An absolute master piece of a shop, very well organized, amazing customer service! Great for LEO, FD, Military, and more too. Very open, sweet, and kind hearted employees! They always get the job done right. No matter what you are looking for, they can either get it precise, or spice it up and suggest even better! They follow the Covid guidelines very well, and try their best to have customers listen to these guidelines. They offer drinks (legal drinks, duh) when youre done, and there is never a problem with their systems when paying. Possibly the best haircut youll get, have, and be proud of in the Central Alabama area!

Just drove in from out of town and needed a haircut for my meeting the next day. This place is not the normal place I would go, but why not!Went to my appointment and was a little disappointed by the lack of masks, not by everyone but by some. My stylist was wearing a mask which made me feel better. She introduced herself(Taryn). Had some very friendly conversation and left looking better than I came in. She did a great job and if I’m ever back in town. I’ll definitely be back.

Not a bad place to get a haircut if you dont mind waiting.

Before COVID, this was a great place to get your haircut. I referred everyone I knew to this place. However, lately it’s the worst place in Auburn to get a hair cut. On two separate occasions, in the past 3 weeks, I have left after waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. Their is no pressure to stay on schedule. The new hair stylists take forever. Their is no receptionist, the stylists are expected to cut hair and schedule appointments. Making the wait for a haircut even longer. Would not recommend going here, unless you have 1-2 hours to kill.

Great place to get a cut and to take my boys (4&8 yo). Grab a coke, water or beer while you wait. Great atmosphere. Great cuts.

I have been coming here for years. On my most recent visit I made an appointment and showed up 10 minutes early and was told to sit down and that someone would be with me shortly. After sitting for 40 minutes I eventually just got up and left. I have better ways to spend my afternoon. I will not be returning.

My husband went here to get a trim. He came back MAD with his bangs super short and gaps in the layering. The girl who did his hair has only been licensed for a month. I know that practice makes perfect, but still. Beard trim was alright, hence the 2 stars instead of 1.

Grace gives the best haircut Ive ever had (the picture next to this review is dated), and the J4H prices are basically the same as the chain haircut place. (Even if the price is $2 more, then its definitely worth it.) I really recommend this place.

I asked for a 1.5 inches on the top and then a little shorter on the sides. This process is suppose to be done with scissors on the top and maybe a razor on the side. I’ve went here before and had it done no problem. This time however, the lady gave me a buzz cut out of nowhere. I couldn’t even react by tre time she took a razor down my head. The sideburns are uneven and the whole haircut is a mess. I wanted a nice trim for prom and now it’s completely ruined. The stylist was destiny and if I ever come back I will never choose her. Grace did my hair perfect last time but she was busy at the time and I thought a random one would be nice. I could not be more wrong in my life

As mentioned by someone in a previous review, there needs to be more staff, and a MUCH greater sense of urgency from existing staff, on the weekend. Lots of people waiting, only 3 stylists available. Extremely long wait for my six year old stepson. We ended up leaving after waiting an hour and still having 3 or 4 people ahead of us. Called and went to SportsClips who said their wait time was 10 minutes.

Tried it for the first time, they had no clue what to do. And the attitude was not at all friendly and welcoming! Just wow! And $20 for that service is better spent elsewhere!!

Please proceed with caution if you get your haircut here. I am sure some of the ladies are very competent and will give you great service, but both a friend and I have had our hair very messed up for a long time due to a lack of competency on our barbers part. The friendliness of the staff was greatly appreciated, but my friend had to completely shave his head the haircut was so atrocious.

For me the only appeal here is that you are able to drink a beer and get a haircut at the same time. It was nice the first time but the novelty quickly wore off. Now its just an overpriced haircut given by from I could only tell to be a stuck up girl with a lack of conversation skills. I wont be going back.

It was a very awkward experience because the lady didnt say more than a few sentences the entire time. I was the only person in the building and it was dead silent (except for a radio). I even tried to initiate small-talk but that didnt work out. It made for a very awkward experience. The haircut was very cookie cutter, not bad, but stereotypical mens short-hair haircut. Im not really looking to be entertained, but some effort to be personable wouldve been appreciated. When I left I actually thought to myself, Well, that was weird.

Great potential, horrible management. Will only have 2-3 of their employees working on Saturday when they get their customer rush youll wait for 1-2 hrs. During the week there will be 5 girls, 2 customers. Seems like poor use of employees.

Bad experience. I showed the person how I wanted my hair and it was nothing close. She did not say one word to me the whole haircut. Didnt even smile. I wont be coming back. I dont recommend it.
