As a current employee at Reliance One, I can genuinely say I enjoy my job, and really value the culture. I had no experience starting out as a recruiter and my colleagues were so helpful, walking me through each process and encouraging me along the way. My coworkers and Management team are really supportive of my growth, and they offer flexibility in the job including working from home and providing the right technology to be successful working at home. Reliance One really cares about their employees.

While I was in college I would bounce back and forth between Michigan and New York. Reliance One was always there to answer my call when I knew I would be in town for a while. They placed me in a handful of short term positions and I had nothing but the best experience.Fast forward a few years and I was placed at an automotive supplier as an intern. Excellent experience! My recruiter met me at the facility, walked me in and introduced me to my supervisor. Throughout my experience there my recruiter reached out to me and always checked in. It felt really genuine.A couple of years after that, along with moving across the country and back, I again reached out to them and they placed me on a short term contract with another automotive supplier. This position went well past the short term date and my recruiter and the account manager advocated for me as my supervisor considered hiring me on direct. I did end up going direct and made a career out of that short term position. Even beyond being hired direct I would still occasionally get a call from or run into someone who I had gotten to know at Reliance and it was always a great conversation with laughs. They really put in their time and effort to maintain a relationship over the years. Theyre the first company Ive always told my friends to turn to when they find themselves looking for new employment and Ill continue to do so because of the great experiences Ive had.

Reliance One Inc and I have partnered for over 10+ years. They are a valued resource and trusted partner of mine. I have counted on them over the years to assist my clients in finding the right resource for their open positions and bringing quality candidates to the table. I have had the opportunity to be in their offices and experience the positive work environment, and team work of their employees first hand. I endorse Reliance One as a strategic business partner, and an Employer of Choice.

I was recruited by Reliance One, under the not so correct statement that I would be hired after 30 days. Then I was subsequently told 90 days. When 90 days came, I was told that they have no control over the clients hiring practices. Isnt there an agreement first between they and the client as to those terms? I didnt like being mislead. However, when the pandemic struck and affected us all, Reliance One most graciously continued to pay me at my rate for 320 hours time after being released. Believe they were able to get the Federal funds. I will say, that this almost nearly makes up for being mislead and/or lied to in the beginning. I would though happily return to work through them, if it were so offered...just a little bit more wise than before. Health insurance, albeit expensive, was offered, but I understood that I would be hired by the client in 90 days anyways. That didnt happen, so subsequently, I went without health insurance. Bad move for me, but I stayed with the client because I liked my boss, and the job, and I was learning new things everyday. If I wouldve been hired on direct, I wouldnt be filing unemployment today. Client was flagged as an Essential Business.I am overall thankful for being placed and given the chance, by Reliance One. Special thanks goes to Steve Ellsworth & Emily Qualls. James Paquette, pretty sure weve met once before, & you chose not to reply to my email. Thanks though, for your role in my survival.

I have worked for Reliance One filling in for temporary positions within the medical reception field. My recruiter was there from start to finish! They walk you through the hiring process, make you aware of what jobs are available on a daily basis, check in with you on interview day and follow up with you throughout the experience to make sure everything is going well. I would definitely recommend working for Reliance One Inc. My experience was great!

Its what you make of it! Staffing is a performance-based industry, where the bulk of your income will come from commission. Yes, there are definitely expectations that youre expected to meet (which you are told about during the interview process), but if youre driven and competitive, you can do well and make some good money. It ultimately wasnt for me, but I enjoyed working with the majority of the people there and still keep in touch with many of them. Whether or not they realize it, I think most negative things that people say are really geared more toward the industry in general than the company; as I said, this job/industry is not for everyone. In the end, I learned a lot while there and wouldnt discourage anyone from working at R1.In regards to some of the comments, they seem a little unfair. To say someone deserves to be fired for not replying to an email is a bit much. The person being referred to actually trained and mentored me, and is not only extremely professional, but one of the most successful and helpful recruiters Ive worked with at any company. Everyone deserves good customer service, but there is such thing as human error, and I know that theres no chance he would intentionally not respond to a potential candidate. To slam an organization (and a person!) in a public forum over something like that isnt right. This may seem harsh, but you always have to consider the source when reading reviews as well... Unfortunately, in any performance/metrics-based environment, low performers will not make it. I understand how these people can feel angry, but you cant pay someone who doesnt make the company money. The nice thing about R1 is that they will work with you well before it reaches that point and I honestly think they try to give you every opportunity to be successful. To sum up, a career at R1 is what you make of it. Its either for you or its not, and thats not a bad thing. The owners were nice and down to earth, most people seemed to care, and they never forced any type of crazy hours on me.

Im working with them right now and I want to tell the reviewers that are saying bad things, this this is fairly normal behavior for this type of company. Its not easy finding candidates for certain positions and sometimes they need to send out 100 queries to find one candidate. Its extremely competitive. And we are not their clients. The company that we are placed at is the client and its difficult to satisfy them - high pressure usually.Try to be nice and ready to make compromises. Im working with Keith right now and hes a good guy. Their job is not as easy as you expect.I just hope Keith places me at the client! Im not making it easy for him because I have some unusual requirements.Dont shy away from this company if you need work.

I was contacted randomly by Amanda Magretta about an opportunity. After a quick google search I let her know I found out that her company has terrible reviews and that I wasnt interested. Her response.Well unfortantley most of our bad reviews are from people that use to work here and were let go because of bad performance. Sadly younger people know a days do not have the best drive but they dont see it that way.Any how this position is not for a position at Reliance One this position is for an insurance company. Was curious if this was something you would be interested in or if you may know someone looking.Spelling errors, Grammar errors, clearly doesnt care what the company image is, and just blames young people. On top of that, it makes me believe the reviews are right and they dont care who you are just trying to meet their numbers.STAY AWAY

I highly recommend not working with or for this company. Internal employees are severely underpaid and overworked. The management is very unprofessional, vulgar, and shady. They set goals to earn perks and then change them as soon as they get hit so people’s ple can’t earn rewards. The turn over rate is extremely high, and there is no job security. Very disappointed with the year I gave this company only to get nothing in return. I am glad I quit when I did before getting wasting more time on a lost cause company.

Highly unprofessional. Ryan Baranik sends emails that there is interest in potential employment. He asks you to replay if you are interested and after replay he doesn’t answer anymore. He contacted me first so at least he could have shows a little respect for the candidate. Stay away from these types of people and companies. People like Ryan Baranik should be fired .

They will use your references as leads to solicit their services. A former manager I keep in touch with told me that someone from Reliance contacted him well after he completed the reference survey that was sent to him regarding my performance. The person asked him if and what staffing agencies they used, when he stated that he has no influence on hiring he was pressed to give information pertaining to who was. They want two supervisory type references and now it makes sense why. Please remember at the end of the day these folks are salespeople looking to hit quotas and numbers. Very unprofessional utilization of somebodys personal information.

I cant say that Ive had a less professional experience before while working with an employment agency. After a good while of time spent talking to one of their employees about a position it turned out that they had the wrong person. They just hung up, too, not bothering to say sorry for wasting my time during my lunch. I have never been treated less professionally before and I will not recommend working with this firm to any of my peers.

I dealt with Bradley Rogers. He cobtacted me in regards to a position for a company I had previously worked for. Told me he would send my info over and let me know if the company would take me back or not. He informed me that no matter what the answer was he would be in contact to let me know. He never contacted me again, and never returned my calls. Stay away from Reliance One as there is nothing reliable about them.

Very sleazy and unprofessional bunch. Contacted by them about a position that apparently does not even exist as I was sent a job description that does not even match what was discussed over the phone and had been lifted word for word another site. The only real interest he had was in getting my references, but only if they were managers. Apparently this is how Reliance One thinks its going to build its business. Do you think really think youre going to be cold calling these people and getting any business?
