We have been a customer of Bay State for 3 years and suddenly they started missing our business with their pick ups. I called to let them know that my dumpster is completely full and they have not come to pick up for two weeks. They didnt care and just said they will pick it up next week on the normal weekly pick up time- which again they have missed for two weeks. In the meantime trash is piling up at the back door. I cancelled my account and they said they will be charging cancellation fees despite the fact I am cancelling due to the fact they are not performing the services I pay for. I rented a dumpster, and told the person in the phone I only wanted it fir one week. Made sure I called on the day it was supposed to be picked up and they confirmed. Got a bill for an extra 4 days of rental because that’s how long it took them to come get it.

They love to annually increase the price. They are the Comcast of the dumpster world.Update: They lowered our pricing and explained their audits after my negative review.

I have had a dumpster and recycle dumpster serviced by baystate for years now, and while weather or holidays may change a pickup here or there, i am never left without service. the one day a truck breakdown caused me to almost have to go through the weekend without being emptied, the owner called me himself to apologize and sent out a truck on a saturday. need i say more about why i continue working with them? have used for multiple roll off rentals and because they are a small business that you can work with they always make it easy and have even ignored the rental price and just charged me for the disposal of roll off. i delt with 3 large disposal companies before baystate and there is no comparison.
