feeling like they actually care.
The service is great. super professional. It is a pleasure to be part of this community.
I agree a third of my rent is water, sewage, gas and trash which is ridiculous for a small one bedroom. While the office staff is pretty friendly my upstairs neighbors are the absolute worst we have complained about them numerous of times and nothing has changed. I’m to the point where it is becoming unbearable and thinking about involving the tenants association to get some time of solution. I shouldn’t have to listen to my doors shaking and dogs barking and running around 24/7. Every time we complain to management they say they will take care of it but it all seems to be lies.
Nice but plenty expensive also you need to know that you pay for your water and your trash. You can cut out the people that pick up the trash and have people take their own trash. I guess I just hate nickel-and-diming should just be one really flat rate because apartments are already expensive and just going up in this area its expensive all around
Everything about Bell Four Points is wonderful and the staff are some of the most hardworking and wonderful people youll ever meet.
Staff is nice, but thats all i can probably say...moved in at the beginning of December 16, and its been problem after problem. The AC unit in the hallways has leaking all over our living room 3 times already. Under our furniute and rug, a leaking in the guest bathroom, causing a huge air bubble to form.. Yesterday our fire alarms went off... after checking them all, finding out the fire alarm that was located by the guest bathroom had water leaking into it. We took the alarm out its place and water spills out from it and another air bubble forming right next to it. The AC has gone a few times to where it doesnt blow air into the master bedroom, roaches were coming out a hole under the kitchen cabinet a few weeks after we moved in. Just a week ago, we had more, even crickets in the guest room. Itss ridiculous as hell... and do not forget all the hidden fees. Its also crazy that out sewage fee is more than our water fee. the fees alone are up the f***ing ass!!! i cannot wait til this lease is up!! And also... if you have a dog, make sure to have your own bags... the doggy stations are usually out. They even got rid of one station as well.
I lived here 2/14 to 2/15 moving into the complex when it was `The Escape at Four Points` and moving out shortly after it became `Bell Four Points`.The good things:The apartments are quite large with nice countertops. There is a great community pool and room for playing billiards. The bad things:Bell literally tripled the service charges after acquiring the complex. You have to buy your own light bulbs(!).The move out fees are insane, I was charged $75.00 for cleaning fees and the only picture they sent had a stain the size of a nickle.Ultimately, I would strongly discourage people from moving into what I consider one of the more dishonest apartment complexes in Austin. Your monthly rent will not be representative of what you will actually pay monthly, add $60-$100 in frivolous charges (Think rust-proofing from Seinfeld). And $100 more in January, thanks to their crazy yearly charges. The last thing I will say is if you commute to Austin, try to leave before 7:30AM at the latest. Otherwise, the traffic will be bad.2222 is a fast road, but if there is an accident on it (seems to be twice a month, now) then youre completely out of luck as its more or less your only road to get back home. Expect about an hour each way if thats the case, about 30 minutes each way otherwise.2222 to Mount Bonnell to 35th was the best route I could find on a daily basis for working downtown.
It was nice when It was Escape but now with the new administration, Bell everything goes from bad to worse. Even their coffee is terrible. You can use the clubhouse because you could be noise and could distract some one else... Who? No one wants to be there! The people who works at bell is not friendly they are so rud. And when you ask for some mantance service they forgot to put on the list.
Management is the worst I have ever experienced. Worst place I have ever lived. So glad we moved out.
Nice flats, terrible conditions. Moved out and left the flat spotless, safe a couple of non noticeable spots, and we were charged USD$75. We ghot rid of an orange juice spill with a cleaner that cost USD$8, but since these kind of places are always looking to cash in, there you have it. All I can say is that you need to read your contract thoroughly, and demand the services they say are included, or youre gonna end up paying far more than just rent.
This is the worst place to live in. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Unprofessional from rates incorrectly inputted to maintenance people underperforming simply put bell is the main reason.. all about operating profit and customer service sucks..
After Living at other places, I have changed my rating.
The complex, staff, and apartment is wonderful!
The staff and maintenance team are extremely attentive to any issues and/or questions you might have, and they really try to respond and fix any issues as soon as possible.
I love the community and staff!!
Money grubbing. Scummy.
Great place to live!
Escape at Four Points is absolutely the best place to live in Austin!
