Happened to be in Inman Park on a Saturday evening with my son who was home from college & badly needing a cut. So grateful that the kind folks at PRKCHPS were able to get us in right before they closed. First of all, super cool laid back spot with a vintage eclectic vibe. Secondly, there’s a BAR with BOOZE. Need I say more? Lastly, my kid walked out with a dope cut courtesy of Fallon. He has since informed me that he’s found his new barber & I’ve since informed him that I’m more than happy to accompany him once a month for moral support ...& whiskey!

Maybe service is better for walk ins, but their appointment system leaves a lot to be desired.Theyll cancel your appointment if youre ten minutes late, but they wont respect your time and often leave you waiting in the lobby for 10-15 minutes after your appointment time.Haircuts are fine, customer service is very scuffed.

I have been going to PRKCHPS for over a year now. Jason cuts my hair and hes amazing. I have recommended lots of friends to try them out and everyone is super satisfied. The experience is grungy and laid back. Get a cocktail while you get trimmed. This place is the best

Im new to barber shop culture, but this was the best haircut Ive ever had. The atmosphere is scrappy and eclectic. My stylist was friendly and personable. A hot shave of my neckline with just a regular haircut was a great touch. The staff all seemed like they were friends and enjoying their work. I already look forward to returning for my next haircut. Hands down this place is among the best and coolest barber shops in Atlanta. A free drink as soon as you walk in the door (non-alcoholic too if thats your style), barbers who know their stuff and can politely put you in the right if a less talented barber led you astray in the past. Definitely call to see how busy they are, but Ive gotten in on a walk-in before. Plus, if you have to wait, theres always that free drink.Keep it up Pork Chops.

I like the chalkboard scheduling system here. Ive had my hair cut by several of the stylists and always been satisfied. They serve your favorite beverages while you get your hair whacked off. Bonus: they feature a stylish nude painting where you get your hair washed. Whats there not to like?

Cool atmosphere and good drinks but had a pretty bad cut. Ignored the sides and didn’t even trim around the ears. Left me with some bushy sideburns that I paid $40 for. Won’t go back

Walked in to this barbershop as I been looking for s place that would actually allow that. Many joints around me are appointment only and since I dont drive this was an awesome find. I loved the way it looked too. Signed up for Carla I believe was her name and she was fantastic. Gave me a better cut than my guy in LA.

Been going to Jason for over a year, and I don’t trust my hair with just anyone. Always leaves me really happy & confident with my hair, esp. a week or two later once it’s settled and growing in, that’s when it matters most and I’m always happy. Yes, it costs a little more than most ‘barber-men’s salons’, but for a cut, wash & style, and a drink to boot...? C’mon dude. Shut up & sit down, you’re gonna look good.

Wide selection of alcohol (whiskey, vodka, etc) to drink while you wait or get your haircut, but it is all on the lower end of the quality spectrum. Good haircuts here, feels very old fashioned. A little pricey for a men’s haircut, I think it’s up to $35 now, but Atlanta is an expensive city!

I initially came here because of walking proximity from my house. I have been a happy client since day one.I had dreadlocks for 8 years. When I cut them off I was left with an unhealthy pixie, a few thin spots, one bald spot, and cowlicks I didnt know how to manage. I was going to a salon in VaHi where I was being charged almost $80 to basically have my neck trimmed up every few weeks! Someone suggested I try a barbershop.I have had my hair trimmed by Chelsea, Jayson, and Ryan. They are all great! They listen to me, make professional suggestions, and take time to teach me different ways to style it during the grow out process.My hair is 100% healthy now, all the thin spots have filled in, and Ive figured out how to work with my cowlicks instead of arguing with them :)I highly recommend this barbershop. If you are a female with short hair, I specifically would like to recommend it to you.
