They are absolutely amazing! They did my wedding dress alterations and were so amazing through the whole process. My dress is perfect and the price was reasonable for the amount of work they did. Can’t rave enough about this business!!

Holly was recommended to me to do my wedding dress alterations and what she did was absolutely incredible!! She helped me transform my dress to really feel like it was mine. She was always one step ahead of me and knew what I needed before I even realized it. She was so patient with me and made me feel comfortable to be honest with what I wanted without feeling bad for it. Buckhead Alterations was one of three alterations specialist recommended to me for my wedding dress alterations; they were closer to home so I went with them. Buckhead Alterations were able to make many of the necessary alterations in just a few days.Yet when it came down to the final two alterations instead of offering to make the corrections, I received an argumentative response and was told that I’m probably just stressed. I decided it was best to simply take my dress elsewhere to have the remaining alterations completed. To be unsatisfied after spending so much time and money is upsetting but the argumentative and dismissive response is truly disappointing.

They are amazing at what they do and I will never go to another seamstress. They have made miracles happen for me in small turn around periods. Their prices are definitely justified.

The bad reviews on this family owned business are simply ridiculous. I guess everyone is a critic?Hopefully you can see past a few silly reviews and know that these people do a very good job.I use Buckhead Alterations for most of my clothing. I am a very particular person and require quite a bit of altering to my garments to make them fit right.Holly and team have always been very accommodating and they make me feel like family. They even made me a sandwich (no kidding) one day when I was in a rush and needed to go grab lunch.I’m sure my anecdotal account is out of the ordinary but this review comes after about a year of actually using their services.We have had some mistakes here, it happens they’re human and doing things by hand is difficult especially on the clothing I bring to them. However they have gone above and beyond to make sure it was fixed, you can really count on these folks to welcome you with open arms and do everything necessary to help you.

I went to Buckhead Alterations this afternoon and I took four T-shirts to shorten the length a bit.This is the first time I need this kind of service. I got there, I put on a t-shirt to show the length to be removed.An old man then told me it would cost $22 per t-shirt.As I have no idea how much it costs in general. Each whole t-shirt costed me less than $ 10, so I said I expected a slightly cheaper service.He then asked: - How much do you expect to spend? $5?- I have no idea, something around $ 5. Then he said, with a completely unnecessary arrogance:- $ 5 dollars you pay in China. This is America!I am not required to know the prices. And I dont refuse to pay me the correct amount of money for a well done job. But he could explain the costs, or tell me that it was his price, maybe talk about the quality of the service, anything.Nothing can justify such arrogance and conceit.I usually go to parties, events and constantly need to make alterations in my suits, shirts, pants, or my wifes dresses.But after that, Buckhead Alterations would be the last place in the world I would take my clothes to be adjusted.

My fiancée took her wedding dress here for some simple alterations. When she tried it on after the alterations, the stomach pooched and a mysterious seam showed up over the left breast. We ended up taking the dress to a tailor in Illinois, who was appalled by the quality of workmanship.Im only one data point, but my advice would be to look elsewhere! Buckhead Alterations has caused us massive stress before our wedding.

Buckhead Alterations is a great place to have alterations of any sort done. They are professional, friendly, and the price is fair. I hate that other reviewers have had bad experiences but, I have had everything from a couture wedding gown to a leather jacket altered there with nothing but great things to say. I learned about them from a designer friend of mine who says that he will go NO WHERE else in all of Atlanta when he is in from New York.
