This is the kind of work that we received. I brought a Samsung certified technician out to try and get it working. No such luck. Now the refrigerator has to be thrown away. I have tried to get a solution from this company for almost 3 years. Never get to speak to a manager. The technician from action appliance ruined this refrigerator with no mercy. It cost us 2,000 dollars to have them ruin a nice piece of appliance. Beware of using this company.
Action Appliance was responsive the first day we called. Had someone come out and quickly assess the issue the next day we called. A part was ordered immediately. Unfortunately, there was a delay and an employee was sick when it was supposed to be installed/fix which was a delay in repair for over a week. Could have been a result to COVID delays. However; John J just left and did a great job. Was professional, fast and thorough and detailed.
Not a good company. Kelly (their tech) comes out. No call in advance, no mask (they should at least ask if we prefer them too), walks into the kitchen and from a distance of 5 feet away from the microwave, he immediately quotes a repair cost of 450 dollars (the purchase value of the whirlpool we bought a couple years ago). 5 minutes later he is out the door, with the 95 dollar diagnostic fee.He likely knew the value of the microwave and knew we would not pay that for a repair. We had researched possible issues and replacement costs, and they came in magnitudes over the worst case. Remember, he did zero diagnostics.Subsequent calls to the company have first line customer support promising a manager will call me back, which kept not happening. Amy will call you back today or tomorrow. Did not happen. Next day I call again: Amy is out but I will give her a message to call you back today or tomorrow. Did not happen.In fairness they did offer to send a senior tech out for a second opinion, but they were never available within the 4 hours they advertise (always at a time we could not be there), but at the end of the day, I do not want to have anything to do with a company that treats customers in this fashion.Will we charge back the 95 bucks? No, not worth it.Will we tell every one we know about the poor service across the board and lack of ethics this company displays? Absolutely. It is my intention to ensure this company loses far more than the 95 dollars they did not earn from me in future earnings.Not a good company.While I am sure some people have had decent experiences, this is a company I strongly suggest you pass on by, based on my experience.
We had a great experience with Action Appliance. There was a small gas leak in our stove and Dion was there the next day to fix it. He was quick, professional and took time to explain to me what had happened and what all he did to fix it. I’ll definitely use them again if needed in the future.
I called Action Appliance this morning arount 9:00 AM. The person I spoke with on the phone was nice and helpful, she was able to have a tech come by before noon to take a look at my air conditioner. The tech was a couple of minutes past noon, but the office called to let me know he was on his way. Jaime, was very professional and helpful. He was able to find the issue quickly and fix it within an hour. I was relieved he was able to fix the unit, and I didnt have to buy an entire new one. Action Appliance was recommended to me by a friend, and I would not only use them again, but I would recommend them to my friends and family.
Robert was fantastic. He was punctual, knowledgeable and very kind. I’d definitely use him and the company again.
I used Action Appliance to help repair my air conditioner. Overall, Jaime was very professional, courteous, and helpful. He gave me options for my service and was able to help repair my air conditioner within a reasonable amount of time. Absolutely no complaints about Jaime or the service he provided.I did, however, have some difficulties with main office when trying to get some part information so I could determine if the charges seemed reasonable. Fairly expensive repair so I wanted to see if they could provide me some clarification and I was told I would have my call returned. The individual I spoke with was fairly short with me and no one ever returned my call. This is the only reason for 4/5 stars.
Jaime did an amazing, clean job of installing my new drop-in range and stove. Looks great! Custom fit — plus installed a d tested a new CO detector. Very pleased with the quality of service received.
Chris did a fantastic job diagnosing and fixing the dryer very quick, thorough and efficient. Had to order a part and when he returned the install took 20 minutes and we were back up and running.Edit: After Chris left the dryer did not dry the next load of laundry we did the very next day. Action Appliance was called and scheduled a tech to return on Saturday between 10 and 2 (the standard 4 hour window) to see what was going on under their 90 day warranty. At 2:30pm we still had not heard anything from them and I called to ask what was going on. They said the tech was running behind schedule but would still be out. At 5:45pm I called again knowing they would be closing soon to ask what the status was. They said theyd scheduled the tech to go to our street address in another city and would need to reschedule for Monday. This is the second time weve been bumped from the schedule and pushed out. The first time the tech that did show up didnt connect a wire in our dryer which required Chris to come out. Chris has been really good on the customer service side of things and seems very knowledgeable about the work but their dispatch team has left us dissatisfied with the company as a whole.Chris returned today and discovered that the thermostat fuse originally installed by the first tech had popped, he replaced the fuse, investigated further and found that a wire had worked its way loose. Chris then took the time to really go the extra mile and validated that all the previous techs work was not going to cause further concerns or issues. I dont know how many techs Action has but if you do go with them I recommend you ask for Chris as he gets the job done well, fast and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything is squared away.
Jaime did a wonderful job fixing our fridge. The longest part about the process was waiting to get the part in. As soon as he received the part he installed within 30 minutes. He was very respectful. 5/5 would recommend
Juan was very professional and did a great job. I definitely recommend requesting him for your repairs. I would have given 5 stars if the company had kept me informed on when somebody would be showing up. I was given a 4 hour window when I made the appointment, after waiting 4 1/2 I called to check on the status and was informed that they were running late. I dont mind that they were running behind, it happens and I completely understand. I just think that the company should have kept me updated. Again, Juan did a great job and I was very satisfied with his professionalism. He explained everything to me and took the time to answer my questions in detail.
Incredibly quick service! They had someone out to the house less than 4 hours after I called, and were able to get the parts in and installed for our refrigerator the next day. Jaime was super nice and worked quickly yet thoroughly. Overall great experience.
Was told my pump was broken for the washer because a sock was lodged in it. got charged 343 dollars for Something that took 30 min. The company wont write an invoice for how much I paid in labor or parts. manufactur charges 56 for the part Amazon had it for 12. Oh and it took me a few seconds to get the sock out the pump and it still works. This company is a straight rip off

Dion did a great job, hes been to my house twice once to fix the dryer and once to fix the dishwasher. Both were done quite professionally and without issue.The company (not Dion) really struggles with timeliness. Often missing windows or needing to reschedule. This has been a bit disappointing to be honest. At this point theyre so consistent with it, I schedule on a day but dont really cancel my plans as Ive experienced few times that the theyve been running on time (within the window).
Jaime did a great job, however, later that day,the dishwasher started leaking. It took three calls to get them back out to fix it. Waiting for parts and install took approximately three weeks. Later, I bought a door gasket and installed it and it still leaked. I went ahead and bought a new dishwasher and installed it myself. No more leaks. I cannot recommend Action Appliance.
John B. showed up within 30 minutes. Service was very proficient and professional. Cleaned the area quite well after the service and was personable. If we need any other services, we would not mind at all if he were sent back.

We had Action Appliance come out to deal with our fridge/freezer. From start to finish everyone was polite, professional and kept us updated when the tech was running late. The technician, John, was awesome! He was honest and upfront on everything he was doing and needed to do to get our appliance in working order. He also gave us tips on what to do to minimize ice buildup in our freezer while we waited for a new part to come in. John was great and would recommend Action Appliance to anyone needing repairs.

Kelly was quick and efficient. Took apart dryer and cleaned out then lubed wiring. Very handsome. The next day Robert came to do a vent clean and balanced my dryer so it’s not rocking on uneven tiles. When I went on Angie’s home repairs these were the first ones to call and they made an appointment within 24 hours everything was completed

Had tech John come to my house to repair a non draining washing machine. He was on time, clean, professional, gave his prices up front and they were actually reasonable especially on a holiday weekend. We’ve used those home warranty companies in the past but I believe we have found a go to here for sure. Would highly recommend you go here first. We are extremely satisfied with the workmanship and professional service we got today. 5 stars for sure.
The worst experience I have ever had with any sort of company in my life. I was told 5-7 days on a part for my broken washing machine. After 10 days and still no word I started calling and asking for updates, to which no one who answered the phone could give me. The girls answering the phone were rude and one actually giggled at me while I was trying to resolve my issue on the phone with her. I was told multiple times someone would call me back with information and then I never heard from them. After almost 3 weeks of no answers, multiple phone calls, hours of my time wasted and still no working washing machine I had to take my business elsewhere. When I asked for a refund for everything except the diagnostic appointment they actually had to audacity to charge me for a cancellation fee when they gave me no service or appointment to even cancel. They didnt even have my parts. The other company that is now coming out could not believe that it was this long and I still did not have my parts or even an update on when they will be here.Save your time, money and energy and skip right over this company.
Most horrible co. Had to call them 3 times cause the technicians dont know what their doing. They came out twice, 2 different people and its still not working. Called the office, spoke to some lady who said she was the supervisor, she was very rude and uncooperative. I told her my son has type 1 diabetes and his insulin needs to be refrigerated to stay cool, . Her response, Not my problem. She even laughed ate and my husband on the phone. Lets see how long she laughs when we sue them

Unprofessional, untimely, not punctual. They have come by for a drain pump replacement 4 times with a 5th one still scheduled. Granted, one visit was a wash since the replacement part they ordered appeared to be defective from the factory; understandable, that stuff happens. However, their communication was poor throughout and I always had to probe at the technician to be in the loop with what’s going on.They have bailed on scheduled appointments a total of 3 times. Today, they were supposed to be by in the morning but then rescheduled to 5:40 PM. No word from them until 2 HOURS LATER at 7:40 pm when they called to reschedule for the next week.Before today, they also were supposed to come by between a 4 - 8 pm window, and then called late that afternoon to reschedule. Complete waste of my time and day to wait around only to be rescheduled at the last minute. Book an appointment with these guys if you want your appliance to be repaired in 1 - 5 business months. Unbelievable. I’ll update if this ends up more pleasant, but dishwasher is still unfixed and it’s been about a month

Jesse and Robert arrived early to repair my washer, which I had loaded unevenly and caused to bounce across the laundry room, wrenching out the dryer vent as it went (the dryer is on top of the washer). All of the shocks and springs in the washer were broken, and the rubber gasket was twisted and warped. Jesse and Robert clearly know their stuff. Jesse took the washer apart, removed all of the broken parts, and replaced them with new ones, then replaced the gasket. With the top still off, he started the washer and made sure it was filling, draining, and spinning correctly. They then lifted the dryer back on top of the washer, fastened it, and Robert reconnected the dryer vent. That wasnt easy--Ive had plenty of problems with the dryer vent coming off--but I have confidence that Robert drilled a screw into it to hold it firm. Great technicians, great attitudes, great work!

TJ came to look at our dryer, because there was black smoke coming out of the back. He was very polite and took a look at the dryer came up with a good fix and cleaned up after and we set up an appointment to fix it. They do good work and are very responsive.

I wish I could give less then one star. Had to reschedule 3 times because no one could come out. On the third try, I made a morning appointment and took the day off of work this. The appointment was 10a -2pm. I called every 2 hours after 2p because the lady kept telling me Im next in line, the tech will be thereAfter wasting my day I call again and she tells me to reschedule sometime in the next week....Not a reliable company. They are probably the type of company who prioritizes needs based off how much the job costs. Please look else where if you need service.

Called two different days. Once for information and the second time to schedule service. Both calls were in the evening when other places were closed. Both of the receptionists we spoke with were nice on the phone.The technician, TJ, arrived at 11:10 which was in the quoted 10-2 window. He answered all our questions thoroughly and politely, had the needed replacement compressor on his truck, and went straight to work.The repair took roughly 2 hours, and TJ stayed for a bit after to monitor the operation of the repair before departing. Freezer temp was a nice 20 degrees F down from 55 in less than half an hour of operation.
I contacted action appliance to repair a dryer in my rental unit. Chris was the technician assigned to my repair. Chris was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He did a thorough inspection of the dryer to ensure that he could assess the problem properly. He went over and above by vacuuming out the dryer and vent the best he could and tried to get the part to repair the dryer on the same day, even though I initially was told that repair would be a second appointment. I appreciate the job Chris did and would request him in the future if that was possible.

I hadn’t done a service on my HVAC system for several years, so I was in need of a diagnostic mainly for the peace of mind my system was still functioning properly. I was referred to Action Appliance from a friend who used them for her A/C which broke and she was pleased with their work. Jaime was my technician today and he did a very thorough job going through my HVAC system. I was extremely happy with his quality of work, the time he took and his professionalism. I think he did a great job! I plan on using Action Appliance again as well as requesting Jaime as my Technician.

Our air conditioner wouldnt start, he identified and corrected the issue in less than an hour. I truly appreciate the service and will call again next time something goes wrong!

HORRIBLE customer service ZERO FOLLOW THROUGH The first time I used them, for my 90 year old father, the kid hooked up the hoses to the washer backwards. No big deal - kids. The second time I used then to replace a compressor on my father’s refrigerator they completely missed the appointment and didn’t even bother calling. I called them after 5PM and was blown away to find that I was not going to be placed on next first AM Appointment but had to wait four more days to get another slot, which They assured me i would be first in line in the highest priority. So I took another off of work and after three calls to find what the deal was, the tech shows at 515PM. WOW!!He was a nice guy and did the job and then said he would email a receipt. So... that was almost two Months ago and after SEVEN calls and SEVEN assurances I am still waiting and now when I call they must recognize the number and they put me on eternal hold.Oh and they never did take the service call charge off of the repair as the claim they will. Maybe that’s why I have no receipt??Appliance repair must be a booming business because these people don’t give a F...! about customer service.I would have used them for a lifetime. NEVER AGAIN.“It’s a great day an action appliance are you having a great day?”What a Joke.
Jim came to fix the dryer sensor and we also needed the vent cleaned which was done by Robert. They were both lovely, on time and very efficient. Robert realized the vent pipe was crushed and replaced it as well. The cost was very reasonable and the whole experience was great.

BEWARE: there is a reason this company has an F rating with the BBB! They responded very quickly to an online request and showed up the next day to assess my washing machine. The repairman seemed knowledgeable and immediately told me that the drain pump needed to be replaced on my 2 year old unit, but the part was on factory backorder. I spent WEEKS fighting with the manufacturer and locating the part. When the manufacturer sent their repair person under an extended warranty, it was immediately clear that the drain pump was working and he found an obstruction when he actually opened up the machine. Action Appliance clearly did NOT perform any diagnostic before claiming that the part was bad. I would NEVER have known that they were scamming me if it wasnt for the factory backorder of the part. People are are satisfied with this company are probably UNAWARE that they are being lied to. My experience is consistent with the BBB complaints.
Jaime showed up on time. The issue took a while to diagnose. Jaime was persistent, found the issue fixed it, all in good time. It’s great to work with professionals, who take pride in their work!

When we need service on our commercial appliances, Action is our go to. We can usually get a tech out same day or the next day to look at our equipment and get us back up and running. Jesse is our favorite as he always provides service with a smile and tips on preventative maintenance.

Terrible customer service., They called 90 minutes before the window they provided to reschedule the appointment. No explanation, just we wont be there. I explained that because of how the house is plumbed, we had to shut off the water to the whole house, meaning no showers, and no flushing toilets for the entire day. And now they wanted to extend that to the next day with only a half-baked apology. I asked if someone could come out later than the window they provided; I was told no, that was the latest. I asked if someone could come out earlier tomorrow than the window they were offering. Again, no assistance at all. Take it or leave it. Used them once before, and while not a pleasant experience, it was better than this one. Completely unhelpful and unprofessional. Will not be using them again.UPDATE: They called 15 minutes before the end of the 4 hour window THEY RESCHEDULED to say the tech was running late. Its now almost 4pm the day AFTER they were supposed to be here and Ive heard nothing from them. This place is a joke.
Jesse was a pleasure to deal with. My one challenges comes with them not arriving within the four hour window that they provide. They could be more proactive with their communication when a tech is going to miss the window.All the work is done professionally and they stand behind the repairs. Highly recommend them!!!
John, the technician, was very knowledgeable, and repaired both refrigerators. Only problem was the office worker that entered the incorrect information in the computer and delayed our repair. So, we had to wait an extra day. Not happy. Loved the actual repair and technician, John.

I had submitted a request via Home Advisor to have my fridge looked at. Within an hour Jaime from Action Appliance was at my door. He was masked up and and ready to address the issue. He worked fast and was able to get the fridge working again. Action Appliance was fairly priced and the professionalism of Jaime was great. If I have another issue with any appliance, I will not hesitate to call them directly.
I was really happy that they were able to send someone out the same day. I called several other places, and they couldnt get someone out until the following week. Kelly showed up on time, he was professional, he got my dryer working again. My only complaint, it was $450 to fix the heating unit in my Whirlpool Duet Stream Dryer which was much more than I anticipated.

Juan with Action Appliance Inc. was excellent! He very quickly diagnosed what was wrong with our dryer, explained the cause for the issue (over heating) and explained some techniques to prevent it from over heating after repair (we live in an old home with manual ventilation.) Juan quickly fixed the dryer and left the space very clean during and after repair ! He was very friendly and we were able to share some laughs about my protective and curious cat who watched him the whole time.Thanks Juan and thank you Action Appliance ! Highly recommend!

Do not use Action Appliance. They came out to fix my dryer and charged me $700. They fixed the problem, but also gave me a new problem. Now the dryer makes this terrible squeaky noise. I called AA, but they refuse to come out and fix the problem because I didnt call within the 90 days. Well, I would have, but Kelly, the technician said it should work itself out. Instead, the high pitched squeaky noise is even louder. I asked the manager to have the owner give me a call, but of course, I havent heard back from them. Very disappointed in this company!

Jim and Kelly did a great job fixing our washing machine! Kelly did the diagnosis on the issue and ordered the parts and Jim installed them. They were both knowledgeable and professional and completed the repairs within the expected timeframe.
Scam Charge 450.00 to cancel repair Was not told and signed wha I was told was a work order In it is a cancel fee They tell you verbally a service fee of 75.00 They do not verbally tell you about a cancel fee or that you are signing a conctract. SCAM As of now 10 days later they still have the entire amount 1450.00 on our card
Im updating my review because I want to recognize by name technician Jesse, who fixed our washing machine, then later came back to repair our oven. Jesse is an excellent representative of Action and did great work. He was efficient, explained everything clearly and was very friendly. Action Appliances service was excellent and their pricing fair. They came out quickly, which was very important to me especially on the washer repair. Will also came out to clean my dryer vent and he, too, was professional and efficient and provided some important tips to improve my dryers performance. I highly recommend Action Appliance for your next service repair.
Called for service this morning, receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Technician came out same day and earlier than quoted. Jaime was excellent!! He was very efficient and diagnosed the problem right away. Dryer was fixed within the hour. Jaime was very nice and extremely respectful of our home. So happy I called them, would recommend and use them again.
