Aurora fitness is under new ownership and they are doing a great job. When I moved to Colorado, it was impossible to find a good gym, that had everything I needed to train, and also be under $30 a month. Aurora fitness is only $10 a month! Ive been a part of the gym for 3 months and Im very satisfied with this place.

They started charging my credit card even though I never signed up. They claim ignorance because they got the information from the old Aspire. They waited a long time to start charging my account and I think they did this on purpose to avoid detection. Additionally, if they got my credit card info from another gym, they know they did not get it from me but just kept charging it anyway. This is theft. If you are being charged by this gym it will show up as ASF*Aurora Fitness. I called and went in and was informed that I needed to email management because they are never there. Management did not respond until I complained to the BBB. If you are going through this, you can complain on the BBB website. It is VERY easy. You fill out a form and then the BBB sends you an email every time there is an update and you click on the link to see the update or respond. Once I complained, they promised to refund me. I need to wait five business days. But that is an avenue for anyone to pursue if this is happening to you!

Cancel your membership now if you can. I was a member since it first opened as Inspire Fitness. Then I noticed they changed owners and I decided to cancel my membership. And also they were still charging my account. So I would suggest to cancel in person because that is the only way you can get out. Also its not worth getting a membership here.

I had been there over two years. To my surprise i went to exercise at the one 6th and Chambers in Aurora and I drove up to a big sign WARNING CLOSED!!!!!!!!! TAXES WERENT PAID! So I called the number I was given and was told I had to CANCEL my membership! No way to do that. They had taken out my annual fee and a month payment on a expired debit card. So I contacted my bank and they were taking care of all that for me. Then just this past Wednesday the gym was open so I went in and canceled my membership. I DONT TRUST THEM AT ALL!I feel so bad for the employees that didnt get paid and all those that was left hanging financially in debit. Too bad we couldnt start a class action suit against them. I had to join a new gym more monies every month, and more for a annual fee. But the new gym staff was and is so great.My biggest complaint about Aspire was the back area for women floor is dirty, some equipment were broke and stay that way for along time. Bathroom: no paper towels, no soap, sometimes no toilet paper, holders were always broke, sinks were always dirty, handicap stall was broke for a long time. The floors in gym were always dirty.Cant believe they closed without warning. Complaints were made and no actions were taken to solve problems. They would have 5 staff members sometime standing around at the front desk and you ask a question, make a complaint and no one would respond to you and if they did it would be rude...Take care and hope everyone gets their monies back....

I just signed up yesterday and I honestly regret it. The guys at the front desk are nice and the Hispanic girl was super nice, informative, and provided great customer service. My issue is with the fees. It was explained to me that the fees, in part, go to maintaining the equipment. Members get charged 39.00 every 12 months to maintain the place yet a lot of machines don’t work. The eleptical was making a loud, horrible sound, almost like someone was taking a hammer and beating the machine with it and I really thought it was gonna break down on me. The stair stepper stopped on me so abruptly that I actually almost fell off. The leg machine in the ladies section would lock mid way and was painful when it did. The bathrooms are filthy, paper towels everywhere, and the counters are dirty and appear moldy. I was told child care is open till 8pm but the sign now says to pick up your kids no later than 7:55. I wish this gym was better taken care of. For now I’ll regret signing up for 12 months.

They are the most awesome people. Very polite and talkative. Daycare is included in my fee which is crazy amazing. Every other gym wanted to charge me up to thirty dollars a month. The theatre room is awesome. You work out and watch a movie! The on demand room us often empty, so I treat it as a personal space to do crunches or whatever. The gym is clean and bright all the time. I am not going anywhere else, anytime soon.

I had the same experience with having my contract moved and being sent to collections. BUT they have been extremely pleasent at helping me sort this all out. I would like to offer up part off what i know happened with the previous gym.Aspire closed its door from what i heard as tax evasion and some other things. They high balled all the contracts they had at that time to aurora fitness. Aspire made NO attempts to notify anyone of the contract exchange, which would be required if I am not mistaken. This has hurt aurora fitness, and aspires previous clients. Unfortunately the only person taking the fall on this aurora fitness. So please if you have this same issue. Calmly talk to them, let them know what happened and be a bit understanding that they are also not in a good spot over this. They got screwed and we got screwed, but I do not personally blame aurora fitness, for aspires under handed and greedy tactics against us and them.I would also like to shout out to cassandra, you exceptional I greatly appreciate your help.

Ive been trying to call for a week now to cancel my membership after they moved locations on me, and said it would be no problem at all to cancel if it was inconvenient. WRONG. I live too far now to make a special trip out there. They charge your card at random times and take 40 bucks out pretty much whenever they want. They say its a good deal but its a scam. Dont trust this company.

Had a brief issue with the card I was using as payment. The team was helpful in correcting the issue and I haven’t had a problem since.Was approached by a really nice trainer who asked us to do a fitness assessment if we hadn’t already. Got my butt kicked but it was great and proceeded to sign up for a year of personal training for just 100/month for 2 in person training sessions and 4 workouts written out per week (for 2 people).Only criticism is I wish they had more water fountains and the kind you can easily fill a water bottle at but that’s about all I can think of.Really glad I joined this gym!

The gym itself is nice; plenty of machines for any time except the prime times. A females only section, a kids room and even a yoga/video fitness (think P90X) room. Staff is friendly and as helpful as they can be. However, Im giving this place a single star because of the contract nightmare. I put a freeze on my account due to military orders and now 5 months, 4 pieces of paperwork, 6 phone calls, and 8 emails, later they are still trying to charge me. The people who you get calls from cant help, the number they give you cant touch the payment system, the personnel at the actual gym can only send an email, and the entire time your account is getting charged.

Terrible terrible place! BEWARE! READ THE REVIEWS!!! Check out any Google search and you will see what a nightmare this place is. Dirty, broken machines, and rude employees what else is there left to say? Oh thats right they steal your money as well. They change their name to avoid being associated with the other closures theyve suffered but its still the same owner crooks. Ive cancelled my membership three different times to no avail. They say to call the corporate number no one answers. Or the email they give only to get an answer 1 month later to go speak to the gym directly only for them to give me another number to call. Theyve deducted 3 months of fees even though I have the paperwork to prove I cancelled signed and dated by them. My next step is to speak with the bank, the state attorney for fraud, and will leave bad reviews to deter everyone from ever setting foot in this sham of a business. Please do your due diligence read the reviews from both customers and EMPLOYEES! of how terrrible of a business this place is! But if you like to throw money away just flush it down the toilet, its more satisfying than giving these crooks your money.

Spacious, lots of machines, love the womens-only area, the movie theatre room for cardio, and the virtual classes. Its usually not too crowded for how big it is. Bathrooms are nice and usually clean. I did notice it was a lot nicer when it first opened and now there are more machines left out of order, its not as clean and cared for as it was a year ago, I hope it doesnt continue that way.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for almost 2 months. I started at the location in Aurora but I started working out at the federal location as it is closer to my house. The location on federal closed and the location in Aurora did not pay their taxes so the city shut them down. Since I couldnt get ahold of anyone in the locations were closed I put a stop payment on my account. Now they have tried to send me to collections for $10 because they cant be open, pay their taxes or make a cancellation correctly. The equipment is always broke and the turnover is through the roof as they very frequently do not pay their employees.

Echo with everyone trying to cancel membership and have it to be very difficult. Been over a year that I have been trying to cancel my membership with no response. Stay away from this gym, Those that gave a good review, just wait till you have to cancel or move. You will feel the pain we all have.

Do not join! Billing is a nightmare, and when confronted with problems, the staff is completely incompetent, ignorant; they pass the buck, and put no effort into problem resolution. Don’t bother with this lousy outfit. I paid for a full year up-front, and they still charged me monthly. I cancelled my membership after four months due to absolutely no problem resolution, and over six weeks later, they are still charging me. Staff members shrug their shoulders, claim it’s an external issue and it’s out of their hands. Just fill this paper out and hope for the best… I finally reported Aspire to my credit card company for committing fraud, and had them blocked from my account. I never once spoke to a staff member that took ownership of the issue and offered to make things right. Zero customer service. Zero. They are all zeros!

Facility is great the regular staff is great, what is not acceptable is the lazy trainer staff more importantly the manager. For one I told him because of my schedule could not train in the evenings and could only go morning times so agrees to do the initial training at 5am. I show up a bit early waiting on him and he sends one of his staff because hes too lazy to get up. Why would I pay someone to train me if you dont even have the manners to show up yourself? Second I go in there after the first training day and thinking Id have my workout ready to go to start training hard. Nope. 2 days didnt have anything, go in the next day I actually have a workout and completed it. Weekend comes go in the morning he tells me oh just do the same workout again. Why did I waste $50 on your lazy ass. Same thing happened this week. Its Tuesday and still dont have any training from him. Dont waste your money on these trainers that dont want to put the minimum effort or time into helping and just want to bully you into paying.

Its a gym, its also 10 bucks/mo, so dont expect much.Positives: The lifting and cardio equipment works fine. They have bumper plates, a pull-up rack and a 65 yd straight track. If thats all you need then you are good.Negatives:Bathrooms arent great...always out of paper towel and soap.Front desk staff generally is uninterested and unengaged.Observing the trainers, as a former coach, they leave much to be desired. They take out of shape people too far too fast and do not help with form at all.But again, its $10, so what would you expect.

Loved the gym when it was open, but after the two gyms close to me closed, I had to cancel my membership. Since then Ive been charged the annual fee and three monthly fees. They dont respond to email, their voicemail is full, and no one answers the phone. I filed a complaint with the BBB but they werent able to get in touch with the gym either.

We purchased a membership in Sept 2016, paid in full, Sept 2017 I asked an employee if we had to cancel our membership, he said no - since we paid in full wed have to sign up again if we wanted to continue our membership past Sept. We joined another gym, in October Aspire Fitness charged my CC again, I called and they said it automatically renews, they also said Id have to email someone to cancel my membership, they cant help me over the phone or in person, thats ridiculous. I wrote them several emails explaining what happened, no response at all for weeks. I ended up having to call my CC company and put a block on Aspire Fitness so they wouldnt be able to charge me again. Its very difficult to cancel your membership, they dont give refunds, very poor customer service, I cant believe they wouldnt give me of $20 refund, youre going to burn a bridge with me and anyone I talk to in the future over $20...I dont see this gym staying around long, I recommend staying away from this company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM!!! Aurora fitness was formerly Aspire fitness, which suddenly closed without ANY notice to their customers. They couldnt be reached by phone and continued to charge their customers their monthly fees while closed and we were unable to cancel our memberships. They use to have wifi. Which was nice because they dont have a sauna, steam room or pool. Or that many equipment. Id say they should get rid of the majority of their cardio equipment that no one uses and make room for more free weights. Anyways, they dont have wife anymore. They also took away their cardio theater room. They keep taking away what use to give them better ratings.The gym has also become smaller. And they never made it a 24/7 gym again. That could of been a big plus. At this point, it feels like they might close it soon. Again. But who knows. Their members are kept in the dark.All that being said. Its still 10 dollars a month. And its not as busy as it use to be. So equipment is available to use.

Do not be fooled by the low monthly payments. There are hidden fees. Most importantly, terminating a membership is incredibly difficult. I have hundreds of dollars in collections because my termination wasn’t processed and I moved there after. Staff at the gym just sends emails, staff on 888 line says they can not adjust prices but can only collect. Sending an email is a waste of time because a generic response is always sent stating a balance which is followed by the 888 number for further questions. Don’t waste your time or energy. Paying an extra 20 dollars somewhere else is the better option.

I loved coming here for a while now. I been a member since they opened this gym. It wasn’t till I had rude customer service from one of the workers who work at front desk Joshua. He was screaming at me and my sister. He jokes around a lot but this time he wasn’t joking. He was very rude. I emailed corporate office I still haven’t received a email back from them. I don’t recommend this gym especially if his attitude and his service was representing this company.

Worst gym to go to. They always have trouble with the payments. Before I got my membership they didn’t tell me about a contract and I ended up finding out there was one until I tried canceling my membership. Not to mention they’re equipment is pretty worn out and some pieces are missing. Wouldn’t recommend coming here.

1. This gym is too hot. There is only one thermostat working and its about 74- 75 degrees when you walk in.2. Theres never any soap or paper towels in the bathroom. Nasty!3. Try calling! It goes to a full voice mail.4. Nothing but kids behind the desk!Find a manager to talk to.5. Equipment is quickly breaking and with no repairs, its removed from the floor.6. The back of the gym and the cardio room need ventilation. Large floor fans would be a help.

Update: I should have turned to my bank earlier, however I saw the other reviews that said the Aurora Fitness staff had begun to turn things around so I thought Id give it yet another shot. Called in and FINALLY got to speak with someone, they asked for my phone number and I was excited to finally get things taken care of, then he said just a moment and I was placed on a hold (I assume I was on hold but the line was silent) 15 minutes later I thought maybe things got busy on their end and they forgot I was on the line so I hung up and called back in. Now my call doesnt even go through. It seems as though he took my number just to block it. Very frustrating. I have officially taken things up with my bank.Previous Review:I was so impressed with Aspires facility and staff when I first started there. My feelings toward the staff never changed. Gradually over a year things in the gym began to change; equipment became scarce (clips, weights, mats) and if something broke, it would remain broken. The toilet paper in the bathroom was once in a dispenser, went to the hook on the door, and then straight to the floor (just laying there, consistently in every stall).My husband and I moved states and inquired about canceling our membership. They told us we must do it in person or via mail which was frustrating but ultimately my fault for not remembering to take care of it before we moved. They gave me the address I would need to mail my letter and I sent it asap but found it returned back weeks later. I have tried calling at various times throughout the day and leaving voicemails, in hopes that someone will get back to me, but have had absolutely no luck. I have been trying to cancel my membership since August of last year (it is now nearly March) and it is getting increasingly more irritating.

It’s a TRAP! They keep replying to bad reviews that they have changed since Aspire Fitness, but it’s the same crooked business practices. I canceled my membership and they were still charging me FOUR months after. I stopped by and asked to speak with the Manager and she wasn’t in. I asked for her name and number and the nervous employee told me that if he provided that information he would get fired! Wait what?! He provided me an email address and I emailed her and got no response. I finally called my bank and had them take care of it; they we’re kind enough to waive the fee to stop automatic payments. The scariest part about it is that I NEVER gave them my bank routing and account information, only my credit card for automatic payments and somehow they had my bank information and that’s how they were taking my money. I don’t know how any of this is legal.

I like this gym I would say I like it more than 24 hr fitness. Sure it would help if they added more LEG machines, if they added some stairmasters etc... Overall it’s not as bad as some people say! I ve been a member for 2 yrs and I have never had an issue! The girls locker room is decent it’s not sparkly but not disgusting! Yet, people expect a super clean environment yet they go around leaving there tampons, paper towels, bottles everywhere 😒

The machines are always broken and they changed ownership from aspire to Aurora fitness and they claimed they were gonna make great changes. Run the opposite direction! This company doesnt care about its clients what so ever. I wish I would have done more research before I signed the contract. I was never told that I was going to be put in a contract. I was lied straight to my face. Another thing, good luck being left alone while you are working out. The gym is great in the sense that its always open and close to my home, most of my friends go to the gym and its always a friendly atmosphere. They also have a cardio theater and a video on demand workout class which isnt seen in too many places. My biggest issues are that they only have two stair climbers which seem to be the most popular cardio piece and that there isnt a large variety of machines. This gym is great for your average user but youll never go pro here.

The most helpful employee there was a guy named Ricardo. Everyone else, JOEL (the supervisor) & BROOKE (the manager) were not helpful at all. Been attempting to cancel my platinum membership since it was still Aspire fitness (September 2018). The account was placed on hold & then reactivated as soon as Aurora Fitness bought them (November 2018). Came in multiple times to the location to attempt to cancel but was always told that a manager needed to be there. She never was. I came in yesterday to try to get answers & help but Joel kept repeating the same, useless information. He didn’t try to understand where we were coming from which caused frustration. He wrote on his notes that I was yelling & cussing. He provided terrible customer service & again, was no help at all. I was finally able to get ahold of Brooke the day after (March 2019). She said that we were not on her “priority list” because they didn’t owe us any money. The only reason why they had no money collected from us was because everytime I was charged, I called my bank to dispute the charges. She then proceeded to give me attitude & said that she had lots of other people “attacking her” for the same reason. Brooke said that my problem wasn’t as important & didn’t need for me to be there two days in a row (last night & first thing this morning) even though Joel was the one that told us to be there at 8am as she was going to head to another gym (Greeley) no later than 9:30am. It is quite obvious she cannot handle multiple gym locations, so they need more managers which would then hopefully better Joel’s & Brooke’s customer service. Very disappointed & would definitely not recommend.Thank you to Ricardo for being the most helpful employee there & actually knowing how to treat the customers! You deserve a better job.. or you deserve to be the supervisor/manager.

YouFit to Aspire to Aurora Fitness. Trouble will follow. I moved from Co to Fl while the YouFit to Aspire deal was going down. There was YouFit FL locations but mine was transferred to Aspire. I tried calling and emailing several locations and the corporate office to cancel since I couldnt just walk in. No response and most of the time I couldnt even leave a voicemail. Months of this occurred and I finally started calling other states locations for Aspire and never was told that they no longer had that location but the GA branch even gave me the email and phone number for the Aurora as if that would help. I finally cancelled the card and got an email from ASF. This would be the first time I had ever heard of Aurora Fitness and this was 5/29/2019 - almost a full year after trying to cancel from Aspire. I never receive notification. I got things cleared with ASF I thought until I got another email from them a week later and was told to contact the gym for more information. I talked to a lady who was far from pleasant and had no interest in understanding what had happened. It was not her issue that I never received notification that they took over and I was told I should have called the company referenced on my bank account even though I had been working with the GA Aspire location for months at this point. She told me there would be no refunds. She was rude and continuously talked over me. I asked her if she was going to listen or not and she told me no. Im absolutely shocked that people like this are in business. They obviously could care less about the reviews they are going to receive or BBB complaints. If you take over memberships from another company you might want to do a bit of research of what youre inheriting and help own the process of transfer.

Gym was a good place to exercise at due to the low volume of customers. I never had a problem finding a machine. Unfortunately, my debit card was compromised and instead of contacting me to continue my membership I was turned over to collections when my auto payment didnt go through for 10 dollars. Highly disappointed that there was no previous notification of that happening. Its not a fun experience to deal with in the first place and this is just insult to injury at this point. When I called to talk to them I never got any answer. Just a sprint voicemail box with no business name or anything. They fail to meet what I would consider minimum customer service standards. Its cheap and you get what you pay for.

I like the gym, however the NEW trainers are not motivating at all. The old managers and trainers that have recently resigned because of the poor actions by their corporate as to how they were treated, actually used to motivate, give free classes, and help customers when needed. I dont know how many people work there and just sit at the front desk all day not doing anything (5 people usually). I am curious how they build any kind of revenue with people getting paid just sitting on the clock. But hey if you want to go to a gym, where there is hardly any people there now because of management changes, then this is it for sure. Not crowded at all. and if you paid for a membership that included the 24 hour facility.......that has now been changed also with NO REFUND and is not 24 hour probably because they cant afford it with all the people they pay that just sit around.

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY!They had another facility in Arvada and they closed it down without warning. They charge a large upfront fee other than the $10 a month fee that they advertise, then you show up to a sign hanging up saying that they have closed the location.I wouldn’t be surprised if this location closes soon as well.

It’s Sunday afternoon, 14 TVs in the facility, and 5 of them had the same thing on, some anti aging infomercial. The other half of the TVs I’m watching a doctor remove fat and excess skin from Dr Quin medicine woman. Where sports or fitness related shows? Is This a fitness center.Drywall specs throughout the turf, can we get someone on it? This poor guy jumping rope and you can see the dust rising up.Cardio room, nothing playing just he Denon logo.Women only section under utilized. Just a though or at least warrants a discussion. Can this space be used more effectively and efficiently?Come one folks, I get it. Aspire left you with an uphill battle. I’ve been a member at this establishment for over 4 years and slowly seen the decline. I’m trying to stick with you as you transition over.Three weeks ago I was told you would have 24 hour access, it’s the only reason I’m sticking with you. 1 April is my cut off date. Vasa is a few more miles out of my way, but I’ll make that change if we can’t get it together.Let’s get better everyday.

I canceled my membership to this gym in January of this year. I was told that one more payment would be taken for February and then my membership would be cancelled. It is now December and I have been charged every month this year. I have spoken to several staff regarding this on multiple occasions. They have all told me the same thing, they will reprocess my cancellation and issue a refund. It has never happened. I would be careful giving this business your account information as they clearly have shady practices. I have even had one payment sent to a collection agency when I did not pay it and they are continually calling for a payment that I do not owe.

If there was an option for 0 stars I would give that. The location I joined closed due to unpaid taxes and is still charging me monthly for a membership. I tried cancelling online which took me to a server error page, and when I call the number listed it goes straight to a voicemail box that is full. I emailed and called Aspire corporate and no return communication. I put a hold through my credit card company and now have a collection company calling me for payment, and THEY told I have to go into another location in person to cancel. Why do I need to go through this hassle when I paid my dues every month and they didnt? My recommendation to anyone thinking about joining this gym is to save yourself the trouble. There are plenty of other $10/month gyms.

This place has all kinds of banners up outside that say $10 per month!I usually work out on Buckley Air Force Base. But this morning the base was on lockdown due to an exercise. So I couldnt get in to work out.I decided I wouldnt mind paying $10 a month. I would check this place out.When I went in to inquire I was told if I paid for a month it would be $30. (24 hour fitness charges that, but they are in lots of cities and states!) If I paid by the week it would be $10 per week. But if I paid for the entire year it would be the $10 per month, and if I paid upfront for the year I would be charged $138.I am no mathematician, but I can decifer that none of those options is $10. per month!When I got home I started reading the reviews on here and I am soooo glad I didnt get roped in to this place.If I were any of the people with these bank withdrawls taking place, I would close the bank accounts down right now and open different accounts that they cant withdraw from!Additionally, whoever is responding to these poor reviews is not taking responsibility for whats happening. They say So sorry to hear this then they flip and manipulate to make themselves the victim! At one point stating when they get cussed at they become defensive. Instead of understanding the frustration of the customers and finding a way to fix the problems immediately.How about hiring someone that knows how to run a business!! Apparently they dont appear to know how to turn this around. Its called customer service, and knowing arithmetic would be helpful.

I didnt sign up with this gym, but I was a transfer from the Youfit across the street. I have sinced tried to cancel my membership as I have moved out of the area. Once in December of 2018 and again in January 2019 (after payments didnt stop). Both times in person. I have filed multiple credit disputes in the meantime as they continue to charge me. I have tried to call in the meantime and have been met with a full voicemail message, a voicemail message, or a employee who can only tell me to talk to the manager. Giving neither a time nor day when the manager will be in. I now have made a stop payment claim and only now have I recieved multiple emails and phone calls about missed payments.

I have been member for last 1 year and everything was good as long as I am using the location which is off of S Parker rd & Chambers. Recently this location got closed and now my problems started to cancel my membership. As this location moved to 6th Ave Aurora I called this location and requested my cancellation they said the only option to cancel my membership is to go there (which is too far for me) and fill out the cencellation form and there is no other way to cancel either online or by phone. So evnatually I went twice to that location but they dont have cencellaiton forms so the front desk guy aksed me to fill another form so that he will take care. Its been more one and half month no cancellation happened and no one is even lifting up the phone calls (incuding tier corporate number). I dont understand what is the issue for them to cancel the memebership. If Aspire is like this not sure how do they run the business and expand.

This fitness Center is # 1 misleading, obnoxious fitness center i have ever seen. Half of the equipment are broken and some dont even work. This gym is awful. I have had a terrible experience here. The aspire fitness off parker road in Aurora abruptly closed its doors without a 24 hour notice, and I did not receive an email -even checked my spam folder. I have not been able to contact any gym locations in denver: Aravda, aurora, littleton, Greeley, and Westminster, all of which say their mailbox is full. I finally drove to the Aurora on 6th location to talk to a real person to cancel my membership. He was accommodating and understanding, however, he seems to be unaware of the many people who are upset about this gym. Even though I was not there for a full year, they would not refund my annual fee. I thankfully had my membership cancelled, and at least I am out of such a terribly ran gym. I do not recommend going here.

Like many recent reviewers I have tried to cancel my membership due to locations closing and being too far for the alternative. I had to apply stop payments through my bank as the corporate office wont return calls, local locations go to voicemail, emails go unanswered. I am working on getting individuals together to file a class action lawsuit for deceptive billing practices and unethical business behavior. I was a member of the Gym for almost 4 years in the area. I noticed in the summer that more and more equipment had begun to fail with no obvious plan to fix or repair. This was my first sign that they were hurting financially. Then they randomly changed hours closing at midnight and opening at five AM. This organization is shady at best. Employees still havent been paid from recent closures yet the company continues to operate. Please join me in filing a complaint and lawsuit against this organization prior to their filing for bankruptcy.

I got a new debit card and forgot to change it with them, no phone call they sent me to collections. I brought my membership current and cancelled it, because I moved (my year agreement was up anyways). I was assured it was cancelled and I would not be charged for May, because I cancelled before the draft. Here it is almost August and they are still billing me/sending me to collections. I have called the gym sent proof to their manager twice, not to mention how rude and nasty Twin Oaks is about getting their $10 per month!Update: November and still getting calls about this despite sending all of my proof again to a separate e-mail. They want me to come down in person to see the proof of my cancellation to make sure its taken care of... what a joke.

Highly would not recommend this company, I should’ve read some reviews of this place before hand. First off I am already a member at a gym, I came here to try their gym out to see if there may be potential to change places. I was given a handful of trials vouchers which was nice. The gym was quite spacious and has gym equipment other gyms don’t normally have. Unfortunately the majority of the machines are fairly worn and do not work well at all, this of course reflects in the pricing. Back to the trial, I was insisted on signing a potential customer form to use their 3 day trial. Most gyms use this just to contact you to further close a deal with YOUR permission. In fact I was told multiple times they would NOT charge my card without my permission and unless I decided to join the gym after my trial period. Even though I was skeptical the manager insisted I didn’t need to worry. I was not satisfied with their gym and never came back after my trial was over. Of course I was charged a few days later without ANY real notice. This is a very shady company be very careful dealing with them. Other reviews also reflect this type of behavior which I feel like a fool for not reading ahead of time. Not only did this charge not reflect the “special” offer they were going to give me it was over double the price. This gym isn’t a gym, it’s merely a old type of profiteering subscriber like Bally Total Fitness. They do the same exact scheme to where they lie, bait and switch, and make it EXTREMELY difficult to cancel something you didn’t even give permission to sign up for. I’ve talked to one of the managers there about this and he gave a bunch of hassle for canceling/refunding. He also took NO responsibility for these actions committed. So you lie to my face and say you tried to contact me... where’s the voice mail or email?!? It’s 2017 please at least try to make a REAL effort in contacting a customer before you just sneak a SUBSCRIPTION CHARGE onto my card. I understand your job includes calling cold leads but that does not give you the authority to charge these leads, that’s a horrible and highly unethical business practice. After this outrageous hassle the manager said he would take care of it the next day and would contact me if anything changes. The charge is now officially on my card (no longer pending) and I regret not taking this to the credit card companies sooner. So I guess my complaint about their unethical practices got him annoyed and he just lied to me again just to get me off the phone. I’ve been to many good gyms, this is definitely not one of them. They are a poor excuse of a business that uses decite, worn machinery, and other unethical practices to lock you into a BS charge that apparently they can’t take off because it’s out of their control. I am extremely regretful for stepping in this establishment, I thought this was a real gym that offered hassle free trials but I was very very wrong. It’s just a business out for your money, once again I hope they fix this out dated poor business model and myself and others get their financials out of this equation. I still can’t believe how much of a headache this has become. I was even nice enough to bring another buddy to check out their gym. Since he wasn’t at work when they called he didn’t get screwed. Apparently missed calls at work counts as your official permission to charge a subscription fees, seriously no voice mail or anything?! Once again highly unethical, if this is not fixed soon I will escalate this with an official complaint to the better business bereau.

I wish I could give this a less rating but 1 star is enough.I wouldnt suggest anyone to come here at all.There have been 5 star reviews but I dont trust their opinions.I was with this gym a few months ago because the cost of it was only $10.00 a month.The employees have told me that there was no contract, I can be able to cancel anytime, and so on. They just told me to sign something but they never allowed to see what I was signing for. This was my mistake.I first began to go to the gym for a few weeks and had a good service. That was until I began to get charged.They began to take away $48.00.I called an employee and asked why they were charging me more when there was nothing they told me about fees (Even in their own website, they didnt have anything talking about fees).They just said it was because of their equipment we used ever 4 months and I decided to want to cancel it. I decided to call them and tell them I wanted to cancel it but I didnt get much of a response. I have even stopped going to the gym but they dont care at all.They continued to charge me and I decided to change my credit card so they would not have access to getting my money.I still get letters of my charges and they continue to try to get my credit card information even when Im not going any ore at all. Im just not going to trust any gyms no more and stick with exercising at home.Dont trust this gym and dont trust the 5 star reviews. This place is terrible for their charges.

Do not fall for their low prices they have all kinds of hidden fees, also dont agree to get your free hour of training because they basically force you to sign up, When I tried to cancel they made it impossible. For ten bucks a month you cant beat it they have quality equipment an a courteous staff. From what I could see a clean mens room/changing room. Theres movie cardio room which they will allow you to bring your own movie to workout to if you like. A women only area to give the ladies a place to train without being started at and to workout away from other more intimidating personas. An from a area for some HIIT workouts/ CrossFit
