Met the owner yesterday. She seems very friendly. Was disappointed that her gym was not open to drop-ins.Her model is that you engage in a class session with her 1v1 or group.Looks like plenty of open floor space without a lot of unneeded equipment taking up room. Nice!Hope she makes it more open to advanced drop ins.So back to the hunt for a uncluttered gym.
I am a beginner at crossfit and was a bit scared about how things were going to go for me with it. I LOVE IT! Ginger is a great instructor. She cares about teaching the basics so you learn the proper forms. Everyone that I have met there is supportive and very encouraging.I have been doing it for a month now and I already feel stronger and healthier. I know its just going to keep getting better.New or experienced, G-Theory has classes for you!
This is by far the best fitness experience I have ever had! Ginger is a level two coach that has an amazing emphasis on remaining injury free and teaching proper form. She pushes you to reach your fitness goals, and has classes that work well for everyones schedule. Personally I love the 5:30am class to get a jump start on my day. The Six Week Challenge is a perfect place to start no matter what your current activity level or age is. Even in the group classes, Ginger takes the time to personalize the workout to best meet your needs and goals. Highly recommend!
Ginger at G-Theory is amazing! She teaches you how to have good form so that you can remain injury free. She has a great 6 week course that is the perfect starting point and she will push you to reach your goals. One of the best benefits Ginger does is create a personalized nutrition plan. I highly recommend G-Theory.
Ginger, I cannot thank you enough for helping me start to find me again...It feels great being able to push myself a little more each time and know Im not broken and my body can still work. 🤗💙I still fight fear, but Im breaking through a lot and its because of the environment you create, the confidence you instill, and the safety you provide with the way you share your instruction. It truly is unique.
I have a ton of friends who do crossfit on a regular basis and belong to various gyms so I feel compelled to put this out there for many reasons. You can get results at any gym if you work for it.. we all know that. Here is the difference. Our bodies change..I should know. I will be 52 this year. I have had Cancer in my body TWICE and as a cop suffered major body trauma. My body is challenging me in the worst way. Pushing myself has become critical. Changing my whole traditional gym thinking. We ask for commitment from our physicians for our health, commitment from our clergy for our spirit, commitment from our insurance agents for our possessions, commitment from public safety for our protection...Why the hell wouldnt we ask for the same commitment from a trainer for our body. If there is one variable that is missing from most gyms. ..it IS that. Ginger will give you all the commitment she has plus that much more. Commitment from YOU takes courage and discipline....demand the same from your trainer.
I am a CrossFit coach from out of town and found this gym online. Im so glad I did, too! The coaches were knowledgeable and the classes were challenging and accessible for all skill levels, from fire breathers to those brand new to CrossFit. Ive been CrossFiting for several years and I even learned quite a bit from Head Coach and Owner, Ginger! The vibe was welcoming and the community was great. The equipment is brand new and the space is thoughtfully laid out. Programming and coaching was also top notch. If youre new to CrossFit or just looking for a new box, this place is a great spot to swing by, check your ego at the door, and get fit!
Awesome coach Super clean
Six weeks in and Im addicted. Ginger takes the time to make sure we are doing it correctly...its amazing what good coaching can do.
G-theroy Crossfit is a one-of-a-kind fitness experience! I have been an ultrarunner for five years, and I have always struggled with integrating strength training into my workout routine. Ginger is amazing at supporting all the different levels of athletes in her classes and making sure that everyone is getting the workout they need. Previously I was wary of Crossfit classes because I didnt want overexert myself and become injured. Ginger is meticulous on form and helping everyone remain injury free - it has even helped my preexisting injuries heal faster! Her mobility classes are perfect at improving flexibility and targeting problematic areas. I HIGHLY recommend Ginger and G-Theory. It was the best decision I have made in a while.
*Excuse the name, its a roller derby name*My name is Alethea, Ive been doing Crossfit off and on for 3 years now, due to circumstances beyond my control Ive been out of the fitness game for 9 months or so, going from 4-5 workouts a week to completely sedentary. Two weeks ago a customer gave me G-Theorys card and I decided to check it out, I absolutely loved the idea of a female owned box/head coach. Ginger, the owner, is simply the best coach Ive had to date. Many of my lifts needed form tweaking, with heavy Oly lifts you can hurt yourself pretty badly and Ginger is dedicated to making sure that doesnt happen. My other experiences with Crossfit coaches were focused on getting those numbers up, and form fell to the wayside, its incredible that I havent been hurt before I started here. Im pretty much starting from scratch, bruising my ego in the process, I might have just given up entirely after the first couple of WODs due to frustration with my regression over the last 9 months, but Ginger has been so supportive and encouraging I decided to push through and shove my ego aside. This week Im excited to go workout, Im getting my old bug back, that awesome feeling you get after a really satisfying workout that keeps you motivated to get to the next class. The people here are warm and welcoming, and I really feel like Ive landed in the perfect fit fam for me.
G-Theory is amazing. What a great box to call home
Very rude owner
