The guy that worked at the store made me wait for 45 mins he said He could take cash payment but if I was using a card I would have to wait to pay my bill 30 or more mins he said. So I waited then he became very strange like he was on drugs. I have a call into cooperate as a result I wont say more on that matter. He was rude he scared me and he made me wait to pay my bill for more than 30 mins because I did not have cash. To add insult to injury, after I waited for more than 30 mins he refused to let me make my payment. I had to drive 30 mins out of my way to go to another boost store where I reported that man. I was able to make my payment for internet after almost 2 hours at another store where they were very helpful. Unreal. That guy is scary to say the least. Do not go there while he is working.

Best experience I’ve ever had when it comes to a phone carrier!! Chris was an outstanding guy! He genuinely cared about saving me money and how good my experience there was! If there was an option for 10 stars I’d sure click it! Again best experience I’ve ever had and Chris was the man!! If you’re in the market make sure you go to the boost on Mayport I promise you won’t regret it!!

Worst store ever!!! In less than 5 minutes I was kicked out of the store with an: “I do not have time for this”.My whole objective was to get a sim card for my Mom who doesn’t live in the country but I want her to have a phone while she is visiting us, easy no? Well, I got into the store nobody besides me in the store and I even couldn’t tell all this information to the “customer representative” before he said he doesn’t have time for this. Hey man I was just asking why do you need my information (phone number and pin) if I am trying to get a sim for somebody else. What an attitude!

Chris Is A Legend. Probably one of the most down to earth employees Ive met in a long time. He lays out a step by step procedure of what hes gonna do so your not confused Very Profesional, Not only did he try his Very Best to help me Activate my phone and SUCCEEDED!!!! He truly cared for my situation called customer care we were there for about an hour and he still tried every possible way to help me. I had a Issue with activating my phone for a month or so. Other Boost stores giving me the wrong sim card. Telling me we cant help you. EVEN CUSTOMER SERVICE GAVE UP ON ME saying my phones not Compatible theres nothing we can do. Chris Didnt give up though, he pushed through every possible path and found a solution. He even double checked to make sure everything Works so Im Happy when I leave. My phone works now and Ive never been more satisfied with the way Chris provides service. Thanks Chris Your a Damn Legend!!!!!

I would do 1 star, but I see all the positive reviews & feel as though my experience couldve been a fluke due to the fact that the woman working was covering & does not normally work here. She was awful! Could not activate my new phone, could not troubleshoot it to get ot to work, and couldnt even give me a refund for my $180+ phone that she couldnt activate. I WASTED over an hour with her & to top it off.... her boyfriend & 2 kids (under 4yrs old) were extremely annoying & basically running around the store screaming & yelling. They finally left after 30 minutes.But yeah, it was a waste of time. She was unprofessional. Glad to see the Chris person mentioned in other reviews is so helpful bc that woman/girl subbing in was AWFUL

In boost now and Chris Johnson is the very best! He is such a kind guy! So helpful, and great customer service. He did everything he could for us while multitasking with other customers as well. He is just all around awesome!

I went in to get an upgrade and I was told that the upgrade is only good for the original line. The sales rep suggested an iPhone 6 S plus. Price was supposed to be $350 but I was charged $400 plus $50 activation fee. I went home with the phone then my grown kids said that model phone is 4 years old and They sell for $250. Rip off! The sales rep didn’t even activate the voicemail.You live and learn. Expensive lesson! I’m stuck making payments on my credit card for this phone.

I just switched my service over to boost mobile today from Metro pcs. Metro service is terrible and the customer service is just as awful. However the boost mobile sales rep was really helpful and explained everything i needed to know very well. Glad i cane to this location even though i live on the other side of town. The guy that runs this store is a shyster. I got an LG Stylo 4 Plus. Its $200.00 online, and has been for well over 7 months. I know because I bought one in December 2018.This loser charges me $270.00. Then to add to that this thief charges me another $105.00. He said it was the sales tax and activation fee. Why do I need an activation fee for an active account and since when does an activation fee cost $85? Its less than $20 for taxes on $270. Then I get home and look at my CC charges and another $21.00 was charged through the Boost Mobile store. So this POS charged me $390 for a $200 phone. Screw you pal, Karma will get you, and if that doesnt lets hope you rip off the wrong person one day. Hes a thief period. Do not go to this loser to get a phone. Get it online from the Boost store. Look to answer a BBB complaint as well pal.

My husband and I have been with boost mobile for about 8 years now. Weve generally had a good experience, however, we visited the boost mobile location on Mayport Rd in Jacksonville FL and I felt very offended by the way the representative went about the entire process.My husband recently broke his phone [lg tribute hd.... I do not recommend this phone for anyone by the way]. So we went to the boost mobile location to buy a new phone for him. The representative put in my husbands phone number and told us that he was eligible for an upgrade. When I asked how much we would save on the new phone he had just picked out she told us that the price does not change. What is the sense of having an upgrade available if it does nothing for the price?That was the first issue. We still wanted the phone however so we told her we would still get it. She went to the back to get the phone.So she rang up the phone [$59.99 plus tax] and informed us that our total was $90.When I asked why the total was so different from the price of the phone she told me that there is an activation fee. So I told her that I would activate the phone myself as I always do, she then told me that she cannot sell me the phone alone, we have to pay the activation fee.That is when I got frustrated. Ive never been told I couldnt purchase a phone from boost mobile simply because I wanted to save $30 on activation. Not only that, but the advertised price of a phone should include the activation fee if it is required to be paid to purchase the phone.I felt as if I was being cheated! My husband and I left the store and purchased the same phone for $69.99 at Wal-Mart; no activation fee required.Boost Mobile will be forced to close their locations if this is in fact a new policy they have put in place. They should advertise the activation fee at the very least. That is false advertisement.

The sales rep did not speak english very well. She called Boost to ask about my account and then handed me the phone to do her job. When I walked in she was helping another customer. She told me that she would be with me in a moment. When she was done with that customer she called me up. The customer was rude breaking in to my business asking questions again about her account. I got mad and told her that of she was done with her business that she needed to leave. That I had sat patiently waiting my turn and didnt interrupt. Not a very pleasant experience. Wish Chris waa there.
