I love the job. The hours and pay are good. Even though the pay goes down in January, you get raise every couple of months. Training and management could be better. Orientation was horrible. I feel if they change management it’ll be better. Yes you only get two 20 mins break but the work is not hard. People just lazy. You work 4 days a week, 10 hrs a day, and off on weekends. Unless you choose weekend shift then you working 12hrs 3 days a week.The work is not hard. Not sure why it’s a lot of bad review. Yes they strict. It’s a good company my opinion. I would chose this job over any other company. Especially post office. The people complaining wouldn’t make it 2 days there. At the post office you get no breaks until the work is finish. They work 6days 12hrs shift.

My daughter went to the hiring event. This couldve been handled better. Showing up to have the employees give you a sheet of paper with application instructions. This couldve been given on their website. Everything is to be done online. Not sure why they had everyone showing up at the same time. People upset because they thought they were coming to get hired on the spot. You drive up to a canopy where an employee hands you a sheet of paper with application instructions. Post that information online!!! Folks caught the bus just to be given a piece of paper and sent on their way. Walmart need to do better!!!

Most definitely a slave ship. The pay is good, but it’s not worth all what it comes with. Almost everyone in management is white, no one of color is in management honestly. They don’t care about your well-being. You can get written up for anything.

THINK BEFORE WORKING HERE !!!The pay is a little over $20 an hour but it’s going to go back down to $17 or lower! I’ve worked for both Amazon & Walmart & the positions are pretty much identical the warehouses are very much alike and I can’t even believe I’m saying this but I rather work at Amazon! Walmart makes you work 12 hour shifts they only give you two 20 minute breaks…. How can you work someone for 12 freaking hours & give them a total Of 40 minutes for resting time? And the breaks are not even 20 whole minutes because they don’t want you to stop scanning until the time your suppose to go on break hits! The warehouse is big & you have to walk everywhere by the time you get to the break room 5-7 minutes have already pasted by Your not aloud to go to your car until the shift is over and then they force you to work extra days! If they could work people 7 days a week they would! They’re turnover rate is extremely high and from my review you can guess why I wouldn’t work for them again even if it was the last job left hiring !

The pay is good for now with the premium added, but it is too strict for me. You can get a point just for breathing wrong. During orientation I felt like I was in jail. No phones, cant go back to your car, and couldnt keep up with time.

Been trying to get in contact with someone about my job offer and I sent emails to HR department no reply even left many voicemails no answer ! Weeks still no answer

Orientation was a complete disaster. No training was done and we sat around for hours waiting to be told what was next. I haven’t received a #WIN number or User ID to login to the work stations. Systems told me on Tuesday that they don’t know when they will have my User ID or #WIN number and that I have to come back for my shift to figure out what to do. This isn’t something I expected from a Walmart and I don’t know what do because I don’t know how they will pay me if im technically not in the system.

Delivered load for Smith and lady inside shipping never gave me a long form to sign.Her name was not Susan either.Did get load dropped and got empty back to yard. Best part of my day.I had been delivering computers at schools nearby.Also have delivered to Dist centers in Co. WI. Pa.Ga.Tn.

Walmart is running a sweat shop here. These employees get two 20 minute breaks no lunch break. I feel like the law is being broken. there are no standing mats to assist with back pain, leg pain floor is 100% concrete. As women that takes a big heth total on our bodies. You cant wear Crocs or anything similar to a fitbit, (no way to keep up with time all clocks say something different), no cell phones. Theres a strange point system they use you can be wrote up it seems by anyone. Even for petty things, no water bottles like Nestle, etc. You must bring your own water container. Lunch could get eaten by anyone, there a huge refrigerator area, their not responsible smdh. Sign all around about hydration, and dehydration sugns about the color of your pee and what it means. Must have a lock, sercurity is petty and fat and lazy. Its a bunch of young adults getting maybe $17-$20 hr and not knowing their rights work like this. No candy on the floor if you dont have a water bottle you have to wait until break. Police cars sit outside warehouse. Once youre in youre in you cant go outside or leave the building.

Why hire or advertise your hiring....YET you dont trust the ppl you are hiring soooo as a company you enact POLICIES that DAM near cross a persons personal space and rights.

My brother worked here and they fired him bc he bought pistachios and couldn’t finish them so he decided to save them and put them in his pocket he was eating them later on and they said he stole them bc he couldn’t produce a receipt which he had already thrown away. I ordered some basic hygiene products that was shipped to me from Atlanta,Ga and instead of shipping my products they sont me a brand new Ipad tablet that costed hundreds of dollars.

Easy job with great schedule! Short breaks with strict rules and mandatory overtime. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes because the shifts are 10 or 12 hours. The pay is decent $15 biweekly and also the benefits are great. Overall in my opinion a decent place to make a living.

They really do not value their employees. I thought amazon was bad lmfao. The pay rates are decent but really for the amount of restrictions and the lack of reasonable breaks, its completely unfair. Especially to the 12hr employees. Two twenty minute breaks is absolutely ridiculous and you cant even have free coffee? I worked at amazon for a little more than a year, i couldnt stand the first day here.

If Im scheduled for a drop at 9a.m., shouldnt one of my trailers have been emptied before I got here? Thats how its supposed to work; I drop, I hook. So I drop my trailer where the guard told me to and didnt find an empty for my company. I tell my DM and he tells me they have to live unload me. I asked the woman in the office and she said that if Im scheduled for a drop, they wont be able to live unload. So I have to wait on my CSR to get them to live unload me. Clock is ticking as always. Get the scheduling right people! If Im dropping a trailer, there should be an empty ready for me when I get here.

As a recent 2year employee this place was horrible to work at. The pay makes you stay, due to the fact that you have a family to care for. Walmart logistics 8240 has a very high turn over rate. The hr team down to the management is very unprofessional. At this job your treated as if your in a prison. This location changes rules every two days and created a point system to fire their staff. There system fails almost every three days the facility is very dirty. If you have any issue with hr, management, or an employee it is not confidential. Very disappointing I stayed here for so long. This place doesn’t follow policy at all.

Worked there for more than two years and at first it was a great place to work. Slowly it started to change for the worse. Ive seen some of their best workers get fired over bogus reasons. You pretty much walk on eggshells because you dont know if thatll be your last day working there. Not saying not to work there, pays good but dont get comfortable.

Dont work here if your looking for long-term work. They kick people out as soon as you walk through the door. They dont care about your personal issues outside of work and if you dont hit your numbers you gone. Youve been warned.

Not good. Do yourself a favor and find another job as soon as you start. And remember all skin folk aint kin folk. Straight up. Trust no one. Do your job, nothing more unless youre getting paid more and leave with a cool head. Too many ppl have no lives (and Wal-Mart wont let you) and feed on drama. Horrible place to work, management does not care about employees, they try to get you in trouble for everything even if you’re a great worker. The T3s in orientation are FAKE and will try to get you written up, so never get comfortable around them. Management seems to only work within each other and not with the employees they supervise. AP are fake cops especially the racist white guy with the beard, he’s very rude and will try to provoke you in a manner to get you written up or fired. Environment is more of a high school/ prison, with all the young employees and police around. Wouldn’t advise any PROFESSIONAL people to work here.

Love this place, but I had to leave for emergency purpose. Hopefully they let me come back for peak season next year

I’ve had warehouse jobs that pay less and treat their employees with way more respect than this place and don’t have an excessive amount of irrational rules which change every damn day. They give us the opportunity to make statements on things we think need to be changed or happen and they constantly ignore them or do the total opposite of what we asked for.. like what is the point?!? I don’t even buy my groceries from Walmart anymore by the way they treat employees smh.

I delivered there easy to find its actually of derrick industrial blvd. It does show that road on GPS. Take 285 to Ga 14 stay toward s. Futon. Soon as you pass stonewall tell road next light make a right youll see wal mart on hill.

Never received my package that was being shipped from this location, fedex said they never received it and it took me 2 days and 8 customer service reps to get a refund for something that was due to their incompetence at this warehouse

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! When you apply, you dont expect to experience so much mental and physical exhaustion. This is by far the worst facility Ive ever worked in. The Company Doesnt value their employees, they change the rules and policies everyday, and they work you like a slave. Restocking is by far the worst department to work in. The module is 92 aisles of pure hell that hasnt been cleaned in Lord knows when, full of dust and boxes piled on top of each other. You are constantly walking and searching for space to put boxes away. Its suffocation being in that box, which is what I refer to it as. The only good thing I can say about this place is the schedule, but YOU WILL PAY for the days that you are scheduled to work. I wouldnt recommend anyone working here, especially if you have a free spirit and you dont like to be controlled by the masses a.k.a. wanna be masters.
