I arrived to pick up my rental and when I got there they informed me that my rental was given to someone else because I was 45 minutes late to pick it up. They provided me no courtesy call nor did they try to accommodate me. I usually go to enterprise for my rentals but not anymore. Hertz saved the day with great service and prices.

This location is Horrible didn’t have the vehicle I originally reserve... whole purpose for the rental.. then after the return overcharged me for gas due to employee not inputting information.... never a good experience from this location enterprise has declined... and had the nerve to have me on hold listening to how they customer service is good !!! Terrible service. I always rent from Enterprise and usually have great service but this time I was late picking up my rental and was told I have to get whatever is available and I couldnt use my free upgrade. The young lady who waited on me was very rude. The car they gave me had scratches and dents all round it. The gas tank was half empty. The tire pressure light was on in the vehicle and the car had no mats at all. Terrible service.

I almost never give bad reviews...So both my cars ended up in the shop and ive only ever used National for business travel. I was excited to try enterprise,so I booked on the app and hailed an uber. I arrived there and they informed me they didnt have any cars even though i had a confirmed rental. ok i get it, it happens. i asked about there other locations and they gave me a card to call their other locations?!? 5 people there behind the desk with no available cars and all they can do is give me a card and tell me to call other locations?!? Im a business owner and if one of my employees didnt at least try and remedy a situation like this they would at least be reprimanded. I had to uber back home and cancel my meeting i was trying to get to. They could have at least arranged another rental location and drove me there, but they did nothing. Step it up Enterprise! I wanted to like you. I really did...sorry...

Very rude, the line you call sends you to a reservation line and guess what they are not even in this country you ask several times are you sure they have a car and told yes every time just to get a call back from the location saying no we have no cars available don not use them if in a bind and trying to get to work they are no help

The first car had a malfunction warning light come on after having the car for 20 minutes. The 2nd car that I was given was smaller and filthy. The 3rd car was just returned, so it was rushed to be washed and given to me smelling like weed and on empty but I took it. It got me where I needed to go and back.This was the first time that I rented from this location. I found out the location that I thought I was renting from was closed when I received a confirmation call a few days before pick up. I like the Sylvan Lake location better.Although it was not the easiest rental experience for me, it worked out in the end. I like Enterprise Car Rental so hopefully my next rental experience will be better.

I had a horrible experience renting from Enterprise located in Auburn Hills, on Opdyke Rd. will not be returning any time soon...if at all.Horrible customer service.They NEVER answer the phone. I had to drive over 20 minutes twice in one week while renting, just to ask a simple question because no one would answer the phone.

Be ready to book a car and once u reach the location they will tell u we have no cars.I had a 8 am reservation showed up late and young lady with attitude told me ‘ you came late hon ‘ you should be here within an hour from ur appointment.Then i booked online ‘the website allowed me’ and they still didn’t give me a car.I have to cancel my plans just because i booked a car form enterprise!Also even if they had enough cars be ready to hear’ we have few options’ so they push you to pay for a high rate per day car !Disappointing experience!

Confirmed my reservation. I arrived at the stated time - they told me “sorry we have no cars” - when I asked what I’m supposed to do, given I’m now stranded 30 mins away from home they suggested “take an Uber or Lyft” which is completely unacceptable. They came out 15 mins later (while I’m waiting for my Uber that’s now 5 mins away) and said they found a car at a location 15 mins away, but offered no help to get there. A complete waste of time and energy - Completely unreliable. I’ll be avoiding enterprise at all costs both locally and on business travel from now on.

Enterprise is great to rent through, and always try to make things right, unlike other chains we have used. Only reason not 5 stars is the Aurburn Hills, MI branch has a disproportionately large number of vehicles that smell from smoke and have to search several to find one that does not.

Had to return to this location two times due to worn down break pads on the first car. When we returned it to receive a new car we were handed a old, smelly & dirty minivan. The minivan was covered in grease marks, old stains and sticky buttons. The best part is they have a pice of paper “certifying” the cars cleanliness. We even asked the worker about all the stains and mess with basically him only responding with “it’s okay” and we wouldn’t get charged for the pre made mess and sent us off without a rental agreement, walk through or anything. The car also didn’t even have a full tank of gas!

Zero stars! Could possibility be the WORST service I’ve experienced. Had to call multiple locations in the area to pick up a vehicle. When you try calling the direct line it routes you to a call center and you have go through a ton prompts to get to the actual location to speak to someone. Once you get through to someone, you’re left with zero options on vehicle type “ because we’re low on inventory” or “sorry we’re really busy try calling our other location”. Once I finally spent hours on the phone and booked a vehicle, I had to drive out of my way to the farthest location to pick up. The vehicle I had turned out to have garbage under the driver and passenger seats which created stench in the vehicle which became intolerable after a day of driving (didn’t notice when I picked up the vehicle). I then called back to explain the issue to swap out for a new vehicle and was told the same bunch of excuses (sorry we don’t have any vehicles available). I decided to just drive to the location closest to my house after they told me they had nothing to swap out, but to my surprise when I spoke to someone else it was NO problem at ALL!!! In the end, I was able to get into a new vehicle, but it took a TON of effort on my side to fight for it. They also didn’t offer a discount for the inconvenience which was surprising (even after I asked). Enterprise seems to be the only game in town and they know it. They don’t care too much to tell the customer “no” or even offer up solutions. Extremely disappointed with the service and the lack of CLEAN vehicles available. The amount of time I wasted, it would be worth to drive out of the way to one of their competitors to get better service.

Not the most pleasant experience. I made a reservation for a standard car and they gave me a minivan. I told them that I wasn’t comfortable with driving a bigger vehicle and was told that that was my only choice. I said that I would be willing to go to another enterprise if they had any availability. Without even checking they told me no. It ended up being an old, smelly minivan. Every available compartment was left open in it. It was gross inside! Will not be renting from them again.

The only thing I dont like about this place location is that no weekend rentals and always when I rent they have late rentals none are available in the morning early even if you have reservations when you get there your in the same status as everyone else I try take in consideration that the pandemic everyone is renting but they still should accommodate since reservations are a lie and not held accountable on their part.

HORRID, avoid this place at all cost. Complained to corporate about this location and the manager I had to deal with. Screw ups and dirty car with noises coming from the rear right tire on a Nissan Altima they tried making me keep. I had to drive all the way to Ohio to swap out my vehicle on my way to TN with my kids in the car. Customer Service here is ZERO. I will drive out of my way for my next rental. Do not bother sending me your automated response I have already spoke to customer service and corporate.

I have rented from this location several times.Reserved a full size car.Was given a good car but within a few miles of the trip had to return as the Engine was heating up.Got a replacement and everything worked out fine.Rental Manager Daniel Lorentzen was helpful, courteous and upgraded to a better car.Thanks for making my trip pleasant.Great job Daniel and will be renting again in July.Recently hired a car to go to Pittsburgh PA.Thanks to Keith to give me a good car. I called and made reservations before going. After getting there my debit was not acceptable. After getting an acceptable card then was informed of a 250.00 deposit so i had to leave the second time to secure that deposit. Time spent 1:45- 5:15 pm. Once there I was told they dont reimburse on rides in.My rep was super nice, but overall Im disappointed with the service, and basically being left holding the bag for my rental.Whats worse, I called another Enterprise further away and they told me they would have came and got me.Not happy at all. This has greatly disillusioned me from wanting to do business with Enterprise again.

I like to rent cars from this location. Friendly staff. You get great cars for reasonable prices. You can get a drop off and pick up without much hassle and much wait time. The wait time for picking up is not really much. There is usually enough staff to take care of you, even on busy days.

Ive used them several times, never been denied renting because I only have a debit card. I took a car from Kentucky to Georgia with them and the driver stopped to get us lunch on our way to their location. I provided by debit card, they took my info, signed papers, and we left.At this location, there was no way to rent without a card, and the people who offered has to be the drivers. So frustrating! Ended up walking or using Uber instead...

I felt that the Chrysler 200 that I rented for just one day was a bad experience the tires on the car were almost bald cleanliness of the vehicle inside and out should have been better I needed a vehicle for one full day I had a lot of running around to do I had friends and family to take care of the whole day was about driving when I got on the expressway I didnt notice right away the car brakes were bad they got worse,,, there had to been some kind of warped rotor the car shake every time I stepped on the brakes needless to say my whole entire trip the car shake every time I stepped on the brakes I have no problem telling Enterprise when I got back what I felt was wrong with the vehicle I felt the vehicle was very unsafe I did not want anybody else to drive it until the vehicle can be taken care of properly inspected by a brake specialist the very young gentlemen showed great concern he tried to tell me how you guys take this matter very seriously he apologized very very sincerely even though he knocked down half my bill he assured me that he would have the car looked at I was thinking of somebody else did not need to have the experience I did I believe in your company I was very happy with the service being taken care of I have many years renting with you I appreciate your business and all that your company does for me I think you guys do a great job and every single Department thank you for taking care of me when I am in need whoever reads this please have a blessed day

Friendly, helpful customer service. My only issue is that they charged my card toll fees without contacting me. The only reason I discovered it was from checking my credit card statement. If I would have missed it I wouldnt have gotten a reimbursement from my company so I just wish they would have called or sent an email.

Great car (Dodge Charger), not the cleanest despite only having 5000 miles on it. The only real complaint is that we picked up the car with a full tank of gas and the miles to empty read 489 miles. We filled it up twice on our trip and the miles to empty increased to 589 miles to empty both times. After looking at the owners manual the 589 mark is accurate. Not that its big deal but thats 4 gallons of gas X 2 since we filled it upon return and that equates to $20.00. Someone needs to do a better job verifying this by checking the miles to empty reading!

I will not be renting from them again. I rented from them consistently as I work in MI once a month. The service had been tolerable, but often getting a car that hadnt been cleaned, or with 1/2 tank of gas. I received a phone call last night to confirm my rental for today, which I confirmed. I received a phone call this morning 30 minutes before I was to pick up my car saying sorry, we rented out all of our cars, there is nothing we can do. So my reservation meant nothing. Now I have to find a different rental, much further away and pay a higher cost. I will not get burnt by them again.

Day before my rental, I was asked if I really needed both vehicles. When I answered yes, the guy responded with I better get working on that. My reservation was at least a week old at that point.Information that was not advised when I reserved two vans- you cant use one credit card to pay for both. That created a very hostile response on my part as NO ONE mentioned that to me when I made the reservation.Staff member who handled my rental and payment issue apologized at the end of it all, but this was not the first time I was disappointed by Enterprise.

Renter beware. We reserved a car with a scheduled pick-up time of 2:00 assuming we just had to be there before they closed to pick up the car. When my husband arrived at 4:30pm, he was told the car had been given to someone else as he was too late arriving. They did have another car available but it was an upgrade which he declined to take. After 45 minutes they called Enterprise in Sylvan Lake and they said there was a car for us there. The car in Sylvan Lake was actually an up-grade, but they gave it to us at the price we had booked.Apparently if you are an hour past scheduled pick-up time they can give the car away with no responsibility. Anyone ever read the 3 pages or disclaimer???Would not go there again.

The office was slammed which means it took about 20 minutes for me to be seen. I was perfectly fine with that and the person working the counter was very apologetic. He made sure everything was up to order and was very forthcoming with everything. I got a different car (upgrade) and for the wait he marked my gas tank as half full even though it was a full tank.I only had 1 issue and that was he didnt tell me that the damage waiver was optional and he did automatically sign me up for it. That was an extra $20/day fee. After reading the contract I did contact them and they said I could take it off if I bring it up to make sure there was no damage to the vehicle. I decided not to but I was glad I would have been able to. I brought this up when I turned the car and the worker said they would refund me 4 days worth of the DW.Overall, I was highly impressed with this location and the customer service was top notch. I plan on renting from them again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I made a reservation at 1:45 pm. I told them I would be there in 5 minutes. They told me to wait until after 2:00 pm. I show up at 2:10 and they tell me sorry we just rented it 10 minutes ago. They offered me a truck but only if I would pay double the price. That is the worst business practice I have ever heard of. If you book a reservation, you need to honor it. I will NEVER use enterprise again.

I wanted to notify management my local Auburn Hills Enterprise office, on Opdyke Rd., has always treated me with extreme understanding. I am a senior permanently disabled person. I have been renting 2 times a month since September 2017. This office makes every effort to find a vehicle I will be able to drive safely and also will be comfortable in driving. The staff always take the time to greet me with pleasant conversation and asks about my health and family. I cant say enough how much this kind and patience treatment is appreciated by this senior person in todays other wisedfast paced crude services. Thank you for asking my opinion. They gave me bad vehicle, one of the tires pressure was low, it was vibrating on the highway.The vehicle was delivered to me with the gas tank like 3/4 and they charged the refill to a full tank.I would not recommend this location at all.There are a couple of other locations in Rochester Hills, they do better service.

I booked full size vehicle at this location (Ford Fusion or better) with corporate rate. I am disappointed with the rental process at this location and not planning to go to this make shift facility anymore in future. Here are some of the issues.1. They did not have the car I booked. I have to take Chrysler 200 and they charged me the same price. On top of this this facility manager David argued they are the same class of vehicle. Probably Chrysler and Ford should eduate these guys.2. Trash from the vehicle was not cleaned.3. I briefly explained my issues to some other manager while returning. She was suppose to call me back last week. I am still waiting ..Overall, I agree with several other comments on this location - not customer friendly employees. Hopefully enterprise looks at these comments and improve the facility.

Horrible experience where common sense should have out weighed a policy that was clearly vague and not being applied appropriately. Going outside the norm & after spending $96 in Uber costs between DTW and #enterprise in Auburn Hills why did I decide to stick it out with @Enterprise today even after I was told Id have no problem further problems at the airport location? The whole day is gone.. Ive got a roundtrip itinerary‍‍ if its with 2 different airlines you still see me coming and going. Youve then taken away the ability to selfbook flights outside of a 3rd party. It was news to see in Michigan and youre an out of state traveler utilizing a debit card you cant do it unless its the airport location. Customers must have proof of a ticketed return or outbound trip from the location where the vehicle will be returned on an airline, cruise ship or train. Per enterprise own policy Customers must have proof of a ticketed return or outbound trip from the location where the vehicle will be returned on an airline, cruise ship or train. For customers not deplaning or disembarking at the rental location and/or do not have evidence of a return or outbound trip, Debit/Check cards are only accepted as a form of payment at the time of return.

When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the manager at my pick up location informed me that I was late in picking up my minivan and she did not know if she had a vehicle available for me. I told her my pick-up time was 4 pm and she said the reservation stated 12 noon. I booked the reservation through the 800 number, and I told the representative that I would pick up the vehicle at 4 pm and she wrote the time wrong on the reservation. Unfortunately, I did not notice this in my confirmation email. Luckily for me, the establishment did have a minivan available to use for my trip. My biggest complaint dealt with what was told to me on the phone was not the policies of the Enterprise facility where I picked up the vehicle. The manager informed me that the corporate office in St. Louis has their own policies and procedures and each branch has theirs as well. I felt this is BAD business, because what is promised to you on the phone is not what is given to you upon pickup! As far as the vehicle, we were very satisfied.

We had to rent a car while ours was being serviced. It wasnt a bad experience until I dropped the car off today. The man who took the car back was rude. He asked me so did you forget to put gas in the car? I said that I didnt know that it needed gas, I hadnt been driving. He then said to me The car has been driven 62 miles, what part of you didnt think it would need gas? I have no problem putting gas in the car but I do have a problem with the way I was spoken to. If I ever have to rent from enterprise again, it will not be from this location. Clearly, they do not care how they treat customers.

Where do I start with this place, its a disaster, I wish we can give you a big ass 0!! My colleagues are in town from different location and have been trying to rent a car for 3 days now and you guys keep renting the car to other people, for 2 days you kept apologizing and telling us you will drop the car off and our work location and you failed at that as well. With this being said keep giving us exuses that you thought that we were coming to pick up the car even tho there is no car. 2 of our business meetings had to be canceelled and rescedulled because people didnt have a car to come and were late. I cannot belive that someone can run a business so immature like this. I dont even know why my company deals with you guys. With this being said today is 10/20/2017 I will besending our HR corporate wide emailes not to deal with you guys anymore, because every time we do there have been, alsways some issues with you guys. Thanks for nothing.
