Only my opinion of this one encounter, Not that its even of any significance nor has any means to make anyone offended or upset.They had asked if Im interested in being employed by them? All that they require is to fill out W-2 forms. Social security numbers, id(s)/drivers license(s)and any contact info. Along with Employment history.I would be ok with the majoraty of all this: If Im 100% guaranteed emplyment by the time I were to leave. Before they even offer you the position they are needing you to fill. The staff had came accrossed to me, as unprofessional, an eninvertly disrespectful. The staff had stated that we were not going to be judged or given unfair chances to be employed. Also mentioned, Due to the laws,rules and stipulations and the procedures that are accommodate with them. Yet. Ths staff had opinionated ones thoughts about my appearance and had asked multiple questions that were personal. Then made a comment on the data that I provided for the assessment and employment information that was not necessary to the least bit.

This was the best experience I have ever, ever, EVER had with a temporary and/or staffing agency ever. The wonderful and friendly staff(but I will get to them later), called me the day I applied, had me in for an interview the day after I applied, had me hired the day after, and working the very next Monday!! With a regular job, not working here one day, some place else the next two days, then nowhere the next three. Nope! None of that been working the same place since I started (there has been a few days they did not need me to work, but they had also been a couple days that I worked weekend overtime for time and a half) constantly. Now for the AWESOME and helpful staff. Other than the stuff I already mentioned (being quick contacting, interviewing, and getting me working on the job). Everyone I have dealt with From the office was really friendly every time I called them or any time they called me. Any time I have called them they answer the phone promptly, even when it is after his and I call they all always call me back within twenty minutes or so, even when it is really really late at night, and do it with a great attitude. Thank you guys for everything you all are rock stars!

Dude, these guys dont mess around. They want you to work, they want you to get paid and they expedite the entire process if youre willing to work with them. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends.

I NEVER GOT DISPATCHED TO A JOB !! I did their pre hire paper work n drug screen but when I called in to receive work Myesha Huston was very rude to me. She refused to answer any of my questions and hug up on me !! Before hanging up she wanted to make sure, I knew she was the “manger”. Ive worked with many temp agency before and have never been treated with such disrespect. If I could give zero I would. Whoever manages this office needs to reevaluate who they let represent them!

When you go in to register and test they treat you like youre an idiot or a lesser being. And when I got a sever chemical rash my options where to change positions or sit at there office and spin a damn sign all day no paid medical leave. I couldnt sleep at night because of the pain of the burning and itching I love the company I work for but I hate the hiring agency they use.

Have you lost your mind? Is not an appropriate response to getting called out on the fact that you give out client information publicly on Google reviews, hire rude staff without apologizing, and falsely advertise your services. You need to work on your PR before your company gets shut down for violating client confidentiality. Stop treating your clients, and potential clients, like they arent worth your time or respect. Your company is responsible for helping improve lives, and this is deplorable behavior for someone in that position of power.

The staff was very helpful with processing applications, and provided options for different job opportunities. The staff was very nice, helpful, and provided a safe space for job search.

What a f@$!ing waste of time!! Saw a position online for a decent job, applied for it, went in for interview, did the computer tests...then they said that position had been filled but that they had other jobs. They only want to send you to jobs that are minimum wage. Its bull$#!*, you have to pass a criminal background check, drug test, e verify, their computer tests, have work experience...and if all that is good, they can get you a min. wage job? No thank you. I want to work, but not get taken advantage of. And with soo many temp agencies around, I was able to find another one who did see I was worth more than minimum. Stay away from this place!! Dont let employers (especially temp agencies) tell you what youre worth.

I came in asking about the customer service jobs listed on the back of the business cards and the lady I spoke to was really rude and treated me like I was stupid, said they dont actually do customer service jobs, and when I questioned the advertising she told me they just do manual labor hiring. Not really an answer...Now, seeing the way the owner replies to reviews, I am astounded this company hasnt been sued for giving out client information. They posted the private income of one of their clients openly for anyone to see. How abusive of client privacy. I am glad this company is not the one that will be helping me find opportunities. I think the staff needs to have a meeting about their professionalism, the owner included. I see a lot of classism and abuse of the lower class in this workplace, and I think the staff needs to reevaluate WHY they signed up for this line of work if they are going to be abusive to those in need. It is so unnecessary to be rude and condescending. If yours sick of your job, why dont you use your own services to find a new one? Its a good thing they dont network customer service jobs in this case because ironically I dont find the staff up for the task in the first place.

These mother F--kas Need to realize that when somebody calls you to see what assignments they have, dont go reminding me of why you still have the same minimum wage job assignment with a slack voice tone. You will get a phone hung up in your face EVERYTIME!!!!!And dont try to cover your transgressions by being a recruiter for New Era staffing solutions giving them a positive review on Google reviews when really there just sh--t! you arent the only ones who tried to do that before. Google saves you some respect with the mandatory one star although, you dont deserve it!!!

One of the most unprofessional agencies to work for, the classic bait and switch companies. Before applying make sure you know what you are worth, because they will lowball your wages. Not only that they tend to forget what you tell them, and most of the job sites they send you to a sweatshops in nature. I am a machine operator by trade, why in the hell would they send me to a pallet repair sweatshop. Why not use my skills to get us both paid. If you have no skills, this is the place for you, just know they will use you, and get rid of you when you are no longer in need.

Same day I went i got a job

My experience with New Era Staffing has been nothing but positive. Earlier this year I replied to an ad they placed on craigslist, the same day I received a phone call to come down and interview. Once there I filled out the normal applications, took a test, was interviewed, offered a job at $10.00/hr which I gladly accepted. Took an onsite drug test there as well.Yes, it is physical labor, warehouse work etc. They will try and match you with a job which your job history/background would qualify you for. I was placed at an aerospace factory. The hours were good, the pay was decent for the position (entry level oven operator). Unfortunately I got injured while on the job and was unable to work for two months, at which point the aerospace company decided to terminate my contract due to union rules.However, I was paid for those two months through L&I, and my physical therapy and doctor visits were fully covered. I didnt have to pay anything out of pocket. During those two months New Era kept in constant contact with me, asking how I was doing, and talking about my progress in physical therapy.As soon as I was released back to full duty, I spoke with New Era and let them know that my living situation had changed, and that I would need a higher paying job. At that point in time there were no placements available which matched my pay request. Yes, that part was disappointing, but not their fault. They work hard to get new contracts with different companies, and its those companies which set the wage.Fast forward three months.During the past three months, I received emails, phone calls, and text notifications of jobs that fit my background, but I declined them due to the pay.Heres the thing about staffing agencies, if you work with them, keep checking in, let them know what you want to do and what you would like to be paid, they will work with you. Ive seen many poor reviews of New Era, mostly from people complaining about low pay or having the bait and switch happen. Like all staffing agencies, jobs fill up fast, its a first come first serve if youre qualified.Last week I received a phone call from New Era with a job that offered higher pay which was within the range I was hoping for. It was also much closer to home. I love the place that I work.With all that being said, New Era Staffing does what they say they will do. They will get you a job, provided you are able to pass the tests (basic knowledge and a drug test pretty much). It is up to you on whether or not you accept the position and the pay offered.If you need the money badly, work with them, let them know that you wish to have a higher pay, and take a lower paying job in the meantime. That shows them that you mean business. So yes, you may have to work a couple months in a lower paying job, but they will do their part on finding you a higher paying position. Some of their jobs they send you to, youll have to interview with the manager/supervisor of the company. If you dont get accepted, its not New Eras fault, its yours.Out of all the staffing agencies I have worked with in the past, New Era has been the best. They care, they help you, they check up on you.I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a job.

Wow first off Kari glascoe is very unprofessional. She found out i put in a application for the job that i was assinged to as a temp and without me telling them. She called me sayingsorry they donot need u anymore they said its just not working out.? Been at the job over 6 months and do everything im suppose to do and never got any problem with the supervisor. She threatned to fire me because i called the manager at the job the next day. She was very secretive and didnt want me to call the people. I was just very confused about everytning. So i got replaced the same day with a new guy. Never ever work with them again. There all manipulative recruiring agents. Beware

I really cant talk from experience working for this company, since I decided not to work for them, or through them. But what I can say, from my experience is that you will be lied to. I was told I would get paid for an hour just to do all that crap you have to do on the computer. Guess what, they dont pay you for that. They say they will, but they dont. As far as jobs they advertise, at least they are honest about the pay.

This is by far the most unprofessional temp agency I have ever dealt with. My fiance went and filled out applications and assessments with this place, She was contacted on Wednesday 1-28-2015 at 2:30 pm and told that she could not be used for work, because one of the team members called and e-mailed her to tell her she needed to be at a job and did a no call, no show. I verified that my fiance did not receive any call or any e-mail. So I suspected a case of miscommunication, maybe her contact information was incorrect. So I attempted to call New Era and get to the bottom the issue, and after a very brief explanation I was cut off by a woman named Sarah Zaraski and told that I was unprofessional for calling for my fiance and she immediately hung the phone up on me! (talk about unprofessional) I called back and I told her I wanted to speak to her supervisor and with a cocky little attitude she told me that he is not in but I can leave a voice mail. Then she came back on the phone and said his mail box was full and she could take a message. I told her I do not mind coming in and talking to him in person if I needed to. She laughed and said go for it, he will not be here until February 12th and hung the phone up again. So I called back again and this time a Maisha Houston answered the phone. I asked her to speak to a supervisor and she rudely told me that they do not have a supervisor and they only have and owner. I proceeded to ask if it was necessary for the other employee to hang up on me multiple times, because she had told me the same information without hanging up on me. She danced around the question until she finally had to tell me it was not necessary to hang up. And then asked if there was anything she could help me with. The whole time this is going on I am getting serious attitude from 2 women that are supposed to be making phone calls for a living. I will never have anyone go back to this place. I used to highly recommend this place to people I knew that needed work. I will now steer people somewhere else. This has been by far the rudest and most unprofessional staffing agency I have ever came across.

They have jobs lined up. Definitely a great company to work for also the best staffing agency I have ever worked for.Why 3 stars?I was employed with them in 2013-2014. They kept me busy with a 40+ hour job PLUS another assignment thru the weekend. I was LOVING it! I had at most 70hrs a week. I had so much overtime it was crazy but its what I wanted and needed.The recruiters knew they could rely on me for last minute assignments because I never said no. When I say last minute assignments, I mean they would call me 10-30min before having to be at that job and I would show up! No hesitation, no fuss..just get there to get that money!There were times I would work from 6am-430pm at 1 assignment then leave to another last minute assignment from 5pm till whenever the job was finished, then be back at my regular assignment at 6am the next day.I was proud of it...i mean I really did need the hours!I recently reapplied(Oct 2015). I wasnt able to make it in for my application process at the office.They automatically terminated me. I actually begged to please forgive me for not making it in and to please give me a 2nd chance. I thought that maybe I would be able to get that chance especially with my work history here and proving myself time in and out. NOTHING! They denied me.I never once missed a job assignment given to me or like I said earlier, I never rejected an assignment.If I could give any feedback to the business it would be to give the ones that have proven themselves that they want to work to give them that 2nd chance or opportunity to do so..because on the REAL..they truly lost a great employee over the application process!But like I said in the beginning, NEW ERA is definitely the BEST staffing agency I have ever worked for! Its just this flaw that forced me to rate 3 stars! So whenever applying keep in mind that the APPLICATION PROCESS is like an interview!! Make sure you show up or else you will be automatically rejected!

They committed fraud to me. Worked for 90 days straight. I did all training but when the site didnt want to convert me or continue paying for my overtime and blamed me for missing a training course that didnt. New Era covered the client and said I gave poor work and did not complete even though I didnt leave until all work was done making 10 or 12 hour days. They said I had another job to unemployment and had quit, so now I have to pay unemployment 4000 dollars because they didnt want to pay. So if you do work for them get a lawyer.

If you need work they will give it to you, this is a temp to hire places that they send you to. So if your think working min wage is okay then go for it but when you do get hired at the place your were place your wage will increse. Keep in mind this company is newer compared to some of the others so work will be slim but, work is work when you get into it. Also this is a warehouseing temp company, so dont expect to be working at a target or somthing from them.

This is literally the worst place to work. Id advise working in fast food before this place since you actually get health care, a raise in pay and they offer you some kind of permenence. My past experience with this place was absolutely horrid. They send you places you have no chance in getting hired on so they can basically milk you until you quit or get fed up. They pay you the lowest rate possible, I figured that out by changing agencies. They are like the used car salesmen of temp agencies. They hound you constantly and offer no help in your job search other than sending you to places who still have temps from 2 years ago. I would check out prologistix or logic staffing before this place in the very least their staff is courteous and treats you like an actual human being. Oh not to mention when you actually get away from this place, dont put it on your resume. By the way new era, dont bother responding to this. You had 6 months of my time to make a decent impression, all of which you wasted trying to herd me torwards the next dead end place. Dont blame the companies for your wages. Send your employees places they have the opportunity to make a living.

I called New Era HR Staffing to ask about a postition they had listed and asked what company it was that I would be working for. I was told oh we cant tell you that. Then when I said well why would I apply to a position for a company I cant research I was promptly hung up on.I would not waste my time with this recruiting agency, they are very unprofessional.
