All I can say is WOW! I have been wearing my hair bald for a few years but never was really satisfied. I had my treatment done by the owner Justin in April and a follow-up yesterday. I first heard of JP Scalpworx through a google search of SMP in ATL. I literally went down contacting the locations as they were listed, and NO ONE called back. I contacted JP Scalpworx and Justin answered immediately, he was very informative and able to quickly get me in for a consultation. The building was very clean and professional and in a good location. During the consultation, he was able to answer all the questions I had and assured me I was a good candidate for the procedure. Soon after I had my first appointment, the experience was fantastic, it was a chill environment. I was able to get the entire area done in one sitting. I was offered a numbing cream for any discomfort, but I was able to do without. A month later you go back for your touch up appointment. I honestly didn’t need it because he did a thorough job and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I definitely recommend for anyone who is thinking about SMP and I highly recommend JP Scalpworx.

As many of us age and reach our 40s you start to lose your hair. My problem areas were primarily the crown of my head and the area coming towards my hairline was not as thick as it use to be. I was still somewhat skeptical because I felt like many of these hair procedures dont work well for Black Men but Justin proved me wrong. After he finished the 1st session I could see a difference; however, Justin informed me to come back after a while to get a touch-up. After the 2nd visit I could not believe the transformation. I was thoroughly pleased and I can see that this process does indeed work for Black Men. Another great feature to the service is a free touch up within a year. This is a great feature because just like a tattoo, a touch up can enhance the foundation already done. When it was time for my touch up Justin informed me that due to scheduling his partner Justin Sardine could provide the service. I was a little worried because I did not know the quality of the work of Justin 2.0. When I arrived Justin 2.0 was professional and very knowledgeable as well. During the process he was very detailed and patient as he paused at moments to get my feedback so that the end result would be a collaborative success. Once Justin 2.0 was finished I was in complete AMAZEMENT! This touch-up enhanced the look I already had even more. The finished product looked so good I actually stayed at the office about an extra 30 minutes just shocked that my once thinning head of hair looked so good. I had a lot of worry that it would be too dark and fake looking. It came out better than I expected. Justin explained that it will lighten up once it’s healed. I did have him go too light but he was accommodating and darkened it for me on my follow up visit. He also kept me updated and kept showing me progress to and asked for my feedback. I’m happy to choose someone who was easy to talk to and patiently addressed all my concerns. I really liked how he faded down my sides and didn’t go too far down.

Amazing. Justin welcomed myself and my son in his office in such high spirts. Explained the entire procedure to make sure we understood. My son (7yr) has a small amount of alopecia to the side of his head. Where he would get teased at school. Justin examined his situation and took care of everything. I cannot express how joyed we were with the results. If my son ever has too come in for a touch up. I know he is in outstanding hands.

I had my procedure done somewhere else before I came to see Justin. I had 1 session remaining and I was frustrated with the results. Each application almost completely faded within days after each session, not only that but I had to pay every time I got a session. I decided to do a little more research and found Justin who does his procedures to full density during your first appointment and charges a flat fee which actually turns out to be very reasonable given that all my sessions were adding up. My family was totally shocked when they saw me, and they didn’t understand why I didn’t go see Justin from the beginning. I highly recommend you go for the one session with Justin. We are supposed to do quick follow up in 4 weeks.

Let me preface this by saying that I flew to Georgia from Taiwan, which is 16 hours of flight time, to get this procedure done. Also, it was Super Bowl weekend in Atlanta. Can you tell that balding was making me self-conscious yet?I had a unique problem in the way that I had enough hair (Norwood 6) that a transplant wouldn’t be the best choice. My hair was too close, so a transplant could harm the existing hair follicles. I didn’t really have a problem with shaving, but it looked ugly because my skin would break out.I looked at all of the options available to me; FUT, FUE, hair transplant, laser removal, multi-session SMP and single-session SMP —- I even looked at the cost of getting the the SMP removed if I hated the results. Luckily, I won’t have to worry about that.I found Justin online and annoyed him to death with questions. Justin made the whole process easy. He took the time to make sure everything looked as great as possible. He’s just an all-around, good dude that’s passionate about doing his job. There’s no agenda with him, and if you’re happy with being bald/balding, I’m sure he’d just tell you to stick with it. I guess it just bothers some of us more than others, so if you’re in that boat with me, I consider this as the best option.I’m posting some pictures here, but I’m sure you can find the others on his Facebook.Nobody can tell I’ve had it done, unless I mention it, of course. I’ll end with the only caveat it can be a bit uncomfortable having needles pinned into your head, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Justin is an artist very aware of his work, is very professional and detail, this procedure is the best decision I could make, it is almost not painful but there are options if you want to sleep in the area, listen to what the client wants and then gives your opinion on the best option, the place is clean, has well advanced instruments and the work area is very comfortable, offers entertainment, snacks and drinks during the procedure, good indoor parking with easy access and the cost is very reasonable compared to other procedures in the market and the results are immediately seen ..
