The chimney on our house was leaning onto our roof. I had already had another company straighten the chimney with supports external to the chimney chase. I asked chimney solutions to give me an estimate regarding supporting the chimney via angle irons internal to the chimney chase (which their website states is how they support chimneys such as mine) as an added measure of support. Despite being able to describe the situation in detail, I still had to pay $200 for someone to come to my house. Chip Carruth showed up. After his visit he sent me a quote for straightening and bracing the chimney, changing the chase cover, and applying a flash seal to my flashing. I had just had the flashing redone after having my chimney straightened and was in the process of pricing chase cover replacements so I asked Chip how much to just install the braces. It was at that point that I stopped getting any response. Despite multiple calls and emails, I was simply ignored. Very disrespectful. $200 wasted. I would avoid this company at all costs.

We contacted Chimney Solutions in November to have a chimney cap fabricated for our home. Our chimney shape is rectangle, and the corners were not exactly 90-degree angles, so we had to find the right company to fabricate an irregular-size chimney cap. The rep was on-time for the consultation appointment, and very professional. He gave us a written estimate the same day--complete with several pics, and we felt the dollar amount and the fabrication time frame they quoted were very reasonable. They contacted us in exactly six weeks to make an appointment for installation. They again arrived on time, got the job done quickly and professionally, and were done in about 45 minutes. It looks great, and our roof leaks have stopped completely! We would highly recommend them for chimney cap fabrication and installation!

The purpose of my review is not to comment on the services provided by this company, but rather to help others save their time in their search for fireplace inserts/installation. For all I know, this company performs amazing installs with quality brands. However, if you are in the market for fireplace inserts, this company does not have a sales team or product specialists to answer questions about the brands/units they would install. Rather, they must first visit your home and perform an inspection in order to offer a price quote. This costs $199. I write this review because if you (like me) are hoping to compare companies, units, specs, and services, before spending $5,000-$7,000, this company cannot oblige without coming to your home and first collecting the $199. I was surprised that they could not tell me, over the phone, which brands they carry, for example. Im sure they are great people, but if you are looking to save time, be advised.

I called Chimney solutions to get pricing for my new home. After Kayla out of the Atlanta branch went through her sales pitch I asked if there were any hidden fees once the technician shows up at house. After trying to dig to find out if there were any hidden fees she reluctantly said if they have to deep clean the chimney there was a surcharge. I told her thats why I called was for a deep clean and would it be more? She abruptly said we werent a good fit for their company??? Terrible customer service and highly unprofessional. Its disappointing how people act when they have too much business. Just because of that Ill never use them

Excellent all around. Gave estimate and when the install deviated from their measurements, they handled it for the quoted price. Small issue with mistake on the blower install, but senior techs came by to check and fix it. Great folks and service.

Chimney Solutions did a first class job getting our gas logs for our fireplace installed and working perfectly. Not only does it work well, it looks spectacular as special attention was taken to make it look realistic. We are very pleased with Chip who listened carefully to our needs and installed our logs exactly according to our needs and in a very timely manner. He was careful to make sure his work was done neatly and cleaned up after he was done. He was also very pleasant the entire time. We could not be happier with the end product.

I learned that my brick chimney was leaning inward so I solicited a few quotes on the repair. One firm that I had used for chimney sweeping in the past provided a very expensive quote. When I contacted Chimney Solutions for a quote they explained they had a very different method for doing this repair. Instead of tearing down the complete chimney, they used hydraulic pressure to straighten it out and then used steel beam supports on the inside to provide the structural integrity. The cost was about 70% of my first quote and they did a fantastic job. One problem did arise with an interior wall seam, but they got someone on it immediately and fixed the problem. The quality of the repair and the professionalism of the crew was tremendous. I highly recommend them.

Called 11/12/18 and asked about repair for a chimney that has been sealed off. Was told by the receptionist that since they are “so busy” This time of year they will not repair and only Cleaning Service. Then she proceeded to tell me that they can clean, service and inspect my chimney for $325. I’ve then asked if they can clean the chimney that’s been sealed off ? and her reply was “No”.So I reiterate it for clarification. That they would come to my house look at my chimney confirm it is sealed off, not clean it and not fix it for $325 To which she replied “yes “While other customers say they do great work, I cannot confirm or deny this. I can say though from calling six other companies all with equal or better reviews. That it seems like the average inspection price is around $95 That is deductible if work is done .Just be sure to shop around

Working with Chimney Solutions was great from scheduling the appointment to the actual service call and thereafter. I recently purchased a home with a gas fireplace and had no idea how to use it, in fact I was a little intimidated by it. When I called to schedule an appointment for service the representative was so nice and helpful and understood my concerns.Chip Carruth serviced my fireplace giving me a thorough lesson on the parts of the fireplace, how to use it, all the do’s and dont’s. He inspected and cleaned my fireplace and was patient with me as he answered all my questions. By the end of the visit, I was confident and looking forward to using my fireplace.
