I booked an “Ultimate Package” (a $100 Service) with “KevinTheProdigy” and all seemed well at first. Towards the end of my haircut I felt a burning sensation in the back of my head and informed him that I felt like I was cut. He told me I wasn’t bleeding and continued the cut. When I got home I was cut and there was fry blood in three places of my head/face. When I reached out to Kevin via text sending photos and of my injuries and asked how we’d rectify the situation he apologized and stated he’d give me a discount on my next service. When I expressed that I was uncomfortable receiving services with him and also asked for a refund he agreed. I sent him my Zelle information and he sent me back a $10 refund. $10?! FOR CUTTING ME UP? As salon manager salon, Salon/Barbershop etiquette is that if a guest is cut and in this case in multiple cases a FULL REFUND is the only suitable resolution . DO NOT BOOK SERVICE KEVIN!!!!! All he cares about is money. His craft, name and reputation aren’t. I am so disappointed and frustrated that I spent $100 on a less than amateur experience. I’m out of $100 with an injured head and face.

Been going here for a while now, I always go with Rob. Very meticulous and always trying to improve. I didn’t know what I was really looking for in a haircut and Rob helped me figure out what would look good. The music is good too, a lot of different genres.

I’ve booked two appointments (for “Kevin the Prodigy”) at this location. My first appointment, I had to wait 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I’m always a person of second chances, however, the second time I booked an appointment I booked for 11a. I received a text message 30minutes before my 11a appointment asking if he can push it back to 11:30a! Unprofessional! However I made an appointment because I have other things to do, which is why people make appointments. If you as a service provider expect your clients to be on time, and respect your time. You should respect there’s as well. I will not be back.

Loft 109 HairStudio is an amazing place to get your haircut. The new location is convenient and clean directly across from Ponce City Market. The atmosphere is welcoming and ALL of the staff are willing to help new/current clients with hair/product questions. They have appropriate music/movies, which is a PLUS! My barber is Tuck. I have been a client of his for a couple of years, and he is always available and on time with scheduling. I recommend anyone regardless of ethnicity to try this barbershop, I am pretty sure you will enjoy your experience, because I do!

Kevin the Prodigy is a young and talented barber. His skills are beyond his age. He both courteous and meticulous. He gives great suggestions for you also. He is able to provide weekly casual cuts as well as cuts for special occasions.

The barbers in this particular barbershop greets you as you come in. Just about any conversation that the barbershop have it’s not hard in bidding in, they make you as family. I got excellent service when I went to loft 109 barbershop Kevin Jones Was The Barber that attend to my haircut needs he asked if I needed a barber as soon as I walked in took his time to ask me how I wanted my haircut and did not rush on my hair because he had other people waiting in line to get a cut the design he gave me was just right he freestyled it and he had my hairline on point and did not push it back I would definitely make him my barber for life thanks Kevin your a real professional and businessman

Helll yeaahhh! Loft 109 is the move! Im asian and they did great! Asians come through. Before Loft, I was failing all my classes, had glasses, had crutches, and lost my phone. After Loft, oh man oh man. I could see without glasses, got straight As, got all my limbs working and grew an extra limb, and found my phone.

I guest I was unlucky the day I went! I was not satisfied at all with my haircut. The barber did not get what I want and he was not dedicated at all. And ultimately, he is not been able to charge with my car because on some issues with his cellphone.
