Basically what everyone else is saying . It was so ghetto, the receiver literally face timed her daughter while I was trying to check in, no acknowledgement or anything. Then I was supposed to pick up at 10am on 8/23 and they rescheduled the appointment but never called me or my company to let me know. I’d avoid this place if u can

Avoid this place if you value your time. 24 hours on site to unload.They changed my delivery appointment 5 minutes before I arrived and refused to unload until the following morning. Refused on site parking despite the delay they caused.Next morning, security refused entry until 5:45 and then admitted a dozen trucks that were behind me leaving me at the end of the line.Zero respect for drivers, incompetent, and slow.

Horrible service. Got to appointment on time. 4 hours to unload. Lumper came and said paperwork is ready, get to shipping/receiving office and having to wait for over an hour while receptionist has a lovely chat with co-worker about her grandkids and home life. Would prefer not to come here again if I can help it. Would rate negative stars if I could.

Got here before my appt,took 5 hours to load, now Ive been sitting here a hour waiting on paperwork because nobody is in the office.workers are very rude as well.

I love to pick up hear. They are so easy to work with but don’t be in a rush. I can go in and drop my trailer and if my load is not ready they will let me bobtail out and take a 10hr brake. They don’t care as long as the delivery is on time. You can go back in and pickup your load anytime your ready 24/7. This is not a place to come to if your in a rush but if your not and could use a brake and have the time, this is a great place to pickup from. Plus the people are great and helpful. No stress hear unless you bring it with you. I love coming hear for loads, it’s like coming home to friends. But one down side is that there is no onsite parking. There is a truck stop 2 miles up the street towards I-20 with a Wendy’s and you can park on there street entrance.

Incompetent. I got loaded wrong had to drive back 475 miles to return product and miss out on another load. The check in process is a joke too.

It depends on which warehouse you are picking up from. Obviously, I’m at the lesser of the 2. Make sure you tell the security guard (who was very polite) which warehouse you are going to. Another driver went to the wrong one, and when they sent him back to the correct one, he was late, and charged a late fee, even though he had proof he was on the property before his appointment time, and the security guard and shipping clerk from the other warehouse corroborated his story. Don’t be in a hurry if you go to the “skygate” property

Everyone knows Atlanta traffic is crazy in the afternoon well going Americold South on 12/18 was no fun appointment was at 6 got there 31mins late it was 2345 when I got out. Going to miss appointment at receiver out of hrs. They need to hire some help

They hold me more than 9 hrs. It sucks the lady at window has really bad attitude towards drivers. She charged me $135 for 18 minutes traffic delay late fee and they hold me more than 9 hrs. Mean while when i asked the lady at window she told me she could cancel this load after holding me this long time.

Apt time 14:00..... checked in 12:00pm checked out by 14:45. Took 30 mins to get paper work only reason for 4 stars. Guards are cool and lady at shipping window was nice.

The most dirtiest, filfthest, unprofessional warehouse and staff workers ever. They damaged my trailer and did not even bother to mention anything until I found it after being unloaded. Avoid this warehouse at all costs. The loaders here suck, they do not care about you or your equipment at all and will damage it.

I have been here a handful of times now....unlike most others I have never had a problem here. People are friendly and never have problem with security or shipping/receiving. They have always gotten me in and out in a timely manner.

I have a 6 oclock appointment and was here 10 minutes early. Its 57 minutes past 6 and im still waiting to check in..shes training someone and i can understand that, but she is also having longer then necessary conversations and taking personal calls. This is a place of business, not someplace you come to hang out with friends

They let me check in 3 hours before delivery appointment, unloaded and out of the gate 45 minutes before delivery appointment. Every one was friendly.

They have different facilities with different check in places. Even though shipping address correct on BOL. Waiting at security gate, check-in and waiting for door take an hour. OMG

Was on the line for check in and the guy in front arrive 1 late and have to pay 100 for late fee, and then they hold you for 6 to get you load it, restroom not in great condition they not even have soap to wash your hand and at the end it just another shipper another load and another mile to get that $$$.

It was a little slow with getting paperwork after I was unloaded but the lady in the office professional and courteous.

Fast unloading my appointment was 2 am and im was out 2:40 am

The old black woman that leaves at 5pm is very rude and unprofessional. I checked in at 1pm she in a very nasty way told me to come back at 5pm then once I walked back in at 5pm she then tells me that she trying to get off and she not checking me in that I just have to wait until 6pm until the next person comes on duty. She was on a personal call from 5pm until 5:27 pm. I don’t think she projects a high standard of professional of a corporation such as Americold.

Second shift is the best.......GREAT JOB LADIES.

Security very friendly, office staff not so much. Had a 5PM appointment, was told to come back at 6 pm. Didnt start unloading until after 11PM, was there until 2AM the next morning

Had appt for delivery, interstate was shut down for hours due to a high speed police chase, resulting in 2 fatalities. Absolutely have no ambition of trying to have a 5 star review, or having pride in work, or above and beyond.

Checked in at 7pm for an 8pm appointment. Got into door at 730pm... Wasnt allowed to open doors until someone came out and gave you the ok to do so..Didnt get backed into the dock until 10p...Loaded at 1030pm... The lady in the guard shack named Probe (I more than likely spelled it wrong), but she was extremely nice.

This is the worst Americold I have ever seen. Be prepared to spent all day. Capstone guys not in hurry.

Great place! Great friendly staff! Had a 10 am app checked in at 3 am, got a door right away, they said will start at 6 am, got 2 fallen pallets 20 boxes with product all over the floor, took all of them without a single word gave me clean bills! Nice folks!

There are two shipping/receiving offices so pay attention to the guard instructions.Easy check in. Easy unloading (roughly 2 hrs). The office clerk was super nice as well as the unloaders . I dont mind these type of deliverys especially when you are treated with respect.

Not a bad americold. Everyone is friendly from the guard shack to the office to the dock workers! Im here on driver appreciate week and they have grab bags with hygiene products also snacks and drinks. I wouldnt mind coming back here again

Sometimes they give you a door quick but they make You wait with the doors closed for 2 hrs before they start loading you. Then they take another hr to get loaded and another 45 min for paperwork.

Had a p/u at 8pm on 5.6.19, at entrance the guard was very nice & directed me to check in at door 29, the lady that checked me in was very nice & friendly, gave me door #17(its directly in front of check out guard shack so I gotta work a bit to get in) I was loaded & checked out within 2 hours. The check out lady was nice & friendly too. Yard dog closed my doors & put on seal. Check out guard was nice & quick. Read reviews b4 coming here (1st time) & glad it was all good. Maybe the drivers that had suck experience maybe u suck & the energy u put out is surely what You get back. Try to be nice & respectful even when others are not & I assure you life will be much better (just saying) 👍🏼

Shipping and reciving please put the exact check in time and when you give the paperwork put out times. You charge drivers for being 30min late $130 and more but you put us on the dock for hours still dont want to put times for confidential or detainsion thats unfair if it wasnt a little money im so upsate that i should sue you for my time and failer to show the exact out clock on my bills. Managment please look into this and fix it if it happen next time ill keep this docs and add the other one and get you court for my losses. And if any driver deals with this please coment on this and ive the best lowyer on the side that loves to sue this huge companies. They are closed for shift change from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Guard people are very nice. Unloading is hit or miss, I guess.

Guards and staff are extremely nice. Appt at 1800 arrived at 1700and had to wait until 1800 to walk up to the receiving office bc of shift change. I got a door immediately and was unloaded with Bills in hand under 1 hour 19 pallets. 6 spots for overnight parking on the yard by the last dock and parking on the small road before the americold entrance.

Got here at 12 pm and left at 8 pm very inconsiderate to the drivers that make money by driving if we don’t drive we don’t make money the loader came out and asked when was my appointment does it matter I’m in the door do your job. I got my trailer washed prior to this load and he left so much wood because obviously he isn’t good with a forklift then he didn’t put my 3 load bars back I was in door 15 I’ll never take another load to this company ever another thing why doesn’t the main entrance say truck entrance we end up going down the road where it’s hard to turn around maybe if the workers stop standing outside smoking or sitting on the bench the work will get done a bunch of lazy workers

They unload based on need so, if you have something important they want, it could be quick. Otherwise you could end up like my guy and show up 2hrs early for your 2pm appt and then get out at 8pm and miss your next load. He had 8 pallets. Sucks it takes an hour for each pallet. Im assuming they hired special needs teens so maybe I shouldnt be so angry.

The second star is ONLY because they did unload me fairly quick. But the bomb cratered road into the area, the convoluted route into the facility (complete with speed bumps), the horribly could care less woman at the shipping/receiving window, and what is apparently a prehistoric paperwork system all sink this place to the bottom. Shipping woman doesnt even make eye contact, no Ill be with you shortly, nothing. She will scoot her wheeled office chair 15 across the office rather than actually get up. And chit-chats with other staff while us drivers stand in line. I take it back, its 1.5 stars.

Top notch place was in at my appointment time and I asked the nice guy who was about to unload me if he would be done in 2 hours he said Ill get you done in 30 mins and he was right and I appreciate the hell out of that guy for doing that so I could get back to Florida to see my kids

Best Americold facility that I have visited. I had a 1400 appointment and I checked in at 0600. There is on street overnight parking. Out at 0757. Very friendly staff.

Security isnt sure where to send drivers so sometimes you get sent to the wrong door to check in and some staff members arent the friendliest of people

Worst place to load EVER!!!! We have several trucks and we are based out of Atlanta area. Had to deal with them multiple time and every time we had issues. Loading or unloading. One time we had to pick up one pallet and they held our truck there for 7 hours. The longest time they held one of our trucks to get loaded was 26 HOURS!!!!!! Rude staff too. We REFUSE to work with this place. PERIOD. I do no care how much the load is paid.
