I’ve used Atlantic coast before, and definitely recommend them but…. Let’s not be crazy.When your customer has the model and in my case just wants to replace the seal on a front load washer, to require two visits just so you can “diagnose” the problem before you order the part and come back to do the requested work is asinine.

Rachel was fantastic at setting up my appointment and maintained wonderful communication. She was very helpful, patient, and friendly. Eric, the technician arrived inside the scheduled window and had figured out the problem with my LG washer within a few minutes. It was either going to be a new motor or a new sensor. I feared the worst because I know motors are quite expensive. When he told me that it just the sensor, I was relieved and immediately knew he was spot on honest. The bonus was he had a replacement in his van, so no shipping or return visit. He had the sensor changed in a few minutes. I dont think he was here more than 25min total. Eric knows his stuff and it shows. He had us up and running in no time and the washer runs like a champ again. I can now proudly recommend all my friends and coworkers to use ACA for all their repair needs with no fear of being ripped off or changing parts unnecessarily. Its hard to find a trustworthy business today, but I can attest that youre in good hands with ACA.

Returned home after a couple days to a broken refrigerator/freezer where everything was melted and spoiled. Call Atlantic Coast Appliance around noon. They arrived in a couple hours as promised. Diagnosed and fixed quickly. Strongly recommend to anyone and would use them again! Thanks Aaron!

Hands down the BEST most HONEST appliance repair business in Jacksonville. Our dishwashers’ heating element went out and a gentleman from Atlantic Coast came out to repair but there was an issue with the newer technician when he went to fix it. It lead to the owners son coming out to try and repair it and they actually ended up replacing our dishwasher. Not only did they replace our dishwasher, work on the weekend twice, the owner of the company called me to personally apologize for the original dishwasher issue and even wished me luck and blessings on my upcoming surgery they were privy to. It was just so amazing to have that level of care. Anna and her husband are the owners and their son Aaron is one of the technicians and it’s just a very honorable, caring, professional business. They are super understanding and trustworthy and WE HAVE NEVER HAD THIS LEVEL OF CARE BY A BUSINESS BEFORE, EVER. I will NEVER use another repair company for as long as I’m Living in Jacksonville. I contacted this company to review a broken ice dispenser. The technician, Erick Wiggins, was on time. Professional and did extensive work to diagnose what the problem was. Although not able to repair the problem without multiple additional trips and very expensive repair, Erick thoroughly explained everything about what the issues were in a very credible way. Will continue to use this company in the future for any further repairs.

My wife and I were desperate and after a few other appliance repair companies promised they’d be there but never showed up, ACA’s owner was on the phone with me and assured me they would be there the next morning. Not only were they on time...they were early. And Aaron was fast, friendly and efficient. Called Friday afternoon and they responded within 2 hours after the call. Eric was super professional and polite. Diagnosed the problem and clearly explained what the problem was. Had to order the part that only took 2 days. Eric returned on Wed morning first thing to install. Only took 15 minutes to replace the fan. I highly recommend this company for all your appliance repair needs. Great company.

Excellent service and response time. The team that arrived was professional, charming and knowledgeable. It was a very pleasant experience. While the work was good, there was an issue that needed further resolution and these guys were honorable and exceedingly kind about restoring the whole situation. On two separate occasions we had issues with our Electrolux refrigerator/ice maker and both times Atlantic coast appliance quickly responded to phone calls and got our needs scheduled for repair. They also go above and beyond to make sure you’re getting the right service to your broken appliance. We’ve had Tony and Aaron out to service the fridge and even correct an error that resulted in a refund to us due to not needing the product that was originally estimated as the issue. We will 100% be continuing to use their services as needed. They are the best in the area.

Our old washing machine broke, they came out and told us it would cost to much to replace part, we could buy a used one and they could deliver same day, waived service call and charged no delivery fee. We have had washer for several months and had no problems. Great local business and I appreciate of quick they were.

Wow! These guys are outstanding. I have a Maytag front loading washing machine that is 8 mos old and since day one we have had nothing but issues with it. It stops, I get error messages, clothes are soaking wet when the display says “end”. I was constantly babysitting a machine invented to make our lives easier. The thing is under warranty, so a repair technician sent by Maytag comes out to work on the machine. Each time, I am told by this particular technician that I am using too much detergent. We have had lengthy conversations about measuring detergent. To the point where he was just rude and dismissive at his last visit.It was a gigantic waste of time and resolved nothing. He would leave and my machine would still not work. I got all types of error codes. And at each visit I was told, yet again, that I was using too much detergent. Sorry - but it does not take a rocket scientist to measure detergent. I think I got it.I knew there was more to the story so I sought a second opinion. Enter Atlantic Coast Appliance.Aaron arrived promptly and cheerfully began listening to my washing machine woes. He got right to work looking at the machine and within just a few minutes told me that the water lines were hooked up in reverse. HELLO!!! That set my machine up for all kinds of nonsense. No wonder the clothes were not spinning out, cycles would just stop, etc.Five service calls from the “other guys” could not determine this??? That is just pitiful. Wouldn’t you check the basics first??Anyway, I am thankful for Aaron and his knowledge and professionalism. And likely the simplest, yet most impactful, service call of his career. He seriously saved the day AND my sanity. I would recommend them to anyone!!

After receiving a $3600.00 Quote to repair my Sub Zero Wine cooler on March 20th 2020. I called the company and attempted to get a Service call on the Wine cooler today and have the wine cooler picked up for repair. I was told that they could not service me because I had not paid my bill with them in the past. I explained that they must have the incorrect name and address or why was a Service Tech out just (2) months prior and after looking at the cooler sent mean email Quote of $3600.00 pillars ???? There explanation (after I sent them thee mail I received ) was oops it must have been the past owners mistake. They claim to have owned the business for the past (5) years. That would include (2) months ago. Please find another professional appliance repair company to do business with.

Beware! We called in for a repair and attempted to give the lady on the phone the make, model and serial number of the appliance we were needing repaired. She said it was unnecessary and would not take it. We wondered why since we just needed to know if the door (broken glass) could be replaced and the turntable repaired on an older model built in microwave. When the technician arrived this morning within two minutes he said oh the door can’t be replaced or glass on this model every part to it is out of stock and showed me on an app on his phone. He was polite and it certainly was not his fault he was only making a service call as instructed. I wonder how many $89.99 per day they get by not asking appropriate details on the phone? I called the office and spoke with the manager Anna who informed me it is the consumers place to press the issue and request a technician call them back to look up the parts before they arrive but she went on to say they do not like to do this because every component can have a number of different parts. In a situation like ours had they have looked up the serial number waiting in a four hour time span and paying the service call would not of been necessary since every part is unavailable. Beware, when calling this company or any company like this. Press the issue of them looking up the parts and taking the make, model and serial number. In this instance they recorded and reviewed our call on our service request and said that we did not ask enough questions and did not demand a service tech to look the parts up and call us back. I hope that our mishap saves others in the future some headaches.

I explained what the problem was and the repairman arrived with the proper replacement part and promptly repaired our dryer. We were serviced out of the Fernandina Beach shop. Eric was the technician who serviced our GE Dryer and diagnosed the problem within minutes! Once the part was received, a service appointment was made that worked with our busy schedule! He had our GE Dryer up and working within thirty minutes! Atlantic Coast Appliance are very honest, professional, courteous and respectful AND reasonably priced. The experience we have had with them, I would highly recommend them to anyone! Our Atlantic Beach community is very fortunate to have this company so close to home. Thank you for making my day. Great place if you need the right part now. They were very helpful and knew right away what part I needed. Go to them for all your parts because you dont want to be like me and order 3 different dryer belts just to save a couple of dollars. only to have Mt. Clothsmore stacking up because you have to keep waiting days for the right belt to be delivered. They are very knowledgeable and will make sure you are taken care of.

I called four different repair people over the last month, including two very big named ones that advertise on TV all the time, trying to get my washing machine repairs. Three of the four confirmed their appointments the day before they were supposes to show up…but Atlantic Coast Appliance was the only one that actually came. With in 15 minutes he was able to identify the issue and had it resolved in less then an hour. They did a great job, I wish I had tried calling them first….thank you!!!!

Absolutely disgusted with the business!! Waited 3 hours with NO communication from office the tech was running late at all. I had to call them to inform them of No show or call because I needed to pick up my child from school. Mind you they were told what the make and issue was of my dryer. Tech did Not have the part which was a wire he needed to replace part. Was then quoted to come back tomorrow with part which supposively cost $54. With bill totally $196. Called to cancel when I found the part with wire for a small fraction of the cost. Woman called my phone back 4 times telling me they came to my house in good faith..... They inconvenienced me and expect me to pay service charge...... How is this fair business?

DO NOT trust this business!! Called the owner Bill regarding washing machine issue. He informed me what he thought the problem was and quoted me a estimate of 79.00 for the service fee and 175.00 for clutch to be repaired. If repair was completed service fee would be waived. Sending a technician out today. Technician Eric came to the house. Did not even take the machine back off or turn the machine on to make a diagnosis. Just stated it was the clutch and the estimate was 375.00. Called the owner Bill who stated he would personally come to fix it himself and it could guarantee it would not be over 200.00. Got a call 3 hours later that it would be 270.00 to fix that his prices have gone up. Who does business like this? Did I miss the part where they were suppose to diagnosis it to determine the problem. Its like going to the dentist with a tooth ache and never looking inside your mouth. Best part ever Bill wanted his service fee money. What a way to run a business... So I am stuck with a service and still no diagnosis!

Our Washer stopped working Sunday Night, I called Monday Morning and got an appointment the very next day. I work until 3 pm and they worked with my schedule so I didnt have to take off work early. Sean, the repairman, called to confirm the appointment during the day. He arrived precisely at 3:30. He had the problem diagnosed and fixed within minutes. This company is the real deal. Joe and Aaron are as talented as you get and really know Samsung Appliances. After dealing with Lakes Electronics who are rude and ill trained, it was a pleasure to work with a real talented group of people. Samsungs quality is not stellar as most think and you really should not have to put $700.00 in a two year old refrigerator. I will definitely use Atlantic Coast again and will recommend them to our neighbors.

A+++++ I phoned on a Saturday and they came out on Monday. My washer and dryer are stacked (a repair companys nightmare). They repaired what they thought was the leak - left and it was soon leaking again. The owner Bill Gray came out today on Saturday and asked me several questions. Embarrassingly I was using Persil - a high sudsing detergent (unknown to me). He explained how the HE machine works and as it was running without the detergent he used a camera to show me it wasnt leaking because there werent the amount of suds.. I have now done our over 7 loads of laundry - no leaks!!! I cannot say enough about Atlantic Coast Appliance and Bill, Aaron, Anna and the rest of the staff! My husband and I own Country Club Real Estate - and all of our customer will now know to use them too! No more high sudsing soaps!

This review reflects on the owner, Bill. The employees I dealt with were courteous and professional. Bill, on the other hand, is a shady scam artist. He does not know how to own his mistakes and blames others for his shortcomings. He has no respect for your property. He will show up when he pleases and let himself into your property. If you decide to use this business, proceed with caution. When things dont go as promised, you will be blamed and have to find another way to get your appliance(s) working. I will tell anyone who asks for an appliance repair shop recommendation to stay away from this place.

Refrigerator went out due to compress. Charged 79.00 fee and then says if they do the work the fee goes away. Well my compressor is under warranty so I call them and tell them that and he says they dont do warranty work and pockets my 79.00. So now I got a fridge sitting in my living room. Called ACA to come out and take a look at my Samsung range that failed during a self-clean cycle. Keith, the technician, was very professional and knowledgeable. It took him maybe five minutes of troubleshooting and asking questions to determine that a safety fuse had overheated and blown. He replaced the fuse and even went the extra length to ensure that the fuse he was installing was rated correctly for my appliances self-clean temperature as the fuse was technically for another brand of appliance but is still the same electrical component required. He offered to order the official Samsung fuse and come back out to replace it. Very pleased with their service and will call them again for appliance issues.

This place MAY have once had a stellar reputation but my experience with new owner Bill keeps me from ever calling again. Bottom line: I needed a replacement part that retails for $25. I watched the Atlantic Coast tech (Eric) take about 10 minutes to install it. Then, I was told the charges would be about $230…$60 for the $25 part (available on Amazon for $11), the rest for labor.Ultimately, the owner offered to settle by dropping the cost of the part from $60 to $32.25 (full retail + their policy to mark up 25% for making the call to order it—with my credit card) and “only” $129 for the few minutes of labor (Atlantic Coasts’ minimum labor charge)…and if I was going to disclose this experience on YELP or elsewhere, he threatened to call off the whole settlement and told me “Florida courts are very friendly to businesses, you know.”Their website promises 100% satisfaction guaranteed to each customer but Bill says that means only to normal people, which, I suppose, are those who dont stand up to such a blatant ripoff.I won’t even get into the part where I prepaid $29 for a light bulb for my microwave only to be told by the same technician that it would cost an additional $200 or $300 to disassemble the appliance to put it in.Is this the kind of business you want to deal with when your appliance goes on the fritz? Now Bill has my money (so I can avoid wasting time in those Florida courts he insists are so unfriendly to consumers) and you? You have been informed of what you can expect at Atlantic Coast Appliance Repair.
