Went to get a cleaning and checkup, cavities were found. Xray was complicated due to MANDIBULAR Tori and if you have this you will experience discomfort with their xray machine as they use a sensor in place of butterfly film. Cleaning was inadequate according to second opinion and now I have to wait 6 months to get a real cleaning as the doctor was rushed and spent very little time on it. Doctor did 2 fillings of 9 that needed to be done at the next appointment and after the appointment we discussed what teeth they will do next. Scheduled the appointment and left. The office sent me a letter terminating our relationship without reason after this. Had my insurance company contact them and they made insinuations that there had been an incident or issue or conflict of some sort or that I had done something to cause this, which was untrue. I am filing a grievence with my insurance company and a defamation suit with DuPage and Kane County because they terminated without cause and insinuated that I was to blame. My insurance covers 100% of the procedures performed. Also as with previous posts mention, I witnessed malfeasance in relation to cleanliness and hygienics within the practice.

My experience with Alivio Dental was excellent no long waiting time for appointments and whenever I got there I was called in right away, excellent service. I got all of my teeth removed because I needed dentures put in at first I was very nervous and thought it was going to be very painful. And it wasn’t at all the is very nice and gentle I now have a beautiful set of white teeth.Thank you Alivio Dental 😁

This office was amazing. I called early morning and they were able to get myself as well as my two daughters in that same afternoon. The dentist was amazing with my girls. Highly recommended.

Alivio Dental, you are horrible!! I have made three appointments for my 5 year old who has a huge cavity. His insurance gave me a list of dentists, all of whom are at least an hour away. So the VNA referred me to Alivio Dental on Galena here in Aurora, 5 minutes from my house.The first time, we show up and the dentist wasn’t working that day, they didn’t have his appointment in the system, let alone his name or insurance information! The girl at the front desk says maybe I made the appointment for the Downer’s Grove location. I picked up their business card that was right next to me at the counter and check that it is the number in my call registry and show her. She says she’s sorry but she doesn’t know what happened. So I gave them his insurance card and filled out all the paperwork. I made the second appointment for St. Patrick’s Day. Again, we show up and they tell us that the dentist isn’t in so we have to reschedule. I was beyond frustrated at their unprofessional attitude but, again ... 5 minutes from our house and takes his insurance. So I rescheduled for today. Just over an hour ago, we show up for my sons appointment ... the door says “open” but the lights are off and the door is locked!!! What the hell, Alivio?!After I return home and calm down a smidge, I look up that they are supposed to be open until 4 pm on Saturdays, so I call. The gentleman who answered (why are you even answering when your building is closed down) says that maybe I made the appointment with the Downers Grove location... I explain that I don’t even have their phone number and no, I live off Galena so naturally I made the appointment with the office on Galena! I tell him that I received a reminder yesterday from the office, he says they don’t do reminders anymore. He says my son isn’t even in the system... unprofessional is an understatement.

I had the most amazing experience for the past couple years I have not been able to be satisfied with any dentist and I finally found someone very attentive unbelievably good with my child highly recommend this place

I managed to crack my tooth while eating nuts. I went to this office to take care of this emergency that happened over a weekend on saturday. Lot of dental office were closed over weekend. I was in severe pain. They took me as same day emergency appointment. I needed root canal. Doctor and the staff managed my pain, fear and anxiety of visiting a dentist pretty well. I was overall impressed by their service and compassion for patients. Its been over a month and I dont have any pain in that tooth. I went again couple of times for a follow up appointment and overall checkup. I will recommend this dental office to my family and friends for their dental needs.

Had a very decayed upper wisdom tooth. Staff was knowledgeable and handled the tooth extraction very well. Very professional atmosphere, will be coming here for future appointments.
