My friends and I came to stay at a No Hotel in Buckhead, GA and the garage we were instructed to park in was an absolute nightmare. We arrived after a 3.5 hour drive and we’re desperate to use the restroom. We were inside for less than 10 minutes to use the restroom and then come back down to unload our bags. When we got back to the car, the were two boots on both drivers side wheels and an orange tag stuck to the drivers window. We were stuck waiting for an attendant for an hour. The fee was paid to remove the boot, but the lack of communication, and policy to boot our vehicle in less than 10 minutes of our arrival is a spectacular disappointment. As a person who lives in a tourist/retail city similar to Buckhead with a plethora of parking services, but this is by far the worst experience I have encountered. This experience has been so negative, that I will never darken the doors of a “No Hotel” managed property again.
This company but a boot on my car even though I have a parking permit to park at the residence in which I live at. After calling and waiting for over five hours before a guys came out. (Had to call off from work). The guy “spoke” with his supervisor who said I had pay for the removal and then disputed it and get a refund. Now it’s going on two weeks of multiple phone calls and dispute emails and still not even a response from this company. I feel that this business operates like a scam artist !!!
I parked my car in an area and paid the parking fee. My mistake which I found out later was not selecting the correct parking area. When I returned to my vehicle it was immobilized/booted. There was a number and sticker on the widow which I called. Empires representative and very rude and disrespectful individual yelled that it did not matter that you have a receipt you made a mistake and THATS YOUR PROBLEM!!!!!!! AND THAT THEY WOULD HOLD THE CAR UNTILL I PAYED THE $75.00 RANSOME. I paid i had no choice. Since I have made 10 phone calls to report the incident and no one will return my call. Empire Parking Service appears to be a company with no management or leadership that has be come a parsite to its communities and patrons.
This is definitely a scam, unethical company. Dont you ever park your car at Shop around Lenox (you can easily see Cracker and Barrel in that shopping center and the shopping center across Neiman Marcus store). They put up a few signs that say Reserved for Shop Around Lenox Customers in a few parking spots similar to Handicapped parking spots. The wording on the signs make you think that it is OK to park at no-sign parking spots. They should word that the entire parking are reserved for Shop Around Lenox customers. They arrange a bunch of guys hiding in their own cars to spy on people. The seconds you left the parking their army will boot your cars that you have to pay $75 to remove the boots. This is cheating. Their people dont even warn you not to park at any spots in that shopping center. They dont have any name Empire Parking Services or logo on their signs. I was cheated and very frustrated. These activities should not be observed here in Atlanta. This is USA not third world countries. Listen to the old saying: fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I will stay away from that Shop Around Lenox shopping center since these shopping stores and restaurants are promoting these scamming activities. Empire Parking Services should deserve no star.
Basically a predatory company. I cant wait for the crackdown coming to them. My vehicle was booted in my complex.....in my PAID FOR reserved space. Phone number on the sticker left on my car was disconnected, and there was NO indication of the company name. I had to check with neighbors who it was, and who to call. Finally get through to someone, and went around in circles. 2-3 hours later I was able to get someone out that basically forces you to pay $75 a day or they leave the boot on. I paid it, and my complex reimbursed me. I have since got a removal tool and if this ever happens again I will remove it and leave it next to the car. If they would like to come to me for damages, I will gladly take them to court and see how far they get. I ended up even having to call the police to come out and filed a report. They informed me numerous people in my complex had called them that morning about the same thing.
Such a racket. Waited 2 hours and the tech wouldnt remove the boot. He ignored that we had a permit and the permission of the management company, said he needed an email verification. He left, rather than waiting 3 minutes for the manager to come down. Currently awaiting their return. What a joke.Currently waiting for his return....
Empire is known for corrupt behavior - years ago, i had one of their representatives pocket my cash pay and booted me... but i took pictures of me dropping the money. Police were involved. Now, I’m at the LINC in Brookhaven. I just signed with them 3 weeks ago. I was told “open parking, except for the spots with a “Reserved Parking” sign. Makes sense.I’m parked where there isn’t a sign; the spot next to me does have one. I come out, where I live, to boots illegally on my car.I’ve been waiting 30 MINUTES and nobody has arrived.I have photos, a video, and my LEASING CONTRACT pulled up. If anyone wants to see how corrupt this company is and how moronically incompetent the employees are, I’m happy to send over.
This company in Atlanta - specifically the operations out of Glenridge point are completely set up to trap customers. This parking lot is shared by commercial space and there are no signs that show where the commercial and private property are split. I parked in this lot for 5 minutes and in that time, the technician #1139 booted me and was just sitting in this lot waiting for people to fall into this fraudulent trap. The only sign that was displayed was very small at the entrance and no other information is posted. As you can see by the photographs included - this company is purposely using low levels of signage to catch people who are unaware and trying to access the retail space.
I curious to know how they stay in business, because I got booted payed it then I just disputed the charge and I even disputed the $1.05 charge as well that was the “convenience” fee. But I’ve done this multiple times with this company and the only thing I’ve had to do was get a new debit card 🥴 maybe that’s the big inconvenience for me but who knows. 😉
Worst service ever. They cannot tell eta for when technicians will come and take off the clamps. You need to be sitting in the car for all day long to wait for when they please to come over. This is after paying the fee. And their phone service is extremely rude and incompetent. Totally unprofessional.
Have booted my car twice illegally. Police have had to be involved to remove both times. Never hire this company for your business.
When dealing with this company, just save your time and get the police involved. They will not respond to calls or emails to correct their mistakes.
Disgusting company. They found a sign & threw it in front of my car to be able to boot my car. When i called to ask to remove the charge, a nasty guy was very rude about the situation. Hope he loses his $7.25 an hour job cause he doesn’t even deserve that.
Booted my truck even though i had the reciept in it
Sat in my car for 3 hours waiting for them to remove a boot!
This company is a SCAM! How are they in service? Shame on them for taking advantage of people like this.
They charge a $75 fee to get boots robed off if your vehicle that was.parked in a lot not marked private.
After waiting for weeks until I got a call from them. They told me they could not overlook that the dmv did not sent me my tag on time. I had everything in order but my tag did not arrive until I went to the actual dmv office to pick it up. My record shows a valid tag since last year but even though I showed the tag active on the dmv website they still put a boot on my car. I spoke to David(dispute director ) and he did not even wanted to say his last name. Really unprofessional service
I honestly hate this company. They booted my car in a spot reserved for compact cars and said the spot is “reserved” for a business. Even though there is no signage about this claim. I was required to pay to have the boot removed and the person that removed it agreed that he was unsure why I was booted. STILL after tons and tons of calls and emails yo this company they WILL NOT respond and will not issue a refund even though it was a mistake by their tech. I really wish someone would sue them. They are an evil and corrupt company literally stealing money. I honestly wish the worst on ever person who works for this disgusting “business”.
After having my wife’s car authorized they still booted it and made my wife and 1 year old wait for over 30min to unbolt her car to leave.
I am a resident at an apartment complex in Buckhead, and my car had broken down due to an engine problem at my own complex. Technician #108 had booted my car while I was in the process of scheduling my mechanic to come to the premise and fix the vehicle. Anyway, I called the phone number on the sticker, and I asked to speak to management so I can disclose my situation. They told me they were going to transfer me and put me on hold, and I waited on hold for 20 minutes before someone finally hung up. So I called again, and to my pleasant surprise no one picked up.In the next week or so, I had maybe called at least 12 times and was given this same run around. Still unable to get into contact with someone, the technician who finally picks up tells me that they were going to charge me $75 per day. I was furious as I kept trying to get into contact with someone in charge, they were running up my bill. This company is simply around for the purpose of trapping and stealing money from people. The operators on the phone were very rude to me as well, and I have nothing positive to say about anyone who works at this place.
Its a scam. Literally ripping people off. Guy saw me walk out the store and still booted my car and had to pay 75$.
The is company is scamming people. Their signs and check in procedures are designed to lead you to believe it is public parking then there are 2 boots when you return.
Terrible customer service. When I called to request the technician to come remove the boot, the operator would not give me an estimate on the arrival. They said I had to wait in eye sight of the car- he was so rude to me and hung up. It was in a parking garage and hot out. I waited over 2.5 hours for someone to show up. Only after I called and reminded them they are not complying with city ordinance of showing up within 30 min of a call did they give me an estimate. The tech that came was really nice and didn’t charge me, but I was traveling out of town and had to cancel plans. If I was a business I wouldn’t choose this company to boot my customers cars.
This company intentionally practices extortion in play daylight
Horrible and illegal scam doing company
They literally sit in their cars and wait for you to walk away and then put a boot on instead of letting you know you can’t or shouldn’t park there. That says enough about what kind of people they are. They stalk you and don’t say anything. And wonder why people are mad. My guy told me that he watched me get out of my car and walk across the street. Why didn’t you say something??The guy also told me it was my responsibility to read the small sign on the pole 25 yards away from me at night. Rather than simply yelling out of his window “you might not want to park here”. I wish i got his name. He was extremely rude. Even offered to fight me at one point. What kind of service is this?
The guys at Empire Parking Services are fantastic they are always very quick to resolve any issues I have with customers parking in paid parking spots. We share a parking lot with another business that also has a section very close to the front doors for customers who would like to pay to be close. We have noticed over the last few weeks more and more people trying to park without paying because they are going to be quick in and out. With help from EPS we have not had a single person try to park without paying since. Thanks again to the guys at EPS I recommend anyone that owns paid parking lots to check you guys out.
The employee told me I shouldnt be upset about my $75 boot. First off, the sign in big letters says self-parking and in very small print says until 11am and valet only after that. So I was mad I fell for that parking trap. Second, I am 7months pregnant. A man should not tell a pregnant woman how to feel about falling for a parking trap and having to waste $75 to get the boot off. Just do your job- process my payment and remove the boot. Please have your employees keep their opinions about my emotions to themselves. For the record, I was not yelling, being rude, or crying. I had a frown on my face.
Basically, they just sit there to try to get money from you. They locked your car, and you have no choice, just to pay $75. They said as long as you crossed that street to the Lenox mall, you will be charged, what hell of the business and happened in Atlanta???
Predatory parking service. They literally watched me walk to a food stand and booted my car While I was walkin. The service lady/cashier was very unprofessional and refused to give me my change. They have the parking signs tilted over so you cant see them, Very dirty Business operation
Incredible organization upholding stopping infringement decently. The most legit parking organization in Georgia. Thanks for your help !
Intentionally deceitful business practices to make a quick buck. Its a booting company...doesnt that say all you need to know? They also kept me waiting/standing next to my car for two hours when they said a technician (lol) would be out in 45 minutes. For businesses who absolutely must use a booting service, this company is not reliable or professional.
This company is such a joke. They booted my car while I was moving into my apartment, parked in the FUTURE RESIDENT SPOT. Then when I called to dispute it the operator on the phone was extremely rude, as was their unprofessional “technician”. All around dirty company giving people the run around until it’s not even worth trying to dodge the $75 fee to remove the boot.
No signage saying I needed a special pass to park as a guest. ( I was a guest) that alone should have been a reason not to boot. Took over an hour to respond to request to remove boot. Atlanta - 5:01am - 9:59pm they have 1 hour, 10pm to 5am they have 45 min. Use call log from your phone - make them follow the law . They promised me a refund after I helped them remember the LAW. Refund never came. Dispute filed with Credit Card Company.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.I was booted by this company, had 9.5 hours left on my ParkMobile App, and waited over an hour for them to show up and paid $75. I have talked with their answering call team 4 times now and have been told the same thing- a manager will contact you within 24-48 hours and they have not. When I call their office directly their voicemail box is conveniently full. I am extremely frustrated with their service and professionalism or lack their of.
I was with my friend and we got booted. We were trying to go to ponce city market and we parked in the lot across from it and didn’t see any of the signs.Obviously being booted isn’t a good experience, but the technician (janaris I think it’s spelled?) was so kind and helped us greatly. He got there fast, he explained what we did wrong, and then we shared stories and told jokes. He was a super funny guy and made the whole process suck a lot less.He also showed us the photos the people took of us crossing the street and we took a selfie with him. He was just a super nice dude and it was nice to hang out. It made everything a lot better.
Shady business practices and predatory parking company. The no in/out policy is total BS. Your ticket should be valid for as long as it says so on your ticket -- no questions asked. And if a Good Samaritan wants to pass the ticket along they should be able to without punishment. They will find any reason to put a boot on your car and take their time coming to remove it. This parking company should be shut down. Totally unfair.
If I could give negative 100 stars I would. I am so appalled by this company. My son, a friend of mine and myself drove in from Union County GA (2 hour drive) my son was scheduled at Emory for a consult before surgery- so my nerves were already wrecked! We parked at a pizza place that we were going to eat at when I saw a star bucks across the street. My 54 year old gentleman of a friend insist on walking me across the street. Made sure I got my coffee and walked back to the van. This was in a 3-5 min window. When He returned to my vehicle it was booted, even the manager of the pizza place vouched for us! A day that was supposed to be somewhat a good day before the doctor turned into a mess. We still ended up eating at the pizza place where the lady working kindly paid for our pizza after seeing the whole thing go down. The guy working was extremely rude to me, talked to me like I was stupid. And put something in my face I assume was a body cam, but there I was crying my eyes out. I never cursed him, or disrespected him although I sure my voice my frustrated. My 11 year old even noticed the disrespect. This is A SCAM! I wish I would have called the police, because I did not break the law or rules in no way.
Clowns. Had a discussion with an employee who called me clueless among other remarks. Got reimbursed by leasing company that unfortunately hires these people to boot guest vehicles even with valid permit. The only highlight is the booting person did not fully adhere the sticker on my window (less residue to clean off)
Parked at 725 Ponce to go to Heavenly Foot Massage. Came out if Heavenly foot massage and my friend and I had boots on our vehicles. Called the phone number and was told that we had to pay $75 each or boots will not be removed. 2 guys are walking around booting cars if they look thru the business window and don’t see you. I’m sitting in my vehicle watching them follow people to the business and come back and boot the car. How can you see people in the massage shop when they are in the back. These people are crooks. Called management and of course they are closed on Sunday. How can you patronize a business and come back with a $75 boot on your car. They went back and added another boot.
My daughter is a college student in Atlanta. She just had lunch at a restaurant, where she parked her car. After lunch, she literally walked across the street to grab a quick to-go coffee - she took 2-3 minutes - and when she returned, her car was booted because she wasnt still sitting in the restaurant where she had lunch! Even the restaurant owner came out and said she just ate lunch here, but he wouldnt remove the boot! He charged her $75 to remove it. He told her next time park on the street. She said she wanted to, but the street signs said she couldnt and it would be illegal. He then said you should just park there anyway. The cops dont enforce those signs. Im reporting this company to the local police for promoting illegal activity!
I am trying to find a contact for someone in this office. The employee that removed my boots on Friday charged my card $900 and I have yet to receive a call back from management Even though I was told it would take 24-48 hours to contact me. They are crooks.
Completely a shady, phony company. I got booted last night. I called the phone number to get the boot off, and I could hear the booting services phone ringing. They were sitting in the parking lot watching me the whole time. Anyways, I asked her why I was booted, and she couldn’t even tell me why. She just put a damn boot on my car. Empire, this isn’t the last you hear from me. I don’t care how long it takes, I will have you shut down. This is an extortion company.
My wife parked our car at about 10 am on December 29, 2019 at the lot on Krog Street across from the market (I was not in the car). When she told me she had not paid, I returned to the car within a few minutes.. There was a sticker on the car that the daily fee was $75 car and there was a boot on the car. A man in a black Mustang pulled up behind my car and I gave him my credit card and he told he charged $75. He removed the boot and drove the car to the Krog Street Market lot around the corner. My credit card was charged $375. I was told the additional $300 was an immobilization fee. I complained to EPS and provided the requested documentation to no avail. I also filed a complaint with the BBB.
Was visiting a friend on Valentines Day, parked in her approved visitor parking, spoke to Empire Attendant who said I was fine parked there & pointed me towards the elevator. When I returned to 2 boots on my car, there was a different attendant that said there was nothing that could be done, the other employee was gone & I had to pay to get boots off. It was so late at night, that I paid. After a 45 min. wait for removal I was told to call the number on my ticket to get a refund. Its been a month and 9 calls but not a single response! Ive called their office, no response! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!! THEY DONT CHARGE THEIR CLIENTS TO MANAGE PARKING, SO THEY HAVE TO WRITE TICKETS TO GET PAID!!
I wish I could give zero stars. I’m at Krog Street and there are FIVE cars here with valid parking that all have boots. It’s garbage.
Okay so the signs in midtown LOOK like the whole “WARNING: no skateboarding, loitering, etc...” tiny signs you always see so they are obviously ignored. As we pulled into the lot I looked for the “NO PARKING” signs that I’m used to and didn’t see any. Whatever. I walked over to Ponce thinking I was fine. The lady booting cars everywhere was very efficient let me just say. I promptly called and she promptly removed the boot. She should be booting cars in a business complex- not some sketchy scam to extort money from people.
I spoke with their “Supervisor” Roxanne and she was extremely rude. She caught an attitude with me because I asked her to repeat herself one time. She threatened to hang up in my face several times and in the end placed me on hold after screaming at me. Regardless if you are working in CUSTOMER service you should really be more respectful to customers. I am very disappointed.
Incompetent and rude. accused me of lying when in fact i had just shopped at a store ten spots away fromwhere they booted me. no return call from management. predatory parking management is a more appropriate name. why would the city hire this group? a mystery ...
These guys booted my car AT MY OWN JOB against the wishes of the property owner (MY BOSS). They refused to remove the boot until I paid them $75 even after my boss told them they wrongfully booted his employees car and the technician, reeking of marijuana, responded Oh well, already in the system so what do you want from me? Not only that but the man who answered the phone yelled at me for calling a second time after I waited 4 hours in 45 degree weather and no technician had contacted me yet, I was just making sure they hadnt forgotten me. I didnt get to go home UNTIL 4 IN THE MORNING! At least dont torture the people youre already illegally extorting for cash.
I don’t even know where to begin. I was ran over by one of their employee last night. I was at friend’s apartment and parked my car where I was not supposed to park, I saw a guy booting my car when I went back to my car. I nicely asked him to remove the boots because he just placed them to my wheels, he obscenely replied to me “you have to f.. pay.” And I got into a verbally fight him for a while. I told him “ok I will pay.” He told me “I can only pay cash, if not you can call police and I’m not f.. helping you anymore.” Well I called the police and he wanted to leave and I stood up front his car and told him “ the officer is coming, don’t go anywhere.” He hit me with his car and ran away. When the officer arrived I told him what exactly happened. The officer called and ordered him to get back. After 10 mins he showed up and started lying to the officer. Thankfully the security guy was there and told him what happened. The officer asked me if I want to press charge on him and arrested him. So I have a court date coming against this crooked company and their unprofessional, scum and thug employee.
This parking lot opposite LENOX mall is nothing, but a trap! There are 4 tiny signs nobody can read and as soon as you walk away from your car, they install boots prentending you went elsewhere! How can they see where people parking there go or dont go? ...ridiculous! Obviously I had to pay $ 75.- after refusing to pay $ 40.- in cash to the guy who puts boots on cars!!
Very shady business. Was parked at my girlfriends condo, and have been for many days, they booted my car within 10 minutes of my parking pass expiration date and time. I understand that booting is necessary in the Midtown area to eliminate unlawful parking, but this type of business practice is beyond disgusting and inhumane.
Never saw the sign that we couldn’t park there. The lady told my sister I had to move my car or it would get booted. She came in and told me and I went out there and they had already booted it. It’s pretty shady stuff right there. Thanks guys.
Parking Rip off at Shops around Lenox Square parking lot. Lot has adequately posted warnings. Some slots have individual signs, then slots with no signs then a section of posted signs. They boot cars at 75 a shot no matter where they are parked. We also drove the lot a found that only out of state cars were booted. Nothing but a money making scam.
This company will straight up SHOOT you if you upset them. Yes, you read that right, you WILL be shot. There was a recent incident involving this company in which a person got shot by an employee of Empire Parking Services after trying to get their boot removed, so I would try to avoid them completely!I understand that illegally parking can be frustrating. However, if you are a business looking to do work with Empire Parking Services, I would try to find another parking company. I would suggest you find one that doesnt deal with first world problems in a first degree kinda way.For people booted by this company, I understand your concerns. Shelling out $50, $75, even $100 can be pretty frustrating, even if you properly parked. I would still recommended you stay calm, since the car booters are always armed and ready to help you with your transactions (you WILL pay up)In the future, all you have to do is remember this when dealing with Empire Parking Services:Being booted makes your car immobile, but being shot in the leg makes YOU immobile.
Worst business ever. The representative on the phone told me “even if we put a boot on your car for the wrong reason or mistakenly put a boot on, you still have to pay 75$ to get it removed.”
Walked around the lot to kill time. Went shopping in lot and even offered to show receipt of purchases to prove was shopping in lot. That is unacceptable. At least have cameras of all areas to see the time stamp. Terrible technician.I HAVE RECEIPTS TO SHOW WHEN THE PURCHASES WERE MADE AT TIME BOOT WAS PLACED.
Paid my parking left my phone at a previous Resturant. Came back to my car with a boot. Just missed my time by 7 minutes. Lot attendant was still there. We chatted and he took the boot off and he didn’t have to do it.Pay the parking fee and don’t be late but if you’re a min or two behind, they have a soul and might be able to work with you.Appreciate y’all 💯Edit for grammar**
A company with no integrity that wont last long. They literally booted my car after we parked for less than one minute. We walked into Nexto and asked the hostess if we could use that lot. When she said no we left and they already had a boot on our car. This all happened in less than one minute. These are THIEVES who are too lazy to actually work for their earnings. Good luck being successful with that mindset.
THESE ARE 100% LOSERS! Best part of them…..They booted my car at Emory at 10AM when no one was there. My girlfriend had to deal with that scum.
Surprise Surprise another one star review. The gentlemen who removed my boot was just doing his job as he was told but they need more training to be effective. My credit card will deal with this as I have a mountain of evidence that signage is incorrect.
It is SCAMMING!. They are thieves, robbers! With their boots they can ask any amount of money but you cant argue for anything. They were watching me for the entire time in the parking lot where is no sign and came to boot my car when I left. They are skilled and ready to quarrel. I had a baby with me so I cant waste any more time with a thief. I cant believe this is a legal business. I have nothing but disdain for these people and their jobs. Their job is to scam, quarrel and make people feel disgusting. What a low job! What a pathetic life they have! We should work together to banned this company.
I parked at the plaza at city springs and ate at the mod pizza I was inside for about 20-30 minutes. When I came out I had 2 boots on my car I was curious to why because I was parked in between 2 cars that were there before me and they did not receive boots. I called the company to have my boot removed and they did not accept my receipt from the restaurant on top of not accepting the receipt he ripped it in my face called me a liar and said $75 I paid to have the boot removed because I did not have time to argue. Worst booting company ever.
Booted my car even though I paid and still had time on the app. Then we’re the rudest people I’ve ever had to deal with.
Trap. Hefty fines. No signs. Can’t reach anyone by phone for any explanations. Total scam....
They dont even deserve 1 star. Worst company ever. I paid and still got booted. They are thieves.
As a former parking attendant/security officer I understand that this job may not be the most popular position. However the technician I had the pleasure of working with with today as one of the most rude human beings I have ever interacted with. She clearly had no training in customer service, was abusive verbally, and treated patrons much like criminals more than customers. This company needs to reevaluate their staff.
I was booted, my own fault, however I was charged twice for the removal tried contacting the company 3 days in a row with no return call from management.
On Sunday 10/20 in the parking lot of Negril’s Restaurant I had an encounter with the rudest, nastiest man ever and he was driving the EPS Peachtree truck- he wasn’t even booting my car, but someone else’s! He was blocking me in and was very rude and disrespectful to me. I was appalled
Wife arrived at Shops at Lenox at 11:20 not realizing Lulu and Fabrik opened at noon. She walked over to Lenox Mall to return an item and came back at 12:02. As she was walking into Fabrik a thug looking man wearing a wool cap (it was over 60 out...) yelled you want the boot off your car??? She didnt know she was booted and explained she was shopping at Fabrik then Lulu. Didnt matter. $75 fee. I called a manager and had receipts/proof she shopped there and he didnt care. Said because she stepped off the lot they have the right to boot it. I explained what my wife had done re simply walking across to the mall until Fabrik opened and he didnt really care. Went so far as to say I think your wife is telling you a different story. Nice - so hes calling her a liar. After yelling for someone in the office to check the body cam he said hed call back. Never heard from him. Called again but I dont expect to hear from them. Worst parking lot company around!!
I wish I could leave 0 stars! Truly the most unkept, overpriced, and shady business in atl! Horrible! Technician 130, a short, portly, light-skinned black man, was one of the most deplorable people I have ever interacted with. He used obscene language repeatedly, initially unprovoked. He misgendered my girlfriend repeatedly, while laughing about it. Never should a REAL man treat a woman like he did!
INHUMANE, NO INTEGRITY, IMPOLITE. What is happening to the people in our country? A woman, a mother with no jobs, no place to live except a car, all she has is $6 in her pocket parks near the court in where she has to attend a hearing regarding her disability and homeless situation. Parking is $8 and she is $2 short. When she comes back in an hour, she is treated like a criminal and is charged $75. Even after explaining her situation, the parking attendants response was, mercy died a long time ago.If you dont pay now I will tow it and you will need to pay $150 to get it out! what is happening to humanity? Take from the ones who already have none! Cant be more shameful than this. what would you do if you were in her situation?
This is an evil predatory company that unlawfully booted my car. In 2008 the city of ATL mandated all booting companies to post clear 2.5x3 ft signs, otherwise the booting is illegal. Please tell me how this sign, which is bent in half and unreadable is sufficient! EPS pretends to have a dispute procedure but they do not because they are cowards who know what theyre doing is wrong. I have no idea how theyre allowed to continue operating. They are crooks, the lowest of the low. Even pond scum serves a better purpose.
ZERO STARS.THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE TO BUSINESSES EVERYWHERE.BOOTED ME WHILE I HAD A PERMIT AND WAS PARKED WHERE 20 OTHER ILLEGALY PARKED CARS WERE ALSO PARKED.CALLED 4 TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE FROM MANAGEMENTFILLED OUT REPORT WITH BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUTHEY DONT CHARGE THEIR CLIENTS TO MONITOR THEIR LOTS SO THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN MAKE MONEY IS BY SCAMMING PEOPLE.I WONT STOP UNTIL THEY STOPTHEY HAVE NOT HEARD THE LAST OF ME.
They booted my car in less that 2 hrs and I was at True Food. There is no sinage that says we can’t park here. Absolutely bs. Will be stopping payment on the charge
So my story is long and i will be briefly. I parked in Midtown area to go watch a movie in ArtCinema. On the way out i figured out that my car is booted and i should pay $75 for removal. I didnt do anything wrong. For guest of the cinema the parking area is free, but the people who works for that company Empire tried to hustle ans make money of me. I call property manager and the owner of Empire Parking Service. Off course on Sunday they dont work so i paid my fee of $75 and had been told that they will refund my money. That was the only option which i had do choose. Anyway they werent right and i didnt have the time to argue, so i paid. Month later with calling and texting them everyday i finally got my refund back. I am giving them 4 stars only because i promise myself that if i get my money back i will give them that review.I think no company which is booting cars will get more than 1 star anyway. So i give this guys 4 because of my refund. At least they did what they promised.Thank you
WOW, THE CITY OF ATLANTA ALLOWING THIS COMPANY TO CHARGE$75 OR MORE FOR ANYTHING THEY WANT REGARDING PARKING. REALLY, AND TRY GOING TO THE COMPANIES WEBSITE WHERE EVERYBODY HAS VOICEMAIL AND WILL NOT ANSWER. THE ATLANTA MAYOR REALLY NEEDS TO BE CONCERNED WITH THE GROWING NUMBER OF RATS RUNNING THE FREAKING STREETS AT NIGHT WHILE YOURE ALLOWING PARKING COMPANIES TO ROB THE CITIZENS . BUT THE CITY/COMPANIES WILL DO(((( ANYTHING )))) IF THEY CAN GET A DIME FROM YOU !!!
I was seven minutes late returning to my vehicle, which I paid $10 for two hours to park. Needless to say, my car was booted, and cost an additional $75 to remove. From my research, booting is illegal in Atlanta, and the city government IS aware of the activity, but do nothing to stop it. I would even guess that persons within the city government are benefiting from this practice. It’s just a matter of time before one of these technicians gets hurt, or killed, before this matter is taken serious. In fact, I would applaud when I hear the news. This company doesnt even deserve 1/2 of a star.I will simply stay out of the city and spend my money elsewhere.
I was illegally booted. I paid for parking (Fulton and Pharr rd ) at the kiosk! I called the boot company at 230am and no one showed up until 5am. This is a total scam and a racket.
Company marked my windshield with grease and forced me to pay a $75 fee under threat of tow. Whoever runs this company needs to re-evaluate their life choices and maybe think about hiring employees who don’t curse at you when you ask questions like “Why did you put grease on my windshield?” and “Why are you a terrible human being who extorts people’s naivety for profit?”
Like all booting companies, this company is full of crooks. Taking advantage of any opportunity they can, no matter the circumstances. Lady who placed and removed my boot, after me forking out $75, was rude to say the least. Was in the spot for less than 2 minutes (1 of which was spent with her removing the boot). Must be nice to legally steal $75 in under two minutes. What a life.
I would give this company a negative -10 .Parked my vehicle on 1-5-19 at the Ford Factory Lofts. Went into the shops and then went to the shops right next to them. Came back to my vehicle with a boot on my vehicle. Had to call EPS to come to take the boot off. I said I was not going to pay the $75 they wanted to take the boot off, that it should not have been put on I the first place. The technician said I had to pay it or I would not get my vehicle they would tow it to where else and then I would have to pay up to $750 to get it back. They said because I left the parking lot they had the right to put the boot on and that I was lucky they just didn’t tow it! I said I did not sea any signs stating that. But he pointed out a sign stating this as you leave the parking lot, how convenient.... I had to pay the $75. Rip off to get my vehicle. I asked the technician how they know I went to other shops and he s aid we are video taping you. Sounds like entrapment to me and invading privacy. They said I could dispute it if I wanted to but it would not do me any good. Before I left I took pictures of other vehicles that had a boot on them and they were all out of state vehicles, some coniensidence. I also took pictures of other in state, Georgia vehicles that were parked in areas that were not even parking spaces and saw people walking from other areas outside of the parking lot to their cars with not boot on their vehicles. I called the dispute number 4 times and it took them a whole week before they called me back. I explained the situation and asked them to refund my money, that I should not have to pay this fee. The person was very rude and did not care said I broke the rules and had to pay and I was lucky they didn’t just tow it because I did not want to pay the $75. He said then you owls had to of paid $750 to get my vehicle back to consider yourself lucky. I am disputing this charge and told the manager that they should have more signage posted except. When you leave the parking lot. He said there is by the dumpster area, (where you do not park at). Something should be done about this company, they are taking advantage of people especially out of state people. And the management does not care they just want to collect the fees.
Unlawfully booted our car. We were parking to attend a meeting across the street at a Federal Building. After scouring the deck for open spaces we only found one and the car to the left of the spot was over the line. In order for us to park we had to park inches over the line to our right. After our meeting we came to a boot on our car after we had paid for ALL DAY parking. The attendant was extremely rude to us and told us we were taking up two spots and not one and booted us because we didnt pay for two spots. EXCUSE ME. We offered to pay for the other spot for all day parking to resolve the matter but the attendant refused and forced us to pay the $75 to remove the boot. Disputing this with our bank, this is criminal and these guys should be in jail for their predatory practices. Theres a reason why there are so many negative reviews!
This is the biggest scam in Atlanta. The owner/operators flat out deceive the public. They will post signage for hours, then will shorten the time without warning, boot your vehical and demand ab extraneous fee for their effort. This is a massive scam that should be illegal. We need to ban such services. I dont care if the parking costs 4 times more in a garage or if you have to park at Marta and take a train in, avoid these slimy, lying, untrustworthy, deceitful reptiles at all costs. Youd get treated better and have more reliable parking from a random homeless stranger.
Incompetent. They chalk tires and leave piles of chalk behind on the ground. Drove over chalk left prior to my entering spot. This leaving residue on my front and rear tires. They booted me. When I called and spoke with the technician he let me know I was going to pay $150 the next day if I didnt get it of. He hung up on me. I called the manager and sent him pictures. He also hung up on me. He had the tech remove the boots at no cost after waiting for 2 hours.
My boyfriends car was booted unjustly by Empire Parking on the basis that hed left the lot at some point which he didnt. Supposedly because he had no chalk mark on his car and that was the only reason. Ticket on the dash and everything. We called the police who never showed up and my boyfriend finally gave in after an hour and paid. The boot guy showed up with his significant other (a man. Why was he in the car with him anyway while this man was working?? A liability) who jumped in the discussion and tried to lunge at me like he wanted to fight (Im a woman). This is absolutely unacceptable and I have a photo of the man who tried to attack me.The only positive thing I have to say is regarding Jose at LAZ customer service. He was the only person who attempted to help us throughout this hellish ordeal and I appreciate him for following up!
The worst company in the world. the worst people in the world. pretty sure they worship satan and were raised by wolves. They also hate puppies and dont talk to their grandparents around the holidays.
I paid for three hours of parking tonight via the mobile app. I came back two and a half hours later and they had booted my car. I called the number on the ticket and the lackey who answered blamed it on an issue with the Park Mobile app, but said there was nothing he could do about it because “he works for the city” and I would have to pay the ticket or basically spend the night there. I was afraid, so I paid the fraudulent charges.
I am leaving not only a bad review for EPS, a crooked scheme that shook me and my family down yesterday; but also to Lenox Mall that enabled this type of crooked activity. This is the type of activity that drives customers away. What was worse, even if I violated a parking law, you (Technician #129) passively watched me and family walk away without saying a word about the not-so-obvious signs. I hope you are proud of yourselves. Congratulations, I will never come here again!
They booted my car saying I left the parking lot to go to another business when I did not do this. The tech said they had me on video and had pictures. I asked to see them and he said I couldnt but still wouldnt remove the boot until I paid him. Basically they specialize in extortion.
If anyone was allowed to give a 1 star rating this company would have no stars. First of all, they make deals with apartment complexes so they can go into gated parking areas and boot residents. Second, they are extremely sketchy and unresponsive to “customer” calls that need the boots removed. The phone number on the booting sticker is even incorrect! The only way to get ahold of this company is google! They had contacted a technician to come assist me and he was not even on duty. I have waited up to 5 hours for a boot removal. The only positive experience I have had was employee 115 (Rodney)
Booted my car twice despite my parking pass not being expired. My pass is good until 2019 but apparently their employees cant read highlighted BOLD print!
Signs strategically hidden and the technician didnt know how to use to the app to do the charge. Took a good fifteen minutes for him to get it right. Inept workers. Always fine new ways to skim money off people.
*****SCAM ALERT****They are in cooperation with FAST SIGNS locates at north avenue near JR Crickets. They hire crackheads that tell you its okay to pay for parking during game days, and the signs are only for day to day violation. You will not be booted was the answer when we asked.Stay away fro. Fast signs and carry a angle grinder to cut the boots off this scam company .Worst part about it. Its all within view of city police, so thats what made it feel okay. The cops can see this transaction. So if it was illegal the cops wouldve stopped it right? NOPE!!!!
Operator 129, a real low life. Watched me get out of the car, cross the lot and walk in the store. He then like the cowardly low life that he is, he put a boot on my vehicle. I was back in less than 7 mins. Now, where it gets tricky is that, my coworker was with me and she went to get lunch in the plaza that I parked in. He said; it doesnt matter because it is based on where the driver went?? Makes no sense. This is straight extortion and I am going to speak with my attorney about this. You enjoy that 75.00 because this is far from over. You will lose more than you stole you low life gang of thieves.
Paid for parking, placed the ticket on my dashboard, and still had my car booted. Not only did they take their sweet time to show up, but they still charged me an additional fee for not seeing the parking stub on my dashboard. When I told him the stub was on the dashboard, the employee told me that they take pictures of dashboards and that it wasnt present, so I asked to see the photo. Of course, they couldnt furnish any photos. Total scam. I plan to report these folks everywhere and anywhere I can.
These people will boot you car for no reason. Just because they want to make money. They will boot you even if you are in the right spot, but they will make it seem like you were not. Dont park in these money hungry peoples lot.
