The treatment was for Mosquitoes and Ticks but we were told it would also be effective against Hornets and wasps.Oliver Rowe was friendly, very easy to talk to and also knowledgeable about the work he was here to perform, which made me feel that we had chosen well. We have used other pest services before and have been trying to find the right one for our needs and this first visit went a long way in making us believe our search might be over.I did have to reach out to the main office to clarify our payment options which was slightly different to what I read on the Service Agreement Oliver handed us, but that was all sorted and it even included the $50 discount for two back to back rescheduled appointments we were promised, so Im in a positive frame of mind about the whole experience.Thanks Orkin

I called orkin to help with my mice problem. I wanted them to come out to my property and just LOOK before doing anything. They convinced me to let them just treat the problem before just looking. Big mistake. The tech did almost nothing. He sealed nothing. When I spoke to orkin on the phone I told them my problem areas and was assured they would be able to fix them. When the tech arrived they said it was to big of an issue to fix. The exact reason I wanted them to look first. A month later still having issues with mice. And orkin didnt fix any of the spots they were getting in which would be the corners of my house. Im glad that I cancelled my program considering all they did was put 2 glue traps in the attic. DO NOT use them for mice! They have literally no idea what to look for entry point wise. Not to mention they only fix small holes. Added picture of one of the places they didnt fix. Also the glue traps were found flipped over in the attic rendering them useless...Guess the tech didnt know how to properly put a glue trap down.

When I called to schedule the service the customer service woman was so professional, pleasant, and friendly as was our technician Kevin! We were so happy he was here the next day! Kevin also made it easy for me by sending me my contract by email and allowing me to fill it out and email it back because I work in a hospital and couldnt take time off to be there when he came! He also took the time to further explain the whole process! After having the yard sprayed we barely have noticed any mosquitos at all and it has made our yard a happy place and before it was totally unbearable for us and our dog; my husband and I have not seen this many mosquitos in all of our 50+ years! Update: Orkin has agreed to call me to schedule appointments, and they did just that for the last inspection. I still did not receive an email to schedule an appointment, and the tech said that they did some investigating in their computer system and found an account based setting that may be the issue. They corrected the setting, and now Im waiting to see if this change resolves the problem. Im giving them another star for putting in the effort to track this issue down and for calling to schedule the last appointment. Hopefully this issue will be resolved for the next appointment. Kudos to the tech again for trying to get this issue resolved.Orkin has always provided good service, meaning that my house hasnt been eaten by termites, however, their scheduling is worse than horrible. Over the past years, Ive had techs show up with no advance notice. Ive received cards in the mail saying when they are supposed to show up, and they dont show up, then they show up on a different random day. They never call to set up an appointment. They sometimes claim they sent an email with a date, but Ive never received one regarding scheduling. I always receive the inspection reports via email though, so they clearly have my correct email address.This is the only company that Ive done business with where they feel like they can just show up whenever they feel like with no regard for my schedule or anything else.After years of putting up with this, Ive decided that the next time this happens, I will take my business elsewhere, and I was very clear about this to the tech.The tech was professional in every way, he understood my issue and handled it gracefully, so kudos to the tech.

I was extremely surprised at the results. Everyone in my neighborhood has mice, lots of mice. I dont. The problem was my garage. Overrun. Now I keep birdseed in open containers and not a mouse to be found. All the better made mouse traps I set up have been unused this winter. I got rid of the glue traps because I thought them to be cruel. And my service tech has been great. I truly wasnt expecting much of a result.

We have used Orkin for many years and have always had a very good experience. This year, however, has not been as good. First, we received email and text confirmation that out appt was Friday, May 21, but no one ever showed up...when I called, they said the appointment was actually may 29? When they came on the 29th, it was raining, so he couldn’t use the normal perimeter spray for the roofline and base for hornet prevention. He had a powder he dusted in certain places...?! I hardly think that will be effective? I will be interested to see how much we are charged....

Our tech was on time, polite, knowledgeable and adhered to regulations for ppe and social distancing. While he couldn’t immediately take care of the issue he did all he could and scheduled a follow up for this Friday. We couldn’t be more pleased with this service.

Orkin does a good job at coming out at regularly scheduled intervals and keeping our mouse problem under control. We had a small issue with seeing mouse droppings between visits but our tech Ryan contacted us quickly to allay our concerns. He’s very respectful of our home space and leaves things just as he found them—very important to us since we live 4 hours away from the treated house!

We had a unique situation as we had to have our attic fully mitigated to close on our property. We had a technician come out and give us an estimate. He was very efficient and had great customer service. When the new owners called to set everything up there were some delays (covid) and a situation that arose. We spoke with the branch manager and he was extremely helpful and understanding throughout our conversations. I am happy to say that this company did stand by their word and they resolved everything in a timely fashion. I will recommend them in the future and would definitely use them again.

The Orkin guy came to my house and took care of everything all at once. Follow ups to be sure but he did an excellent job. They need to improve their call centers though. Took me a week to get the appointment I needed.

When I initially called, I informed Orkin that I had RATS getting into my home. We had a decent conversation on how I knew I had rats and that that would be the service that would be addressed. Orkin had to reschedule, but did not effectively communicate that to me. So, I called 15 minutes after they were to arrive and that is when I found out about the rescheduling. I was not very happy, because I had taken time off of work to there. I also had another conversation about the problem being RATS. When the tech showed up for the new appointment, he said he was sorry, but he was only prepared to address mice and that he had used up all of his rat materials earlier in the day. He did do an inspection and put two glue traps out, but said he would have to stop back in a couple of days to put out bait stations. I asked if I needed to do anything or call to arrange for the revisit and the tech said no that he would take care of it. He never showed up with the bait stations. Now, 8 days after my initial call to Orkin, nothing really has been done to treat the issue. I called today to inform Orkin that I was still waiting, they told me I was scheduled for my follow up on Nov. 2, which would be almost 20 days after I called for service. I had to adamantly push to get them back so, because in essence I have yet to really have my initial visit. Not happy.

Adam was thoroughly professional. An absolute pleasure to work with. He loves his job and it shows. He quickly diagnosed our problem and offered an easy safe way to control it. He put our minds at ease. We consider ourselves lucky to have him working in our house. Great job. Thank you, Adam

10 minutes to spray only a portion of our property (1/3 of it !) never discussed or listed in the contract. When called to ask why the whole property wasn’t sprayed it “wasn’t covered in the pricing”. What’s the point of having them come to spray a portion!??? $150 for 3 gallons of spray waste of money and time after they rescheduled the service twice!

I noticed swarming termites around my home on a Saturday. I called that afternoon and scheduled a FREE termite inspection for Monday. The inspection was quick and informative and the rep, Chris, was very communacative answering any questions we had. He sent over the contract via email that night. We signed it and sent it back the same night (Hassle free inspection and contract services). A service was then scheduled for Friday (Quick scheduling process from initial inspection to service). The account manager, Tom, came out to perform the service as the normal service rep was off this day (Quality customer service). Tom was very professional, informative, and courteous. Looking forward to our continued service with Orkin over the next 5 years. This is a professional business that values customer service.

Was sold on using theyre service under the understanding that it would be a charge every other month. Ended up being a charge every month. Twice as expensive as I had expected it to be. Not happy.
