This was my 1st fishing cruise. Captain Chris, and 1st Mate Ian were helpful, informed and ready to help everyone on board. We were called “anglers” when addressed over the loud speaker and I appreciated that. I took the afternoon fishing cruise and on that day it was a light cruise and not crowded. I would recommend this 4 hr fishing service. For relaxing, a day a way from the norm. I will return before winter sets in.

Highly over booked and allowed walk-ins to take priority. Boat was not fueled up and we were made to get off the cramped boat. There was no safe distance to fish or breathe. When we tried to speak to the owner he was incredibly rude and insisted he did not care and there would be no accomodation made.Do not waste your time saving money with con artists

Was a great trip, didnt catch anything big but caught a lot of flounder and sea bass. It was a very nice relaxing ride and shipmate Ian was excellent! Any help needed he was there in a flash! Would definitely go again

I don’t know what captain was running the 8-12 trip this morning but he needs to learn how to treat people.My husband, son and a bunch of friends got on the boat. They were all set up when a guy placed a blue bag on the seat where my son was. He had spoke up and said someone was sitting there. The guy, who they found out was the captain, said “then I’ll move it when they sit down.” That was rude and uncalled for.They went on the trip and all were having a great time! Caught some keeps and some they had to throw back. Mates were great.Then the trip came to an end. They had such a great time they wanted to stay for the afternoon trip. I booked them all tickets and they were waiting to board again. The captain was spraying down the boat getting it ready and he splashed them once, then again and then hit my son in the face. When they spoke up and said something his response was “I’m doing the best I can” not one apology offered. Then it happened again with the same sorry excuse. At this point after 5 times it was being done on purpose and still not a single apology.Two of our friends refused to get back on and left. The rest of them all went up, explained what happened and asked for a refund for the second trip.Unfortunately this ruin all the fun that was had and we won’t be booking again. We’ll find another boat to try.

Fun boat trip. Fishing was slow, but our group managed 2 keeper fluke. Captain is very salty. Mate was great.

Great experience! Easy to find. We all caught something. Our fish were not big enough so we couldnt keep it, but we had lots of fun. Its not deep water so you dont need Dramamine (if water isnt your thing). They have snacks and beer on board for purchase but you CAN bring your own stuff. Lots of fun! I would recommend and cant wait to go back.

Best party boat out of Atlantic City. The Captain and mates make for a really good fishing experience. Its always a great time, even when you dont get any keepers.

Friends family, seniors, and kids all share one thing...a love for the High Roller, best darn back bay fishing experience you can imagine.Four hour trips, great captains and mates do everything for you except catch the fish.They put you on the fish and you will catch fish, if they are biting.WE used to waste time and money chartering for flounder, not any more.High Roller is a 5 star deal.

If I could rate negative stars I would very unprofessional over booked and when asked where to go with my group I was told fined a spot on a over packed boat which was already booked in advanced 10/10 recommended spending your money at bass pro shops and fishing off the pier instead

We booked online for the morning trip at 8am. It was super easy. We showed up a little early to make sure we found the place but it was super easy to get to. Everyone was nice and friendly. The boat left exactly on time. The mate was nice enough to show us how to use the fishing rod correctly and was generally very helpful and sweet. It should be noted that we went out the day after a particularly rough tropical storm. It wasnt ideal fishing and no one caught something we could legally keep. Despite this, we still had a great time. No one can control nature and I know this was a particularly unusual circumstance! Kudos for the crew for sticking to the law and not allowing anyone to keep fish less than 18. I thought this was very honorable. We got to see some interesting wildlife and got a little tour of the bay! The price was very reasonable. I would definitely use this company again.To those reviewers saying that the captain was rude. I think it should be noted that the rules were very clearly explained. Anyone who did something silly enough to be rebuked should apologize for their mistake rather than writing a nasty review. One person acting stupid puts the boat, the other passengers, and the livelihood of the crew at risk. If your ego cannot stand up to being gently corrected, maybe you should just stay home.Long story short: fun trip, great price, 5 stars

Captain and mate were very helpful and knowledgeable. Passengers caught several keepers on our flounder trip. We caught many other fish and crabs while we were out. An entertaining trip to say the least. Would absolutely recommend

We had a great time on the boat. Chris and John did a great job. John was there anytime anyone needed him. It was a much needed trip!

Went out on this boat Tuesday and it was the worst experience I ever had on a fishing trip. We were out for4 hrs and only 2 people took 3 fish home the driver didn’t care if we catching fish but only what he could sell on the boat.. then they fixed us off on the biggest fish prize. They took the fish that the people did catch and put them all together and at the end they came up with some weight thing, they took our money. Then the driver ran into the dock parking the boat don’t do it!!! Rip off boat trip!!!

Went out twice on the Highroller didnt catch anything go out when the Son is the captain. He works harder then the Dad.

Excellent boat, bathroom on board, plenty of room to move around, and shade from the hot sun. Captain takes you out, and the mate sets you up to catch fish. Constantly checking your bait, and chumming! We’ve Caught flounder, blues, and even striper off the Highroller. All you need to bring is a cooler of drinks, and you’re good to go. Highly recommended.

Took my youngest son Fishing and he did phenomenal 1st time salt water fishing, The staff were wonderful especially 1st mate John, all very friendly and very helpful would recommend them to any body if youre looking to go out and have a good time,best place to go, Thanks for a great experie nce gentleman👍

Extremely rude captin! I would never recommend this to ANYONE! We came to AC for my husbands birthday from Maryland to have a good time. We got to the boat early at 7:00 to get good seats and we were a group of 4. Apparently the captain had some friends with him and took us out of our spots so his friends could sit there and he said my boat I make up my own rules! And he took our rods away. He didnt even ask if we could move down or anything. The entire way he treats people is just RUDE!!!

Been fishing on the High Roller for the past six years. Have a short vacation in AC every year and always make the boat part of it. Captain and first mate always friendly and helpful.

Owner was very rude and all he cared about was advertising his boat to people on the beach. Dont waste your money on this boat.

Nice day and it wasnt that expensive, but the captain is EXTREMELY RUDE. Day started out bad when the mate didnt show up on time. The captain called the mate on his cell phone and totally berated the guy. Every other word out of his mouth was F***. Everyone on the boat heard this tirade. When he hung up he continued the rant. Then we finally got out to the bay and the Captain apparently had another boat out there, I believe it may have been his son driving the other boat. As we drifted in the back bay, Captain Mike didnt like the fact that the other boat was within 100 feet of us, so he stood up on the bench and yelled out FU** YOU to the other boat while giving him the finger. Then he turned to all of us on the boat and said FU**in Retard (referring to the other boat). Real classy captain. Good thing my girlfriend who was with me was not easily offended. NEVER would I recommend this clown.

The captain was VERY mean he yelled and screamed when something little happened he says if it happens again no more fishing for you he was a very mean person! He is also against kids! I got sea sickness
