Needed a snapper mower part which was not available from Snapper and they cross referenced the part and found an exact match from another supplier and was able to order the part. Great friendly folks!

So a year ago I reviewed Downey Sawhouse. I had at the time only given them a 3 star rating. Reason being, I didnt do much business with them and didnt see anything that set them apart from an average repair shop.Today however, I am changing my review. My wife went in to drop off a chainsaw to be looked at. Thought shed just drop it off and theyd call her later with a repair estimate. That wasnt the case today. They jumped right on it and figured out the problem. Did the repair and had it going again, all while she waited. Maybe 30 minutes for it all to be done. They even did it for a reasonable fee. For their excellent and speedy customer service today, they have shined above an average repair center and deserve a better rating. So today I give them 5 stars and a thumbs up for their service. Thank you, and we will be doing more business with you.

Theyve done it again! Outstanding customer service, friendly and knowledgeable. Had a repair done on my riding lawnmower, went to pick it up and the owner asked if I wanted the blades replaced. Good idea, as mine were trashed from last season. As he drove the mower from around back, he noticed a noise - he stopped immediately, propped it up to take a look and fixed it on the spot, with a new part, totally unrelated to the issue I brought it in for!! They are awesome, dont go anywhere else!!

I had brought in a chainsaw and expected to drop it off to change out a worn sprocket and chain. They had parts in hand and repaired it right away. You can’t beat the turn around time here. Friendly and great customer service every time I come here!

I tried to troubleshoot my non-starting craftsman riding mower for hours before I took it to Downey Sawhouse. It took longer for me to get it off the trailer than it did for Mr. Downey to fix it. Its about time that there was a place where I can take my lawnmower, weed eater, chainsaw, etc........to get fixed or tuned up, and get it done right and in a reasonable amount of time.Downey Sawhouse is just such place. John is very knowledgeable and gets your stuff back to you running like new.Its also a plus at how nice they are. I refuse to go to other shops for that reason.Highly recommend Downey Sawhouse!
