I did a walk-in with a couple of my friends. This was my first time doing CrossFit so i didnt know what to expect. I did have a great workout though. Everyone there was encouraging and the owner, Michael, was very helpful with his guidance on the exercises. What a great community.
I’m so happy I joined CFM a few months ago. All of the coaches are super knowledgeable and great at scaling the workouts for all experience levels. Highly recommend doing the foundations course with Mike if you’re new to CF and want to set yourself up for success in group classes!
CFM is for everyone and I have experienced some of the best customer service of my life from these guys! They offer so much more than just a place to work out. In the beginning, my biggest concern with lifting was form because I have three small curvatures (scoliosis) in my spine. I told the coaches from Day 1 and they have been extremely cautious in observing my form during workouts to make sure that I am performing the movement appropriately (which they do for everyone). I have been going to CFM since August and have yet to cause harmful damage to my back due to the wonderful service provided here. I recommend this place to anyone! They even have an awesome intro course that helps you ease into the general classes. :)
Dropped in while staying in Atlanta for the week. If you think you are going to do multiple workouts then I would get the 3,5 or 10 class punch card - you can even use the pinch cards for the open gym sessions. The workouts are good and seem to be programmed by a sane person.
Ive been going for about 2 months now and Im loving this fitness journey. The foundations course was awesome! It took me through the different movements and workout styles and I felt totally ready when I joined my first class. CrossFit isnt cheap but feel like I get great value for my dues.

Hands down the best fitness experience in Atlanta! This gym has a best in class coaching staff that truly cares about making a lasting impact on both your physical and mental health. Whether you’re traveling through the area or moving into Midtown Atlanta I would 100% recommend stopping by and joining in on the fun!
Excellent coaching, dynamic programming, vibrant and warm community. Emphasis from the gestalt of fitness to the individual factors: nutrition, mobility, form, function. Try a WOD, Yoga, Barbell, or just come to open gym and do your own thing! Love this place.
Small box with big presence! The coaches are great. Sunday open gym is a great opportunity to get 2 hours of work in with some of the best people in midtown.
Though the coaching is great, I think the most standout aspect of this gym is how welcoming everyone is, both coaches and members. Also, you can take yoga classes as part of your membership! Very cool!
The coaches here are awesome. Especially the Sunday coach. Come to open gym and get your heavy lifts on or come to a class and enjoy the lifting and metcons. Good community and great people. Drop in and see.
Best place to train with friendly, helpful staff and coaches. Ive taken cross fit classes in 4 different states at many different gyms, and this place offered the most enjoyable experience.
I was traveling and did a drop-in at CrossFit Midtown. The community was fantastic, and Coach Pietsch had some nice insight that really improved my technique on the dead lift. Next time Im back in Atlanta, Ill definitely drop-in again!

I moved to Atlanta a few months ago and did a lot of due diligence to find the Crossfit box that had the right combination of community, programming and coaching. CFM has been an awesome experience. My physical performance has never been better and the people are great. It’s been key in finding a dynamic group of friends that are both a motivation and fun to hang out with. Can’t rate higher than I do!

Crossfit Midtown is awesome! The coaches are very engaged and the programming is tough, yet balanced, all while keeping it fun and enjoyable. The leadership here goes way above and beyond to engender a spirit of family among their members with extra-curricular group events regularly. They genuinely care about people’s health and well-being with their many diet and exercise challenges. CFM is a true gem here in the heart of Atlanta!
I’ve been a member at a few boxes before and none had a community quite like CFM does. Going to workout at the gym is a highlight of my day because of the exceptional, personalized coaching and familiar, supportive members. Ive been a member at CFM for 5 years, and I cant say enough complimentary things about this place. In my opinion, the coaching is unrivaled (Ive dropped in many places while traveling), and much of that is due to the diligence of hiring and training knowledgeable, committed people. Ive always appreciated the focus on the fundamentals and gaining strength through programmed progressions before moving on to higher weights or more difficult skills. The CFM community is wonderful, too; people become fast friends because of the regular social events, supplemented by frequent partner workouts and the occasional need to share equipment in our small space. If youre on the fence about trying CrossFit, CFM is a GREAT place to join and learn. :)

What I find interesting about this gym is that the trainers are motivating, knowledgeable and positive. There are also enough training facilities!!!!

Words can’t describe how much I LOVE this place. it’s like a little piece of heaven on earth if heaven on earth is sweaty and is filled with barbells and strong awesome amazing people.this place houses some of the most amazing, thoughtful, & energetic human beings that I’ve ever met. I can’t say enough about the wonderful coaching staff here at CFM. I’ve had the pleasure to work with each of them, some even one on one. they all have their different ways of coaching and of course different techniques which is great, bc you get a little bit of everything . i’ve made some amazing friendships here, and without the coaches & members....I wouldn’t be able to do the things that I can do today, and feel proud & amazing about myself! Drop in to CFM July 2018. Very pleased. Michael is kind and welcoming. Pietsch (peach) coached, did very well, and is super friendly. Good attention to members’ needs and technique at all levels. Great training segment and warmups. Gym is well supplied, organized and clean. AC and multiple fans help with the heat, but you’re going to sweat...at least you need to, hustle.All this is great, what every box strives for as a good business, but what happened toward the end of my workout floored me. It wasn’t the WOD, although tough and I was last...but I’m actually glad I was. I experienced something I have only heard about, after four years of WODs and nearly two dozen boxes around the country where I’ve traveled. I’ve heard it used to happen every WOD. It made CF unique in the fitness community. My understanding is it literally cemented box’s members in solidarity and lifelong friendships and pushing themselves to their ultimate fitness goals.I was cheered on. Most hadn’t put up their boxes and dumbbells. They were gathered around those left and then finally me, and were giving their time to help us, and me, finish. If you want a gym of caring coaches and members, this might be the one for you, at whatever level you may be.Extraordinary. Trust me, just go and try.
Crossfit Midtown has a lot of energy and a lot of knowledge. All the equipment is brand new, and the programming is really great.
